The hotel lived up to its Bellavista name with commanding views of Lake Garda. You really need a car to stay here but as we drove to Italy that was fine. Good basic facilities with great views from our balcony. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel catering is aimed at the German market. We felt the continental breakfast was adequate but not to the standard we experienced in Austria/Germany/France. We only took one evening meal which was adequate but it was cheap compared to eating out.
Warm welcome and very helpful staff. Beautiful peaceful village setting. We had a tower room which was like a small suite with a delightful seating area and a super lake view. The sunsets were amazing! Excellent evening table d 'hote menu (didn't try the a la carte) and a good buffet breakfast. WiFi was intermittent but the staff tried their best to assist. Hot breakfast drinks were not hot enough though the friendly waitress rectified the problem promptly
quit and beautiful place , good location, excelent service
Excellent location upslope of a small hill away from the city but close to Garda lake with excellent view and panorama. Hotel facilities are excellent and breakfast was great. This weekend break gives us a really refresh experience: relax in the spa, swim by the pool. Stay in Garda also possible for a lot of excursions. Pillow a little bit hard but no essentially a problem.
too far from town centre, and no taxi's available
I just came back from the Boffenigo and loved it,hotel clean and tidy, food was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful.well recommmeded and didn't want to come home.....
The location and the hotel is very clean and comfortable The price is high
Privately run, friendly, relaxing, wonderful views, indoor & outdoor pools & gym. Limited dinner menu & too rushed.
Staff superb, Location excellent and facilities eg swimming pools first class. Nothing really . I would say that the rooms were a little small for the price but very comfortable
Most beautiful room, hotel lobbywith outside terrace, fantastic pool with bar, and incredible view of Lake Garda. NOTHNG
Friendly staff, excellent views, good food A little too far from Garda to walk
The facilities are excellent and if you want a quite location with spectacular views of Garda and the Lake it would be hard to beat. The room is spacious and the balcony large Having in excess of 30+ rooms it is hardly a small or boutique hotel. A request has to be made to the management to have the heating/cooling activated. Corridor door slamming and inter room noise was a problem.
Location restaurant closed on night we wanted it for my partners 50th birthday and piano night in bar was cancelled
Breakfast very good Main restaurant was closed down due too few guests
The situation was excellent. The dining area was very pleasant with a lovely outlook. Staff were absolutely first class. Rooms were ok but small. Bathroom was very good with an excellent shower and nice towels. I would like to have had access to a lounge area with comfortable seating as the bed room was rather small and the balcony also rather small, but attractive. The hotel advertised a tv satellite facility but the BBC World station had very poor reception and was unwatchable.
We loved the hotel location, the town the hotel was in and the general decor of the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept on. Balcony and view was also great. The hotel bar shut early, and staff didn't seem very flexible in the bar. The hotel seemed to cater much more for German visitors, as the staff seemed to understand German more and all TV channels on the television in the room were either Italian of German.
Very nice hotel at a very beautiful location. We had a balcony with lake view. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Parking was tricky. The hotel is located on the water front. Parking is reachable by golf cart.
I like the relationships with all the staff .The breakfast was very good.
Food and friendly staff No
Attentiveness of staff. Excellent restaurant. Very good choice and quality at breakfast. Good Rooms, excellently appointed. A minor issue but the technology (e.g. air conditioning and sound systems in rooms) was too complex.
beautiful scenery and waterfront outlook, helpful staff luggage was difficult to get to hotel ,but, that was due to location
The setting was wonderful and the breakfast selection excellent. The gardens and hotel surroundings were just beautiful. Staff were helpful and reasonably pleasant. The room did not really compare with the pictures on the website- a little disappointing. The bathroom of our room was really very small and compact.
we were made to feel very welcome at all times. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble;a member of the kitchen staff even offered to get up early to make our breakfast as we were leaving very early one day to go to venice. The sheets and towels were changed every day! The breakfasts were very good.
Cleaness, accessbility, quiet Amazing: it was the first time in all my life that I have been charged 2 Euros for a simple glass of water
I enjoyed the scenery of Lake Garda. The Lake was beautiful and so were the mountains.
It was very close to the water. The pool was nice and not too crowded when we used it. The air conditioning in the room was very welcome. Although the room was cool with air conditioning, the reception, bar and restaurant area were too hot. I think air conditioning was on but because all the doors and windows were open it was hot and stuffy inside. Restaurant menu limited.
Pleasant, attentive staff, gorgrous views, convenient location, nice restaurant. no
Ideal location to beautiful town of Torri del Beneco. Most comfortable bed I ever slept in.Staff always very helpful especially the receptionist Marie Rose. Nothing was too much trouble for her. A little variety in the breakfast would be welcomed when staying a week. Bring swim shoes if you want to swim in the lake. The jacuzzi in the pool was not turned on although peak season doesn't finish until Oct and this was the 1st week in Sept.Don't always expect the local bus to arrive on time, or take the lenght of time specified. We had to get a train to Venice 2hrs later than planned because of traffic and the bus arriving 40mins late.
The hotel was clean friendly everything that is needed is available, no problems what so ever. no, everything was fine.
Very nice hotel, good location, professional staff, great breakfast.
We had a fantastic view over Lake Garda from our room and the food was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom was rather narrow
View from the room is great! Close to the town with restaraunts, but at the same time the place is more tranquil and quite than hotels in the centre. Parking is available. Parking is rather small. In general, the hotel is a little overpriced, though still very comfortable.
Staff very educated and willing to help. Very good location. Parking quite tight.
Hotel staff, especially reception, were extremely helpful. The cleaners timed the cleaning well, coming in when we were at breakfast and when we returned, our room was spotless. The hotel is a lovely relaxing place to enjoy with a wonderful view and a great location right next to the lake. We enjoyed every minute of it and have recommended it to everyone back at home. The only thing we would comment on is the selection of food at breakfast. Even though the cereal was lovely, there wasnt much of a variety of hot food. This wasnt something we disliked, just a suggestion to put more of a variety out at breakfast. The evening meals were lovely.
It was lovely and warm - noticeable as it was very cold outside. All the staff were friendly.
Location excellent, quiet hotell near beach. Typical summerhotell. Weather made it impossible to use pool and terrazze!! - but that was not the fault of the staff!! However: maybe some of them could be better in english so they could give more info about what was going on - got info from family at home about the wine festival
The location to Lake Garda and the relaxed atmosphere of the Hotel also parking available
My wife and I loved staying at your hotel. In fact it was one of the highlights of our overseas trip. It was modern, very well situated with views of beautiful lake Garda and only a three minute walk to the town of Garda. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our computer and one of the female staff volunteered to help us. The gourmet food was very good and plentiful. I could not fault this hotel. Nothing
Staff very friendly, good english at reception area, rooms very nice and very clean, Selection for breakfast very good also. Selection available for dinner was very limited and did not like it, also snack by poolside very limited.
a very welcomming comfortable hotel with excellent staff access onto a busy road and steepness of access
Great location, handy to have parking too. Rooms v comfortable and clean The fruit salad at the breakfast buffet wasn't fresh fruit. It was from a tin. Otherwise breakfast was nice
Location and accomodation are great, amazing view.
I like the sit. of the hotel. Nice view and sports facilities. Good place for kids. I was at this hotel 2002 when it was new. It has became a little shappy and the col. of the house and inside has been changed for the worse. Also you have to eat from the bourd ... you dont have a menu to choose from.
Location was excellent, food was good and plentiful, Bar was not that easy to get a drink from as it was understaffed in the evening and the drinks were relatively expensive.
the fact that it had a swimming pool it never had any shops close by
Comfortable compact hotel close to lake, Garda centre and ferry terminal
Location was perfect for Garda with the lake, promenade and old town just outside. Breakfast was very good, pools ( outside nice and indoor great feature ) were great for relaxing and front desk staff very friendly and helpful. We booked a superior double and were given a junior suite. We thought it was an upgrade and had to pay for the difference at checkout. It was worth the extra expense and would have preferred that the change in the room be fully explained when we checked in. A small brochure/map with the facilities would have been helpful as a first-time guest.
The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfasts were excellent and everywhere was spotless. The pool was good and overall the ambience encouraged you to relax which is what you want on holiday. Our room was a superior room and I feel did not live up to the expectations. It was plain with old fashioned furniture. The curtains had small holes in them and the Tv was not modern. For the amount charged every night for the room it should have been better. I am comparing it with rooms of a similar price in Very good London hotels.
Clean, polite well dressed staff, food, pool its huge!!,needed a english speaking doctor, the one the receptionist recommended was excellent, well done everyone
Size of the room, balcony and bathroom. Nice views and quiet location. Very good breakfast buffet. Too many rooms and apartments, impersonal treatment at restaurant; we had to sit at a drafty table ,were not asked if we preferred one at the back of the restaurant. We ate à la carte, waited for an eternity to get a dessert card as we wanted to choose between the good choice on the menu card, but nobody came near our table. Later on, we were told that we had to take a dessert from the buffet, which was almost at empty at that time.
Location is excellent, very central. Very helpful staff.
Very safe, family atmosphere there, also their continent breakfast time is quite stretched.. Very inconvenient to get to downtown.. free shuttle bus is not punctual, and you have to turn back to hotel before 7:30pm if you are not ready to pay a taxi.
very nice surroundings, Distance from the town of Garda, decor quite dated and dark
location no openable window in the room
I liked the location of the hotel & the views of the lake. The staff were very friendly & helpful.Good breakfasts.
Enjoyed a very good meal at the restaurant; Good location just away from Garda but with views of the lake It felt a little utilitarian in the public areas, but room fine; hand held shower in bath not as convenient as proper shower cubicle
Location is perfect - away from the crowds but still close to town. The breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was very nice. The music from the pool area was a bit too high and went on late every night.
Natural valley tree Not 24 hours service for check out!
We had stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and found it very much as before but with a very much larger swimming pool (excellent). Everything about the hotel was just as good as we remembered it. Food is excellent value. Location is very convenient for the lakeside and old town and also for bus transport.
Although the decor is a little old fashioned the room was clean, the air con worked well and the staff were attentive. The pool area was excellent and free parking in secure car park. It's going to need some redecoration soon.
I really liked the swimming pool, and the surrounding area. Breakfast was good, and the staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained by cleaning staff. The location was excellent. The rooms were quite small and the sytle was very old-fashioned.
good location, nice room the breakfast was horrible!
Staff was very helpfull with whatever we needed. Very good service. The hotel was not 200 meters from lake as advertised. Price online was the same as walk in. The hotel is quite busy and quite noisy on the weekend. It was impossible to sleep past 7am because of it on the Saturday we were there (stayed 4 nights). Nicer during the week. I also found hotels right on the lake for 40 euro ( paid 51) but did not check the rooms. I would still stay here. Good value.
The hotel staff is friendly and the atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing. The car is easy to park in the parking building. There is a safe place to leave a bicycle. The swimming pool area is clean and relaxing.
Very convenient location. The rest is just basic, but satisfactory. Very small room. Blankets should be replaced immidiately (they are really outdated and they give a low cost hostel dormitory atmosphere). The lagguage space on the top of the wordrobe was extremely dusty. But if you don't big expectations, it's OK.
The hotel is very conveniently located near to the bus station, shops, restaurants and the lake front. The bedroom had all the basic facilities required and was kept very clean. The staff were generally pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool is lovely but rather a strange underground route in order to reach it. Breakfast was nice with a good selection. The bedroom balcony overlooked a municipal car park with no view. The smoke from the residents on the balcony in the next bedroom, kept wafting into our bedroom and was very unplesant. The bedrooms are very small and both the bedrooms and the public rooms are rather shabby and dull. Little fresh fruit was available at breakfast.
The pool was much bigger than those of other hotels which we could see. There was also a more private garden area which was quieter than being next to the main pool. Also the hotel arranged transfer to Brescia airport at the end of our stay by taxi for only 6 euros each. It would have taken a lot longer and been more expensive had we tried to organise this ourselves. We found that the beds were a little uncomfortable and the walls quite thin. In the mornings we could here lots of knocks on doors as other guests were going down to breakfast. Sometimes it sounded as if our door was being knocked on but it wasn't.
The pool is in a beautiful setting and is a good size and has 2 jacuzzis. Very easy to get to from bus stop. The room smelled damp, the carpet was damp.Furniture was tatty and dull. Room quite small. But clean, and beds were comfortable.
We relaxed and enjoyed the pretty town and lake and visited Bardolino. As we left on Monday morning we didn't have as much time to enjoy the Monday market as we'd have liked. The hotel staff, especially the waitress at breakfast and the bar staff were very friendly - an excellent weekend break.
The superb harbourside position, good service and excellent food. None
Great position in town close to restraunts, room was very clean and staff very helpful. Close to Garda and bardolino (10 mins in a taxi) Not many lake ferries through the day, so had to use taxis and local bus to get to main ferry places.
The majority of staff were extremely friendly and service oriented. The restaurant is good. The view from the hotel is gorgeous, and you are away from the traffic (and people!) jams down at lake Garda. The garage can be accessed by a Fiat 500 but hardly by larger cars.
The interior design is new and pleasant; located close to the center; has nice balconies with a view to the lake. It is mentioned that the hotel has parking, but it is a public one and not private. even though it is only 30 meters from the hotel, it is not plesant when raining. In addition, the stuff was not pleasant (besides the owners who are charming) and got very angry if one had a comment on the hotel and service.
Very kind staff who is prepare to fulfil your wishes during a whole day, simply but very tasteful three-courses dinner for a great price, beautiful location with a romantic wiev on the mountains, lake and castle (from the front side rooms). I appreciate to be more fresh fruits for breakfast, specially during the season.
the staff were friendly, the rooms were always spotless, cleaners very friendly also, nice quiet hotel the breakfast could have been a bit more varied, the residents bar didnt stay open
relaxed atmosphire, freindly staff ,good food, good accommendation
All the staff were friendly and helpful. Good location near the castle. Garage parking nearby (20m)-hotelier kindly escorted us there -kept the car cool as below ground. 20 euro deposit required. Nice atmosphere. Good views of Lake Garda from room. Easy to locate the hotel using local signs. More detailed description on the print-out on how to get to the hotel.
Wonderful location. Helpfull staff. Very convenient car park. Reasonable breakfast.
Calm and quiet hotel in short walking distance from the Garda lake. Very friendly staff makes the stay an enjoyable one.
Hotel Pace is beatiful and peaceful hotel near the city of Torri del Benaco ( 500m) and beach (200m). Rooms were tidy and big balcony with nice view to the lake was great! You couldn't get fresh, aromatic cafe on breakfest. Instead of that they serve quite bad-tasting cafe form the automatic. Also the material of towels was poor quality.
the rooms were very spacious the hotel is located in a nice position for views if on a front room were excellent and reasonably quiet the breakfast was good to English not to good
nice view breakfast was not so nice. Fresh fruits and variety of cheese and lunch meats were missing.
