Pros: Ocean was pretty & close
Cons: Five staff members were standing at front desk when we walked in about 9:00 pm. We called to get directions,so they knew we were coming. They didn't acknowledge or great us, we were the only people trying to check in. We said hello & asked to check in. It was a long laborious process. Not a smile from anyone. They have the only good for miles & the restaurant was closed. One person unlocked the bar, a piece of wood over the shelf with a padlock & served us a drink. The manager came later & yelled at the staff for doing that & told my husband they didn't charge enough for the drink & demanded more money. The room was very rustic, a thick plastic cover over the mattresses made noise every time you moved during the night. The experience was very unpleasant& we checked out the next morning, not staying the planned 3 days. When we drove back to Veracruz that morning in the light, we could see we had traveled through some unsafe areas to reach this location.
Pros: Beachside location. Swimming pool.
Cons: Slow dinner service. Some of us had finished eating before others food had arrived. Rooms a bit tired.
