Lovely small family-run hotel. Excellent value. Probably the friendliest, most helpful hotel we ever stayed in. They speak only a little English, but no deterrent to their helpfulness, and ensuring that we explored the best of the surrounding countryside - interesting villages, mountain scenery, etc. Weekday fixed price lunch is excellent value. Dinner menu looked good but rather rmore expensive. Everything was perfect for us. Especially being in a small quiet village in the countryside. But doubtless some visitors will prefer a busy town/city location with lots of bars and nightlife etc. If so, this may not be for you.
good service; kidness, clean, modern, calm, beautiful decoration no phone in the room
Lovely hotel, beautifully furnished. Good value. A shame the restaurant only opened for dinner at 9.30pm - so not really suitable for small children (although they did do a good menu infantil) - Breakfast was also late- from 9,30am - so again - not ideal for the kids.
Hotel staff not especially helpfull reguarding the evening meal although the revceptionst was brilliant
The restaurant in the evening run by the friendly lady owner was enjoyable and the meal of high quality. The Wi-Fi worked in our room (No. 4). It's in the middle of nowhere, in a village road beside the motorway, so we were able to park out front, even though the description says not. For a very cheap hotel it's surprisingly good, and better than it looks from the outside. The breakfast is not available until 9.15 and it isn't worth the wait. There is only a tiny sign on the B&B and we drove by it twice, trying to find the place without realising we had already arrived.
Friendly and helpful staff Good atmosphere Excellent food and drink
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotelbar frequented by locals as well as guests. Totally quiet countryside. Floor heating in bathroom. Sound isolation room-to-room non-existant. Too much smell of air-freshener in room. Breakfast a bit on the ascetic side. But allover a very nice place to stay.
Clean and close to main route as stopover Their restaurant is closed and the Hotel appears to be on the market. It was very hard to find in a small village. Neither Sat Nav or your route got us too close
AC in room
More than 2 star
Friendly staff. Very new hotel with nice mod cons. Free WiFi was a nice bonus. Strange that staff looked after hotel, bar/cafe and petrol station, but it works well. Location was great for us driving from Portugal to Santander ferry port. Very flexible arrangements once we spoke with the staff. We booked 2 rooms as with two children and the strange child policy via booking.com we assumed only one child per room. They put a camp bed and a cot is a spacious room with decent sized bathroom and we still had space to swing a cat. (No cats used in the review...)
