Excellent value for money, plenty of typically spanish restaurants closeby, nice room and bathroom with whirpool in the bathtube. Very honest breakfast. The restaurant is closed on Monday. Easy to park the car.
Staff was very nice and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Restaurant is good and not too expensive (I had for dinner a huge dish full of grilled vegetables, a big salad with letice, tomato, sweet corn, tuna, eggs and sparragus plus a cup of tea, all for 20 euros VAT included. It was enough for two). Most important: This hotel has its own parking (I only recommend it for small cars. But There is a big public parking very close in next street)
Central position of hotel
Entrance to car park very narrow. No restaurant/bar open at night, nothing to say breakfast times.
Visited El Escorial
The room was really nice, everything was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was good with lots of choices and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located only a couple of hundred meters from the bus station and close to the famous monastery of San Lorenzo.
Some of the staff, even receptionists spoke only Spanish, which is a bit strange since they welcome people from all over the world and have a natural heritage on their doorstep, attracting a lot of different visitors.
Conveniently close to the City centre and 10mins from the Palace.
The hotel was nice & clean & nice little town. Easy walk to everything.
They need to have the availability for late check out if applicable for the traveller...
