Pros: Amazing gourmet dinner experience. Also enjoyed sampling the ale from their own microbrewery.
Pros: Breakfast was a mess, and overall price for a historic room and a 3-course meal in the restaurant is too pricy.
Pros: Apart from the nice location with a view over the bay, the dinner at the restaurant was amazing and the breakfast with many homemade products gave us a perfect start in the day.
Pros: Very clean rooms and comfortable beds.
Cons: A tad expensive considering it’s merely a night stop between locations.
Pros: Though breakfast did not start until 8am, they went that extra effort to make coffee for me at 5:30am. I love a place that works so hard to please its guests.
Pros: Nice hotel with garden and excellent restaurant. Close to the fjord and easy access to beautiful locations such as Briksdal. Good breakfast buffet. They have their own brewery with very good local beer.
Pros: Location very good. Good breakfast.
Cons: Old main building and front new building good looking and comfortable, but the 70's annex on the back (where we had our last minute booking room) was not ok, corridor was ugly cheap hostel like, and the view from the window was to the backyard where broken sofas and woodware was stored. If booking here again, would make sure that the room is not in this annex.
Pros: Interesting motif. Enjoyed the photos hanging around the restaurant. Great breakfast. We ate dinner there as well and it was excellent.
Cons: No iron or ironing board in room. Men working in the brewery were very noisy (we wanted to turn in early).
Cons: Though hotel has been modernized we were given a room in the old part of hotel - this room was in need of updating, not only bathroom etc but even the blinds were damaged and it was very difficult sleeping with so much light flooding the room. Food was a mix; dinner - starter was excellence but main course was a cheap cut of meat undercooked to the extent that it was difficult to cut it, let alone chew it.
Cons: I was disappointed with the Gloppen. Out of the five hotels we stayed in, this was my least favorite and most expensive. The room was clean, but the bathroom smelled of sewer; it was pretty bad. I ran the shower thinking it was a dried up drain, but it didn't help, so we kept the bathroom door closed. But, it was not pleasant when going in to use it. The pillows were also very worn and hard; they provided two pillows on the bed and one in the closet, and all three were terrible (time to invest in new pillows, Gloppen). Check-in was also the least friendly we've experienced in Norway. We received little information; the next morning no one was around to show up to breakfast either. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant because it was very expensive and the menu was a bit limited. We ended up at a local pizza place, which was a pleasant surprise.
When you stay at Innvik Fjordhotel - Misjonheimen in Stryn, you'll be by the sea, you'll be a 14-minute drive from Jostedalsbreen National Park. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great hotel with amazing staff right on the fjord shore. The pictures on booking.com do a de-service for this hotel in my opinion. It's a little bit old fashioned hotel but still wonderful! We booked for 1 night and stayed for 2
Pros: Nice rooms with beautiful view. Great breakfast!
Pros: This is a non alcohol hotel - this needs to made much clearer at the time of booking.
Cons: As above
Pros: Location and view from the room is excellent right on the Fjord.
Cons: Being summer and being a hotel I would have imagined that there would be air conditioning or atleast they could provide a table fan. However, i was told there is no way to cool the room to a bearable temperature. On the contrary the staff was rude and asked me if i am not used to the hot temperatures back home. Me and my wife had to leave the room and get back after sunset. Couldnt get good sleep as it was too hot. Very limited choice of restaurants/cafes in the area. have to drive 35km to stryn to get decent food. Breakfast options are very limited.
Pros: The stuff, the room, the breakfast, THE VIEW!!?
Pros: Location close to the glacier Breakfast included Free parking
Cons: Old standard Toilette flush was leaking Breakfast is rather rudimentary
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Friendly waitress. Right on the water.
Cons: Room had some elements that needed fixing
Pros: Helpful staff in restaurant.
Cons: Mould in shower. Food selection at breakfast very limited.
Pros: The location, next to the Fjord, and free parking.
Cons: The hotel is part of a Christian missionary chain. It is very basic, more like a B&B. There was an odd smell in the hotel and our bedroom. No restaurant, bar or alcohol served. The room was the very basic and the bathroom was not very nice at all - tiny. Stained carpet, rusty radiator, dirty balcony and chairs. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, soft and with a very thin mattress. All furnishings very old. Nothing extra provided in the room. Poor breakfast. Nothing in Innvik, just a cafe in a petrol station. We drove 40 mins to a town further up the fjord to have dinner. I would suggest you don't stay in this town - drive up to Stryn where there is more choice of hotels/restaurants. There are also a couple of other hotels en route to Stryn if you prefer. We couldn't wait to leave and checked out first thing. I informed the young man on duty, who was very courteous, about everything I have mentioned above.
Pros: Very good view. Room is clean. Breakfast is good.
Cons: Room doesn’t have small refrigerator, kettle and bar, just bed and table.

Pros: The man who own the hotel, a very nice and generous man who received us well, and we had a nice conversation with him..it was s pleasure to know him.. the hotel was nice and rooms were clean .. recommended
Pros: Cleanliness, the room had everything I needed. Beautiful view from the window. I was in the room with a deck which was amazing, but unfortunately, I had no time to enjoy it. The manager was helpful. Parking was good. Location great.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
Pros: The room had been recently renovated and was ery comfortable
Cons: Needed to keep muesli in stock for breakfast
Pros: The hotel is comfortable and clean. The proprietor was very warm and friendly.
Cons: They don’t have an elevator.
Pros: Location. Thats all
Cons: Very bad insonorisation Owner told me “you hear everything” once I had paid. You hear people in the corridor, door slamming, water in the neighbors. Internet wifi was bad, losing connections every 30-45 seconds.
Pros: Unpretentious but quite comfortable small hotel with good wi-fi. The room was great, spacious, good TV & wifi, underfloor heating in bathroom. The nearby town centre has some interesting architecture and a nice walk along the fjord mouth. Breakfast was Norwegian, a variety of cold meats, cheeses and bread, and if you wanted hot food too, the friendly manager offers to cook for you. Very good value and would recommend.
Pros: IN general good. Nice owner. Charming hotel. We were satisfied. Included dinner!
Cons: More clear information.
Pros: Comfortable room and beds, helpful staff, great location near center of town
Pros: Staff was really nice and helpful. Room was, really clean and comfortable. Especially with big pillows! Breakfast is not at all industrial like it was said ismn other comments. On the contrary, breakfast was a norvegian breakfast with many choice. Good location, 300 meters to the bus station.
Cons: Room is a little expensive but it's Norway. Add cereals could be cool at breakfast
