We spent two wonderful nights in Quinta do Ervedal in early october. The house and its surroundings are breathtaking and beautiful! The scenery is really something to remember. A nice pool, the comfortable bedroom, friendly staff and delicious food - all was there. You can easily take walks to the nature or maybe trips further up to the Douro valley. Or perhaps you just relax, read a book and enjoy the sunshine on the front yard. So thank you Isabel and Henrique for all your hospitality. We will definitely recommend your quinta to anyone who is interested!

This place is amazing. It's a 'Quinta' so a Portuguese wine estate. It's set in the heart of the Douro valley in a stunning location. Although this estate does not produce wine, the views from the Estate are amazing and it's a very quiet and comfortable place to stay. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I had dinner there and the food was amazing. Typical Portuguese food with traditional music playing in the background and of course porte wine. Had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation.

Very quiet location.
Room was very hot. In August that is a big issue! Breakfast very very poor.
