9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, simple but stylish rooms. Staff were lovely.
Cons: The only negative thought was that the noise from breakfast travelled a little into the room as the rooms were around a courtyard. Nothing serious however.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 3 nights and loved Legado Alcazar. Its location is in the heart of Sevilla, but it is super quiet due to its location on a very quiet street. Our room was stylish and modern. It also had a great terrace which I can recommend splurging on. Breakfast was the best of our 3 week trip. The staff really care and were a pleasure to be around. They seem to be able to organize anything on a moment’s notice. First rate experience that I highly recommend.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hidden next to a church in a small plaza in Seville’s historic quarter, this boutique hotel is a real gem. A lot of thought went into the decor. When you walk in you feel as if you have entered into a home of a Spanish aristocrat with rich tapestries, beautiful chandeliers, telescopes and marble floors. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable too. We also found the staff very helpful in planning our stay while in Seville. Gorge arranged a great Flamenco show for us at Tablao el Arenal. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. It deserves a top rating.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service from the staff was fantastic they could not have been more helpful and friendly if they tried. The room was clean and comfortable and the walls are thick enough you do not hear the people in the next room. The location is great and the car park was brilliant. Thank you
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent car parking option. Make sure to prebook as spaces are limited (I used booking.com messenger). Access is via an alleyway / ramp behind the hotel, around 18Euros for 24 hours. Check vehicle height if have 4x4 or roof box etc as low ceiling. Parking is tight. Pull up at front of hotel (hovver for max 5 minutes on yellow hatching), check in and then drive round to the parking garage. If door not open press the button by the garage door and it will be opened for you (front desk will need to advise you are on way). Need to leave keys with assistant to park the car. Secure lift access from garage to hotel. Didn't pre-book breakfast but took the discounted rate offered by the desk on check in. I had to ask though, wasn't immediately offered. It must be ordered the day before, advised you cannot turn up on the morning. Thought it was expensive when booking breakfast, but range and options available from the buffet were excellent, hot and cold options available. We filled up and it was worthwhile - (available 7 am to 11 am I think) so we explored Seville cooler early morning and came back and ate a later brunch. Hotel rooms were good, one twin and one three, adjacent as requested. Safe available. Accoutrements of a 4 star hotel as expected in bathroom. Lovely rooftop pool, small but refreshing, fabulous views. Lobby Bar had free hot / cold drinks and pastries / snacks available at all times - very useful when travelling with teens. Wifi good. No restaurant in hotel itself (other than breakfast), however, arrangements with adjacent restaurant for room orders. Lots of lovely tapas bars and restaurants nearby, esp in Triana. Mainly chose this hotel for secure parking, and easy in/out when travelling into Seville from Portugal without getting caught up in the one way system; as well as easy walking distance from the main sights of Seville. Would very happily recommend and intend to stay again.
Cons: It is quite expensive. There are cheaper options available in Seville. We chose this for convenience, location, parking etc. It was worth it, but the add ons (parking / breakfast etc) did bump the price up noticeably. We def paid for the convenience. We had a second floor room. It was slightly noisier than we are used to, or expected, but Seville is a big city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, facilities and value
Cons: Nothing it was all great would recommend staying here.

9.4 Excellent
Cons: All perfect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: An extremely nice hotel, with too many amenities to list. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, with excellent English. It is a rather good location, in the center of everything.
Cons: It was somewhat expensive but that's how they can manage to offer so many services. Other than that, I really can't think of any drawbacks.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel in a fab location. Walking distance to all attractions. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, who gave us maps of the city and circled recommended places to visit. The rooms were nice and spacious, mini bar and safe in the room it needed. We paid for the buffet breakfast within the hotel which was amazing and well worth the money, such a variety of food! The rooftop pool was a blessing! Especially in the warm weather! I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I return to Seville I’ll be staying in the same hotel.
Cons: The only thing I disliked was the fact there were two single beds pushed together rather than a double bed, however this wasn’t a big deal at all.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and professional staff. Very clean and great amenities.
Cons: Location was just ok.
Overview Reviews
Commissioned by the King of Spain to play host to international dignitaries during the 1929 Exhibition, Hotel Alfonso XIII remains an iconic cultural landmark, centrally located in the historic quarter of Santa Cruz, next to Reales Alcázares and Seville Cathedral. Following a significant renovation, completed in 2012, the hotel’s distinguished architecture and Moorish detailing have been enriched, showcasing native Andalusian design and heritage to a new generation of traveler. The hotel's innovative décor, from the lobby to the inner courtyard, continues to reflect Sevillian style. This ambience also pervades our outdoor swimming pool and gardens, which entice guests to relax and refresh under the warm Andalusian sun.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A unique place in Sevilla to spend the night. The bathroom was particularly beautiful. The swimming pool is a place to relax and enjoy. The staff was friendly and very attentive.
Cons: There was not coffee or tea available in the rooms. Some of the furniture though very nice an old was "fatigued" and we could see the usage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel's history and decor was breath taking. I love all the little details.
Cons: I didn't like how it was a little difficult to find the pool.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wide view of the city below and across to the cathedral.
Cons: Room was not cleaned very well- not vacuumes during our stay. Maid did not proveide our complimentary water each day and kept forgetting cups, cofee etc. Concierge could provide more help with local attractions and suggestions of places to visit.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The property is decidedly a Grande Dame. You almost feel underdressed if not attired in formal wear. However it a far from stuffy. The staff are exquisite, knowledgeable and charming. The team of Concierge were outstanding in their recommendations and arrangements. . Breakfast buffet is one of the best I've enjoyed.
Cons: The Executive chef needs to learn how to get a brigade together. Dined twice in the main restaurant. On the second night the majority of the diners waited endlessly for their courses to arrive. Obviously a big break down. Any Chef, worth their title, should have been in view and pologizing for their ineptitude. The only blip on the radar but it was a massive one that tarnished 3 incredible nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was magnificent! The position in the city made sightseeing easy. The pool and gardens were a bonus where you could relax and have lunch after a day walking around the Cathedral and Alcazar. The food and service were excellent. The bedroom was stunning and kept at a beautiful cool temperature day and night. This trip was my 50th birthday gift to my wife and it exceeded our expectations. Sevilla, the hotel and the weather were all spectacular and well worth visiting. We have already begun to plan our next visit!
Cons: Nothing!

It was especially good to have a free mini bar as it meant not having to buy extra water, especially as the weather was hot. The air conditioning was excellent, very quiet.
Cons: I didn't like the super soft pillows. I appreciate that's a personal preference. Otherwise the bed was super comfortable. And remember, it's Spain, so the restaurant doesn't open until 7.30.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Walking distance to all the main attractions. Staff really friendly and always happy to help. Restaurant food was superb.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was completely fabulous. The staff were beyond helpful and no question was ever too big or small there were always there to help any way they could. Upon arrival they already listed great restaurants to try along with other information about trips / the best times to go and various other recommendations. We had just come from a different hotel in Seville and there was no comparison in excellence of how brilliant this hotel was, the comfort and the history ( yes this hotel is actually a Spanish palace!!). Air conditioning is wonderful as is the wifi which is important for a lot of people travelling for work. If you are a fish lover or you find you aren't traditionally a Tapas kind of person I would highly recommend dinner in the hotel which was fabulous ( we only ate there on our last night which I regret as it was beautiful!).

Pros: Very good location by the Alcazar and Catholic church and dining, etc...quality hotel with excellent staff.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Small and charming hotel in an amazing location in the old quarter, on a narrow, pedestrian street, just steps from the cathedral and an abundance of lovely restaurants, shops, and bars.
Cons: Bed not ideal for a couple because made up of 2 beds pushed together (a common problem I have found in Europe). Cathedral bells and groups of jovial pedestrians interrupted sleep (problem solved by closing windows, but then no fresh breeze).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location phenomenal, staff incredibly accommodating, room comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive and caring staff, clean room, perfect location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beside having a prime location I would say the hotel has amazing colleagues there. On the day of our check-in the lady on reception (unfortunately I forgot her name) was really helpful and kind. She explained how to get to the best places in Seville as well as booked for us a very nice flamenco experience. I would recommend this hotel for my friends and family.
Cons: There is no view from the low floors (I guess there is a view from the top floor), hence booking.com shall mention this on their website, rather than mentioning “view” and it’s not there.

Cons: Unfortunately the safe didn’t work, we did mention it but it wasn’t repaired but no real issues we Locked our stuff in our case. Also the air conditioning didn’t seem to go very low and the room didn’t cool down much.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean and friendly.
Cons: They gave me worst room of the type I ordered lowest floor worts view.
7.5 Good
Pros: Whilst not in the historic centre was very easy to get to and from all the sights. Taxis were very plentiful and inexpensive.
Cons: Steer clear of the lady in reception flogging tours . She sold us a ‘special’ hop on hop off bus tour departing from the hotel . Was an absolute rip off . Avoid. We were also very disappointed that despite reporting it twice our ‘hot ‘ water in our room was only ever luke warm so difficult to get a hot bath. Food in the restaurant was good but the service was amateur and not up to the standard of a restaurant with aspirations to be classy. The novelty top floor panoramic terrace is good for one visit but the fans make it unpleasant to stay for long.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, fantastic views!
Cons: Odd layout of bathrooms (one room required going through the toilet to the shower, the other room had a very cramped toilet in what felt like a tiny cupboard whilst the rest of the bathroom was huge, why?!). Very strange.

Pros: The lot
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location between the Cathedral and the Alcazar, even though a little tight for driving down the narrow, cobbled back streets to get to the hotel. We arrived and parked our car opposite with the hotel charging 25 euros per day to relocate the car off site (well worth it). Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Breakfast was included and good value (Excellent coffees ). Lovely bar where we would meet up before setting off each evening. We dined late each night because of the temperatures but noted most bars closed by 12 midnight. Felt very safe walking around the streets day and night.
Cons: The bill for the minibar but that's our fault ! :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place, rooms very beautifully decorated, wonderful location!! Lovely staff, they gave us very good recommendations in town, and we loved getting welcome drinks!
Cons: The room gets too bright in the morning, I prefer windows the block more the light, but I wouldn’t call ir a disadvantage

Pros: Beautiful location, right in the heart of the city. The staff were amazing, so friendly and able to help and assist with anything. Would highly recommend this hotel
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing! We came with our little baby girl and they put a baby bed for us and every day cleaning her bottles etc. For the travelers, the hotel is located downtown and it could be really tricky to get to the hotel because the streets are really narrow. I would have appreciated to be informed before coming. I strongly recommend this place anyway!

Pros: Excellent location. Very friendly staff.
Overview Reviews
THE HOTELAn 18th-century dwelling in the fiery city of Seville is the privileged retreat of Hospes Las Casas del Rey de Baeza. A relaxed, sophisticated fusion of past and present, the hotel is awash in rustic natural touches, such as woven pull-string window shades and idyllic riverbed rock paths. Global modernity is evident in dark chocolate-colored furnishings, including wooden beds from Indonesia, sweeping beech paneling, esparto carpets, and oversized floor cushions.ARCHITECTURE & DESIGNOnce a beautiful traditional settlement, the building encompassing the hotel is a wonderful marriage of the best elements of Arabic and European design. Authentic Andalusian materials and architectural styles are seen throughout, such as whitewashed walls with accents of ocher and red and terracotta flooring, as well as the use of local stone, clay, and slate. The guest rooms take on an urban chic ambience while still retaining a traditional modernity with their dark colonial-style furnishings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, large and comfortable rooms, lovely roof terrace with pool and excellent food (and restaurant recommendations). Such a little gem.
Cons: Would be good to have bottles of water in the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful soft furnishings and outside space. Tasting menu in the restaurant was outstanding. Alexandra was an excellent, helpful and hard working member of staff.
Cons: It was impossible to get a drink in the lounge area and we gave up several times after asking reception to send someone in. It seemed like staff would only take notice of your requests if you were in designated areas of the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, peaceful and very friendly staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The interior of the hotel is very stylish and characteristic. Goes with the vibe of the town and we liked it very much. The pool at the top was also nice, not big but enough for the guests. The reception staff also gave us 2h extra check out on the day of our departure so we could enjoy the pool a bit longer that day before our flight.
Cons: The service could be a bit improved. Front desk was very nice and smily but the general feeling outside this was a bit cold. I don't think we were ever greeted with a smile or eye contact at the breakfast. It didn't bother us too much but when one of the waiters at the pool asked me for tip (for one drink!) without any discretion I was a bit surprised. She probably had other ideas of what good service initials but it did make me feel baffled. Otherwise the hotel was lovely.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The booking in process at the hotel was easy. We were offered a complimentary drink which we had in the pretty little courtyard. We were shown to our room, which was a junior suite and it was really lovely. (With the biggest bed we have ever slept in!!) We even had a complimentary bottle of sparkling as it was our wedding anniversary. The hotel is quiet and is located an easy 15 minute walk from the catherdral. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The pool area was quite small with only room for a few sunbeds, having said that, it was still nice to get back to the hotel after a day of exploring and have a dip in the pool. The restaurant is nice, although some of the staff are a little on the serious side and as there were only a couple of us having dinner on our first evening, there was a lack of atmosphere. Perhaps a little, softly played background music might help.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent selection of produce
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location
Cons: Restaurant did not offer any vegeterian choices and was very privey

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, good location, helpful staff and good parking. Perfect for our stay in Seville, would stay again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was excellent. Very large and quite luxurious for the cost.
Cons: There was no lift to the garage which caused a slight problem with transport of luggage to and from the room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel situated in the Triana district of Seville, which has some very nice tapas restaurants and are more tourist friendly than some other areas of the city. Hotel Monte Triana is just across the river from the main city and only takes about 10 minutes walk from the hotel before you're at the bus station, or "in" the city. Exactly what you'd expect from a 4 Star hotel; lovely staff, service and amenities. I sprang for the breakfast on my first morning there, after needing a little bit of normality in my diet after eating tapas, bull tail and various montaditos for 4 days solid. It was exaclty what I needed, bacon, eggs, cereals, fruits and importantly; a cup of tea.
Cons: Only possible critism was that at 14€ the breakfast price was a little steep, but at a 4 star hotel, that is to be expected. It's a big hotel in the middle of a vibrant city so you'll hear the other guests coming and going, and a degree of street noises.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location , excellent staff , eveything was great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is good with some stores nearby and close to city center. The hotel rooms are spacious with good interior. The staff courteous and helpful to provide information about places to visit and how to get there.
Cons: The only thing which was not as per our expectations was the AC during our days of stay. Spain was warm and probably some issues with AC might have caused that.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super comfortable and clean, stuff are very friendly
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: Clean hotel. Bathroom perfection
Cons: Aircon was cold and couldn’t change it. House keeping walked into our room without knocking at about 915am and laughed when i made it clear i was angry and disgusted. Location is terrible from centre. Remote control on tv need new battery, the front doors of the hotel are locked and you have to be buzz in and if the front desk person is buzy you have to wait til they can come over to open the door and this is a 4 star hotel that looks amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The parking was much appreciated in the cost of the room and our windshield was cleaned before we left the next day as a considerate extra from the hotel. The staff changed out the TV in our room when the original one failed to work properly. This was done in a timely way. The air conditioning was working and the room was cool when we arrived on a 39 degree celcius day!
Cons: No complaints- it was fine
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, very good breakfast, clean room. Good position.
Cons: Not central position but still few minutes to reach center

7.1 Good
Pros: We were in the old part of the city next to Hercules square with lots of shops and retaurants surrounding us. The staff was very helpful, quick to provide keen advice on what to do and where to go.
Cons: The pillows were rock hard, very uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny. We were there visiting the city with another couple, the city is so vibrant and fun that we stayed up until 3 am people watching, eating tapas, drinking sangrias and watching the young folks partying it up. By the time we made it back to the room we were so tired that we didn't let the hard pillow bother us. Extended stayers may need to figure something out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice and the bed super comfortable. I loved the dressing gown and slippers. I had a great sleep - aircon and mostly quiet (when the guests next door weren't yelling or slamming doors). The location is perfect too.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is superb. Very nice hotel, small but very clean and rooms were updated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, spacious, refurbished room, comfy beds, good size bathroom and spacious shower with good shower pressure. Very polite and helpful staff. I discovered at 1 am that my bathroom dryer and outlets were not working. I called reception that I will be needing dryer next morning at 5 am. The staff member showed up 2 minutes later in my room with portable hair dryer in his hand. Great people, great customer service! I would stay there again.Thank you!
Cons: On the other side of the river. Neighborhood is residential and seems very safe, however walking back at 11 PM from Plaza Espania made me feel little uneasy just because there was no one on the streets. That's all. Maybe I felt this way because we were two women ( myself and my teenage daughter) walking and I my nature is that I am usually highly safety concerned.

Pros: Good sized rooms, nice bathroom. All very clean - and tea and coffee facilities which is unusual in Spain.
Cons: Some outside space should’ve made the hotel amazing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Was very clean. The staff was very helpful. She helped us to reserve flamingo tickets and showed us good restaurant nearby. The lighting in room was not in order, she immediately came up and let us move to another room. Everything was managed properly. The size of the room was good. Quite spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Seville.
Cons: The location is a little far. We need to walk 15-20 minutes to the church. This is fine for us because we rent a car. It is better to have a hotel with packing.
6.0 Good
Cons: We are two tall adults too large for two sngle beds pushed together. Had to call the front desk to get the AC turned on. Sometimes it was turned on and other times nothing happened. When it was turned on it was turned off a few hours later prompting another call to the front desk.

Pros: Modern and brand-new (?) luxuriously furnished suite. We only stayed one night as we wanted to be close to the airport for an early morning takeoff. The place exceeded our expectations. Also worth mentioning is the team of the outdoor restaurant that showed extraordinary care and interest in their clientele. Was a real pleasure staying in this hotel and enjoying an evening meal.
Cons: Can't think of one.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room! Breakfast buffet was excellent, good value for money. Staff did there best to help were they could, much appreciated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very modern and comfortable room. Good size with a large bed and lounge area. Very nice. The city is easily accessible by train, and the station is a short 1 min drive from the property (plenty of free parking at the station).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is fine, enough parking space for free. It is close to the metro station (by car not longer then 5 minutes if not even less). At the metro you can leave your car for free. Metro to the city center and back costs 3€. At the metro station is also a supermarket, where you can get a hot meal for fair price.
Cons: The kitchen is ill equipped, only 2 plates, 2 glasses, tea cups and tableware for 2 persons. There is a note, you can ask for any other stuff at the reception(?). So it is hard to cook anything if there isn't any kitchenware. Breakfast costs too much, 11€/person. Few hairs on the floor less would be great, otherwise seems the apartment clean and big enough for 2.
9.3 Excellent

Pros: The location was great - it put you in the middle of the action without being busy or noisy. They had bicycles to loan which made it extremely easy to get around. The breakfast looked great but we opted to go out to different places each day rather than eat in.

Pros: The front desk staff was amazing at helping to book a flamenco show for us prior to even arriving.

Cons: Parking entrance is narrow. Breakfast is normal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location! The breakfast! The staff was awesome! The beds were so comfortable!
Cons: While I’m sure the bidet is a welcome touch for some, the location was awful. It was at the entrance to the shower. And for a small, but overall comfortable room, the space is wasted.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The comfy bed
Cons: It is tooo tight , we barely had space to put our luggages
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room & bath were big. Bed great. Quiet until 9am. Rooftop patio was fantastic. Supurb view of lit cathedral. Location very close to cathedral, alcazar and bull ring. Many good surrounding restarunts. Super value. Would go back in a heartbeat.
