Very relaxing and restful, very authentic surroundings, beautiful environment and delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. We were very satisfied.
Lovely setting, peaceful and a short walk from the centre of town Restaurant not open to residents for evening meals, although we knew this before booking
Every family passing between Rome and Naple should stay here. I stayed in 5 star in Rome, but this hotel was better than that one. The beds were excellent, and towels and all the bed clothes are just like new. Even thought its location is a little distant from the highway, it's setting has its own touristic points. Old castle-renovated rooms with high ceiling and clean towels. Even its corridor has its own style. There was nothing to complain about. Highly recommand. There were only one kind of juice in the breakfast. Hope there are more. For everything else, 100% satisfied..
again , the staff, the location for day tripping to the south of Italy; the old world feel; the price, the restaurant was inconsistent and not always open. Would love to have a bathtub available; but this in no way inconvenienced our stay
Nice old building, full of charm, beatiful village, clean and nice rooms. Excellent view from top floor.
That it was within walking distance to the town. The hotel has an old world charm with alot of atmosphere. no
The staff was most friendly and helpful. The breakfast waws excellent wth a variety of options. The hotel and our room we're clean and comfortable. Lack of internet.
Accessability to an area I wanted to visit The sevice at breakfast. Not enough selection of food, in fact the food selection was very poor.
We had a nice sized room with windows on three sides of the building with views of the old city. Convenient to walk into the old city. The shower was really small - almost impossible to manoeuver in without either shutting off the water or pushing the doors open.
This is a very serviceable hotel/resort. Our room was spacious, clean and functional without being luxurious. The breakfast was poor. Overall the price at Euro 67 was just acceptable, but felt on the up side in comparison with other better hotels elswhere. The exterior is unprepossessing and the interior rather gloomy. For a hotel in a location for walkers one would have expected maps and other detailed information to be available or for sale. One map pinned to the notice board felt inadequate.
I was there in low season so I cannot say so much Poor breakfast, hope only cause is low season
Comfortable, traditional style but with modern facilities. Central location. The log fire and bar were particularly welcoming on a cold evening. The female staff should be careful about holding loud arguments and extended telephone converstions in public. The breakfast could have been a bit better for a hotel a this price.
Good facilities with an excellent restaurant, which was obviously popular with the locals. Our waiter suggested and provided for us an excellent meal for our final night in Italy. Future visitors should not be put off by the position next to a major road since facilities are sey well-back and with plenty of space. The modern decor in the main building was very interesting.
Calm relaxing location. Easy access. Warm friendly owners/staff, however we were the only guests the night we stayed.
View was spectacular. Room very clean, breakfast very good. Quiet and restful. No tea/coffee making facilities but I believe this is typical of all continental hotels
the location nothing
Extraordinary courtesy and service. Meals were excellent. Bathtub needed service.
The suite was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and well furnished. A lot of original art. The evening meals were wonderful. Our server was so gracious. We told him to bring us whatever food he would enjoy eating. He did not disappoint. Reception was very helpful. Given the hotel is rather remote, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of English the staff spoke. A wonderful surprise at the end of a three week trip. I thought it odd that the big screen TV in the dining room was on every evening as if it was our entertainment.
