9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff! Mary at breakfast was a star in the morning! Barbara & Emiliano are both very helpful and friendly. Nice yet simple breakfast with a priceless view! Great location for exploring the city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: WOW Beautiful rooftop terrace were we had a lovely breakfast overlooking the rooftops and church's of Palermo. Mary always served us with a smile. Quite a climb up several sets of marble stairs but absolutely worth it. Hosts very friendly and helpful , maps , suggestions on places to eat Rooms spotlessly clean, lovely bed linen and towels, rooms modern and a good size...Lovely view from the window of the city rooftops. Rooms really very quiet considering you are in the centre of a busy city Perfect location to explore the city by foot, would highly recommend it.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I offered this stay to my sister as a birthday present as we had never been to Palermo before. The location is spot on to visit the main cultural sites in the historic centre, which includes several Unesco listed monuments. It is also less than 2 min from Quattro Canti, the intersection that divides Palermo in four different neighbourhoods, and you are therefore right in the middle of the action in terms of places to visit, eat and drink. Plus La Terrazza is a 10 min walk to the train station, very convenient if you plan to visit other places nearby while in Palermo. The views over the terrace are lovely - it’s really difficult to imagine a better place to have breakfast. Our room was spacious and we were lucky enough to get a view just opposite the dome of Chiesa del Gesù ( don’t miss it!) As for Barbara and Emiliano, our hosts, we cannot praise them enough. Really professional and welcoming in the true sense of the word; always happy to share a tip on places to taste Palermitan food, what to visit and best time to do so, checking schedules for us, or just sharing due chiacchere over life in general. Special mention to Mary, who always greeted us with a wonderful smile when preparing coffe at breakfast and was super nice with us. We really felt at home in Palermo and wished we could have stayed longer than we did (5 days) and we have both lived and visited many places in Italy before, so that says it all.
Cons: Be aware that there is no lift so you would need to navigate 5 flights of stairs. However, the place and views over the terrace are worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic terrace and great hosts. Great breakfast om the terrace.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Central location with large comfortable rooms with good air conditioning. Hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Great breakfasts in the terrace with the most wonderful backdrop. Despite the central location we were rarely aware of any street or traffic noise. Good range of places to eat within 5-10 minutes walk.
Cons: The 72 steps were a challenge and if you have significant health or mobility issues then unfortunately this lovely place is not for you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, lovingly renovated B&B, very caring hosts, great value for money!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice stay! The view from the terrace is awesome. The staff is really nice. Barbara, the host, is speaking well french and gave us good tips. The breakfast is good with homemade cakes. Mary who is working there is really nice and funny too. We definitely recommand this place! Vero & Soizick

Pros: Interesting place to stay in. Not as noisy as you would think it can be a railway station. There was no train passing by in night. The owner was very King, gave us all the information we needed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property was a little haven,,the hosts were so friendly and accommodating,,,beautifully decorated. small and welcoming ,Our room was spacious and well set out...everything you needed. On our arrival we were asked about where we would like to have dinner and were offered choices,,,we chose a local Trattoria which turned out to be one of the best night's experience we had away. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next night. Breakfast was delightful...traditional Sicilian ...lovely ambience. Transport into Palermo was at your doorstep, easy and frequent. We would recommend Le Stanze del Capostazione to friends.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well located in the centre. Staff was very friendly and helpful in giving advice about places to eat and visit. Nicely furnished rooms. Good value for money.
Cons: The room and toilet were overall clean, however the duvet cover had several oil stains which was not very pleasant. There was dust under the bed and on top of the bed frame. This could be improved and I am sure was not intentional.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice and friendly host, Ignazio was very courteous even though I had to postpone my check-in by 2 hours after the initially agreed time. Breakfast was great and the staff was super helpful as well.
Cons: Rooms are not very soundproof (on the account of the facility being located in a charming renovated train station), so if you're looking to sleep in you might not be able to do so if you unluckily stay there at the same time as some lively kids!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent reception, great location. I have had a very pleasant stay, staff is very gentle and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the room is outstanding. I definitely recommend this guest house B&b. 100 %
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious and the bed extremely comfortable.
Cons: I was quite happy with the place overall
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owner who met us outside when we arrived quite late at night. Made us very welcome and told us to help ourselves to anything in the fridge. Room was very comfortable and clean
Cons: The area unfortunately like a lot of areas in Sicily were blighted by copious amounts of rubbish and litter. Nothing at all to do with the B & B, its just a shame.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quirky and comfortable, with gentle, attentive staff. The location was extra special - it was so easy to get to and from Palermo for several euros a trip (and trains ran frequently). A bonus was our close proximity to a good restaurant with simple but tasty food, good service and reasonable prices.
Cons: For what we paid - nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: 1) Extremely accommodating host. Ignazio is a fine gentleman who genuinely care about his guests. He made a point to meet and greet his guests each morning, tried his best to make you feel welcome. We had scratched our rental car a few days ago but our camera was broken and could not take pictures. He was very kind to agree to take pictures with his smartphone and then emailed the pix to us. 2) Perfect location to visit Palermo due to it is literally above the train station of Bagheria where there are frequent commuter trains to / from Palermo at 3 euro a ride. It beats to drive into Palermo, fighting for the parking space and trying to avoid accidentally entering ZTL. I would say it also works for visiting Cefalu. I wish I have stayed here instead of at Cefalu for our previous night. 3) Apartment is very spacious and clean. It shows the owner has put a lot of thoughts into the furnishing trying to keep an old railroad station theme. Though we feel there can be some small improvements to make the apartment more practical.
Cons: Really nothing other than the very small shower stall. The bathroom itself is very spacious but the prefabbed shower stall is way too small. We are of small built and thin, but we still have some difficulties when taking a shower - whenever one lifts up a leg, one tends to knock on the faucet and accidentally shut down the water flow. We believe if a handheld shower head is installed, it would greatly help the issue, as with the handheld shower head one does not need to move the body but just use the hand to get the water to the right places. There are other small improvements we feel can be implemented. 1) Add a small stand with open shelves by the side or at the corner, so small things can be placed on the shelves. The bedside wood block looks good but not practical with the big lamp sitting on top of it and the surface is not flat - little space left to put your eyeglasses, water etc by the bed side. 2) modify / add power outlet for charging devices. As of now there is only 1 outlet with multiple plugs to use but at a very inconvenient, low to the floor position. It is quite difficult to use Adapter for guests outside Italy with the different socket set up. 3) Provide a kettle in the kitchen so guest can boil water for making coffee/tea. The above are sincere suggestions for improvements of very low costs but would add a lot of conveniences and satisfaction of stay to the guests. We still highly recommend this property. We wish Ignazio continuous success in his business.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely B&B with a very accommodating host with all the good advising you could ever ask for :)
Cons: breakfast was surely sweet - an orange and some frish bread without sucker would have been nice, but again it was a very lovely stay and very recommendable!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in central Monreale with a lovely terrace and great views of Cathedral and square. Close to cafes etc. Secure parking nearby (fee)
Cons: I understood that I had a bed/breakfast package but breakfast was not included. The central location has a drawback - when we arrived the roads around the square were closed to traffic. Stairs to our room are steep and narrow - not recommended for anyone with arthritis/disabilities
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Location is excellent. The bed very confortable. The place is kept very clean. The owner, Maximiliano is very helpful and always available.
Cons: The bathroom is not very comfortable but it’s clean. The front room furnishing makes it neither a bedroom nor a living room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely views of duomo from balcony. Nice Host. He offered to pay for our breakfast in a nearby cafe but regularly not included in the price of room.
Cons: good for people without a car. Parking in town garage only and expensive even with host's discount at $20. Bath, bedding and toiletries were very basic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and helpful with an unbeatable location.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from the veranda was amazing, right overlooking the cathedral. Great pizza restaurant in the square.
Cons: Parking was a pain in the neck, had to drive for 10 minutes to find somewhere to park on street (paid), no car parks nearby. But this has been a typical experience throughout in Sicily.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Top location and cordial host.
Cons: The room was not suitable for 4 adults.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent. Massimiliano courteous and helpful, Ambiance was great.

Pros: My girlfriend and me arrived from Palermo airport and we slept there for the night. The room was simply perfect and everything was amazing! Extremely clean and the view you have from the terrace is something difficult to forget for the rest of your life. All the building is new and the bed really comfortable. The host is really friendly and gave us a lot of good advises. We hope to come back soonest!

Pros: All the rest if fine. Great hospitality, super clean. Well decorated, beautiful view. Just need to know, It is a bit far way from the city, 30 min drive in the sicilian mountain..
Cons: The food is considered to be top class. And it is. however the dinner plate where too minimal and cooked " AL Dente" . We did not like this cooking style. The breakfast is good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was our second stay here. We love everything about this place. Great breakfast and dinner, really pleasant music and extremely friendly personal in the restaurant. Very comfy and large bed. Nice bottle of wine as present. Fantastic pool and views. Very elegant and relaxing place to stay.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I wanted four days R&R in a beautiful location and that's exactly what I got. Wonderful hotel and amazing swimming pool. Super service, room and breakfast and great poolside bar. Lovely vineyard and winery, had a super wine tasting session and bought myself some delicious wine and olive oil to bring home.
Cons: Lunch and dinner were good but would have liked an authentic Italian menu with really fresh ingredients.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful traditional winery and hotel set amongst the vines and olive trees. Large bedrooms thoughtfully decorated with quality antique furniture and a large bathroom. Welcoming professional staff from reception to dining. Good selection for breakfast.
Cons: Only the bed, found it a bit hard and pillows were way too hard for my liking otherwise a perfect stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the vineyard, the room
Cons: Most staff were not very accommodating and the restaurant was so quiet to the point it was uncomfortable (a little music would have been nice) and there was one waitress for 7 tables at dinner time..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, great staff very reasonable prices for the quality... loved it and would highly recommend..
Cons: What's not to like...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was our second time staying there but this time with our adult children who enjoyed it enormously. Even though it's a bit out of the way, it's worth it. We did the wine tasting in the winery and again, well worth the couple of hours if you have the time. Totally professional and very enjoyable. Can't recommend it more highly for a relaxing quiet stay!
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Overview Reviews
Set in Corleone, La casa di Bia offers accommodation with free WiFi and a shared lounge. A sun terrace is available for guests at the bed and breakfast to use. The nearest airport is Falcone-Borsellino Airport, 67 km from La casa di Bia.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful experience. Great host, very familiar atmosphere, feel like at home
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great accomodation! Bia was very friendly and eventhough she could only speak Italian, we made it work with the help of Google Translate. Bia drove us to a typical Italian restaurant and she told the staff we could sit in the back, with all the real Italians! The breakfast was amazing and all self made. The women working there gave us a great tour around Corleone and showed us different places we would otherwise wouldn’d have seen. Ladies, thankyou for everything!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The lady is a very nice host. Good breakfast. Nice view. Comfortable beds.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A delightful and somewhat quirky hostess. Bia is the kooky Italian Zia (Aunt) you never had. Honestly, it was the most surprising host experience I’ve ever had. I was utterly charmed by the end. Adorable!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bia Bia's tour of Corleone (the undoubted highlight of my holiday) Delicious breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely marvellous: host, location, facilities. It is possible that Bia is the friendliest, most helpful person on the planet. On my arrival I was offered pasta, aubergines, meat, watermelon, ice cream and coffee (all were of excellent standard). I'm not sure if this is a standard welcome or if I was just in the right place at the right time! The room's balcony looks out onto a view of mountains and yet it's 5 minutes away from the town centre. Excellent accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and value. Nice staff, wonderful breakfast. Clean and awesome bathroom. The room had excellent view.
Cons: All was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked spontaneously but it worked everything perfectly. After only 20 Minuten from the booking we were Handed out the Keys. The House was rented by an elderly italian woman which later on showed us the City of Corleone. We didnt expect that, it was really nice from her! She also wanted to Cook us some dinner which we declined, since it was Not included in the price. All in all a really clean, tidy and modern House which was worth the price. Also the friendly Lady who told us a lot about everything we wanted to know about the City and Italy. She also took us around with her car which was really nice and she hadnt to do that. If we ever come again to Sicily, we will surely stay there. The breakfast was also good.
Cons: Everything perfect!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Room was extra clean! Staff was very helpful!
Cons: Only the pillows vere too hard
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location. Comfort
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked a room for three adults and were allocated a balconied suite with a very large double bedroom and adjoining lounge/kitchen are into which the third sofa-bed had been placed without reducing the available space to any significant degree. Hotel staff were efficient and helpful and continental breakfast was of good standard. The Reception is not manned at night but an outside key is provided for late returners. My only minor criticism was the shower which was a bit inconsistent between hot and cooler. Hotel location is excellent, being a few minutes from the major shops and the Teatro Massimo from which a crowded pedestrianised street, lined with bars, cafes and restaurants, leads down to the Old Town, Cathedral, Norman Palace and a vast outdoor food market.
Cons: Sadly the road in which the hotel is located (like much of the rest of the city) is littered and graffiti daubed. I can’t blame the hotel for this!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff friendly. Breakfast good. Location.
Cons: Not much
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We stayed there for four nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also very efficient. Breakfast was nice enough. The location was good and the room was large. We enjoyed our stay!
Cons: It would have been greater if there were a coffee set (a small electric kettle, coffee cups, spoon) in the room. The room was also dark, but we were outside most of the time anyway...
6.8 Good
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: There were sposts of mold in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this accommodation was wonderful. The staff, particularly Anna at Reception was extremely helpful. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade and our room was very spacious. Bed was very comfortable, Hugh selection of food to choose from for breakfast. Would definitely use this hotel again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice building, clean and well designed inside. Large room, cool and quiet. Perfect.
Cons: Not much
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was huge and always clean! You had a kitchen and a big bed! The location was the best! It was near EVERYTHING! I can so recommend this hotel!
Cons: The bed was a little bit hard and not so nice to sleep on, but it was okay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a nice suite at a reasonable price. Breakfast was good. Staff were very accommodating.
Cons: Slight odor of sewage in the room

6.8 Good
Pros: Private beach
Cons: A Seaview room was actually a wallview room The room wasn’t very clean
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Friday to Sunday night loud music in the bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, right on a beach, simple but has everything. Breakfast ok
6.8 Good
Pros: Brand new hotel, situated at the beautiful beach. Room was cleaned every day. Available parking.
Cons: It would be nice if it was specified at which floor room is. We got a room on the ground floor which we were trying to avoid when we were looking for the hotel. The room was gloomy, almost without natural light. Due to the poor ventilation the room was constantly humid. We tried to get rid of humidity by keeping doors open, but without success. We also adsked cleaning woman to not clean floor in our room, because it could not be dryed for hours. Beach itself was clean, but the problem was with the sea. It gets dirty after 10am every day and it is not possible to swim. For those who prefer swimming pool, it can be valid alternative. Brekfast was not bad, but we were a bit suprised that they do not serve any salats for the brekfast. No vegetables at all. On the other side, we had unpleasant experience in the hotel's restaurant where we had a dinner. We waited for an hour and half for pizza, at the end they tried to charge us what we did not eat and drink. They even did not apologize for the mistake and we had to pay 4 eur for the "service" they provided us.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Modern building recently decorated. Our room was very big. Some staff members were helpful - especially on reception and the lady at the bar.
Cons: The resort holds events and parties for non hotel guests pretty much every night and so hotel guests are made to feel like gate crashers of somebody else’s celebration. We were actually told to move on two occasions so that these outsiders good take photos/ have a nice place to sit! On top of this, extremely loud music is played until 1am and on one night heavy furniture was moved around after the party up until 2am. It was impossible for me and my family to get any sleep as we were in the room underneath the bar area. On the weekend the private beach was taken over by locals who had worked out that it was a nice place for them to use sun loungers for free. We were expected to pay 5 Euros each for a beach / pool towel and my daughters were told off when they tried to use one from the room. The rules of the pool were ridiculous - guests were reprimanded if they did not enter and leave the pool via the metal steps. My children were also told off for using a very small ball in the pool. The only restaurant available was chaotic with only one member of staff able to speak English. The menu was only in Italian. Very disappointing experience.
6.8 Good
Pros: It was located close to the beach, and the pool area was nice
Cons: Our room was placed just below the bar area of the restaurant and a place where the DJ and music arrangements are placed. In the evening of Friday there was a band and afterwards a DJ playing until 1 am in the morning and it was first quiet around 2 am in the morning. Something similar happened Saturday and Sunday evening. And the room was furthermore next to the cleaning room where the cleaning staff started their daily routines from 7 am/8 am in the morning. We booked the room as a family room for two adults and our 9-year old daughter. She couldn't sleep until late, late into the night. This affected the vacation in a very bad way. We complaint several times but with no reaction from the hotel staff. It waa not possible to get any kind of servings (drinks/snacks) at the pool area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, good facilities and stunning sea views.
Cons: Difficult access due to location next to railway line. Chaotic guest parking arrangements... mixed up with overcrowded beach day visitor area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, beach with few people, good breakfast, excellent food in restaurant.
5.5 Okay
Pros: In principle a great location. excellent pool.
Cons: Staff was slow, you are kicked out even from pool and beach at checkout, and the rooms while being renovated were somewhat cheap. noisy barmusic until late
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful - professionalism of the stuff Clean and neat all segments Great customer service Excellent location Delicious food Price - cheaper than compare with a similar 4* place
Cons: Train line Earth-quick symptoms on passing by trains especially in a early morning pass - wake up in a surprise mode ;)

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel: in the city center, near the tourist attractions.
Cons: Female receptionist was really rude and arrogant. Asking questions about facilities left us unanswered. We had a room in a seperate building with a lot of noice outside the whole night. The bathroom smelled like sewer. The breakfast was very outdated and simple. Seriously not worth what we paid for the stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nicely appointed rooms in great location. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: not their fault, but there was a power blackout one night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hotel with a lovely internal courtyard. The staff were really excellent and attentive. The valet parking was really easy (once we had worked out how to drive to the hotel)
Cons: While the food and service in the hotel restaurant was excellent, the décor and style of the dining room was very sombre and did not help to create any atmosphere.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel. Our room was lovely with a terrace with great views over the rooftops and surrounding Palermo. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was fantastic, within easy walking distance of all the attractions and great restaurants

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious layout. Large and quiet swimming pool that was immaculately clean. Staff could not have been more helpful. Restaurant on site was good and there were other restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: TV was in bedroom not in the lounge area. The sofa was very uncomfortable .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic and grand place to stay. Very much enjoyed the location, pool and restaurant. Hassan, who runs the place, was exceptionally attentive and helpful. One of the best places to stay.
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: the grounds surrounding the villa are nice and parking is good.
Cons: its ok and nothing more...just for a short stay maybe...i dont know why it has all the good reviews...irs a bit dated and just feels unloved a bit. the dact that breakfast is not included is also strange as it was in every other place we stayed at. food at the restaurant wasn't great either...just like the place itself not super bad but also not good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is very clean and tranquil. It really is gorgeous but you felt like you stepped into a time warp.
Cons: I had no facilities to make myself a cup of tea and had to go up to the resturant must to get a cuppa and pay for it. Needed to iron my husbands shirt for a wedding and they didn't have one. You had to have it sent off to be ironed and pay for it but also they didn't do it on a Saturday, i needed it for Saturday. The phone beside our bed did not work to call reception or my family in Australia.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed comfortable, nice spcious room
Cons: No satelite TV for the English
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent, the room was clean, the resort was quiet, and very picturesque.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Agriturismo Villa Cefala is beautiful, we were lucky enough to feel like we had the place and pool practically to ourselves despite the amount of people that can occupy the place. The rooms are spread out in different locations on the grounds. It has a massive car par area, grand entrance, massive pool area with sun beds and hammocks, the food in the restaurant is top quality and very well priced. The breakfast can seem a little expensive for what it is but Hassan will offer you plenty of coffee, tea, juice etc and keep bringing out enough food so you can fill up on it but just don’t expect English breakfasts if you’re fussy about them, skip the breakfast. Hasan could not be more helpful and always approached you with a friendly smile. Cleaners cleaned rooms everyday, changed towels everyday, air con in bedroom and living room area, mini fridge only so can stock just small bottles of water, bottle of wine ok but we are out mostly or got snacks from supermarket so was fine. It is in a great location with cafe113 down the road with superb food, cocktails and a band playing in the garden, La Rotunda is also a great place down the road, excellent food, drink, cocktails and lush desserts, small beach area down the road, we had a car so was easier to get around and see more of Sicily, cannot fault this place at all. Will be back very soon
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful area and quite
Cons: If I were the owners I would put a kettle and coffee in every room. We had to buy a kettle and get some cups for our coffee in our room. I strongly suggest they do that. Otherwise really nice place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property was lovely. Best pool on our travels. Staff very helpful. Restaurant was excellent. A great retreat to come back to after a day in Palermo

3.3 Mediocre
Cons: BE CAREFULL: description text for the rooms doesn’t corrispond to reality. E.G. Family rooms don’t have balcony neither city view. I do not recommend staying here especially if you have kids along.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staffs, good location, quiet
Cons: The toilet is a little small and the water goes down a little slow in the shower

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
6.3 Good
Pros: Positioning was great.
Cons: My wife and I just spent 6 weeks in Europe and this was the worst place we stayed at. The place had repairs that had been selasticed and had still come apart. There was a cigarette butt and a hairpin under the bed with the film of dust that I found when doing my leaving check. The bathroom was terrible.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and super friendly! We will def stay there again! Thank you!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was ideal for our needs: it was close to Palermo Central station, but gave easy walking access to a number of attractions in the city. The room (and whole establishment) was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Marble entrance way with old style lift was a big surprise but rather nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the position is super comfortable and the rooms are simple but really nice, the staff is amazing!
Cons: the towels aren’t very soft even if they do their job!

Pros: The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great night sleep
Cons: The sign on the front could be bigger it’s easy to not notice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location , nice room , near the nightlife , clean space
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice traditional B&B in the old town. Parking an issue if you have a car. Easy waking and public transport OK
Cons: It was all good.
7.5 Good
Pros: There aren't many rooms so it feels like the service is quite personal - the manager responded quickly to my requests and questions. The second of the 2 rooms I stayed in was decorated nicely and had a little balcony!
Cons: They have 'modern' and 'classic' rooms, and the modern room is a bit disappointing if you're expecting the bed with the canopy etc. The inner rooms are a bit noisy - there's a high pitched whine from a machine in the inner courtyard that goes on and off 24hours a day...not their fault, of course, but maybe request an outer room if you think it will bother you.
7.0 Good
Pros: Unfortunately there was a peculiar high pitched whine, 8 seconds longs, every 15 seconds, all night long from somewhere in the neighborhood, which did not make it a good night's sleep. Hopefully it was a temporary thing. Apart from that it was nice to stay in a typical block with an inner courtyard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient. Mear train station. Friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommended for short and long stays
Cons: Perfect

Pros: Great place with friendly staff. Homemade Grapefruit jam for breakfest!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabio is a great host. We felt very comfortable in his B & B. The breakfast on the roof terrace with daily fresh cake and omelette was perfect. The view from the terrace offered a wide view of the sea, the small town and the bays. Our rooms were clean and offered everything we needed. The room was often cleaned. Also there was a kitchen that we could use. And Fabio took good care of every concern. Our personal highlight was the boat trip he offers. We recommend this tour to everyone! All in one: We would like to come back. :)
10.0 Excellent

5.5 Okay
Pros: Really good location, awesome roof terrace with a stunning view where you have your breakfast. Helpful host who gave us a map and some good advice.
Cons: Our room was incredibly hot (much more so than rest of the house). 1st floor. We kept the windows open which made for a very noisy night. Had to close them. Ran out of air, got hotter. Slept really bad.

Eurostars Centrale Palace - Palermo - Building
16
8.5 Excellent (3,271 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in the heart of Palermo, just a few steps from the magnificent cathedral and the famous Via Maqueda, this hotel was once the noble 18th century Palazzo Tarallo. Originally a magnificent aristocratic residence, this hotel was brought back to its original splendour by an expert restoration completed in 2003. The particular care exercised in the selection of furnishings and the preservation of the original structures endowed the hotel with a special charm and a unique personality. On the main floor, lavish frescos and precious antique furniture recreate a magical atmosphere straight out of the novel The Leopard. There are 5 conference rooms, all fully-equipped, as well as the Restaurant 1892, an ideal base for special event lunches or dinners as well as wedding receptions, buffet or gala dinners. Monte di Pietà is a great choice for travellers interested in museums, history and churches.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location is very good in the city historical centre and close to most interesting things to visit. However this also means that access by car is possible but a bit complicated.
Cons: There’s a lingering smell in the room that is not very nice. Room / toilets could have been cleaner. There was no parking place available, even though we had chosen the property specifically for parking spot, so they arranged for someone to parc our car and bring it back for €15 (1 night). Staff is helpful but don’t go out of their way either
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the Hotel “Eurostar Palazzo Centrale” or former Centrale Palace Hotel” for one night, in Junly 2019. It was our third time in that hotel and second time it was triple room #323. Everything was very good. Hotel situated in real geographical and historical center of Palermo, just several meters from Quatro Canti or Four Corners at Corso Vittorio Emanuele. It takes equal only ten minutes to get Palermo Cathdral by walk. All museums such as Regional Gallery in Palazzo Abatelis and Pallazo Chiaramonti are in ten-fifteen minutes walk. Central railway station is situated one kilometer from the hotel and we spent only fifteen minutes to get our train just walking to the station. So, hotel situated at the very center among all tourist destinations and shopping areas. Hotel is situated in real palace built in XVII-XVIII centuries, so it has appropriate interiors. Room #323 was equipped with all necessary things. There were the TV set, refrigerator with mini bar and air conditioner in the room. Wardrobe with safe was also present in the room. Bath room had no bathtub but was equipped with shower cabin. It was big enough even to put there very tall person. Hairdryer was available in the bathrooms too. Everything was although not new but functional and clean. Free Wi Fi was available in all areas of the Hotel. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent and plentiful. All personnel was very helpful and polite, all people at the reception spoke fluent English.
Cons: None
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Great palace. Quiet rooms if you ask for those
Cons: A bit old and in need of a renew
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully friendly staff Excellent location in the centre of the most beautiful square in Palermo. Water and sweets at reception desk, easy check in and printed my boarding passes for us.
Cons: The room was very clean but a little older than I expected, especially the bathroom in room 309, the shower was just about useable, powerless. The lighting system in the room is also rather dated. I was awoken at 12 midnight with the loud sound of music on my balcony, and even more surprised to find a man in his underpants there... I had no idea it was a shared Juliette balcony! Staying alone with two young children, the glass door to the balcony did not lock securely. The roof top bar was very pretty with not much life.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We got a wonderful deal on booking.com, almost unbelievable given the quality of the hotel The hotel is in an ideal location, just a stone's throw from Quattro Canti, the centre of Palermo. The hotel is very beautiful and elegant on the inside, like a five star hotel. The staff were friendly, assisting with bus transfer the next day, and the 24-hour reception is extremely convenient especially in a city like Palermo where one may like to stay out late. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Cons: We arrived and our room was not ready for check-in, unlike many other guests, which was a bit annoying at the end of July when we were extremely hot and just wanted to shower and bask in the air conditioning. In our room the shower screen was broken, so it could not be pulled close without collapsing, and the air conditioning unit was so loud that it was easier to sleep in hot silence than cool noise. None of these are big problems however for a four-star hotel one might expect these small matters to be attended to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved decorations! Their living rooms, restaurant, breakfast space were amazing. There were many paintings at the hallways. I really liked design
Cons: Breakfast could be better. As they serve it between 7-10:30am and we ate our breakfast at 9am, some things were already cold. They could replace them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooftop bar, staffed by Roberto at the time, was superb. Amazing drinks, I would definitely recommend it.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Bad smell in the room that was in a bad state Anyway (specially the shower cabin) and towels where torn apart.
Cons: Did like location
7.5 Good

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and spacious. Great location to walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great!
Cons: We had a loft room in our unit. We could not find the control to lower the AC for that loft room. It was quite warm. The downstairs units worked great! We like it cold at night. Front desk staff could work on being a bit more friendly.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The balcony and staff were amazing. We also loves the court yard bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a perfect location on a popular street and close to many great attractions and restaurants. The staff was very attentive and diligent. We had an executive suite that was very spacious with a balcony and great view. There was a festival during our stay and we had the best view of the parade and events. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Palermo.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Bed could be more comfortable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and fantastic - we arranged our airport transfers and spa bookings (minus kids!) Via email before we arrived.
Cons: We were looking for a family hotel with a pool - unfortunately children are not allowed in the spa at any time.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is smack bang in the centre of the old town with easy access to the main markets, key sights, and good shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and tidy and the beds are comfy. We also paid for a spa experience for two and really enjoyed that.
Cons: Some of the staff serving breakfast were not as friendly, attentive or helpful as the main reception staff - they ignored my wife on a couple of occasions - but we appreciate people can have an off day and can't say it massively ruined our overall experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, character of the building, lovely courtyard area. Perfect
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great, as was the restaurant! The people working at the hotel and restaurant are very helpful and kind. We usde their valetservice. We stayed in the suite, which is very practical, but not extremely beautiful. The suite was very spacious and clean. The rest of the hotel is beautiful. We didn't use the spa facilities because we were only in town for 1 night, but they looked good.
Cons: Although the suite was very spacious it didn't have a separate toilet, it was situated in the bathroom. The suite wasn't decorated to my taste, but that's personal.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location. Interesting building.
Cons: Unfriendly staff.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: fabulous location, right in the heart of Palermo
Cons: liked the whole hotel
Domina Zagarella Sicily - Santa Flavia - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
Located in Santa Flavia, Domina Zagarella Sicily is on the boardwalk, within a 5-minute drive of Mount Catalfano Park and Villa Santa Teresa. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Santa Flavia? This hotel has facilities measuring 5920 square feet (550 square meters), including a conference center. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view. Very nice pool area. Very friendly staff.
Cons: N/A
6.8 Good
Pros: Hotel is in a great location by the sea and the pool facilities were great
Cons: A warning to other travellers looking for a quiet stay - the hotel does pool ‘entertainment’ for an hour every day and really loud live music every evening until about 11.30. Obviously some people really like this but for those that don’t it’s very invasive and not possible to escape as it’s so loud
6.3 Good
Pros: The access to the swimming pools and to the sea front The 2 restaurants Positano and Capo Zafferano
Cons: the lack of attention from the staff : it was never said or written that our prestige deluxe room with sea view room is above restaurant and that there is music late at night especially when you at the 1st floor and that it has a small balcony allowing the presence of only one person at the farthest place from the sea front the buffet restaurant is very very noisy during the dinner with poor choice the breakfast was an horrific experience : not enough cups to assure the service so they collect cups and wash them all along by hands (my wife finds lipsticks spots ....), no fruit juices or you get red juice when you press on ananas, only one coffee machine which does not deliver hot water so we miss our hot beverages with no paid attention from the staff which does not manage the breakfast service at all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A smart modern hotel right beside the sea but in a rather shabby area. Convenient stoppover for Palermo and the airport.
Cons: The surrounding area - there was nowhere decent to walk to.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location -- beautiful views, nice beach (though strictly segregating "Club members" vs the rest) and cozy little hamlet in a couple of kilometers
Cons: 1. Check-out at 10:30 is not something you would expect from a holiday resort, is it (when asked for a possibility of a late check-out the reception staff said "No" without even looking into computer)? 2. Very relaxed service, especially at reception 3. Breakfast is quite suboptimal -- starting from coffee and "juices" and unripe tomatoes (at end-Jun!) and ending with the service (one morning it was possible to order fried eggs, the next one it was a firm "No")
4.5 Okay
Pros: Staff were generally friendly and helpful though. Some were particularly so, and the guest relations staff were really helpful after we had a car accident. Anna behind the bar was lovely too.
Cons: Awful cruise ship entertainment (dancing minions) that was really loud and really late EVERY night. Horrible colour rooms (pink!). Nothing to do locally and few good restaurants / bars nearby. The area didnt even make it into the lonely planet. Had to pay extra for parking. The restaurant food wasn't great and there was no music or atmosphere in the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it or go again.
5.5 Okay
Pros: - great pool area - great gym/fitness center
Cons: - Bathroom shower & tap water was muddy! - oddly enough, TV set sound volume could not go below level "10" - car parking fee is 7€/night: too steep & unjustified (i've never paid such a ransom in a hotel before) - breakfast quality is below room price tag (no fresh orange juice, low quality products). Plus food was cold. - breakfast area was cold and windy the 3 days we've been there - pool bar was cold and windy for evening drinks
7.5 Good
Pros: Sea water pool
Cons: the beach
4.3 Okay
Pros: The room cleanliness was excellent at all times. Shuttle bus is useful for local excursions during the day only.
Cons: Hotel buffet experience for breakfast and lunch was very poor, with understaffed and under trained staff, poor quality food, and 10 up queues for fresh coffee between 8.30-10.00am The restaurant manager does not seem to care. The restaurant manager should have a daily review of food stock and catering equipment. A rental car is required for this hotel location as taxis are hard to find. The hotel can be so much more, but management can only change that. If you read the guest reviews on Trip Advisor the same hotel response is repeated, but no change is implemented in the hotel working practices, which is a shame. The hotel travel desk should have good English speaking staff available, who can have a detailed discussion of the trips available. The Hotel shuttle bus should be made available until 11pm for guest bookings, to local towns. The hotel gym has aircon available, but is never on, so gym workouts can be very hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms very friendly staff

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Massimo Plaza. Great location and super friendly & helpful staffs. Special thanks to Francesca!
Cons: An elevator to the hotel would help but not sure if local government will allow that. Other than that, it is a great hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stay was wonderful due mostly to the exceptional customer service of John Luca and his female colleague at the front desk. We had an issue with the date of our booking and the hotel staff made us feel welcome and ensured that we had a room to stay in. The room was exceptionally clean and with a view of Teatro Massimo. They catered to our every need, from holding our luggage and providing excellent recommendations to offering a late check-out and scheduling a taxi to the airport. Highly recommend due to the excellent staff - they deserve a raise!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, right in the center of Palermo. We had a room on the other side of the building so music and noise from the street didn’t bother us.
Cons: We weren’t fan of breakfast being served in the room.
