Very close to the beach. Great Garden and Pool. Everthing was fine. Very good dinner. Actually the best dinner we had in Sardenia.
Kindness of staff, great food, great location near beach, comfortable room, secluded location, quality guests.
Great food (half board) nice pool, quiet environment, great staff, lack of iron - we had to use their own laundry service which was expensive. I would have like dto iron my own clothes
The breakfasts were so good, The dinners were excelent, every evening a tipicals plates from Sardinia (antipasto, primo e secondo). Very nice and friendly Staff. The pool is beautiful and relaxthy. The beach is lovely, white sand, crystalline water. For we the best beach around the chia. The hotel hasn't umbrellas at beach so you have to rent it, for about 26 euros per day, very expensive.
Beautiful hotel in a nice and quiet spot near a splendid sandy beach with only a few people on it. Beuatiful pool with comfortable chairs and bathing towels avalaible in the room. Vast choice at breakfast. Friendly personnel. Bathroom and especially shower are a little bit tiny.
Perfect stay. Very quiet, magnificent beach, excellent food.
Hotel itself, surroundings, magnificient beach Although there was never surprise when I booked from booking.com, hotel did not provide us classical room although your confirmation. Our room (esp. bathroom, they assured that the rest is the same as classical) was designed to the needs of disabled. Because the hotel was all booked, they did not change our room. It was not fair when you travel all from another country in your 1 week annual leave
Location - short walk through gardens to beach. Lovely beach. Decor. Friendly staff - they were happy for us to use the common facilities after we checked out of the room on the last day. Nice room. A review somewhere mentioned the standard rooms were small, so not entirely sure if it was a standard room as booked, as it was a perfectly good size with a little porch. No.
Very responsive staff and flexibility while offering type of stay. Bree bicycles with baby chair :-) Didn't like food at all. Very poor breakfast, limited menu at lunch and fixed dinner set for fixed price with no any choice :-(
large rooms, nice breakfast.friendly stuff. the beach in front of the hotel is not ok the best one, so you have to get by taxi/car the beach with cristal water (20 mins and more). My room had a door to adjoining room so it was noisy when the nextdoors had fun
the pool was lovely, well maintained and the water jets at the side were brilliant. The gardens and terrace were lovely providing a great view from the room (poolside) The hotel had no lunch facilities - no sandwiches on offer to purchase etc. On the evning of our first day we were told we could not eat in the restaurant as we had to book 24 hours in advance even though the restaurant was half empty that night. The staff were helpful - just - but not particularly friendly or customer focused.
The whole experience and hotel is just such value for money and it should be put as a 4 star not a 3 star!!! If you dont stay here you are silly!
Very helpful, very clean and spacious and ideal for south west beaches and the islands. Could have been situated in a slightly better area but this in itself made it convenient for essential facilities, ie. shops.
Good staff, excellent decoration and cleanliness, good breakfast It was not easy to have dinner or the menu was not easily available
Staff was very nice, rooms and breakfast perfect. The swimming pool was open but not heated , thus not usable at all at this time of the year.
Fantastic accommodation - spacious, immaculate, modern, inter-connecting rooms. Lovely pool and gardens. A very convenient location to Cagliari airport and an adequate cold, but very fresh, breakfast. The hotel is within the industrialised area and something happens in this area that seems to cause a slighty sewagey smell. It's not too noticeable from the hotel itself. The nearby beach of Maddelena is a nice long stretch of sand, but it is not to the same scale as the beaches in the north of Sardinia. The hotel has a marked area on this beach, which is what they mean by 'private beach'.
The staff were especially wonderful. Hotel was clean and rooms spacious. Very difficult to find the Hotel. Also the aircon was very poor. need to have individual air conditioning per room. Also no sat TV.
Excellent breakfast, pool, large apartments Location. Far from beach and Cagliari
room tidyness breakfast could be better, staff did not speak english
Staff was really good and place was beautiful and very clean.
The staff is most kind and helpful. Everything is excellent: room, bed, bathroom, breakfast, service, etc. It really looks like a family home with hotel rooms. Given the hopeless car parking and the expensive hotels in Cagliari, Gentarrubia is a great alternative. The hotel is difficult to locate. You need a car to get there. Using the bus, you need to walk for 1.5 km. On the main road SS195 from Cagliari to Pula, after about 10 km, you will encounter 5 turnabouts (to Macchiareddu, Capoterra, La Maddalena, Frutti d'Oro). At the 5th turnabout, take right to Rio San Girolamo. After 100 m, take the first road on the left (crossing a bridge; wide straight road via Europa). After 100 m, take right into a street, entering an area of houses. Then right (50 m), left (10 m, via Madrid), left, and left (via Berna).
The owners are amazing! Helped us get a great rate on our rental car and made a reservation for us at the best seafood restaurant. Easy to reach the amazing beaches of Chia and Nora by car and they have the best recommendations for which part of the beach to go to. Breakfast is great with homemade pastries and fresh fruit. Rooms were spotless and pool was lovely. Great, great place to stay. Nothing
The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever approached and went out of their way to accomodate our requests. Rooms beautifully clean and comfortable.
great room, great staff, great breakfast a fair walk to other facilities
modern, clean, friendly staff site terrible roads unsurfaced with potholes. Surrounded by less salubrious properties with dogs out all night. Impossible to sleep unless all windows and shutters closed. Dog hotel nearby.
Outdoor hotel locations are very nice and well maintained. Rooms are big. I would recommend this hotel only if a big discount is applied on the standard rates (which happened for me, making the quality/price ratio OK for this area). The hotel shows its age in all the indoor locations. For examples, rooms have ancient appliances and I would rate them 2/3 star. Breakfast and dinner are definitively not great. The closest sandy beach suited for a family is 3km away, but you'll need a car as it is not reachable on foot.
The location is good. The hotel has several own beaches. I would expect that the staff of this grand hotel has at least a very minimal knowledge of any foreign language. This is not the case.
The Hotel had secure on site parking. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was good.
Location, extremely modern Poor breakfast
nice hotel, horrible landscape, kindly staff, basic breakfast, very cold room, good in summer but not in winter
Quite a new hotel so staff is not extremely experienced (mostly cleaning ladies). However the owner and her team are doing their best to fulfill all the requests and solve all the arising problems
Clean and relatively cheap for Sardinian standards. The room was overall in good shape. Lack of heavy curtains at the window (lots of light in the morning). The hotel is family run, I arrived at 21:00 and nobody opened me the door, until a lady showed up from a different building (by chance) in the garden.
The hotel is very modern. The staff are very nice and helpfull and speak English. A car rental and transfer to Cagliari were set up for us. The transfer picked us up at the hotel and delivered us at the B&B in Cagliari. The room was bright and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was good although no meats or cheeses. Coffee was made-to-order. I recommend this hotel and will use it when we return. There is no check-in between 1-5. I did not notice this on the hotel information online or in the confirmation email. We had to wait 2 hours in a bar down the street until the reception opened. Just a warning since the hotel is worth the wait.
The area and the value for money. I would have liked a choice of courses on the evening menu
The cleanliness of the hotel, friendliness of the staff, the pool and the view A little more variety at breakfast e.g fresh fruit, variety of cereals.
The view from our room. Spaciousness of the hotel and our room. Friendliness of the staff. Location. Breakfast was somewhat basic but acceptable
Great complex freindly staff plenty of parking good food
The resort is beautifully designed and has a wonderful view of the mountains from the pool & gardens. The staff is very friendly and the cocktails at sunset are amazing! The breakfast should include fresh fruit as Sardinia has plenty of it on offer.
nice and clean,tranquill,no noise
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort was very quiet as it was the end of the season, but they were attentive and kind. The location is beautiful!!!! Truly remote and calm. The room was very very clean and spacious. We loved it
Very friendly atmosphere in this family owned hotel. Room are spacious and very clean. Standard in comparison to many 4 star hotels on the island is very good. Quiete place to relaxe and stop by for some night. The matraces had seen their best time. Too soft for me personally.
Lovely setting, Marco in reception was excellent, spoke very good english and was really informative about the area and the hotel, the rooms were excellent, spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom with really good quality toiletries especially the shampoo!!!,The room was made even better with the little garden, our room was sun filled in the evenings and we sat out in the little private garden , we did not use the pool but it looked really clean ,all the other staff were friendly as well, altogether , a lovely stay, and would recomemend it Not really a complaint but a suggestion- perhaps breakfast could have been a bit more inventive, different fruits each day and may be better quality juice, it tasted very powdery and packet mix type juice, not at all pleasant but the coffee, hot milk, tea and fresh buttery croissants were really lovely as was the fresh bread in little baskets on your table
This resort is very new, and has been designed and fitted out with an eye to detail and quality. It is beautifully landscaped and fit perfectly into the surreal mountain surroundings. Its secluded and feels private. The room was on the small side, but had a private outdoor garden with a table and chair, and the weather is good so you wouldn't spend much time inside anyway. Great pool, deck and cafe/bar facilities, you could easily spend your day relaxing at the hotel. Its also located only 5 minutes drive from some spectacular beaches - remote and uncrowded natural areas. The staff speak excellent English and are friendly and obliging - also provide little extras like beach towels and hotel shuttle to the beach. I would recommend it. There is not much to eat around the area, you'll need a car. Its close to a small village which has a few restaurants, and you can drive to other small towns, but you'd better like pizza. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant so can't comment. Room wasn't huge, but was well fitted out with quality fitting and a good standard of basic, country luxury. No internet. If you are looking for a myriad of tourist activities, you might find this side of the island too quiet for your liking, but if like me, you were looking for a not-over-developed, quiet and relaxing holiday, then this is the place.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful when we had a problem with our car! Very friendly!!! I would have preferred a buffet breakfast.
rest and beautiful surrounding, a little far away from some activity and nothing to buy but olives at the bar, cocktails are great and the prices are fair enough.dinner good, but I do not know if we would have stayed longer if it would not become boring. the breakfast was very poor and as I did tell before I was Glutenfree the brakfast was not enough and there was no bread.for dinner they did there best but as alternative there was only all the time fruit, in Italy you can become more.
Very friendly and always helpful staff. Great food. Very nice beach. Many activities for kids organized by dedicated hotel staff. Would have liked a slightly bigger room, sound proofing should be better for a Hotel of that category.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved the train to the beach - the driver was particularly warm and professional. I didn't particularly like the restaurant right near the beach. The staff there weren't particularly welcoming. We got there 5 minutes to 4 and they didn't come to the table until 10 minutes past and then told us gruffly that the kitchen was closed and all we could have was pizza.
- The beach. - No Internet connection, as in the offer; - we had to ask for a new room - the first one was HORROR !!!
terrific site (most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!), also the buildings and accomoditions in the resort are lovely. very friendly people. clean room. nice breakfast. very quiet in low season (we stayed half May), the shops and some restaurants at the resort were closed. old fashioned tv with few channels.
Excellent dinner. There was a locked gate and we couldn't get anyone to open it for some time when we first arrived.
quality of room getting there, out of the way location
Friendly staff, good location, and a very good resaturant with fresh seafood. Very hard mattrasses, small room, no pool or other area where you can sit outside and relax.
Loved the food absolutely delicious and the hotel surroundings...beautiful!! the beach!
Helpful staff and the restaurants were of a high standard
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful setting with awesome swimming pool and nearby beach. Food was excellent. The water at the nearest beach was a bit dirty from seaweed so I would recommend to coordinate some preventive action.
Food, Nearby Hotel Beach Most of Hotel Parco Torre Chia's rooms are spread out over a hillside. If you have difficulty walking uphill then you could have some serious problems as there are no lifts to those away from the main building. We were put in the top furthermost room and due to my partners angina condition we had to plan every journey, getting back from dinner could take 15 exhausting minutes.
