10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was in a great location, quiet but minutes away from city center. Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Place is very pretty. Bed was xomfy
Cons: Room dark as a dungeon. Inadequate lighting and not a single hook in the bathroom to hang a bathrobe or towel. Also absolutely no room by sink to lay out toiletries or makeup. And when we checked out they didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay or even to stay safe trip Home! Front desk staff are morona
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food, bar and staff were amazing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is gorgeous. It is in true Venetian style and so pretty. The breakfast was great.
Cons: This hotel was a bit hard for us to find and we continued to have trouble navigating Venice! It was in a quiet and secluded area. There was also major construction going on outside our room two of the three mornings we were there. They were hammering cement starting at 8am which was awful! I did address it with the front desk and they said it was city work being done and out of their control. Next time I would make sure to have a room in the back alone mg the canal.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location - it was wonderful to stay in a restored palazzo. Quiet location but Ai Cavalieri is an easy and beautiful walk to many wonderful sights and places. Excellent breakfast selection and friendly. Helpful staff. The Murano chandeliers in the rooms are stunning, as were the frescoes in our room. Pleasant view out over the canal.
Cons: It was a pity that the hotel did not have a restaurant that served food at lunch or in the evening. The sofa bed that was provided was adequate but not luxurious (thin mattress and fewer and lower caliber pillows than on the bed in the other room) - given the standard of the room and the cost this was a shame. The bathroom did not have a bath and it was accessed via some steps without a hand rail ( not a problem for us, but it could be for some). Beware, the marble shower is very slippery. The steands of cobweb on the chandelier in the stunning master bedroom were a shame as were the crumbs under the sofa bed (clearly crumbs lurking in the sofa before it was converted into a bed). It would have been nice to reconnect the sofa bed into a sofa for during the daytime. We were very grateful to the hotel for arranging the trip to Murano, although confirmation of the water taxi time would have made departure easier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing and our room was perfect. Hotel was centrally located.
Cons: Bar was a bit small. No restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just loved everything, exceptional service, absolutely beautiful hotel, breakfast is unbelievable.
Cons: Out stay was too short.. ;)
8.2 Excellent
Pros: It was beautifully decorated in a classic style. It was befit to Venice. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. We tried the classic and the delux room for 1 night each and both were great. The breakfast was delicious. The free drink at the bar was a nice touch with hors d'oeuvres hors d'oeuvre.
Cons: Internet was painfully slow often dropping to 0.50Mbps. The staff was helpful but failed to go the extra mile when asked about decade coffee for the room we were told they only had cafinated and couldn't give us decafe. The mattresses were extra firm and we prefer them on the softer side. The tv had almost no options for English speakers with no on demand movie option. There was no gym or pool.

Pros: Great location, friendly, welcoming and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delightful refurbished old hotel. Can arrive by water taxi. Fabulous small but high quality breakfast spread. Very helpful reception staff. Welcome drink in the evening was a lovely touch. Lounge of 1st floor lovely and not often used. Rooms retain existing features. We booked suite with high ceilings, art work and small balcony to overlook canal. Some good restaurants in square. Short walk to St. Mark's Sq and Rialto Bridge.
Cons: Rooms on canal side are quite dark. Balcony very small - really just so you can stand out and look at canal. Rooms overlooking square will get sunlight. Shower has to be hand held. If use wall attachment floods bathroom. Understand this has to be case to retain original features in bathroom - but maybe a note or explanation on checking in would be a good idea. We had 2 extra beds in sitting room for our kids which worked well (lots of space). They had to come through our room to use the bathroom, which was fine for a couple of nights.

Pros: Thank you for the most memorable wedding anniversary . Your hotel is splendid and in a perfect location. Breakfast was so relaxing in your beautiful garden and the food was impeccable. The view from our window was everything I wanted from Venice perfect. All the recommendations for dinner were on point. Your welcoming was so warm we really will be back as soon as we can. Venice is magical. Keep up the good work. Many thanks
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Strive to do everything they can to make your stay memorable. Went out of their way to make sure wife and I were taken care of.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service is perfect. My favorite person was Davido in the restaurant. He made our stay the best. Thank you!!!!
Cons: I loved everything about our stay.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and we had a lovely outside balcony
Cons: I thought the restaurant where we had breakfast was extremely formal and limited selection of breakfast. The lounge upstairs was very dark and drab.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Venart is an oasis in overly touristed Venice. Far enough away from all the noise and crowds and easily reached by foot or boat. This is a beautiful old palace that has been lovingly restored and feels comfortable and grand. The staff is exceptional in their ability to deliver what is asked and also intuited. We had an amazing room on the second floor overlooking the Grand Canal with ceilings that had to be 30 feet tall. Elegant breakfast served a la carte in the garedn or the restaurant. We will be back again to enjoy this exceptional property.
Cons: Non guests on the property in the morning disturbing the peace and quiet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff were all very helpful and efficient.
Cons: Room was dark and did not have the view of the canal,
7.1 Good
Pros: The two front desk staff I engaged with most were lovely, knowledgable and provided a great concierge service by discussing restaurant and travel needs, offering options and making bookings. They handled problems and requests quickly, had perfect English, were professional and capable. The gardens were lovely spaces, the inner courtyard especially tranquil. The palazzo origins of the building make you feel more connected to the history of Venice, and the decor was fresh, reflecting the fact the hotel was only created a few years ago. The newness of the place means that USB charging points are conveniently included in the rooms. Fresh fruit in the room, nibbles provided with drinks
Cons: The lounge rooms were dour and were not appealing as a place to sit. The hotel photos make them look traditional but in reality they would made a good set for Miss Havisham’s house. Not helped by the fact they were not lit after dusk. I’m sure in warm weather the gardens would be the logical place to sit for a drink, but in cooler weather there is nowhere convivial to sit. The reception area is overwhelmed by a sarcophagus of a table (that exudes the hotel branded scent - available for sale) which takes up any room for communing. When we came in after dinner out and asked to sit in part of the restaurant for a drink (there was some life there) we were told that it was for dining only.... The breakfast was overly formal, stiff service, a la carte only with somewhat limited options. I guess there are local interpretations of eggs benedict, but this was the first time I encountered no ham, no muffin and no hollandaise. The classic room I booked had the advantage of a balcony, with views of the tv aerials of the city. In hot weather the balcony might be a god send, perhaps compensating for the very tiny room, no room for two people to pass the end of the bed! Mould under the rim of the bath did not meet my expectations of luxury. Housekeeping had a go at removing, but it was still there. In summary, a middle ranking small hotel, with middle ranking management, attempting to be luxury boutique. However, this is Venice and I’m not sure this isn’t the norm.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with terrace and lovely hotel gardens in tranquil setting. Fantastic service.
Cons: Would benefit from an internal bar/lounging area, aside from the period rooms for cooler days/nights.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The decor of the hotel made you feel as though you were in Venice in its historical heyday. The service was exceptional. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Drinks at the bar were very well crafted. No detail left to chance. We would stay here again.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful place to stay. We loved it! Staff was excellent very friendly and kind.
Hotel Indigo Venice - Sant'elena - Venice - Building
4
9.3 Excellent (245 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The tranquil neighbourhood. Venice is a fairy-tale of a city with palaces, cathedrals and museums to take your breath away. In our neighbourhood you can get your breath back again. It’s a place where you can escape the noise and bustle, experience genuine local life, and feel refreshed. This is a neighbourhood of true tranquillity. At the heart of the neighbourhood is Hotel Indigo® Venice - Sant'Elena, a converted 1930s monastery where a peaceful inner sanctuary offers further respite from the bustle. Our neighbours include the elegant red-brick Gothic church of Sant’Elena, built by Augustinian monks in the 11th century and known for its lofty landmark belltower.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast, nice design & overall feel of quality.
Cons: There was a hotel-approved loud birthday party right in front of our room windows (it was on the first floor). Our complaints did nothing to make it stop. "But this is a birtheday party!", was the shocking comment from staff. Overall, the walls of the hotel seemed paper-thin.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - Beautiful modern design - Great stuff - Great food - Great bar, cocktails and bartenders - Perfect if you come for Biennale - But otherwise very far from everything else as there is nothing in the neighborhood
Cons: - if you didn’t come for Biennale, its quite far from everything else as there is nothing else in the area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Beautiful building. Outstanding staff. Bed so comfy I didn't want to leave it. Breakfast in room a delight!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was nice, clean, comfortable even with four people in the room. The courtyard was attractive, and we enjoyed evening drinks and morning breakfast there. Breakfast was a delight with a wide range of options!
Cons: Location from venice's sites originally felt far, but a water taxi day pass reduced the amount of walking we needed to do. A plus was that the hotel put us close to Lido and its beaches, so we got some time in the sun as well!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet area in Venice. The hotel location is actually quite good, if you take the public boat/waterbus. Very friendly staff with lots of good tips about local restaurants and best viewpoints. I’ve been to Venice a few times and this is the best experience.
Cons: Nothing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was clean as expected. Nothing exceptional about this hotel to mention. location was a little remote from the main square, which was ok. It was a pleasant walk thru the quaint and quiet residential area.
Cons: The room was not as depicted in the online photos. The verbal representation of the room was exaggerated. The staff continuously barraged us to purchase the Breakfast inclusion. Which I understood to already have been included when we bought online.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice amenities, breakfast, and location for transportation needs.
Cons: Restaurant options are limited.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location - quiet, lovely, green neighborhood a 2 minute walk to the vaporetto stop. Beautiful courtyard with lovely lounge furniture. Well staffed. Rooms well designed and attractive. All the modern conveniences. Nice cafe around the corner.
Cons: Breakfast at 9 euro could have been better, very ordinary, nothing special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very large and nice for the price. The hotel is located a little over a mile from the Piazza San Marco which was totally feasible because you can walk along the water. We had a 1 year old in tow and it wasn't an issue for us. It was actually nice to be in a quiet area in the evenings. There were also a few parks near by which was great to allow our little one to run and play.
Cons: The restaurant staff was friendly but the concierge and check-in staff were not so friendly or approachable as is to be expected from a person holding such position.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice enough to say that they will take care of the complains and apologized. The breakfast had variety of food.
Cons: The staff was nice enough to say that they will take care of the complains and apologized but it wasn't taken care of after all.
7.7 Good
Pros: Hotel was located out of the city centre of Venice which is away from the noise, and the room is nice roomy. We arrive very late on the day and the staff assist us on how to get to the hotel.
Cons: The hotel is about 20 mins walk from St. Marco Square and 1 hr by ferry to Piazza Roma, therefore have to plan the time for travelling.
6.0 Good
Cons: Location. It is a bit far from the city centre and major attractions but still within walking distance.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, food, staff, bed, information source, location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: hotel was great in quiet location and close to boat stop so not far to carry any luggage. I did notice alot of people walking round venice with bags looking lost so great for finding the hotel
6.4 Good
Pros: very peaceful,clean too
Cons: very quiet in the bar in evenings, could not enjoy night in hotel, would have to venture out.could have been more of a choice i food for breakfast
6.0 Good
Pros: It had large modern rooms in a quieter area of Venice with some lovely green space but still close enough to the tourist attractions of Venice.
Cons:
7.6 Good
Pros: The hotel was of a high modern standard. The rooms were well equipped although not large , were fine - although the views from the windows were not worth opening the shutters. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a quite location around 15-20 minutes pleasant walk from St Marks Sq. A water bus stops just 2 mins walk from the hotel. (and goes to the Lido and all the Islands, as well as back to the Grand Canal in the other direction).
Cons: The hotel did not have much "Venice" character. The pigeons in the courtyard were a real nuisance. They even landed on the tables and (although the staff cleaned up very quickly ) droppings were regular on the outside furniture.
4.4 Okay
Pros: Location was good, rooms and bathrooms were good
Cons: The reception staff were grumpy
6.0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is fabulous, away from the craziness of the crowds and the nearby park is terrific, especially for kids.
Cons:

Pros: The room was beautiful & bed was comfortable
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like about this property was the location. It’s a bit of a hike to everywhere
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was an amazing hotel
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Situated in a more residential part of town - but only 10 - 15 min walk to all main attractions this hotel was awesome. Staff were ridiculously friendly. Place is like a 5 star hotel. Completely renovated - all high tech switches in the rooms. Extremely cheap for what you get. Will be only place I stay in Venice from now on!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service by very professional staff who were extremely helpful with all our needs. We had special religious needs on Saturday and the staff was very cooperative. The atmosphere was very special in this boutique hotel in Cannareggio area of Venice on the canal. Absolutely peaceful and serene atmosphere that made us forget all everyday concerns. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again this summer when we return to visit Venice.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I recently stayed at the Ai More d'Oriente for 4 days and 3 nights in December 2014 and loved it. Here's what we loved: LOCATION - The location was perfect... close, easy access to the vaperatto's (Venice's water taxis) as well as a short walk to the city center. STAFF - The staff was super helpful, friendly and accommodating. AMENITIES - Free wi-fi and breakfast. ROOMS - Comfortable, clean, nicely decorated rooms. The rooms are small but 1. that's to be expected in Europe and 2. We didn't come to Italy to stay in the room so the size wasn't an issue for us. Overall we felt we got an excellent value for what we paid. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Cons: The breakfast was a typical European breakfast. The coffee was excellent but the food options were not to our liking. However, it I free so not a big deal for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location but still a fantastic location. Very luxurious and very clean. Helpful and polite staff.
Cons: Can’t fault it - it was spot on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location on the quiet Northside. Easy walk to bus-boat stops, easy to get to the grand Canal. Staff is amazing! We stayed here 3 years ago and it’s still amazing. Property is fantastic. A great stay!!!!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, great staff. Views out of our lagoon facing room were amazing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, close to everything. The room was comfortable but rather small.
Cons: The restaurant is nicely appointed but the food was disappointing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was lovely. Nicky the manager was extremely accommodating and the restaurant was nice to sit outside. Beds were so comfortable and the amenities in bathroom were wonderful.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Cons: The staff recommended us to a very bad, smelly, unfriendly (aggressive) trattoria. Also the communication before arriving (concerning the parking) was difficult and not helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The included breakfast buffet was delilcious. Fresh squeezed orange juice, lots of fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to tasty baked goods. We had a problem with our first room, too close to the lift and the next morning, the manager showed us another room which was lovely. WE would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and we will definitely plan to stay there when we return to Venice. Location was also amazing, only a few minutes walk to San Marco Square and amazing shopping and restaurants.
Venice Times Hotel - Venice - Bedroom
7
9.2 Excellent (873 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Venice Times Hotel is centrally located in Venice, a 3-minute walk from Scalzi Bridge and 6 minutes by foot from Guglie Bridge. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a great location as we were coming from the train. It was a nice little sanctuary way from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Very quiet at night. The room was fine for our family of four as we were only there for the one night. The staff were helpful and booked a water taxi for us and stored our luggage. The breakfast was good and facilities were lovely. It was only a quick stay but would recommend to others.
Cons: More expensive than other places we've stayed but saying that it was worth the cost. The hotel was immaculately presented, easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. They provided a phone with maps that we could use free of charge. We didn't really need this as we hand our own but it was a great service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The number one reason for us choosing to stay here has been the location to the train station. Travelling with a little kid you always want to ensure that you can get to your hotel after a long flight or train ride. This is about a 25-30 minute walk to San Marco and Rialto. It really gives you the opportunity to explore the narrow city streets at your own pace. The hotel provides a free phone for you to use during your stay that has free international and national calls. The staff were great. The breakfast had a lot of variety. If you don't want to dine out then you have the opportunity to dine in at the hotel. The prices are reasonable. The room was comfortable. If I am to ever return to Venice one day, I'd probably stay here again. It's great if you're travelling with kids.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All great. Helpful with everything. Classy, great breakfast. So close to rail, come out of station & turn left for about 400m & then it will be another left. Better still spend a few euro & a baggage handler will take you right to the door.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing, the location was perfect, few minutes walk to all the transport.
Cons: Nothing at all, maybe the room price was a bit steep but I would most definitely go back again
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to S. Lucia Train station, convenient for walking or taking water bus from Ferrovia. Good breakfast, extra charge for some items, but scramble eggs was always provided and plenty of other items. Friendly front desk personnel and clean hotel with elevator.
Cons: 3 of us (couple + friend) stayed in Executive Triple Room. There is no door between bedroom and shower, so hotel had to provide us with temporary divider. Glass door/wall for the shower probably not sealed well, so water leaks to floor every time we took shower.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good. The location was perfect for us as we traveled with train and the hotel is really close to the train station.
Cons: We booked Luxury tween room but got double room. It was very small, no bathtub.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is is very accessible from the central station and/or the bus terminal. The whole staff was very very friendly and helpful regarding all matters and questions. The interior of the public areas and of the rooms is very nicely and functional. We felt to be in best hands from the very beginning.

Pros: location is perfect
Cons: nothing

Cons: Nothing.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location on the Grand Canal was very nice. They had a beautiful patio there. There was also a waterbus stop just at the hotel.
Cons: The room for which I paid over $400 per night was a small cell with a very high window which was useless. Told me this was their "standard room." For 50 Euro more they found me a "superior room". It had a window, but looked over a flat rooftop into a wall. Find out about the room before booking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff were excellent. We had the junior suite with balcony which gave a lovely view of the Grand Canal and made our visit to Venice exceptional. Location is excellent and a bit quieter area in Venice but with ample eateries nearby.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was noisy at night - with music from bar continuing till midnight. Noise from boats and kids with boomboxes kept us awake past midnight, and noise from vendor boats waking us early in the morning. Add to this the discomfort of a tiny bathroom, less than standard amenities, lumpy mattress and pillows. Staff was supremely indifferent starting with the receptionist at check in. Getting any service in the room was like pulling teeth, getting bottles of water, ice in the room, etc. Hotel should focus on just managing their reputed restaurant and leave the basics of running a hotel to professionals.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location Amazing hotel Really helpful staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was up scale
Cons: No ac and when opened windows it was noisy until 4 am .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was very central but quite and the hotel was facing one of the smaller canals. Breakfast was wonderful with good choice of croissants, toast, yogurts, juice and fresh fruits. There was also a pancake machine, which my daughter really enjoyed. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was good size and very quiet
Cons: Nothing

Pros: WOW! A palace converted into a luxurious hotel right in the centre of Venice! 5 minute walk to Rialto Bridge and 10 minutes to San Marco. This “palace” was rich in luxury, service, quality, history, grandiose, we had a junior suite with Canal views which was one the of largest junior suites I have stayed in compared to other hotels. The staff were friendly and the service was exceptional. Relaxing Piano Bar to enjoy in the evenings.

Pros: This hotel exceeded all our expectations, from the polite staff to the beautiful room and setting, it was a weekend to remember. We booked our stay at the Baglioni for my birthday , not only were we met with friendly staff, they upgraded our room and even delivered champagne with a birthday message. Breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold options as well as a la carte menu. When checking out, the boat to the airport was ready and waiting, we had a fantastic trip and can't wait to come back again! Stunning hotel! Thank you for a memorable stay! Chelsea and Chris x

Cons: A bottle of water should be placed each night by the bed. There were no until I asked to.

Pros: Maximus and staff were so helpful and friendly. Really appreciated their assistance. Good location, clean, large room. Thankyou!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location just 6 minutes walk from the nearest boat stop and no bridges (it means a lot for Venice). About 10 or so minutes walk to the most attractions yet located off main tourist track and very quiet at night. Room was well maintained with funky decor and a romantic view to a canal intersection. Soundproofing was good, no external noise bothered us. Friendly team at reception tried to help us with a few restaurants bookings and our luggage since there is no elevator.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, service is amazing. Your are near to everywhere walking distance. If you have luggage, it is near to the port. They answer all your questions and so friendly. I really recommend

Pros: Excellent loaction close to the Mestre train station. This hotel is an excellent location from which to visit Venice, with Venice being a 7 minute train ride away. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent room. I would definitely use this hotel again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean although we did find it a little warm even with turning the air-conditioning down. I should have spoken to the staff but we were having such a great time we forgot until in the room at night. Very good range of breakfast something for everyone. Little nibbles given with drinks in the bar. Well stocked minibar. Perfect position for easy access to Venice at a very good price.
Cons: Just the heating control as when you turned it down it appeared to stay the same

Pros: great location, just opposite to the railway station and transport is good too, bus stop and airport bus nearly.
Cons: overcharge us. It's said that only charge Euro 20 for late check out before 3pm. We requested one day before up to 3pm as our flight was around 5pm. When we rushed to get the airport bus and no time to check the bill, the staff charged us Euro 30 for late checkout but the bill was printed at 2:57pm. I checked the bill after arrived airport but I couldn't chase back the overcharge.

Cons: None
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Room was very dark, mini bar was lacking, toilet leaked smellly water, and it was way too pricey. Room was kept cold when we weren’t in it so it was always chilly when we came back from wandering around. Shower had long brown hairs in it (neither my husband nor I have long brown hair). We payed much less and got more in other places.

Pros: First of all allies it was a wonderful and let us check in four hours early. That was extremely nice and unexpected.
Cons: The hotel, the location, everything about it was amazing. Our room did have a little bit of a moldy smell to it but I think that's because they turn the air off when you leave and of course they are on the water. Again, I highly recommend this hotel it

Pros: This hotel was very clean and just stunning inside. Great breakfast too
Cons: The location was a bit out of the way, but only 10 min walk from the main bus/water taxi main station

Pros: Easy to get to from the train station. The place was picturesque and sat on the canal so we could enjoy sipping wine while watching the boats. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. Rooms were clean and quite large. It was great!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet location courtyard over looking the canal.
Cons: If you plan on late nights you may have to wait several minutes for staff to unlock the gate (wasn’t fun in the rain!!)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: An unique place to stay in Venice if you are traveling with a dog. Nowhere in Venice is it possible to find a piece of land for an animal. This hotel has two small gardens of its own! It solves all the problems. One of the gardens is located directly on the banks of the Grand Canal. It's nice to be sitting in the garden and admiring the canal view.
7.5 Good
Pros: A fabulous hotel. Very close to the train station and located ON the Grand Canal. Beautiful building, beautiful room with a view. The best breakfast we had in all of Italy. The first hotel I ever experienced with turn down service and multiple room checks by the maids during the day. All staff spoke English and always helpful and courteous. Worth every dime
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Pretty place with garden. Bar and breakfast personnel very pleasant.
Cons: Climate control device in the room was broken. When I arrived, it was too hot but I could not change it. I asked the desk to fix the device and set it at 20 degrees. When I return to the room that evening, it was very cold. Again, the devise would not work and I had to sleep under a heavy blanket; an uncomfortable night. Next morning, I told the desk and asked them to fix it, setting it at 20. It was just as cold that night as the night before. Before checkout, I told the desk -- who said it was set at 22 degrees. It wasn't. The device was still broken when I left. Sleeping badly two nights is not a good recommendation for an expensive hotel. PS: the room was well designed but tiny.
7.5 Good
Pros: The central location is brilliant, the hotel and gardens are wonderful. The room clean and tidy,
Cons: There was no consistency in service, one day good another day not so good

Pros: The staff were all very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great.the position for walking to all the major places of interest plenty of places to eat and drink close by. Would recommend to others .
Cons: Great hotel but out of the many i have stayed in throughout the world it did not give you a tea/coffee making in your room although you could get this at any time by calling room service at a charge of course.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location of this hotel and the staff were very helpful at all times. A must for anyone thinking of visiting Venice. The balcony over looking the canal is a must when your are have a drink after visiting the sites.
Cons: The bar closing at 10.30
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Size of room. Quiet. Lady on reception was very polite.
Cons: Where to start... First of all, main entrance to the hotel is from the sea, so you can arrive only with boat. There is other entrance where you can come by walk, but it’s so small, so dark, so scary, in very long and tight street witout lights. It looks like you enter in some old dark basement...SCARY! When we arrived on reception was a reception staff, a man. We were talking, and I said normaly that it was so busy and a lot of people, so we couldn’t find any available taxi boat to arrive. He said sarcastic “It’s not my fault!”... why is that for. I never said something like that. What a behaviour! But the most terrible thing is that we paid more than 500€ for one night, in 4 star hotel. It said that breakfast is included. They say that orange juice is fresh, but obviously it’s not, you know when you taste it. When we come on breakfast, it was not buffet, they bring you on table some things like butter, bakes, nothing special... but if you want eggs, it is EXTRA charged. SHAME ON YOU! Also they have made a reservation for the amount on my credit card. When we did check-out we have paid in cash... more than 10 days they didn’t return that reserved money on my credit card. Dear hotel, a time before this I slept in Danieli hotel for 600€, 5 star, awesome breakfast included, location perfect... you are trying to compare with hotel like this with prices, and you offer so much more LESS... Defenetly the worst hotel I’ve even been in, and I wouldn’t recomend it to anyone! Luckly I was here just for one night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great, location perfect
Cons: Breakfast could varied a little

Pros: Polite and friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful; excellent decor and cleanliness in room; superb canal view

6.7 Good
Pros: location perfect all main sights within 15 min walk. St Marks square 2min walk Boats are good value and efficient but very very busy take the shared ferry from the airport as its the best way to go
Cons: staff not fussed if you are their or not breakfast area very small and ran out of food quickly i advanced warned that it was our silver wedding anniversary and the acknowledged they would make it a special stay but they did not even mention it when we checked in or checked out Gondola a waste of time and a rip off

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the balcony which was facing the canal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovede erything about it!
Cons: Everything was perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent.. it’s a couple of minutes walk to St Marks Square and the same to Grand Canal. It’s completely sound proof, you cannot hear any noise at night at all, and the most relaxing couple of nights sleep ever. The rooms are opulent and clean, well stocked and the decor perfect for keeping in line with the premise of Venice. The staff were fantastic and I can’t fault them even a little. Reception were so knowledgeable and helpful, the concierge so polite and helpful, the rooms cared for perfectly by housekeeping, and such polite breakfast waiter who wanted to help everyone enjoy their morning meal. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and I’d definitely want to stay here again.
Cons: If I was being incredibly picky, the only thing I wasn’t fond of was how hard I found the bed on night 1. I sort of got used to it on the second night. This is probably only because I’m used to a softer mattress and is purely a personal thing. It definitely didn’t stop me from sleeping brilliantly all through the night! A feat that never happens at home!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. 5 minutes walk from St Mark's Square. Easy to get to from San Zaccaria boat stop with suitcases without needing to navigate steps. Super friendly hotel staff. Would definitely go back next time I'm in Venice.

7.4 Good
Pros: A lovely hotel in a great part of Venice, near St. Marks square. Clean rooms, nice breakfast.
Cons: Our standard room was tiny. We could barely open our 2 suitcases up on the floor side by side at the foot of the bed and pass by to get to the washroom. The room was just bigger than the bed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: location great .You can get water taxi right to the door. breakfast was good nice variety. hotel comfortable. staff very accomadating . would stay again
Cons: family suites in another building. stairs make it difficult if anyone has mobility issues. family suites have no canal view
