Located in San Bartolome de Tirajana, Finca Tassomio - Adults Only is close to La Fortaleza Interpretation Center and Sorrueda Lookout.
Pros: Mario is a very attentive host, who likes everything to be OK for his guests. Breakfast is served with care and every day there is some variation in the food. Every day Mario guided us through what is worth visiting on the iseland. The B&B is located in a quite village in the mountains, great to calm down and relax. In the evening you can stay in the village for dinner: there are 2 restaurants (and 1 extra for lunch) that serve good food. It's also an ideal location for hiking: several trails are crossing the village. Sea side is at only 25min driving.
Cons: A larger swimming pool might make the stay even more complete :-)
Pros: location was perfect ideal for walking wonderful scenery breakfast was wonderful
Pros: Excellent stay. Great and very warm host. The apartment is in an old beautiful house with a private garden.
Pros: Large room. Spacious, well furnished quality house. Lovely garden/orchard to sit an chill and watch the birds. Very attentive host. Opposite the pub.
Pros: Mario, with his personal approach and good suggestions for trips. The excellent breakfast, the fantastic room, the ideal position in the centre of Fataga. Mario, we call him super Mario, even thought how to deal with one of our diet wishes.
Cons: Cannot think of anything not being okay... Even all details are thought of!
Pros: we were hiking from North to South and had a great stay- lovely Finca with attention to details, super comfy beds, amazing breakfast and a very attentive, welcoming host. Definitely recommended.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Pros: Lovely secluded quiet rural accommodation with beautiful gardens
Pros: Perfect for a quiet retreat. Everything was excellent, especially the garden, the furniture and the breakfast. The hosts were warm and truly committed, full of attentions, thanks a lot to them
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: Superb location, very friendly hosts, very clean beautiful rooms with excellent facilities !
Pros: Amazing place with better hosts. We did love the comfort and style of the villa, the tranquility and the lovely breakfast in the sun. We will come back. Great experience. Five stars!!
Pros: Available hosts, feeling like home and very quiet place out in the mountains. Such a lovely experience. Definitely going back there if we were to come back to the Gran Canaria island. The pictures don't speak exactly how nice the place is. We drove a few times to the beach and it wasn't long or annoying at all, because the drive to get there is splendid, it's a very good location.
Pros: Great garden, awesome little hideaway, with very generous and caring hosts.
Cons: A monumental screw up and horrific customer service by booking.com - had nothing to do with owner of property and they absolutely did their best to repair the initial drama.
When you stay at Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be connected to the convention center, within a 10-minute walk of Maspalomas Lighthouse and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The cleanliness of the rooms and the pool area were excellent. The entertainment at night was also excellent. I really liked the "Circus" show. The food is good and changes everyday. Everyday there was a different theme. Mexican/Sushi/etc. It's a great hotel for kids. If you have a kid that doesn't walk yet, the pool has sand where the kid can crawl and play. The location is pretty good too. There is a beach nearby (10 min walk), a supermarket (10 min walk) and lots of bars, restaurants and commerce near the supermarket. We didn't even have to leave the area. There are also bicycles, segways and somekind of eletric sand motorbikes for rent if you feel in the mood to drive them. We requested a transfer from the Hotel which was pretty good. Had Wi-Fi, a baby seat and was very comfortable. It was twice the price of a regular cab for the same distance but baby safety first. And since it's a 30 min ride from the airport to the Hotel, the best thing we did was not having to worry about requesting a cab and all the fear and annoyances of transporting a baby in our lap and worry if the baby car would fit in the trunk. The transfer was there at the hour we arrived and at the hour we had to leave with everything ready for our baby offering a smooth transportation to and from the hotel.
Cons: The most idiotic thing about the hotel that I didn't like and felt it was very disrespectful was the fact that it was very hot on the first night and I wore long shorts to go to the restaurant (it was not bath shorts) it was some classy long shorts I use on special occasions. When I reached the restaurant the lady didn't let me in because and i quote "pants and shoes or snickers are mandatory at night". I had to go back up change my shorts to long pants to have my dinner in that hot day. Such a hassle with my wife and baby waiting. When I get inside the restaurant there are all these women with their breasts jumping around, no bras, some even had those mini shorts with parts of their butts showing, flip flops were being used by women aswell. I look at all the men and every single one was indeed in pants and shoes or snickers. Ok got it. The restriction is only applied to men. I understand the point of view of the managers, they want to drag attention to the women but having a restriction of this kind only applied to men is completely unfair specially on a hot day. When the room was booked and we selected to have dinner included it was not mentioned anywhere that the drinks had to be paid and were not included. In most hotels, the guests have a variety of juices to choose from and 2 bottles of whatever drink they choose and then the rest is paid as extra. I did not like the fact that I selected the dinner option and then be presented with drinks as extra, specially taking into account that the price of the drinks was 3 times the price of the same drink in a local restaurant. The quality of the restaurant "Alpendre" main dish was not good. The deserts however were excellent. It really needs to improve in the main dish because we tried it twice and didn't like it, all the other days we went to eat outside, I also heard other guests saying the food was just "regular" and it was better to go out to eat.
Pros: Perfect location, beautiful garden, lots of pools.
Pros: Beautiful and well looked after gardens and very well designed hotel. The gym is well equipped and spacious.
Cons: Unacceptable to see a 5* hotel which thrives to be 'the best hotel on the island' to not provide free wifi in the rooms and to be asking guests to pay for the safe in the rooms. Also no drinking water provided in the rooms.
Pros: Great breakfast,friendly staff
Pros: Great hotel I would go back there again. The heated quiet pool is amazing and such a good idea. Please dont change this other hotels should adopt this policy. The food is amazing and the pools are clean. the only downside is having to pay extra for wifi and a safe. But overall excellent hotel.
Cons: Poor Wifi service
When you stay at Hotel Riu Palace Oasis in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be by the ocean, within a 10-minute walk of Maspalomas Lighthouse and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was perfect! The staff are so friendly and helpful ,great facilities and the food is excellent! Thank you for a pleasant stay .
Pros: Beautifully clean, extremely friendly staff, great choice at breakfast
Cons: Limited drinks service around the pool and few English TV channels
Pros: Everything. Amazing hotel. Staff all extremely friendly, attentive.
Pros: Beautiful hotel excellent location, really good food and fantastic selection. The room very clean, and the bed very comfortable. Very family friendly. I can really just recommend for every one
Pros: Perfect location, very clean and extremely friendly staff
Pros: Food was great staff very friendly and helpful. Right on the beach and bars and restaurants would recommend
Pros: Hotel was very clean. Food was good
Cons: We have asked for higher floor at the time of the booking and received confirmation from the hotel that our request is possible. On arrival we got the room in the other building and on the ground floor level! We also felt that the lady at the reception was not really helpful. She didn’t even offer us a glass of water on arrival. She hasn’t properly explained the facility but simply handled a map.
With a stay at Gold By Marina - Adults Only, you'll be centrally located in San Bartolome de Tirajana, within a 5-minute drive of Yumbo Shopping Center and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Location is amazing. So near the beach and shops.
Cons: Expensive and breakfast wasn’t included.
Pros: They were all very service minded. I highly recommend the massage person there. Such an adorable person, and good massage. We loved getting complimentary water bottles in our room every day. The water is from the local mineral spring at the north of the island, and its very tasty. Never had to hustle to get sunbeds. Very clean rooms and rest of hotel. Ample parking. We were handed a key to open the chains that prevented outsiders to park. Worked very well, right outside the hotel. Hotel had a grocery store outside with a good selection. A short walk to the beach. Two gourmet restaurants, one right on the spot (La Palmera Sur) and one just down the road (360°) , as well as a fast food place on every corner. The breakfast staff is so helpful. You can get pancakes, bacon and eggs, omelettes prepared or just ask for anything you want and they can get you most anything it seems. Pleasd notify staff of any special allergies or preferences, and they will accommodate. View is ok. Its not directly on the beach, but the sea view isn't too bad considering. Beds soft and very comfortable. Nice pillow selection.
Cons: The bathrooms are strange. The toilets are in the same room as the shower, and the design has left the space for the toilet so tiny that I had trouble closing the door. The shower on the other hand was massive, and could easily fit four adults. If you are a large person you might want to step into the shower to close/open the bathroom door :-D lol Furthermore, when you wash your hands, the basin is outside the bathroom door and there is an open sollution to the rest of the room, so you might wake up your travel companion in the night. The cocktails at the pool bar are not very good, some of the worst I've had, and cost 6 euros even for a non alcoholic drink with just orange juice and grenadine. The food is also quite poor unfortunately, and I recommend going outside to the restaurant Mana 264 at Jumbo instead. Also, one option is to go for the buffet at the TUI Family Life Orquidea at Bahia Feliz. Only 16 euros and a huge selection. Lastly, we didnt appreciate having to pay 1 euro to weigh our suitcase, just as a matter of principle having paid over 200 euros a night... Breakfast was quite good, but is lacking signs to describe what types of meat and other foods are presented.
Pros: Cool spot - great staff, very comfortable and good location. They arranged excellent transfers from and to airport. The breakfast chef: she is wonderful - so pleasant and obliging. Rafa and the front desk team are very professional
Cons: They gym is very small
Pros: Just a great hotel.
Cons: Paella could have been better.
Pros: Shower room
Cons: Fabric instead of doors for the closet
When you stay at Hotel Riu Papayas in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 5-minute drive of Yumbo Shopping Center and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
Pros: Excellent location to Yumbo Easy to get taxi Close to restaurants Lots of drawers and closet space
Cons: Need a microwave and coffee maker The noise from the stage at the poor can be troublesome Floor layouts are a bit strange Some lifts (elevators) were out of service No free Wi-Fi
When you stay at Bull Costa Canaria & Spa - Adults only in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Yumbo Shopping Center and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Loved almost everything. Staff are friendly, the place is spotless, comfy beds, buffet food good. Nice spa, great rooftop terrace with jacuzzi. Enjoyed the Pilates, aqua aerobics, archery and shooting (all included). Really a lovely place to unwind. Should at that the average age of guests in winter is 75, so if you're looking for good nightlife this isn't the place for you, but it suited us as we just wanted to relax.
Cons: The Friday barbecue was a disappointment. Undercooked meat, cross-contamination with cooking utensils. However, our comments were taken on board and we were offered a choice of other food (we were half board). Not sure about sunbed reservation system. Saved rushing in the morning, but then you're stuck in the same place unless you want to go hunting for beds without tags.
Pros: The facilities are very good and well organised e.g great to be able to reserve sun lounger for the duration of stay . Staff ..courteous and helpful . Rooms well furnished and wifi reliable . Hotel very clean and well maintained . Location is good ...quiet and relaxing. Local bus service ....directly outside the hotel ...is very efficient also .
Pros: It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful.
Cons: We wanted something quiet - don’t come if you’re looking for a party. Some of the dinner options at the buffet cater to the many German guests. However there are lots of options and we ate well.
Pros: We both really enjoyed the Spa Facilities, the Dead Sea pool is something else! Very clean tidy hotel.
Pros: The food was very good and the service too. The staff were helpful and did all they could to help us with anything we needed. The hotel facilities were modern and comfortable, and location excellent, right on the promenade.
Cons: The room we stayed in was in need of an update, although it was quite adequate for our needs. We chose the room for its location separate from the main hotel building, in the gardens. It was more private than the other rooms.
Pros: Loved the bungolw by the pool. Spa, darkroom, roof terrace all excellenct. Breakfast every morning was spectacular, also the gym we used these facilities every day. A big thank you to the staff who always made us welcome
Cons: 10 min walk to San Agustin shopping centre especially at night if you wish an evening meal out. Not sure if taxi will take you. Also no ATM in hotel. The evening entertainment very poor catered for Germans which l felt left out being English.
Cons: The way they give you the sun bed. All guests get their sun bed, men verty few use their sun bed, i.e. that a lot of sun beds was not available for us.
Pros: Locatation and facilities. Warm pool water. Service by polite staff

Pros: It’s located in the beautiful town Telde. The hostel is beautiful and clean everywhere. The owner Rita is such a nice and lovely girl. She gives me all the informations I needed and we spent a pleasant time together. You can’t miss it when you visit Gran Canaria!
Pros: Rita the receptionist was friendly, welcoming and respectful. The place was clean, everything the room, the bed, the kitchen, and the Bathroom. A closet to put your valuable things in it. The hostel is in the middle of everything there are restaurants nearby, supermarkets and shops.
Cons: However, smoking is not allowed inside the building, only in the open area inside the hostel, but it would be perfect if smoking is not allowed at all.
Pros: Amazing host, very clean, good location in the non touristic part, it felt like living as a family there
Pros: Awesome place, super helpful staff.
Pros: It's very clean. The female dorm had loads of space. Rita was informative and funny and she taught me some Spanish
Cons: The bathroom light turning off numerous times whilst taking a shower. No coffee machine.
Pros: Good kitchen clean bathroom
Pros: Love this clean friendly place
Cons: All good
Pros: Very convenient location, dormitory and kitchen well organized and spotless. Rita the receptionist was more than kind and helpful. An absolute overall 10 out of 10 without any doubt. Thanks a lot.
Located in Aguimes, Quintana Rooms is within a 5-minute drive of Playa del Zoco Negro and Cabrón Beach.
Pros: New furniture and new bathroom, everything you need. Small own terrace Really nice staff!
Cons: It was an apartment, shared with other people, what we did not know, or did not realize. But we had booked the suite with own bathroom and small terrace, so there is enough privacy!
Pros: Great location, clean & tidy, very accommodating host!
Cons: I didn't realise it was shared facilities but not a problem. They could do with a sign
Pros: Staff were wonderful Helpful polite and the room was very clean.
Pros: Place was very clean, very easy to find, close to the beach/restaurants. Everything you need was provided (going the extra mile with iron board and hair dryer). Small nice touches fron the owner. We will come back!
Cons: Not very charming.
Pros: It is almost in style like hotel...you got some free bottles of water and even a sweet surprise....wery high standard in that price level ;) + easy free parking nearby ;)
Cons: The host does not know speak English at all but he uses some Google translate app so at the end it was Ok ;) in case you would like to spend there some time in that location bare in mind it is quite windy.... But we used it just for one night. + The flat is shared with others (3more rooms I guess) ;) + finding the property was little problem you have to call the host that he would come so maybe call him 10min in advance that you do need to wait :)
Pros: The host was the best! Very helpful and friendly!

With a stay at Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort, Corallium, Spa & Casino in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Maspalomas Lighthouse and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: almost everything was excellent
Cons: we paid a lot of money and then you have to pay extra for safe and internet(just include in price).5 minute walk to room (no problem)then have to come back to reception and queue to book a safe(very annoying). also for a quality hotel it was very poor internet speed
Cons: I upgraded to the unique package for a little over €1,000. Definitely not worth it. Was upgraded to a junior suite which was just the same as a regular room but with an extra living room area with a sofa, small table and chairs. The advantages of unique are minimal. Same food, same locations. The unique experience in Boabab is much better.
Pros: The location was perfect. Clean all throughout. Pools and the hotel layout was great.
Pros: Check-in was terrible, they tried to charge €2000 more than booking.com’s quote. They then debited the full payment from my debit card. The transaction was approved but, they informed me that it was cancelled. I called my bank and they confirmed that the payment had gone through. In the meantime the receptionist tried another 3 times to take payment and managed to get my card blocked by the fraud department. It was late at night, 11pm & we had been travelling all day with our 3 young children. As you can imagine, it was extremely stressful. We got the impression that we were not welcome in their hotel.
Cons: We didn’t like the attitude of the staff. They seem to make a fuss of certain nationalities in the dining room, at the pool, in the lobby etc. Everything requires extra payment, tennis, mini golf, even to change your pool towel has a charge. There is an element of hierarchy within the hotel. Some guests are ‘unique’, some are standard. The unique guests have specific areas cordoned off for them around the swimming pools - however, they tend not to use them, resulting in it being difficult for ‘normal’ guests to find sun loungers, whilst lots of empty beds remain that we couldn’t access!
Cons: The food was made for German and english... With no touch of real Spanish food!!!!
Pros: The cleaness everywhere in the hotel, gardens, Spa, pools. All the staff is polite, helpful, smiling, a kind word . I loved the breakfast buffet a lot Entertainment in the evening of qualitty. the running waiters . I thank the managment of hotel to put a bottle of red wine and 2 glasses in the room for my 70th birhday . Nice attention
Cons: The starters at dinning buffet were the same during our one week stay,We would expect a bit more variety and imagination. Anyway it was good
The famous Sol Barbacan Hotel in Playa del Inglés. Enjoy the spacious, luxurious apartments or stay in one of the comfortable bungalows in the beautiful gardens. Relax near one of the three swimming pools. Our expert staff really know what true hospitality is all about. Sports enthusiasts can test themselves on the beach volleyball court or in our new gym. You can wind down in the privacy of your bungalow or on your spacious balcony, browsing or sending pictures using our Wi-Fi. In our excellent restaurant you can order the most delicious dishes. You can end the day on our trendy lounge terrace and look back on yet another great day.
Pros: Pools, facilities and apartments were excellent.
Cons: Some of the staff were a little grumpty at times but they were in the minority
Pros: Our 4th stay here and as good if not better than before would definitely book again
Pros: Great hotel 10 out of 10. We were in apartment 460 best apartment in my opinion sun from 11am in the morning until sun sets. Cleaning 10 out of 10 Location 10 out of 10 Swimming pools 10 out of 10 in particular the one that was heated. Sunbeds plenty of them for everyone. Our flight was at night and I asked to stay longer for a late checkout which I got for an extra cost of 30 euros that I payed happily. What a great service, the hotel staff take pride in meeting all the wishes they are abel to grant. Thank you staff of Sol Barbacan for a lovely stay. I will be back.
Pros: Great pool facilities and kept very clean
Cons: Access to property with a baby pram was difficult
Pros: Excellent friendly helpful staff. Central location. Perfect Hotel offers great entertainment day and night. The entertainment staff couldn't be more helpful who went out of there way to accommodate and encourage taking part in activities. Couldn't ask for better apartment maintained by olga who gave 1st class service with additional personal touch. Hoping to come back next year. *****
When you stay at HD Parque Cristóbal Gran Canaria in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be in the entertainment district, within a 5-minute drive of Yumbo Shopping Center and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great quality food and complex as a whole was set out really well. Entertainers were fun also and got everybody involved.
Cons: We request late checkout when we checked in, we were told we can only do it on the day of departure, we asked reception at 8am for a late checkout to be told it’s impossible. It was quite frustrating as we would have been able to prepare knowing we couldn’t have it.
Pros: Very convenient hotel. Good front desk staff. Kids loved it!
Cons: The beds could be more comfortable. Interior doors need a little maintenance.
Pros: The accommodation was lovely, cleaning staff efficient and friendly, the complex was very family-friendly.
Cons: 17 euro for the loan of an iron.
Pros: Love the 2 bed bungalows. The whole place was kept spotlessly clean. Great for kids, 2 playgrounds. Splash park, slides for older and younger children.
Cons: The bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable. We ended up swapping with the kids and my husband and I slept in their single beds... much more comfy.
Pros: The kids pool. The kids play area. The buffet.
Cons: Staying in the room near the reception with a baby was horrible during the night due to the night entertainment disturbing her sleep. Sometimes while eating at the restaurant there were flies which was an unpleasant feeling.
Pros: well equipped and maintained bungalow, two pools, interesting animations/performance, free and easy parking, ...
Cons: ants in the room, ugly wrist band, not near to the beach (free shuttle available)
Pros: All inclusive brilliant with kids.
With a stay at Hotel Rural Casa de los Camellos in Aguimes, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Barranco de Guayadeque and within a 5-minute drive of Nostra Senora de la Candelaria Church. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: The location was excellent, places of interest were within walking distance. The bus station was nearby, where I could get buses to travel around the island. The staff at the hotel were welcoming, professional and most helpful. I wish to thank them all for making my stay most enjoyable. This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel.
Cons: It was very cold at night in the room!!!
Pros: The staff were so friendly! Don't let the word "rural" scare you. The location is well populated and central (unlike the center of the island like Tejeda). The town of Agüimes is so pretty! The hotel is so charming. From wood, metal and stones -- they've restored so much of history and presented it back to you thoughtfully.
Cons: There are no elevators. We stopped at this hotel in the middle of a long journey so we had big and heavy suitcases. We also asked for them to store them at the office so we don't have to carry them up the stairs - they denied that option as well. If you are traveling lighter than us, it's a great hotel to stay at!
Pros: Location was fantastic.
Cons: Beds were hard, breakfast was terrible (sorry, but it was). Instead of the free breakfast at the hotel, we bought breakfast at the lovely little tea shop next door. We stayed 3 nights, but bottles of water were only given on the first night.
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: Beds are realy hard and rooms are noisy, you can hear your nybors talk and hear every word
Pros: the receptionist helped me with something l could not do on my phone. the hotel is well located in the town.
Cons: everything was nice.
Pros: - Very pretty hotel at the heart of Agüimes - Very friendly and attentive staff - Agüimes is a very quaint, attractive town
Cons: - Breakfast was rather on the simple side. No warm elements and old, stale buns that you as guest would toast up again at the spot. - Agüimes is very quiet. We were here during the week, but no restaurant was open at 21:00 - The beds were not too comfortable and the bathroom also pretty basic. Nothing outrageous or really bad, it is just okay.
With a stay at SENTIDO Gran Canaria Princess - Adults Only in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Yumbo Shopping Center and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Second time for me in this hotel and again it was a great stay. Staff helpful and very accomodating. Clean, new and equipped with lots of things to do.
Cons: The food as been overall good although more variety in the dinner buffet across the days would be great.
Pros: This hotel was really good choice for my honeymoon They have do evrything that I had great stay in this hotel
Pros: All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. All inclusive was definitely worth it.
Pros: Very good animation-crew, not crowded at all around the pool, clean room with good view and good wellness-areas.
Cons: Food could have been better and the gym a little larger.
Pros: Excellent service and great location, another fine stay at Sentido Princess. Fresh and tasty spread at breakfast, front desk always helpful with room allocation and this time the room amenities with personalised letter topped the experience. You are in good hands there and we will very happily return.
Cons: Shower mixers still need some attention, you occasionally get a splash of hot water while showering.

With a stay at AxelBeach Maspalomas Apartments & Lounge Club - Adults Only, you'll be centrally located in San Bartolome de Tirajana, within a 5-minute drive of Yumbo Shopping Center and Maspalomas Dunes. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Location and friendly staff
Cons: Rooms decorated with bright white white light. Not very cosy, black white and white light.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Clean accommodation and good breakfast. Well landscaped grounds.
Cons: Was expecting more for the money in this resort. The staff were very obliging but were not able to get the room safe to work. Resort seems to cater for a younger crowd who like very loud music by the pool. We were told that the hotel was a ‘straight hotel’ so clothing optional sunbathing was not permitted.
Pros: The hotel location is really convenient, and the rooms are modern and very well looked after. As usual, staff were amazing! Thanks again Ivan for looking after us :)
Pros: Location, staff
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were well kept and cleaned daily. The pool area was always cleaned and offered sufficient space for sunbathing. The pool could have been heated as it was too cold to use. Overall a good standard of accommodation.
Cons: Axelbeach restaurant was underused and offered only a very basic menu of burgers, club sandwich and a couple of salads. Breakast was adequate with the buffet choice available. One disappointing aspect was the pool bar closing at 6pm. Given the gay clientele, more could have been done after 6pm to make the axelbeach more sociable by providing guests the opportunity to mix and get to know each other. It would have been the ideal place to meet before heading out for the night - topless barmen? DJ?
Pros: The team at Axel are amazing. Friendly, professional and really really nice. It was another wonderful and welcoming stay. Thanks especially to Ivan, Domingo, the other front office team and the housekeeping and breakfast team. Am looking forward to my next stay early next year. Thanks again Axel!
Pros: Location is excellent. Overall cleanliness and room size were very good. Grounds were nice.
Cons: Hot water system sucks. scalding to lukewarm temperature changes every couple of minutes is unacceptable for a relatively expensive luxury resort. This wasn't just my room - other friends experienced similar issues in a room at the other end of the hotel. Food at onsite cafe mediocre.
When you stay at Hotel Las Tirajanas in San Bartolome de Tirajana, you'll be in the mountains, within a 5-minute drive of Las Tirajanas Winery and Pilancones Natural Park. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in San Bartolome de Tirajana? This hotel has facilities measuring 1453 square feet (135 square meters), including conference space. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location, friendly thoughtful staff. Wonderful breakfast and free bottle of wine (per day). One of the best.
Cons: Incorrect information about the bus times. They might have had more English TV channels.
Cons: How are you allowed to serve such poor quality of food? Please increase the price of your half board and at least serve fresh products, please! Food in overall is disgusting / very bad quality.
Pros: Initially we were a little sceptical about pre-ordering the main course. However, this turned out to be a good variety of choice and generally food was of a high standard. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Very nice location. Very quiet and relaxing. Good price for what you get here, I liked this place! Try the Thai massage, it is simply fabulous!
Pros: breakfast was brilliant..
Cons: it is not value for money ...more a two star hotel..
Pros: The location is wonderful. Beautiful views of the mountains around it. The spa was very relaxing. The staff were wonderful and very helpful and the breakfast buffet very complete.
Cons: The furniture was old, it could have done with a fresh layer of paint and th cleanliness in the room itself was below standard.
With a stay at Casa Rural La Piedra Viva in Aguimes, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Barranco de Guayadeque and within a 5-minute drive of Nostra Senora de la Candelaria Church.
Pros: The location and staff were helpful
Cons: No fan in the room upon arriving for the first night very uncomfortable No breakfast offered but I believe it was advertised
Pros: Practical and good value. Local pub really good
Cons: Concierge had zero english. No name on premises. Taxi got lost
Pros: Authentic and charming
Cons: Help yourself breakfast
Pros: Absolutely beautiful little place. The rooms and the communal spaces (a little courtyard and living room/kitchen) are adorable. The room we had was big, comfortable and cosy. The location is perfect in the old town of Aguimes. A real gem of a place!
Pros: A special place to stay, a beautiful traditional Canarian house in the old town centre.
Pros: great LOCATION OPPOSITE MUSEUM. RELATIVELY QUIET, EASY WALK TO BUS STATION AND NEAR THE OLD PART OF THE TOWN WHICH IS LOVELY..tHE KITCHEN IS VERY WELL EQUIPPED. I TOLD THEM I WAS ARRIVING LATE AND THEY WERE WAITING FOR ME. I WAS ABLE TO SPEND AN ENJOYABLE MORNING READING IN THE COURTYARD AND FELT WELCOME.
Cons: MY FIRST NIGHT SINGLE BED WAS FAR TOO HARD BUT THE PROPRIETERS KNOW THIS AND WANTED TO MOVE ME BEFORE I TOLD THEM THIS. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY BUT SPOKE VERY LITTLE ENGLISH OVERALL. IT IS THEREFORE MUCH EASIER JUST TO GET A TAXI HERE - DO NOT BOTHER TO BOOK ONE BEFORE HAND.
Pros: Nice large room. Comfy bed.Nice decor. great location with street parking.Close to airport.
Cons: Could not access the WiFi
Pros: Staff willing to help. Cleaniliness is top priority for them
Cons: Noise from the moving trucks off the main toad
With a stay at Hotel Rural Villa de Agüimes in Aguimes, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Barranco de Guayadeque and within a 5-minute drive of Nostra Senora de la Candelaria Church. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: The location is superb and the staff is very helpful. We did not stay at the Hotel Rural Villa Aguimes but we had an upgraded to Hotel Rural Casa de Los Camellos which is a very nice hotel. The decorations keep the atmosphere of boutique and traditional Spanish casa style. We also got an email to inform us before checking in that we are upgraded. It means that the management is excellent. We also leave in the morning for the flight back home. Aguimes would be an excellent choice as it is near the airport especially if you have a morning flight.
Cons: The only thing missing is the elevator. But we totally understand it is only a 2-floor building that perhaps does not need any lift. We wish if the breakfast has boiled egg or fried egg would be lovely.
Pros: Super clean and comfortable. Convenient overnight stop near Airport. Nice internal patios.
Cons: Nearby cafés/bars open quite late in the morning - not good for breakfast choice. Church with loud chimes very near!
Pros: Very good old furniture. Very central
Cons: A lot of noise from the street until 1:00
Pros: There was everything my little heart desired. I was hungry actually, having worked hard over the previous day, and I must say breakfast offered everything.
Cons: This is a general criticism of this part of the world and not really particular to this property. It is the water. I am used to drinking pure water. I do not like water from the public supply, which is full of chlorine and other toxic substances. I would also like to have had a bottle of water in the room. Really this is a very small point, and I must mitigate with saying again what a great stay I had.
Pros: Spacious room, good internet and the overall impression of the hotel was very good, a beautifully kept historic place in the heart of the old town, ideal for an evening stroll.
Cons: Finding a place to park the car can be somewhat of a mission in the late afternoon hours, be prepared to circle the neighbourhood a few times.
Pros: Good location. Good breakfast. Character rooms.
Cons: Lack of comfort as it was cold. Very noisy bar directly opposite.
Pros: Nice vintage look to the hotel, and the view from room.
Cons: Did not stayed long enough to observe what could have been improved.
Pros: Lovely location and breakfast. Friendly staff
Cons: It was carnival with loud music until 5am close by. The reception staff asked if we had received an email informing us of this. I can't find any email warning us of this ( which isn't to say that I definitely didn't receive it). Some people would view proximity to an all night party to be a positive thing and obviously it was enjoyed by many people. I'd just suggest that the hotel checks it's communication systems to ensure that people do know in advance. Perhaps providing earplugs as Inhave seen in other hotels which tend to be noisy?
Pros: Lovely old building and town (but note we ended up staying in the parent hotel to the one we booked). The staff helped store our bicycles securely.
Cons: The only disappointment was the breakfast - coffee was undrinkable - bread was bland etc / poor for such a lovely hotel.

Pros: Some of the staff are amazing! Special thanks for Antonio and Maria!
Pros: Clean and nice rooftop with seaviews.
Cons: It's not very cosy. The lights are too bright.
Pros: Modern and clean. Rooftop space relaxing
Cons: Food at dinner buffet could have been much better.
Pros: Room & view from balcony seaside.
Cons: Would like to see more regular provision of the Cava sparkling wine at breakfast as used to the case- only provided on a sunday whereas used to be every couple of days- please bring that service back as it makes the holiday
Pros: A big thank you to the entire service staff, very polite, helpful.Redgards to Antonio. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Dining on the outdoor terrace is excellent.
Cons: There was no promised WiFi room (328room), the signal is so weak, only at the door it was possible to catch. Animation in the evenings is for more aged people and very short. Music everywhere sounded very good, but very quiet.
Pros: No WiFi No aircon Bad staff AVOID
Cons: No WiFi No aircon Bad staff AVOID
Pros: Everything- staff were great, good selection of buffet food, lots of veggies and salad
Cons: Be good to have washable plastic cups round the pool. Good paper straws

Pros: Good food options each day
Cons: Position of our room next to cleaning cupboard
Pros: Rooms and pool
Cons: Food was ok
Pros: Loved the location
Cons: Rooms weren’t as clean as before
Cons: We arrived around midnight but the all inclusive had stopped I think a couple of bottles of water would of been nice considering we paid for 7 days yet we only facilitated 5 and a half
Pros: Really nice hotel. Food was so delicious. Close to the beach and to the shops. Staff so friendly and always happy to help. The entertainment team absolutely amazing, specially Jose. We will definitely return.
Cons: No nuggets for my boys ☹️
Pros: Very good wines on the all inclusive.
Cons: Whitout double bed!
Pros: All staff excellent especially the restaurant staff and Jose from the animation team! Was celebrating my birthday with friends and they all went above and beyond to make it special
Cons: Would have been good to have some more snack options between meal times
Pros: Great hotel. Entertainment of an evening wasn’t nearly as good as we thought and some nights they didn’t even put any on. Food was nice, location good and next to the beach with lots to do. Rooms really nice.
