Rustic, converted large farm-house with some traditional artefacts - a very different experience. Refreshing, but basic, outdoor pool by lemon trees. Breakfast basic, but pleasant. Within 30-40 mins drive of the islands of A Toxa and Arousa. Nothing at all locally for tourists (including no restaurants), this problem exacerbated by the fact that the hotel has no restaurant or cafe area for snacks. It does however have a reasonably well-stocked bar, but you need to find the owner who lives in the farmhouse to serve you. Saying this, the owners did provide crockery for us to eat some basic supplies we obtained from the local mini-market
Pazo Lararche is an old historic winery that has been converted into a hotel in a lovely country setting. Because it was not purpose built as a hotel, it lacks some features of a modern hotel, for example internet access is poor is some rooms because of the huge stone walls, but is good in the common room.
staff very helpful, room was clean, good breakfast, value for money
The house is very nice but the problem is that there are not restaurants around and the hotel does not have eating service.
Was very pleased with this hotel. Rooms were comfortable, large and very clean. My teenage son left a mobile phone in his room, and the reception staff immediately phoned to let us know. As we were not able to return to collect it, they promptly sent the phone to our forwarding address, which arrived the very next morning. No complaints whatsoever about this hotel.
The price , The free park, near beach ( 1,5 KM +/-). I have staied in several hotels in Vigo, and for th price they charge me in August and for the location I'm definitely a client for future.
Beach in front of the hotel. No parking available at the hotel, had to leave the car 1.5km away
This hotel is a good clean hotel, with a large room. It is comfortable, and the price/quality ratio is good. Breakfast is resonable. I liked the fact that there was a good parking that was free.Internet connection was reasonable. Only stayed one night for business, so it was ok. I did not think that the staff was very friendly - they were just ok. Although the rooms were big, they were noisy, and at 4 or 5 am, I woke up with noisy neighbours. The walls of the room are thin, and we could hear them speaking loudly in the corridors and when they reached the room also. It is not in a "nice" area of town - but ok, if you have a car to move around
A large modern comfortable hotel. Room was enourmous and bed comfortable. Food in the restaurant was ok but restaurant was little used by guests. The location is not ideal for visiting the city centre, where driving and parking is nightmarish even by city centre standards.
Comfortable hotel helpful staff. Easy parking No restaurant and rather far out but taxis were not expensive.
Location. Not very clean, nor friendly. Doesn't seem a 4-star hotel.
The hotel staff were very helpful and sympathetic and when we left things in our room they sent them to us in Madrid the next day.
I stayed at this hotel as part of my tour of Northern Spain. This hotel was by far the best hotel on my trip beating three other 4* hotels hands-down. Very friendly staff and a clean & comfortable room. Also free private parking out front. I can recommend!
Rooms are lovely, and restaurant was very good
Too much money for everything No everything came with a price tag to much money
newness & style of rooms also the balcony was superb as was pool & spa although is very new use of more Hotel english literature would have helped my stay however it was stil very enjoyable
The location and the room
The hotel is awesame!!! Only one thing, our closet was a little bit dirty from outside. If you stay in 5 star hotel, it could not happens! But the rest of our room was perfect, so we had forgotten really quickly..
in general I like all no
Nothing in particular but then nothing really wrong either, about what we expected The reception staff - not very helpfull - just did what they had to and nothing more. Poor response to questions re issues outside the Hotel. Seemed to always be on the telephone
The view from the 8th floor is great; Design; Very clean; Very calm. Some tv channels had bad reception; I had to pay 10,55€ to park the car in a nearby park for a night because there was no other choice. The room was very small. The wireless connection was very poor and disconnecting all the time.
Good central location and very well kept facilities. Excellent breakfast buffet. Road works make access difficult but this is not their fault and will finish
Zenit Hotel was good. Staff was co-operative. Breakfast was good. Overall everything was good.
English TV program
Good price, close to the train station
Food in the town was excellent
Staff kindness and availability
Breakfast fair to the price. The room had windows facing the court which had a roof. The room was very hot and the aircondition was not started from central. it did not help to open the windows to the yard. Get a room facing the street.
The general ambience was good, it is a pity the bar closed at 2359 for residents when there is a night porter. On my second night, at 1800 another guest was booked into my room and entered whilst I was in the shower. Poor administration I think. Also, why do the chamber maids not check to see if the basins are not blocked or the water is slow to run away. It is the sign that the service is not 100% and is why I have classified the hotel as "moyen".
Excellent position in the center with all the usefull transport connection nearby the hotel:bus and airport shuttle. Quiet and cleaned rooms, i really had a good rest. Very good and rich breakfast with a quiet atmosphere. You can also reach in 15min the famous beach Samil by bus. Unfortunatly staff didn't speak good english nor french or Italian and they were not availble to help for city information as simple indication on how to get somewhere. One of them replied me that this was not a tourism information point!! From my point of view ,this is unacceptable answer from hotel staff.
Bad service in the bar! Bad information to the parking!!!!!!
I like the location. The breakfast buffet is very good.
Breakfast was excellent No
The Receptionist at Hesperia Vigo Ms. Olijia was excellent, very helpful with good english.
Good behavior of staffs, cleanness, facilities, view,... just interruption of wi-fi.
Clean Quiet Good TV package Expensive breakfast Parking is limited in number of places and very expensive
The staff was really good and the room really clean. The facilities are quite good. The heating system makes noise and at morning there was a lot of noise specially from people that cleaned the rooms.
The service, the people there were extremely helpful and really nice to talk to.The bedrooms were fab as well, although not cheap if you choose the ones with the seaview. Beach at the back is not very nice, but there is one not far away - 5 minutes in the car
Comfortable beds quite place, good breakfast We were waiting1,5 hour for check in due to cleaning of our room so got rooom st 16:30 the day we checked in. The staff in reception was joking from us saying first ať 15:00 then 15:20 etc- this was really unprofessional not matichinf 5* level of service. The WiFi has issue to connect with Apple devices so my iPad and iPhone were mít working all the time
nice good hotel, good food excelent room free internet very good hotel little expensive, there might be a party during your stay this can be noisy
The rooms, the views, the meals, the service... everything!! It's just gorgeous and well worth paying that little extra for a special treat!
The facilities and the room service.
It was a nice treat, a lot more than what I would pay for 1 night but it was worth it! The breakfast was fantastic.
Beautiful hotel in a quiet location overlooking estuary. room with a view & balcony elegant surroundings. excellent restaurant friendly staff
Luxurious hotel with large rooms and balcony with beautiful views and convenient to Vigo. Hotel pool ponly opens at noon
The hotel is outstanding. Once we got there we could not have been more satisfied with the setting, the facilities, the food, the staff. (Even if we did have to change our room to accommodate King Juan Carlos and his entourage.)
Small, correct, very calm, well located 5* hotel; Free parking; the staff was professional and very interested to help What's for the ambient music in the hotel corridors during the night? (it’s noisy when everything is silent)
Hight desing. Good quality and price. Excellent choice. Nothing. All was OK.
Only stayed here for one night, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Located in a great part of the city, very comfortable and the staff was incredibly helpful. Somewhat spotty wifi
Very friendly staff, clean and stylish hotel. I am back in Vigo in few months and I will be staying there again. I spent 5 nights in the hotel and I ate in the restaurant most evenings. The food was very good but every evening they had the same Bryan Adams CD playing in a loop. There is only so many times you want to hear some songs over dinner.
Fantastic location. New hotel, very clean, nice breakfast, nice staff. Parking extra cost. In a 4star hotel the parking should be free.
Clean, nice design, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Central. Beautiful view.
Modern, comfort and central.
The hotel has very low comfort! It is an old construction without any kind of soundproof between bedrooms. In the morning it seems the other guest are having shower in your own bed. Simply not recomendable! Improve soundproof between bedrooms.
that i was not charged for the use of the internet and the room was very quiet and comfortable no
Free parking, and really near of the city center of Valencia.
Was a nice hotel - was not long in the room - but had 2 good nights - breakfast ok and nice respons in reception.
Attention of employees :o)
The room was clean and double glazed windows kept out the noise from traffic. Extremely close to the ferry, which is great if you're going to the islands. Nice AC Palacio jelly beans : ) The fitness room was rather small, but it didn't bother me. The view on our fourth floor room was obstructed by a partial concrete wall, so we had to stand on a chair to see the harbour. Ask for rooms on the third floor down.
Nice building, friendly staff, location is lovely, good breakfast Parking is not great.
Beautiful and comfortable
very comfortable, good view of port, quiet,
I really enjoyed the design of the hotel, the spacious room and the lobby where a couple of informal business meetings took place with great success.
everything easy and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Concept of free mini bar makes a real difference! great no wifi in rooms (but not a problem as free wi-fi in lobby)
Location. Free WiFi and mini bar. Very helpful staff. The non-smoking room smelt slightly of cigarettes.
The interior and design of the rooms. no
Central location and availability of car parking on site. Good breakfast buffet to suit all tastes, but in small room. Steet side quite noisy on Friday night
Location and the breakfast. Within 5 minutes walk one is able to see all the attractions from Vigo. I was asking for a Iron to press my shirt in observance of a Business Meeting. This was not available.
Exceptional shower, good breakfast included, proxiity to bay and town.
Excellent location & easy to find
Good service, nice location
Close to center and to the sea. Clean and ok room. The parking in garage was a little expensive.
Very convenient location in the city and close to the marina and Vigo port making it possible to go on day trips.
Overall my experience was positive. The room, and facilities were good, and the room was serviced very well every day. The staff were helpfull when required. There was no facility in the room to make a cup of tea and also the cooked items at breakfeast were not kept hot.The staff were not very friendly compared to other hotels I have stayed at.
The location was perfect, near the marina, and the old town, shopping street, everything a stone's throw from the hotel! The rate was a little bit high...
Thank you very much for staying atthis hotel. It was really great impressions. thanks again
A horrible grotty hotel and i have no idea how this is 4 stars. I'd be hard pressed to give it two stars. The cafe is more like a bus station cafe than a four star hotel. Try sitting on the horrible cheap seats outside to get served. Up to half hour you could wait there before anyone came to serve. Mind you, it is a grotty place and i advise you don't bother sitting there, move on down the street to much nicer surroundings. There was nothing i liked about this hotel. I disliked everything about this hotel. I booked it for the harbour view, had an e mail confirming this, and when we got there we were told by en extremely unfriendly receptionist that we could not have a ahrbour view. There a much nicer hotels, the Ciudad and the Compostela just beside it.
service was great
The room was a good size and we had a great view of the port. It was in a good location and great value for money for a family. Due to roadworks it was dificult to find the hotel initially and also tricky to find parking for a larger sized car.
Street traders nearby were somewhat off putting Very Shabby for 4* Lifts very slow, and remained moving when lift doors were open. Reception greeting unwelcoming
It was central. The hotel apparently has a 4 star rating which is entirely unwarranted. The room was dirty, the bathroom fittings rusty and in general it would have benefited from a lick of paint.
The hotel is very well located for visiting the older parts of the town and the shopping areas. The parking facility in the Silo Parking opposite the hotel is not easy to use for larger cars and is somewhat expensive. The hotel is not really very easy to find from the centre of town, there is insufficient to zero sign posting to assist in finding it. We ended up hiring a taxi and following him.
Convenient for sailing marina. Clean and functional. Air conditioning in our room didn't work
This is a great hotel. Quite and safe. The staff was at hand and very helpful.
The view, friendly staff
Location was good on the seafront. Bar next door was convenient and had really friendly staff. Had great view from the room. Hotel easy to find in Garmin GPS and car park entrance next to reception. Definitely run down and needed refurbishment. Bathroom was knackered. Breakfast room was worn out. Most of the crockery at breakfast was still dirty/greasy - not nice. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
the best 2 star hotel ive stayed in nothing
We arrived at breakfast about a half hour before it was due to end, but found the tables piled high with used, dirty dishes, with no one to clear them. It was also apparent that no one had refreshed the food table more than once. We were also disappointed with the speed and helpfulness of reception. It is obvious that the hotel is understaffed.
A littlebit rundown. No noise isolation in the rooms.
Peacefull and good contacts to airports even early in the morning
cheap not immdiately in the city center.
location,spacious rooms,friendly staff
The bar and friendly staff The room was and felt very dirty, probably needs a refurb
Good location, good facilities for a 3-star, notably free wi-fi internet and good air-conditioning. Would recommend a fresh coat of paint and duvets instead of blankets - easier for all. When I first opened the bathroom door it smelled of stale urine. However after running the air-conditioning for a while the smell cleared.
Good comfortable hotel. Lots of excellent restaurants which we used for evening meal and breakfast Breakfast was expensive so had our at a local restaurant. Poor knowledge of Camino, which was the purpose of our stay
request non smoking room without any smell, very good. also very clear. I stay in Hotel Mexico in end Sep approx 12c at night but no warm air for that moment, feel a little cold.
The staff were completely unobtrusive so we could come and go as we pleased. We had a sea view and this was truly spectacular at night. A bit noisy but we were in a busy city and expected this.
Very good location, contemporary decor, good breakfast, and excellent service. Bed was too soft for my taste.
Breakfast, confort and clean. Doesn´t have car parking. It costs 8€/night in a near public park.
Very comfortable, very clean (!!!) hotel. The room was fantastic. Everything is well designed, very good quality for quite low price. The location is right in the centre, parking is near, 5 min walk. Staff spoke english, which is rare for Spain, and breakfast was very good. Really it is 4 star hotel, although it said it is 3 stars and they charge low prices. If we are back in Vigo, we will definitely stay at this hotel. Cant think of anything, which is rare for me!:)
We like to stay at this hotel very much and when we in Vigo again we will go to Iffinit.
clean, well located, staff professional and friendly, lovely lobby room drawers were just painted so the room smelled very much like fresh paint for days. Also, room internet does not work properly so do not get charged for it.
I was given a bottle of champagne as welcome gift to the hotel, the hotel staff is very friendly and the hotel rooms are beautifully designed
The design, high technology, modern details. Didn´t like the fact that my room 503 has the WC facilities of the other 2 surrounding rooms, both against the walls of my room. So, the other showers seemed like Niagara waterfalls inside my room, awakening me in "terror" in the middle of my sleep. Can the hotel review the noise isolation of bathrooms? Despite my reservation was made with one month in advance, the hotel gave me the worst room...
The staff and the design of the hotel was incredibly good. The hotel don't have a car park, so you need to pay for the public park.
Fantastic! Its position in a lovely part of town as well as the modern decor. Help from reception staff was beyond what I expected.
It was everything perfect!!!
Hotel Nautico is a small, nice hotel, situated very close to the port, marina and the old part of the city. The shopping district is also within a walking distance. Vigo is a pleasant place with friendly, though not English-speaking, people ;) The best of all was a visit to Islas CIes - absolute paradise on Earth. The Hotel is very clean, quiet and the staff are very friendly. The staff at the hotel do not speak English but, believe me, they are absolutely communicative :)
L ' estrema vicinanza al porto. La camera abbastanza spaziosa e confortevole, wi-fi nella stanza. / Hotel is just a small walk far from the harbour. Rooms are spacious enough and have wi-fi.
Central Position, staff friendly & helpful no tea making facilities in room and no lounge in hotel
Very helpful and friendly staff. Location. Dont bother to get breakfast there. Really nice cafeteria just in front of the ferry to Cies Islands' jetty. Very old rooms. Unbearable bed. Really old. Very noisy hotel, could hear even when other rooms open the tap.
Friendly, helpful staff - despite not sharing a common language. Some rooms are rather small - but clean and comfortable.
good location One disrespectful member of staff - misunderstood politeness for intrusiveness
Located very well near port and city centre. Despite my lack of Spanish and the receptionist's lack of English she managed to indicate where to park the car and ensure the parking ticket was stamped in order to get the appropriate discount.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The position of the hotel was ideal near Vigo's port and the city centre. The room was reasonably spacious and extremely comfortable, and I appreciated having a wireless internet connection. The only disturbance came from construction work outside, but this wasn't the hotel's fault.
Proximity to waterfront Hotel signage was tiny..... very small name on building.... easy to miss
the staff is polite and the well situated. free internet. too noisy... breakfast is really poor. expensive parking close to the hotel. because of the works on the street, complicate to find.
