Walk to the SAP Center. Free parking. Free breakfast. Nice rooms!
The room was beautifully remodeled with high ceilings and lots of space. Continental breakfast was filling and fresh. My first impression of the hotel was not great, however, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms above us were a little noisy.
Close proximity to SAP center for events. New carpet and furnishings. Had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room. Air conditioner did not work, it was blowing hot air. Bathroom was dingy looking but superficially clean. Their recent remodel did not include the bathroom.
This is the best place to stay if you don't want to drive when attending an event at the SAP Center, which is less than a 10-minute walk. I also like that the place is very clean, the hotel and our room. My friend was in town to attend a concert with me and we were both very happy with the accommodations, especially since we just wanted a clean, safe place to stay and this was the place. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent too. They had hot and cold options. The hotel is a bit dated but my main concern is cleanliness and safety.
Lighting in the room was poor, the shower temperature would constantly fluctuate between scolding hot and just barely warm. The hallways still smelled of fresh paint and carpet was a bit tattered. Location isn't bad and the staff and breakfast was great.
The hotel is dated and could use a remodel, but it was reasonably priced. The room was clean, large but old. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which we didn't use. The switches and timer where outside the bathroom which dated the place. Still the room was good for what we needed it for. We had a good stay there.
Guys at the front desk are all super nice. Lady at the front desk could try smiling.
Is a great hotel, in my groups opinion it was better suited for many people than the Fairmount Hotel. Next year for fanime we will be staying at the Arena Hotel the whole time.
Location was convenient The staff was unfriendly, I did not feel welcome. The lighting in the room was terrible, air conditioning difficult to adjust, and carpet was dirty
Everything, from cleanliness of our room to the friendly service.
Nice staff Being woke up at 3am due to excessive loud noise outside the hotel window
room service was delicious and fast. Stay was very comfortable. Beautiful large bathroom. Great location.
We loved the late night pantry
The bathrooms were well furnished... Better than the actual rooms. The staff was very friendly. True price I paid was not worth the room. It was a very crampt room with ancient furniture. The rooms were a boring shade of beige and our window view was another building being constructed. It's layout seemed more that of a comfort inn with a price tag of 90 dollars a night rather than 150. It's not worth the price, if you have a car go to a comfort inn and save some money cause got the same experience.
The newly renovated rooms and baths are simple and elegant. The Hedley Club lounge serves good food & cocktails. Conveniently located in downtown San Jose, short walk to Convention center. The room lacked many standard amenities: 1) password protected, high speed Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi was free, slow and unsecured) 2) in room safe large enough to fit a laptop 3) stocked mini-bar (empty mini-fridge provided but there were no vending machines or in hotel shop to buy snacks & drinks) 4) in room guide/magazine with local/city info
One of the best Motel 6 motels I've experienced. Above average staff, very clean, excellent location for public transportation and very good local cafes and restaurants. I'll be back.
Friendly staff, clean room. Literally the most uncomfortable bed and pillows ever. I didn't expect memory foam obviously but it was like sleeping on a thin layer of springs. My back hurt all day after.
Modern rooms The man at the front desk when I checked in was rude .
Good location, reasonably well maintained, recentlich remodeled rooms. Horrible beds, very noisy A/C, very noisy fridge. Clientel is mostly construction workers travelling on behalf of their employers. Low education, low manners folks. I understand that the have to rise at 5:00 a.m., yet that does not mean that they have to holler and slam doors. Unfortunately the opposite also comes into play. Late-shift guys drinking in the parking lot and on the corridors late into the night with TV blaring.
Leisurely 1.2mi walk to SJCC, partly along trail.
Walking distance to SAP Center Room was very small, no closet, no Kleenex , TV was bad and morning coffee had only powdered creamer. Color of the room was awful, bright orange.
We found the room to be very nice and uber clean. Given that there were some negative comments about cleanliness we found that to not be the case, We would stay there again with no concerns.
The room was very clean, the whole property was well kept. The staff was very helpful and friendly. they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The price was steep, but it seems they all are in this area.
Location of hotel was near downtown San Jose.
