It was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy and it was much quieter than I expected for a hostel so I didn’t need to wear ear plugs.
The bathroom was tiny and even though we had a private bathroom the cost was extraordinary for a hostel.
Breakfast was pretty basic for a hostel. Rooms were clean and I felt safe.
The site says there is parking available but it is not free. Its a discounted rate at a parking garage a couple blocks away. I stayed at this hostel with my rental car because i thought i would have free parking. I wish there had been a warning that parking and traffic is crazy ridiculous in San Francisco. I spent $56 parking my rental car for two nights and never used it. I could have just used Uber.
I loved the cleanliness and the facilities on offer
The bathroom could be cleaner and the breakfast could have a little more variety
I felt safe. The free hostel activities in the evening were great.
Roommates brought a guy back to my room after midnight even though it's an all female dorm. They were extremely noisy.
Very clean bathrooms and washrooms. The rest of the hostel was very well kept too. Lots of activities organized by the hostel and many chill spaces to choose from with TV's, games, books etc. (Beware of the pub night that's organized at the oyster bar - about six girls had their phones stolen and the staff knowingly keeps taking guests back there). The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was quite stuffy and had a weird smell in the hallway leading to it. Always needed a window open or the fan on. The breakfast was very basic - a variety of breads, bananas, apples, and the choice to make your own pancake. Eggs would've been a great addition.
