Modern and interesting
the views we wonderful. the owner spoke good english and gave directions to local beauty spots and resturants. there was no efficent a/c had to leave window open all night and all that was heard was traffic.also there was no resturant on site.
Carmen and her husband were wonderful hosts at this hotel. Carmen could not do enough for us - she was thoughtful, full of useful information and knows the best places to eat. The sea views are very good. The room was spacious and the bathrooms very modern and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh and there was enough variety. We stayed 3 days and I could have stayed for many more. Nothing.
Charming hosts, a modern but small hotel with panoramic coastal views make this an unbeatable base for exploring the best of Galicia.
helpful host no
Staff were very friendly and helpful although they had little English and we little Spanish. They were smiley and gave good service. The hotel seemed rather airless on a warm evening - partly a matter of design - not possible to shut shutters and allow a flow of air. Also as it was before the season proper they were painting and the smell discouraged opening the windows.
Hotel was new and modern, bright with high level of cleanliness. Proprietors were very hospitable and friendly, and went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Needs air-conditioning
Impressive architectural design, hotel owned by one family who took care of us like family. That was the reason to extend our stay with an additional day. You must be as though as a woman to enter the pool, because it is quite refreshing
It was clean, staff were incredibly friendly (even went out of their way to find a petrol station for us!), it was warm (outside was not!, Perfectly located for visiting our family
Modern design like rooms, away from the main road with a swimming pool overlooking the Bay.
Very friendly staff - despite the language barrier, nothing was too difficult. Room very comfortable, well furnished and spacious.
congratulations for this hotel, the most confortable I've been in a fantastic place known as secret region. It's been a real pleasure look the clouds throw the window in the north wind, laying on the bed after a jacuzzi bath
Viento del Norte has nice clean rooms, staff is very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast is varied. The hotel is located in a very nice environment where you can enjoy the "wilderness with wild waves and cliffs" and empty beaches.
Great friendly staff, very helpful even if not knowing English. They're fans of their region, gave us valuable advices for the following trip.
the superior double room was amazing, big and decorated tastefully with attention to detail. It had a nice view and a fantastic bathroom with jacuzzi. Breakfast was poor, sure they can make something better.
refurbished rooms. modern design.
Friendly welcoming staff and stylish rooms in a beautiful location overlooking the beach. Would definitely stay there again.
The room was really amazing, lovely views, a huge bathroom, everything had been done to a high standard and you really felt this.
Quiet village, not many tourists, and great beaches. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they even have mountain bikes for their guests. Simple but good enough breakfast.
The owner was very helpful and spoke good English. It was in a good location for restaurants and bars.
Good centre for exploring the area. Very clean and tidy. Excellent sea-food restaurant near at hand. Problems with door entry system.
Nice, rather hostel-like hotel. Friendly boss and staff. A bit far from the sea.
Nicely renovated casa rural. Located on a hill side with Beautiful views of the coastline. Perfect for wildlife spotting. We saw several deer and a family of wild boars came to eat apples in the garden of the casa rural. Great experience !! Cleanliness in the kitchen. Refrigerator did not give us an impression that hygiene was dealt with adequatly. We preferred eating out in the villages closeby. Especially the restaurants in the harbours are worthwhile. Breakfast was limited to toast with jam and some breakfast cake.
