Clean & big enough room, good free wi-fi connection, well equipped bathroom (spacious shower cabin, hair-dryer, set of new towels), underground parking lot (good price), no surcharge for extra 4 hours of parking after check-out so we could leave the car at hotel with our belongings and do more city exploring, no business center but staff was helpful and kind to do some printing for us w/o extra charge. Noisy hotel especially from 7:30am when breaksfast is starting. I suggest wearing ear-plugs during night - otherwise you will hear your neighbours snoring or taking shower, etc. However, we learnt to travel with sound-stoppers and we avoid such troubles in any similar places :) Little chance to park in the street, narrow entrance to underground garage, if we came with Nissan X-trail we could have difficulty to enter.
friendly staff, excellent suggestions finding the place, sorting out the parking
Good Location. Spotless room and bathroom. Room was rather small for size of bed.
Our daily walking trip to the historic part of the old city (only 15 to 25 minutes) through the old city, visiting coffee bars, a choice of (small) restaurants and many stores. The room was quite small (but comfortable and very clean).
Good location and friendly staff
Helpful reception staff No
clean, excellent a/c, great breakfast. worth the money.
very help full staff, comfortable room, clean and well equipped, a little too far from the city, when you have a walking problem.
On day 2 many of the hot breakfast meals were not replaced at 10am when we and many after us came for breakfast.
breakfast was very nice finding your way around in the hotel
There was not one thing that was better than the whole stay. They did give us a room with a large terrace for the dog which was just great, overlooking the city of Seville.
Location of the hotel
The hotel is in a good location. The cost of breakfast is too expensive. Also, they shouldn't charge for the use of the internet.
Beautiful building, very close to the main sights in Sevilla. Our room was a bit too warm.
very convenient for shopping sightseeing and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful, valet parking a bonus. Room only adequate
Good central location, good facilities.
Really good, clean hotel with helpful staff
Very nice hotel, central location, our room was located on the top floor with a spectacular view on the cathedral.
Location, helpful and friendly staff Si..no hay bar! But, in summer I expect that the open bar on the roof is beautiful (wonderful view)
Silence and kindness of staff the way they cook the French fries has to be improved....
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly
The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel was calm and relaxing. The walk across the bridge into the heart of Seville was a bit long but there are lots of interesting sights to see along the way.
Very pleasant hotel in a non tourist area but easily accessible to the centre of Seville Air conditioning in room could be improved
Spotless, friendly staff, comfort of the rooms, and location in Triana district of Seville.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. It is located within easy walking distance to the Gaudi sites and also easy to access La Rambla and Catalunya. It's in a fairly quiet neighborhood. I would stay there again.
The Price was great, and the rooms were nice. The location was a little far from City Center
The staff was very helpful and the hotel was close to many amenities No
The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and bilingual. Parking on site at a reasonable rate a plus. Great " stuff " in the bathroom !!
Excellent all round service. The position of the hotel in the city was brilliant. I would definately stay there again. The meal in the restaurant was not the best, although the service was good.
Cheap price for an amazing hotel. Clean and very nice staff!
Although star ratings in some countries tend to be generous but it was really a very basic and a bit jaded for a 3star, The hotel markets its self as a boutique hotel, It most certainly is not.
Close to all attractions, swimming pool on the roof! The room was positioned on an inside courtyard so the natural light was limited, not a big deal, I guess you could ask for an outside position.
The location and the cleanliness were excellent. The breakfast was great each morning. None
Convenience for getting about in Seville. Room very quiet for city centre.
We enjoyed staying in this hotel - perfect location for walking to the more centrally located tourist destinations without being inundated with cruise ship imported visitors. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful in helping us navigate Seville as well as rent a car so we could venture to the coast. We booked this particular hotel because of the pool and rooftop options and when we arrived we found that it was closed until the end of June. Perhaps of no fault to the hotel, but the closure of this facility was definitely detrimental to the enjoyment of our stay and was not advertised very clearly when we booked the hotel.
The room: comfortable well-appointed and simple No shade around the pool. Having specifically booked the Becquer because of the pool (for my grandchildren) we couldn't use it.
pleasantly surprized lovely hotel very clean nice sized rooms good position in city close to all attractions lovely hot soft water very friendly staff wife thought bed was hard and could not ajust heating
being able to use the roof top pool and solarium
very clean.Comfortable beds, well furnished. NIce bathroom. loved the kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Lack of Bar in lounge
A smart hotel on the edge of the centre of Seville, near the river, which meant it was very quiet at night but all the main sights were within a ten minutes easy stroll. I enjoyed the hotel bar cafe in the foyer, which meant as a solo traveller I didn't need to use the restaurant and could socialise with the local visitors too. Also it had a kettle in the room for we British early morning tea drinkers. As with most hotels, a lot of noise transfers between rooms and despite it being November and not full, the Spanish visitors will eat late and will return home between 1.00am and 3.00am which can be difficult for light sleepers. Also the beds are very firm to the point of being hard with the solid spanish bolster style pillows, although they do offer a choice of pillow softness, which helps a little.
Very comfortable and quiet
Leaving the hotel The Staff.
The staff at the desk were exceptional-very friendly and willing to help-this was really very nice in experiencing our first travel overseas. No
The hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was perfect for our family of 4. It was sad that the way it was designed meant that we had a view of a wall which prevented daylight to come in.However, this was not a problem as we were sightseeing during our trip but just always had to have lights on. It was more than compensated for by the space we had and the relative quiet. The restaurant was fantastic - but not marketed enough it seems. The breakfast was excellent and we had an evening meal that was both very good value and of a superb standard. Why then are the staff so short tempered - perhaps the language barrier or boredom?
good location- but a bit hard to find when driving to get there for the first time especially with so many one way streets around! I think that with that price you could at least include continental breakfast and a kettle for warm water with tea+coffee with cups in the room
location - staff in bar very nice some reception staff unfriendly
The location was excellent. It's not in the heart of the touristic area of Sevilla, but I found that to be a plus. It still is in a historic part of Sevilla (Triana), with many local restaurants and nice places to discover. It's within walking distance to the main touristic attractions, but for eating I recommend you go where the locals go (try taberna Macuro, a few minutes walk from the hotel), Santa Cruz has tourist prices and choices. Also a big plus is the fact that the hotel is very quiet, you can really rest, but once you go outside you're in the middle of a very dynamic area. For a fee you can chek out at 18:00, which comes in handy if you have to catch a flight. Breakfast was rather expensive for Spain. Receptionists should brush up on their English.
The Hotel is very centrally located very close to main sights in Seville and bus station Staff although courteous need to be more conversant in English
bed very comfortable, location convenient in Trianna area, pleasant ten minute walk into town centre over picturesque Trianna bridge. quiet location, no street or traffic noise which meant could have window open. Restaurant menu was good, we ate there first night as tired and were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and presentation. . very clean room and bathroom. not really a dislike but a suggestion would be tea making facilities in the room.
Helpfull staff, clean and quiet room.
Good base for walking to main attractions in Seville. Buffet breakfast good and worth the price. Small functional room. Worth asking for quiet room away from main road which is very busy. Not easy to navigate way to hotel with one way streets, but at least its located on a wide road. Car parking arrangements are not on site and expensive.
nothing the service and quality of rooms where unaceeptable
Convenience of location, excellent service, cleanliness, decor, facilities. Room was quite small, but this is to be expeceted in a city centre hotel!
Comfortable and clean environment. Breakfast buffet had a good range of food. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Free internet in the lobby was useful.
The hotel's staff was speaking english (which is rare in Spain) and helped us in every question that we asked.
Excelent, frot desk was outstanding
The rooms were very comfortable with excellent facilities. The free mini bar was very good although we only used the water. The situation of the hotel was very close to everything we needed The air conditioning coule be abit more powerful.
A good location near the Triana Bridge. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast Not far from the bus station. Walking distance to the old town.
design of hotel..very modern and clean; excellent breakfast in a lovely clean and compact eating area, great bed with nice sheets; very comfortable lobby area with books on Seville, Islamic architecture, ceramics, tourism etc.; free internet; excellent location near major sites and the river; free minibar with nice selection...overall a very good stay...also, staff were very friendly, helpful and even assisted us in printing our boarding passes for our international flights
the room was small but very comfortable, clean, staff was nice, i liked staying there ...
Hotel is nowhere near Seville centre. If you stay here factor in 20 Euros a day for taxis back and forward to the city. Nothing particularly wrong with the hotel itself but nothing that stands out for recommendation either.
The location close to Isla Magica Dull and tired decoration
Nice hotel, a little out of town but great value. Very hard to find as it is Part of a stadium. Need really good directions
Nothing really The distance from the center of the city, tha fact that none there spoke good english
The hotel is really beatifull and the breakfast as well!!!! is far from the stop bus, i suppose is better for somebody with a car!
Very pleasant staff. Taxi into Seville 8-10 Euros desk booked for us. Very clean. Good parking. Environment outside a little intimidating at night (not conducive to walking) but taxi to and from Seville fairly cheap.
The location was excellent for me, as it was close to the facilities found on Isla Cartuja. The hotel is not easy to find, however, this is likely more a problem with the signage in Sevilla, and not with the hotel. Also, finding food nearby is difficult, as the location is rather isolated.
the size of the room and the bathroom, the buffet breakfast, and the personel the room smelled a litlle of smoke, even though i had asked for a non-smoking room. (there was an ashtray in it, so it was clearly a room for smokers)
the hotel was reasonable for the price offered Having had several conversations on the telephone with reception re the supply of a bed for a five year old, all knowledge of hese calls was denied by the man in question, poor public relations.
Good value for money, very good breakfast. We had read the rooms were small but were given a room for 3 people and there were 2 of us staying, so the space was good. Bed was a bit hard
Good location but access difficult with car. but this is an overall problem with Seville. A constant bad smell permanently in the room. The hotel staff said all the rooms suffered from this because there had not been rain. As hotel was full they couldnt move us.
Location in center of city I would have preferred two beds
We were in the old part of the city with lots of shops and restaurants surrounding us. The staff was very helpful, quick to provide keen advice on what to do and where to go. very good breakfast, Clean room. Thank you!!
It's location was great for the city and the Cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, cooked food including sausages and bacon, cold foods of ham and cheese etc and good coffee The air con was set to automatically come on when one entered the room and only blew cold air so we had to remember to switch it off straight away. It was November!
We were in the old part of the city next to Hercules square with lots of shops and retaurants surrounding us. The staff was very helpful, quick to provide keen advice on what to do and where to go. The pillows were rock hard, very uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny. We were there visiting the city with another couple, the city is so vibrant and fun that we stayed up until 3 am people watching, eating tapas, drinking sangrias and watching the young folks partying it up. By the time we made it back to the room we were so tired that we didn't let the hard pillow bother us. Extended stayers may need to figure something out.
The room was fantastic - clean, comfortable bed and great staff. The location was not ideal.
The price. The tranquilidad. It is a large hotel , therefore quite impersonal. But all ok. My room was very dark, but I was there in late autumn. Dark in hot summer temperatures is good, not so good in the cold weather. The location among grey and dirty streets. I know a better hotel quite closeby.
The entrance hall and the patio are nice and comfortable. Around the hotel there are numerous cafes. Contrary to what was written in Booking.com when I made my booking, this is not a 4-star but a 3-star hotel: 3 stars appear in two places on the forefront and on the letterhead of the hotel. The corridors and rooms would not get more than 2 stars in Central Europe – but criteria/standards may vary from country to country. A double room without even a little table? When you use a glass from the minibar, it is left on the fridge? I took it to the reception the 1st time believing it was a little oversight, but the following day it was just the same: dirty glass left on top of the fridge… And what about a TV screen hanged in a position from where you cannot watch the TV unless you stand at the entrance of the bathroom?
The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The walls were very thin and at night it was hard to sleep because of the noise coming from other rooms. The lighting in the rooms was poor. The restaurant had no menu in English. The English of the staff was generally poor.
Location, breakfast in a little garden Hard to find if driving
cleanliness of my room, brand new hotel n/a
Beautiful rooms, very clean, all amenities. Great location. The rooms get very hot on sunny days, even in early March -- staff told us the air conditioning does not work. If windows are left open you can not sleep as it is very noisy outside almost all night long. Do not stay here until the AC is repaired. Breakfast buffet is very mediocre, not worth the money.
Spledid. We were particularly pleased the hotel accepted our small Jack Russell dog which was actually the reason we selected it in the first place
Perfect stay and perfect staff. I will come back for sure! I liked everything.
The hotel is in an excellent location in Seville and the staff were invariably friendly and helpful. It is, indeed, very good value. Really, there is nothing one can criticise. In fact, when I go back to Seville, I will certainly stay in Hotel Inglaterra.
Location The shower flooded the bathroom and made the floor dangerous. Other guests had same problem.
Excellent location, attentive staff Breakfast was too pricy!
Excellent rate and room quality The person that checked me in was rude but the other people behind the desk were very helpful and pleasant; also the wireless and hard connection to the internet was not working
Facilities, central location mattress too hard
On arrival the staff were very helpful and courteous. The Rooms were Decorated to a High Standard and the location was close to all the noise but also far enough away.It was a shame there was no wiof it would have been nice to have wifi computer access
The Hotel is located not in Seville but in SanLucar; although this is only 15' from downtown Seville, in reality you have to take a bus which takes about 30'. But: the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, it leaves every 30' and once you're in Seville, you don't have to worry about parking spaces, but explore the city immeditately: all in walking distance. For the price and location, this is excellent value for your money. Great hotel with great amenities
Comfortable, spacious hotel with excellent selection for breakfast. Dinner menu poor choice, lack of English TV channels and internet access in rooms would be good.
The administrator did not know english or german. It was hard to comunicate with her.
Even if it was cheap (5 EUR), the breakfast was not so good (poor coffee, dry bread, bad ham...). Building is quite old.
Room was nice and big. Hotel staff was friendly. Easy to find and a reasonable good distance from Seville. Plenty of good free parking. There was a bus service right outside hotel but we never used it. Hotel was falling apart. A big bees nest outside one of the windows. Peeling plaster, water damage. The hotel needs serious upkeep. Breakfast was a bit pricey and the same everyday with no variety. At one time, there was a moldy nectarine sitting in fruit bowl.
Good value for money Poor shower facility
The rooms were generous and comfortable, staff helpful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is about 45 min by local bus from the centre of town which is a disadvantage but it is well priced. The location of the hotel from the centre of Sevilla could be a problem.
Good food, very good prices, nice rooms, great service. Thank you!
handy for stopover to portugal. lovely village worth going to,about ten minute walk from hotel. our second visit and not impressed.pool not in use due to over chlorination. shower not working. only one door open from bar to outside spaces, others all locked so had long walk and staff didn't come out so had to go to bar everytime.
The location and the laptop with wifi in the bedrooms. Bathroom and shower were of a high standard. I felt that we were staying at a hotel below the 4 star level which we were expecting. The room was quite small although adequate and the bed was uncomfortable. We were looking for a superior hotel and were provided with a hotel with basic facilities.
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Really enjoyed every minute of my stay. Very central and very clean. Staff was really nice and helpful. A total service with a smile. I think this would be my hotel for my future visits to Seville.
It has an excellent location near the cathedral and close to most activities and sightseeing. internet and a lap top were available in the room FOC. Staff were helpful and talk a very good English. We had a reservation for a triple room which turned to be same as the Family room (equipped with one twin bed and two deck beds). the deck bed was not that comfortable for an adult.
Professional, friendly service of staff. No tea/coffee making facilities.
The location is excellent for exploring the town centre. I liked the decor of the hotel and our room was very comfortable, not big, but it certainly was big enough for our one night stay. The power shower and a comfortable bed was a big bonus after a night in the town. The hotel description should mention that the parking is very tight and with height restrictions. Otherwise it was very convenient to be able to park at the hotel.
A computer for our personal use in our room.
Looked forward to going back after a full day and night in Seville to relax in the comfortable room and bathroom and to having a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. View from the room.
The location of the hotel was fantastic - very central but on a quiet side street. The family room with the bunk beds was a big hit with the children. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I expected some level of room service at a 4-star hotel, but there was none.
modern rooms, location
Charming building, centrally located, helpful staff, tastfully decorated Very small standard rooms, no place left to open a suitcase, all in all pretty expensive for the room given to us.
Great boutique hotel in a fantastic location. Easy working to everything in Seville. Excellent, knowledgable staff, breakfasts were some of the best we had in Europe. Roof top Solarium is also nice to use during the siesta time.
The Position of the hotel was good, the receptionist was professional and admired that she kept her calm when I requested to change room twice. On the webiste it looks much nicer and more modern.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room was very comfortable and nicely fitted out. We would fully recommend this hotel to anyone. Cooked breakfast was poor
Nice hotel, interesting design, clean rooms, good location. Small rooms (especially double bed rooms - prefer twin beds)
Style and location
The hotel was very comfortable & i having a bath aswell as a shower in our bathroom was lovely. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though we stayed within a standard room there had obviously been attention to detail. Very Comfy! Excellent location also. Would have liked the Jacuzzi to have been functioning on the roof ideally & would have made use of this.
beds were the most comfortable of my entire vacation, nice large w.c. valet parking should be offered since garage is not in the building
Clean quiet room Balcony from room was a good feature I cannot remember seeing on the website. Good to get out of the room and sit and overlook the city. Near major attractions
Perfect. Really had a great stay in this hotel. Hotel is really pretty with its simple warm design. I felt welcome since got into it. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I will definately go back to this hotel once i get back to this city. wifi is not free (6 euros per day).
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Good value for money The room we had was on the first floor. We had to keep the shutter down for privacy and this made the room quite dark. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the main centre but this was OK since we had good weather.
The perssonel attention. In special Manolo, the bell man, and The Bartender The Air Conditioner is the worst ever experienced
amazingly friendly and helpful staff/proximity to relatives top story room was hot and window opened on very noisy patio for air. No A/C that early in season. Had to use ear plugs to sleep.
Staff friendly and helpful, good clean room. Nice friendly bar on street corner that practically orders breakfast for you (fresh OJ, tostada and coffee < €7 for 2) if you don't want the full hotel breakfast. Occasionally noisy outside overnight
Great location for a city visit. Raining? Take your car out of the hotel's garage!
We are two tall adults too large for two sngle beds pushed together. Had to call the front desk to get the AC turned on. Sometimes it was turned on and other times nothing happened. When it was turned on it was turned off a few hours later prompting another call to the front desk.
Good location, nice room, good value for the money (as Sevilla is really expensive)
Great hotel! Had a very bid and confortable room, the staff was very kind. Also the location is great, a 10 min, walk to the old town with lots of shops and some restaurants nearby. Fully recommended!!!
Hotel has a good location, walking distance or short taxi drive to major attractions in downtown.
Great location, about a 6 or 7 minute brisk walk into the heart of the tourist district. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was "so so"
really good breakfast with everything you like incl. Spanish sparkling wine and freshly prepared bacon and eggs - despite what other stated Google maps found the hotel and it is quite easy to find (without GPS, only by using a street map)
The location was perfect for siightseeing and being close to cafes and shops. The room was a good size and the reception staff were very helpful. There was a lovely lounge on the 4th floor.but no bar or coffee facilities. When you return from sightseeing, that would have been welcome.
The hotel was very clean and the room was pleasant. The staff were accomodating because they changed the room for me to the same floor as my friends upon request. Thanks to Jose Angel.
Big, nice bathroom. Pillows, crappy pillows.
Excellent location near the city centre. Friendly efficient staff, clean and comfortable room. Slightly boring decor but otherwise fine. Only Spanish TV but then why would you stay in and watch TV in Sevilla
The easy location and the friendliness of the staff The window was a little small so the room felt a bit boxy, but it was otherwise comfortable.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect! Walking distance to everything-- Cathedral, Alcazar, Torre del Oro, very close to the Parasol (mushroom) and all the shopping areas. There is a very large multi-level department store just across the plaza that has everything. Restaurants are also everywhere. The only complaints we had was that the room was very hot when we first arrived and that the pillows were very thin.
location Room had smoke smell. Bed was pushed up against the wall. Light switch on the headboard meant that the light got turned on during sleep when arm accidently hit the switch. Breakfast was of poor quality.
Excellent location The beds were very uncomfortable
Location was good, within easy walking distance of all the attractions and the shopping. Free wifi which worked well The noise from other rooms was very distracting, there is no sound proofing, we could hear the showers and toilets being used in other rooms on our floor. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. For a city centre hotel, one would expect at least one TV channel to be in English. The bar and restaurant area on the fourth were very uninviting.
The location Bed not really confortable
Location was excellent on Plaza opposite main Corte Ingles department store with good nearby tapas bars and cafes. Easy walking distance to main attractions.. Rooms big and airy. Superb powerful showers. Free wireless internet in room. The listed tv programmes were not all available. No safe in room.
Excellent, friendly staff and management. Good food in the restaurant. And for an innercity location such as this, the ever-important flexible parking facilities. Highly recommended for any city-trip to Seville city center.
It was very central and very clean. Room was very small and stuffy. for this price range and quality.
We could not find the bar no signs
Very comfortable and cozy hotel, great location. Good value for money. tight parking
Cheap Hotel Late check in. We wait 30 minutes for check in.
Location is great. Very difficult to reach by car.
Good quality hotel near city centre. Comfortable room.
Staff were very helpfull
very close to historic city centre. quiet area, charming decore and very friendly and helpful staff
The room was comfortable and very clean, the staff was friendly and there was an excellent breakfast buffet, the location is central so I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Very central location, friendly and helpful staff. Instructions to get there very good.
Location in walking distance for most tourist spots. Only a couple of rooms are usable in respect to the 3 stars.Other rooms in the annex and even in the patio have no or small windows open on a ventilation shaft with horrible claustrophobia filing .Incredible noise from the street every morning ( 6 to 10 am ) due to a horrible noisy collecting device ,it was the worst ever supported in our live .
Beautiful lobby area and enclosed courtyard gave it a very authentic regional feel - the bathroom was fabulous too. The room was a little hot because of the heating in the lobby I think - we had to use the AC to cool it even though the overnight temperature was 5 deg C.
the place and the interior of the hotel my room. there was no window and the worst is that there was a terrible mouldy smell and unfortunately that smell is now on my clothes
The hotel is very well located in the city centre for the shops, bars and resturants and to visit the city's tourist sights. I did not particularly feel that the hotel was good value for money.
Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff
Central location & helpfulness of staff
The hotel is incredibly central, the hotel was very clean and - other than some confusion with the name the booking was under - very efficient. I didn't like that my room had only a window overlooking the central lobby & therefore I had to use the air conditioning (which I dislike) - it would have been good to know this in advance. It would also have been useful to know in advance that the parking for the hotel is on a pedestrian walkway - this was very confusing!!
Lobby looks great! It is very, very difficult to reach this hotel by car!
Excellant central location for seeing Seville. Rooms on the small size but clean and very comfortable.
The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and pillows galore! The staff was super friendly! We were new to the city and the hotel was quite removed from the city center. I read reviews in advance so I knew what to expect, but it's worth noting.
nothing very hostile service
Yes, bar in lobby very slow with snacks during day (sandwiches etc)
The staff was great, good breakfast included, the location was perfect, the service and room were fantastic. We will definitely come back. We liked everything
Location is very bad, taxi is only way to go center of city and it is very difficult to get taxi in center of city. I can not beliave this hotel is 5 stars hotel. Hotel staff is not helpful(kind) for us.
The pool outside, which is not usaual in a town like Sevilla, but due to the very high temeratures it is very nice to have it It isn't a 5 star hotel. It's 3,5 stars. Due to its spacy design lots of areas inside the buildings get very hot and also the rooms. The a/c isn't able to change this. The worst: The windows are like doors. We have bben in the 3rd. floor and it was posible to open the window-door until a limit stop doesn't allow to open it more. The open gap was 15...20cm, engough that a small child can fall out of the window - horrible...SPAIN Is different!!!
Atmosphere! Spacious setup of complete hotel with great (modern) architecture, largest room ever. From the dozens of hotels I booked through bookings.com this is my favourite. And when you book out of (business) season incredibly cheap. Can't walk to city centre, but since I could park my car for free the hotel the few taxi rides were still cheaper then parking at a hotel in the centre.
Quite upset for having to pay in advance at a 5 star hotel guaranteed by booking.com with a credit card
Good location, right next to Isla Magica and very quiet at the same time. Nice access to the city center (8 euro cab to "Torre Del Ouro") and 2 km distance to a large supermarket. This hotel gives an amazing attention to detail. Everything worked fine and we were very well treated.
Close to everything
Easy to find (with GPS!). Clean, tidy, quiet. Swimming Pool & Spa facilities all shut. And 5 stars in Spain seems to be a lower standard that in other countries. Not walking distance to the old town.
The location is perfect and not noisy despite being in the centre. I appreciated the free internet and daily newspapers available for guets in the reception area. In-room safes require keys from reception. I would like to see these replaced with the more modern electronic safes that are now widely used by hotels.
the location is great but everything else was tired and old-fashioned. walls were very thin - perhaps you can't do much with old palazzi
Situation; Very Helpful staff at desk; reasonably quiet ;International news papers in lounge; No ;
Location. , staff, pool Air conditioning. Very. Minimal. Needs updating.
Location was ideal, bur difficult to find. Hotel room was dirty. Restaurant although pretty was smelly and breakfast was so bad we walked out. Service, or acknowledgement of our presence in the reastaurant was non existent. Valet parking put dents in our car which luckily we were not charged for.
very friendly staff and very good location all ok
Location location location. Right next to the cathedral and tower. All the sites are extremely walkable. No parking, do not use your navigation to get there because you will get your car stuck. The police basically helped me get my car out and used walking path ways to get out of there and into a public parking lot. A/C was horrible, and when we went downstairs to the front desk they told us they will check it and when we came back they said it's normal. The room was way too hot for normal
The location is excellent for visiting the Cathedral and Alcazar. The staff is very helpful . The hotel itself is very attractive and the rooms are quite spacious.
The hotel is in an excellent location being very close to the cathedral & other attractions. The staff were efficient but not at all friendly.
position of hotel We requested balconies at time of booking . Told non available only on arrival . First bedroom stank of sewerage so changed room . Second room had 2 singles instead of double and was on street level with bars at the window . The air-con did not work and nor did the mini bar so I had to have the window open all night which was very noisy and smelly as dogs were soiling the street . The next morning we changed room for the second time and it was just about satisfactory even though we still had 2 singles , no balcony and no view .
Excellent location!! Nothing.
Loved the roof top pool, also the location was second to none
helpful staff, lovely surroundings, amenities the food in the restauruant was terrible. the charge of 60 euros for New Years' dinner was outrageous given the poor quality of the food
Very friendly/helpful staff. The wonderful courtyard to the hotel. The location within the historic quarter.
Nice room, good breakfast and lovely courtyard. Unusual yet typique.
Very nice hotel Poor breakfast
the hotel was perfect except for the noice made when doors are closed, even when we re careful.... we came for a half marathon race and the geographical position was perfect for our race and for getting everywhere around town by foot the reception was perfect, especially with the very helpful and friendly lauren...and the nice guy at breakfast but i failed to get his name nothing in particular. just the noisy doors.
The room Impossible to find or get to by car
lovely breakfast! patio!! feeling that you were in the country with birds singing in the morning!! so, one was in the city but not totally exposed to noise of the city!! oranges on the trees in patio!! there was too much noise in the foyer at night and early in the morning!! area for entertaining should be away from main reception/foyer area!!
Nice, clean room, real nice courtyard area
