Pros: The localization im the center and few min walk from the main attraction. Clean spacious room. Good breakfast. Very nice ladies at the reception. Lovely pool, beautiful garden. Piece & quite. Perfect place for perfect price. Well done!
Cons: Actually the only thing is that the pool was not available for us on last sunny day :(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, amenities, breakfast, pretty much everything was great! The staff were extremely nice and helpful as well as patient with our limited Spanish. Overall one of the best stays we've had while traveling for the past several months.
Cons: Can't honestly think of much?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Surroundings were beautiful. Hammocks amongst the trees. Grass area and lots of space inside the hostel grounds. Free machine with agua caliente for matè. Very helpful and friendly staff. San Ignacio is one of the most beautiful towns in the whole of Argentina. Well worth the visit and SIHostel is a lovely place to see it from.
Cons: Great facilities but not looked after very well. Beautiful pool but dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Too dirty to swim in.
7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely gardens, comfortable bed, very good towels, helpful staff. Food and wine/beer available for purchase. Breakfast was limited but plentiful. Room was quite small and basic but there are large communal areas. Very good value for money
Cons: Shower was very small.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is excellent!
Cons: The rooms have showers, which is nice, but they are very small.
7.1 Good
Pros: - cheap. We only paid 14 euro for a private room and breakfast - good location - we arrived early and could immediately check in
Cons: - Very basic rooms with a shower that overflows the bathroom. - Staff doesn't speak english - there are a lot of mosquitoes in San Ignacio. Bring repellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great space with a pool and good bedroom with aircon. Right in centre of town. IF you come to San ignacio this is the place to stay. Oh and a good breakfast :)
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely staff - one even rang to check that the light show at the mission was still happening! Clean room, and we were allowed to pinch some homemade cake for the road, as we were taking a bus before official breakfast time!
Cons: We had no hot water, which was frustrating! It would have also been nice to have space to hang coats in the room.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: There were flying insects in the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very well situated, not far from the station, the centre and the Jésuite ruins. Very quiet place (maybe also because we were only two in the Hostel
Cons: There are only two bathrooms for all the dormitories, with one no functioning well. I guess it is not a lot when the rooms are fully booked. Also, it would be very nice to have lockers in the dormitories..

Cons: Breakfast was very very simple. Cake, bread, coffee and tea but it was all quite tasty

Cons: nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was kind and helpful even though there was a big language barrier.
Cons: They could find the remote control for the A/C but they gave us a portable heater so the cold night was okay. The kitchen in hostel part didn't work. Poor breakfast - just three kinds of jam, a cake, tea and coffee without milk.

Pros: Great rate. Good location for visiting Missiones in San Ignacio. Very friendly owners.
Cons: Very basic property. Not negative but manage your expectations.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice and helpfylul personnel. The helped us to arrange the excursion to the ruins in Paraguay.
Cons: Lack of hot water in bathroom. You need to communicate only in Spanish.
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet and simple spot. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect. Grounds are attractive. We didn’t get in the pool - looked nice. Staff are friendly
Cons: Disappointing breakfast - coffee wasn’t good either. The distance to the Jesuit ruins is 1.2 miles ( from Google maps) Easy enough walk and town is very safe but much further than we thought
6.7 Good
Pros: La Toscana is not too far from the main bus stop and a quite few blocks from the San Ignacio ruins (10 - 15 minute walk). The hotel is well furnished, nicely decorated with a large amount of common space. Bedroom is huge but there was no duvet which can become a problem if you're staying in Winter. We had the bad surprise to see that the swimming pool was closed for refurbishment which was not mentioned at the point of booking. Breakfast is basic (croissant, toast, butter and jam) but they do have fresh orange juice. They charge you 5 pesos for hot water if you want to make your own coffee/tea/mate which isn't great.

Cons: Very good
6.3 Good
Pros: The attached restaurant and information centre were great. And it is in walking distance of bus terminal but 20 to 30 mins walk to ruins.
Cons: Kitchen utensils were sparse - for example there was only one knife and 2 plates although the room slept 4. Sheets were very old and worn. No hot water to kitchen sink. Swimming pool looked murky and uninviting.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice big cabin , pool and right on RN12
Cons: Dogs around and a little noisy

Pros: The owner is very nice and helpful in so many ways. I'd rather spend my money on local places than chain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice , quiet and friendly place, just take care when you look at the map, there is one Posada marked on avenida sarmiento, which is the wrong place. El Descanso is on avenida Pellegrini, 5 blocks further south !
6.7 Good
Pros: Air conditioning and private bathroom. Price. Accommodated a very late check in.
Cons: We were hoping to stay in one of the little houses that show up in the pictures, but we stayed in a an older building that was not specially comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, had a few relaxed days, good coffee
Cons: Breakfast was a little small, but priced accordingly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: San Ignacio is not all that big a place, but I thought this Posada has a great location which is not far from the bus terminal on the main road, and is about equidistant to the mission ruins and Horacio Quiroga's house and museum.... so very easy to get to and from all the places I needed to. The posada is extremely immaculate and everything seems in good repair. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the bed was super-comfy. I would recommend this for anybody who needs a comfortable place to stay without breaking the bank in San Ignacio.
