This hotel was Great.... a long time ago. Now is like a ghost hotel. You should see the limousine in the garage (dirty and not be used for ages). Poor breakfast. Rooms very dirty (walls, ceiling), Doors almost broken, Swimming pool with broken tiles and water 15 cm lower than its should be. Staff not speaking English (Especially the afternoon receptionist). Stay away from this hotel. its the worst hotel i stayed in Italy. Photos of the hotel are very deceiving.
It was in the same hotel as the wedding we attended. We found the staff generally less than friendly, although the elderly waiter in the restaurant was extremely helpful. The fitments in the room wre broken (no cover for the strip light in the bathroom), broken ceramic beaker.
The location was very good for those who went there to visit padre pio. Very good parking. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size. There was a smell in the room. It might have been the cleaning detergents. But it wasn't that welcoming when one walked into the room. There was not much choice for breakfast.
That the location was very convenient to the Padre Pio Shrine No air conditioning, unhelpful staff, bad room and a broken and dirty infant cot.
Location was good. There was a huge wedding celebration taking place on the afternoon and all through the evening and therefore we had no dinner available to us. That was a major disappointment. I thought the front desk staff on check out was less than friendly. She also spoke not a word of English. This is not acceptable in a 4-star hotel catering to foreign tourists.
Reception staff was very helpfull and also the barman was friendly! The Hotel is over rated, the people serving in restaurant were fine with me but very rude with groups of people not speaking italian. (my first language is italian). How can you be a 4 star hotel if nobody in the restaurant speaks spanish neither english? How can they demand people coming from other country to understand their rules if not even a single sign is in different language.
Good location for reaching nearby attractions on the peninsula. The walls were incredibly thin. You could overhear conversations and movements in adjacent rooms. Also, the balconies are shared. This infringes on privacy and safety.
it was clean spacious and service was good.the gardens were beautiful and the hotel was so central.a delightful place to stay.
This hotel was outside the main city center. The hotel staff were fairly polite. The rooms were small and the bathrooms even smaller. Not very comfortable. Too expensive for the quality of rooms/beds.
It was quiet. No one bothered you and the rooms were always spotlessly clean
friendly staff--good comfortable bed--easy parking limited breakfast--worst of our stay in Italy
Stayed at hotel for 3nights,did'nt speak a word of italian and the staff were very helpfull and courtius.a nice family run hotel
it was a family run hotel and some of the family were lovely. The cappucinos were great and the simple breakfast was good. Two of the waiters were very rude, so much so we only ate there for two nights; the bed linen was shabby ; the beds were like fold down camping bedsd and the mattress needed renewed badly, the phrase roller coaster would not be out of place; the noise was terrible. We were next to what seemed to be a lift for bottles and kitchen deliveries; the smellof smoke and a general low standard care
Possibly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Will be recommending it to anyone visiting the area and would be delighted to return. Fabulous!
The Hotel D'Addetta is one of the nicest small hotels we visited in Italy. Family atmosphere, very accomodating and great service. Una bella albergo! Nothing. It was all good.
very helpful owner could not be more helpful
The staff were very friendly and more than happy to help and advise. It was in a good location and was very clean. Comfort, location, No.
Ver very nice hotel!!! It is very close the San pio's Santuary
the bed is comfortable and the room is big.
Aircon didn't seem to work very well and that would have made it a bit more comfortable for 4 people in a small room.
Very clean. No frills. No staff at desk upon arrival, waited outside for ages, we did not have a phone. Breakfast-all wrapped up cakes-not nice.
The employee was very nice as we arrived late and he picked us up with car. The room was very quiet. Very near san pio's church, just 10 minutes away. Poor breakfast, there's only one person who could speak english and wasnt very available
Comfortable rooms with own bathrooms and within easy walking distance to the Churches
freedom to come and go at all hours. no air con but portable units available for extra charge
the hotel was basic accomodation very close to san giovanni rotondo about a five to ten minute walk ( up a steep hill)staff were freindly and helpful.
very clean, great value for money, would definately stay here again too far to walk uphill to padre pio, but taxi was only 7 euros between 4persons.
The room is fairly new and Daniella was quite helpful in giving information about the events as well as the bus schedule and bus stop location. It is about a walk 10 - 15 uphill walk to the sanctuary and will be tough for older customers. The shower is a bit cramped causing me to bump the handle. Water leaked from the shower into the bathroom floor due to a faulty seal.
An extremely well run and very friendly host - situation surperb No
It was extremely clean and very friendly. It had the quality of a hotel with the homeliness of a bed and breakfast. Good location close to town centre and Padre Pio centre. Nice balconies outside rooms
the room was very clean and I slept very well because was very qiute. The breakfast was good. there was no problem for the parking
Surprisingly very clean and helpful staff at that price. Great breakfast too in a spacious dining room No Internet, now a necessity for every B&B
Excellent service, lovely room, friendly owner, and all round enjoyed the hotel. No complaints.
Very friendly and obliging owner Daniela who took care of everything from getting us umbrallas to getting breakfast ready for us at 5am. Very near Padre Pio's shrine (about 15 min walk). The parking facitlities in the hotel is rather steep. Hence I parked outside.
very quit and the staff very friendly very far from Father Pio church more than 800 meter
The hotel manager was very courteous and was nearby in the vicinity of the hotel in case we needed any help. The room was clean. The lady in charge of the hotel was very willing to help in any way she could to make our stay an enjoyable one. If I visit San Giovanni again I would stay at Villa SantaCroche. Nothing was to our dislike.
the price and air conditinong no
Genuine friendleness of the family and staff.Son insisted on driving us into the centro storico and would not take money. Rooms absolutely spotless. Will write to Hotel to personally thank. Distance from Basiliaca but quality compensated. Will definately stay there again and strongly recommend same to friends.
Clean, modern, comfortable, nice staff and good food. It is quite a distance from the bus going to Foggia.
Charming friendly staff, a relaxed and delightful hotel - a rare treasure where the customer was treated as king. Extras' i.e. bar were very fair and reasonably priced Room was a little small, however typical of Italy
The staff goes out of their way to assist you, they even picked me up from the bus station when I arrived late at night (did not want to charge me). Its a small quiet hotel with very basic services. Rooms are also very basic. One computer with internet behind the check-in counter where you can use the internet for free, small bar and restaurant. Food was ok. Price was right for what it is. Is not as close to the Sanctuary as mentioned in the advertising materials. Although its only a 5-10 minutes walk to the back side of the new church there are a bunch of other hotels that are closer to the Sanctuary.
Best Cappuccino in Italy. Good dinner Yes, the hotel is locked at night. We were locked out after attending the Easter Vigil Mass at 11 PM. We came back at 2 AM and was unable to get into our room. It was cold at night. We buzzed and buzzed and no answer. We were locked out for 5 hours. The hotel staff did not speak any English and didn't understand my complaint and made me pay for the night anyway. Apparantly in Italy if you leave the hotel you need to give the room key to the front desk so they know that you are out and not in your room.
Welcome from staff. Noisy. Guests of lower floors can listen everything from upper rooms. The owners should put carpet on the ceramic floor to avoid this big inconvenience of the hotel.
room was large and spacious. staff were very friendly. it was very quiet and restful. perhaps the breakfast could be improved.
At la solaria we found a nice and quiet hotel . the staff felt family like and helped us out with a smile. will recommend it to my friends no
location was perfect, next door to padre Pio church, and in the middle between san marco in lamos and san giovanni rotondo where my wives relatives live, also staff were helpful for directions and local knowledge. hotel, location, staff, all were perfect
Excellent location, and extremely friendly, helpful staff. A two minute walk from the sanctuary of Padre Pio so ideal for this purpose.
Close to the Padre Pio Danctuary The English breakfast at eight euros per head should have been much better
Absolutely nothing. The hotel was hard to find, when we did get there only an 80 year old man at the desk who could not speak a word of english. No air conditioning and very old noisy rooms. Towels were more like dish cloths, and when we wanted to go for a swim they had no towels and told us we had to wear bathing caps or could not go in. Breakfast was very poor in quality and selection. Worst hotel ever.
Very close to religious site of St Padre Pio. Excellent food. Very friendly staff
perfect location, easy to reach it, good parking facility, only 200 m from S,Pio Sanctuary. Good restaurant with helpful staff.
Staff very friendly. We got on well with them and one member included my daughter by taking her out. Bedrooms changed everyday which was good. Could do with a free shuttle bus to the church twice maybe three times a day as very hilly and alot of elderly people do book into the hotel! Maybe could do with sunlounger pillows for the sun beds by the pool!!
The staff were friendly and helpful with excellent facilities . Ask for the aprtment if staying here. No, this is an excellent hotel with great staff. Make this your first choice
Friendly staff. Helpful with our motorbikes (garage). Without a car too far away from the center of the city
Basic accomodation only. Staff did not present in a professional manner especially in the dining area. Although the hotel stated it had airconditioning they said that since it had been cooler over the past few days they didn't turn it on, therefore the rooms were hot and stuffy.
Excellent location to sanctury. Very welcoming. We had a great time
