A family hotel with nice staff and excellent cuisine, the good choice for skiers (the ski resort Schwemmalm some 3 km away easily accessile by car or skibus) as well as their children (the park for tobogganing just opposite to the hotel). Next time we would appreciate the wi-fi spot also outside the reception and restaurant ;-)
Beautiful location with balcony overlooking the promenade and the river, and a view of the mountains. I enjoyed going to sleep to the sound of the river. Fantastic food in the Fino restaurant and a lively bar/nightclub, Sketch. Noise from the nightclub can be disturbing on the riverfront side, especially with the balcony door open on Tuesdays and Saturdays if you're trying to go to sleep early.
Great location, right on the promenade. The room I stayed at was not one of the boutique-style, it looked rather dated, but still, it was comfortable and clean. Friendly staff, standard breakfast. Underground parking 200m away costs 12 euro per day, which is not bad for such a centrally located hotel.
Staff was very friendly, atmosphere is very relaxed. We had booked bed and breakfast only but ate the half board menu on the first night as it was pouring outside. Excellent value for money and good cooking.
good location, 2- and 3-hour passes to Terme pools free of charge, good breakfast, and priced far less than the Hotel Therme just across the river. small room, lower floor thus noisy - if I return I'll ask for a different kind of room.
In fact the Hotel has a very good location close to the river and down town. It is not a 4 star hotel that is the point! Bella posizione vicino al centro e al fiume ma non è un 4 stelle. Breakfast poor - at 9:00 am everything was finished from the buffet. It is not a 4 stars hotel. La colazione a buffet alle 9 aveva un tavolo quasi vuoto.

The closness to the Spa Parking is a little bit tight
The spa facilties
the use of the therme and easy way of getting there via the bathingrobe tunnel.the location is great and the hotel is well designed and makes it a pleasure to stay there.
The design of the Hotel and the very specious, modern, room (room nr 323). The spa facilities of the Hotel combined with the Termen is unique. Cleaning iof the room can be much better, a lot of dust shows how little time is spend on this subject.
restaurant + receptio n policy about reservations in other restaurants
the vicinity to the therme and spa; the location in Meran, the design features of the hotels itself.
The best of the Italin design in every day use, everythere. The breakfast, the hotel guests.
Excellent design good services wonderfull athmosphere
Was a little bothersome to have music playing in the patio area past 10pm.
Well-designed sunbathing & pool area. Good room. This hotel is the hardest place to find in the world! I spent 3h 36min's & 40 miles (64km) driving around the Meran(o) area looking for it! I stopped 6 times to ask directions & no-one had heard of it, or the street it was on. When you enter Meran(o), there are signs to every hotel, except this one! I only found it after I asked at another hotel! This hotel is in a suburb of a large town, although it has mountain views, it's not in the mountains, or a resort town.
Room and bathroom spacious (maybe a handicap room?) and there was a small patio, but ours was in the inside so it overlooked the parking lot. Clean and the free parking is great. The hotel location is perfect- about 2 blocks from the main downtown area with shops and restaurants. Breakfast was standard- yogurt, breads, scrambled and poached eggs, pastries, and packaged cookies/breads, but great view of the lake from your breakfast table. Wireless internet worked well. We didn't know there was a gym, sauna, massage. Overall the hotel seemed a bit expensive, but I suppose it's on par with the others in the area. Next time I might try to save by not staying right on the lake... especially since our room didn't have a view.
Clean and luxurious Too expensive restaurant
Hotel was newly renovated. Beautiful sun terrace and wellness center. The hotel advertises that dog's are welcome. They don't tell you that dogs must stay in room at all times. They are not allowed in gardens or inside restaurant.
the staff was great, the breakfast simply wonderful. Nice restaurant - very cool dishes, but you also get full at the end! Wine list one of the most complete
Great Hotel, friendly staff, the perfect place to relax. Room was modern and clean, spa is great, as is the outside pool. Food is top grade.
People were woderful and the breakfast was great every thing was fine, the only thing was the outdoor pool was not heated and that was one of the reason we went there. The indoor pool was small and not so good for swimming.
Very friendly staff, gentle, witty, very obliging with everything. Romantic and very relaxed athmosphere. Excellent food and wine. Nice and quiet SPA-facilities. Not too big hotel. Great stay, I would love to go back there. Maybe I would turn off the background music during meals in the restaurant.
Large airy rooms, well furnished and well maintained, siting and staff friendliness Overrated and overpriced fixed menu (very limited) restaurant with mixed and limited ability to cope with dietary needs, Thursday night fixed and expensive menu degustion (140 euros for 2 with no choice). Breakfast buffet not replenished as items run out,
We absolutely loved the location, facilities, our two balconies and our room! Great starting point for activities in and around Meran. The free bikes were an extra bonus! We stayed on the first floor and it got really noisy in the mornings around 7.30am at the latest because of the maid dragging her trolley over the tiled floors in the halls and guests heading down for breakfast. We didn't mind too much as we were up early every day anyway.
This hotel was amazing - a very comfortable hotel, wth everything as advertised, great staff and a beautiful location, Merano was a great place to visit.
