Pros: Quality of the furniture and fittings. These are of the highest standard
Cons: Property gives directly onto a rather poor street. Though quiet most of the night the noise starts up quite early
Pros: Complimentary snacks, fruits and also drinks that are in the bar fridge. They even provide 2 small travel size bottles of liquor for free! Gave us a departure gift of a bottle of tartufo nero salsa....nice touch
Cons: No elevator but understandable as small BnB with only 4 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms on ground level and 2 on first level going up spiral staircase.
Pros: Newly renovated house to a very high standard. En-suite wet room. It started to rain just as I left the B&B to walk to the town centre. The proprietor ran after me and her husband gave me lift to l’Osteria which is an excellent restaurant in Via Garibaldi.
Cons: Quite a long walk to the town centre.
Pros: The outside is nothing special, just a small city with typical Italian scenery. Once inside you are blown away at how well everything is done. Completely updated. Beautiful room and bathroom. They include so many extras and the facilities are far beyond what we expected. The husband and wife team that run this place are absolutely amazing. I cant say enough about how much this exceeded our expectations.
Cons: I cannot think of one thing that we would have changed about this place. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Beautiful accommodation, good location and helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing could be better.
Pros: Everything was perfect
Pros: The rooms where comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The perfect place to stay in Avezzano...
Pros: Very friendly owners. Great extras like drinks and fruit.
Cons: Nothing negative, everything top
Pros: Very helpful and friendly owners, they offered an upgrade of my room for free at arrival, the room was very clean and stylish, the bathroom was huge and with a very big bathtub, they had taken care of every detail, the breakfast was rich and well prepared, a small gift of local product was offered to us when we left.
Pros: My husband and I stayed in several places while traveling in Italy for two weeks. Relais Marlene was absolutely the best accommodations we experienced for this price point. The accommodations were all new and beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The shower was spacious. We felt pampered from beginning to end. We were greeted with cappucinos and pastries and the room was stocked with lots of snacks and goodies. The decor was modern and elegant, very nicely done with nice touches. The breakfast was delicious. She even gave us a little gift as we left. We would recommend this establishment to everyone. Thank you to Marlene, her husband and her sister. Ciao!
Located in Massa d'Albe, B&B A Casa di Nonna is a 2-minute drive from Sirente-Velino Regional Park and 9 minutes from Amphitheatre of Alba Fucens. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Amazing homemade sweets offered by the hosts, very friendly enviroment.
Pros: The house and the rooms (we lived on the ground floor), the courtyard. Of course, the owners - Paola and Domenico, who were very 'informally' good and did their best to make our stay unforgettable. The close environment (monte Velino, Alba Fucens with its archeological site).
Cons: Couldn't find that. Just the weather could have been better ))) (it was September, with often unpredictable rains).
Pros: Very tasty homemade breakfast, with cakes and biscuits made by the host Clean Good value The room was very spacious
Pros: The place was very clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The coffee in the morning was great! The location is a bit off the main road but you get peace and quiet, and the mountain air. If you have a possibility try to book a room upstairs - gives you more space and a view of the mountains.
Cons: I guess I am not used to the traditional Italian breakfast of cake and Nutella but as I already experienced it a few days before that (at a friends place), it didn't come as a surprise. I'd have to think hard to find something else to criticise.
Pros: This place is fantastic value for money. The owners were extra friendly. We communicated via Google translate as they couldnt speak English and we can't speak Italian. The decor is beautiful. There are extra little touches throughout the house. We had a typical Italian breakfast which is cake, cake and more cake. All homemade, all delicious but we would have liked yogurt and a little fruit and cereal. We only stopped overnight but would definitely visit this area and this b & b again. Beautiful place!
Cons: More variety at breakfast. Fruit, cereal, yogurt.
Pros: Nice rooms , very comfortable beds. Wonderful staff-owner very nice and helpful. Offered us coffee when we arrived with snacks . Free unlimited bottles of water etc
Cons: The Toilet was exclusive but not really "attached" The number of the address does not come on the GPS
Pros: It was a beautiful surprise to us to find a perfect place. We loved most is the freshly baked cakes for breakfast prepared by the owner . The rooms are big and clean. The owners, Paola and Domenico are both great hosts, they are very welcoming. And, the location is ideal to visit the attractions as well as good restaurants.
Pros: Owner very nice, polite and friendly. Wonderful cook who offered a great breakfast: a really lovely cake prepared only for us guests a evening before. What could you want more??!!?? :-)

Pros: Very nice place, great welcome, very clean and all facilities. Do NOT use GPS to locate. Seek better details from hosts otherwise potential in steep narrow streets. Once found , all facilities excellent, very quiet, despite narrow streets limited good parking available.Has a restaurant but not available on my visit, but a , reccomended Osteria in town proved excellent only limited English but could not have been more helpful and had most satisfactory meal. Well worth the trouble of finding.
Cons: No reservations at all
Pros: Beautiful views and very abundant breakfast and lovely staff
Pros: Everything, awesome breakfast

Cons: no complaints
Pros: A good "base" for climb Monte Velino. Everything was ok. Many thanks!
Pros: Large room
Pros: Well positioned for the purpose of our visit to the area. It was very close to Alba Fucens ancient Roman ruins and amphitheater. In an area mostly visited by Italians for skiing. The rooms are furnished with new furniture and the en-suite bathrooms are new, all very comfortable. The hostess was great although she didn’t speak a lot of English, she used Google translator to get things across that she had trouble with. Wonderful hostess, had a nice chat about where we come from. Breakfast was very nice and well presented. We will thoroughly recommend you stay here if you need a place I. This area.
Cons: Nothing Although our gps couldn’t find the little street it was situated in. Eventually found it by Using Google maps
Pros: Our hostess Mary has been absolutely wonderful, making sure we have everything we need. She is friendly, kind and generous, and the facilities are absolutely beautiful. The standard of presentation and cleanliness is exceptional. Our room was large and comfortable, with a great shower. We're so glad we decided to stay an extra night, especially at the very reasonable prices charged. Highly recommended.
Cons: Everything was great.

Cons: Loved everything about our stay
Pros: Francesco is a wonderful host, and we cannot imagine a more welcoming atmosphere from him and the whole staff. The pool, rooms and location are amazing. The pool has a fantastic view of the countryside. If you are staying during a weekend, be sure to have dinner at the restaurant, which was one of the highlights of our stay. To reach other restaurants nearby it is good if you have a car, and many restaurants are a short drive away. Francesco even organized a very early breakfast for us, as we had to leave very early on our last day. We will surely come back sometime to this great place!
Pros: The bed is super comfortable and the room is really pretty! The surroundings are breathtaking and the pool area supe relaxing.
Pros: Francesco is a wonderful host, I really enjoyed chatting with him. I also felt a little guilty that they opened the restaurant just for me that evening, but the food was great, especially the mixed appetisers, showcasing local and seasonal produce. I heartily recommend eating there if you stay, or even if you're staying in the vicinity.
Pros: Very nice room. The garden is large and the scenery stunning. Excellent outdoor swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful owner.
Cons: There were no evening meals served during the week - only on friday or saturday evening. No restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was a bit limited - particularly if you don't like cake for breakfast. No fresh bread.
Pros: This place was fabulous! Francesco exceeded our expectations. We came in very late and we were greeted with his friendly welcome. They even cooked for us after 10pm! AMAZING!!
Cons: There is some issue with noise level if there is a party on premise. It did not really bother us because we were so tired. However, some people might balk at the lack of quiet during times of full booking.

Pros: This was one of my nicest stays in a month time traveling through Italy! The owners were super kind (and spoke great English, which is somewhat of a rarity in Italy ;-) They made the most amazing breakfast! The best I had in Italy in a month!
Pros: Lovely place and wonderfull hosts. The owner even speaks excellent English. Nice breakfast as well, with home-made dolci.
Cons: There’s few restaurants in town. If two of them are closed there is not much left. But the owners of this establishment cannot help that of course!
Set in Avezzano, 11 km from Corona, Casina Dei Marsi offers a garden and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and shower. A toaster and kettle are also offered. Casina Dei Marsi offers a continental or buffet breakfast. A terrace is available on site and both skiing and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the accommodation. The nearest airport is Rome Ciampino Airport, 109 km from Casina Dei Marsi.
Pros: Our room was spacious and clean and bright. We love the location. The staff was really really helpful.
Cons: The suites are located at the top of five flights of stairs and there is not elevator so it made it difficult to take luggage upstairs. I feel the items offered for breakfast were too sweet, too processed. My daughter's room had problems with a broken door handle, broken toilet seat, very uncomfortable cot, but when we brought this to the owner's attention, he moved them to a much more comfortable room and then adjusted our bill to compensate for the inconvenience. There is no air conditioning and the rooms were very hot.
Cons: First of all, the accommodations for such a reasonable price were exceptional. More than the place, CARLO, is a wonderful, kind and intelligent person who explains everything in both English and Italian. Also, Carlo made suggestion of where to eat, and it was simply an adventure compared to what one may eat in Philadelphia The breakfast is excellent. Everything fresh and Gisella served us beautifully..
Pros: Very clean and the personal very kind

Pros: Wonderful place with history and atmosphere in a great location. Has great parking in a place where parking is hard to find.
Cons: Room decoration was a little strange.
Pros: The bedroom and the palace, very elegant.
Cons: The bedroom was too much cold.
Pros: Location and view from the rooms
Cons: Breakfast to improve
Pros: Super kind staff
Cons: Entrance is not easy to find. Dining room is a bit cold.
Pros: Loved the Paris theme of our room... Comfy beds... Parking inside gate of hotel... Descent breakfast. Centrally located, perfect for visiting the Monasteries of St. Benedict.
Cons: Bathroom was very small.
Pros: Nice old refurbished building, view is incredible, located in the heart of Subiaco. Free parking.
Cons: Beds were not that comfortable, but were within the standard comfort of most places in Italy
Pros: Unique hotel with super friendly and helpful stuff. Each room is a special experience.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Hotel is top quality and great value.
Cons: Local restaurants were a bit limited and banal.
Pros: The Hotel is newly refurbished. It features the elevator despite having just 2 floors. Everything is neat and tidy, looks very new, and it is also very comfortable. Private parking hidden in the back but not locked. Nice owners, fun to chat with. Really good value for money.
Cons: Everything was superb, but breakfast. Although we were greeted with freshly made coffee which was excellent, most of buffet consisted of different sorts of cakes, and that was pretty much it. I assume its due to the fact that hotel was quite empty at the time, but some bread/milk or cheese/salami would already do the job.
Pros: Great location, clean, great staff
Pros: A last minute decision to stay in Capistrello and so good we arranged the rest of the motorbike trip so we could return and stay again. Very attentive staff on both occasions and spotless room.....a decent breakfast too.
Cons: It’s a little way from the centre of town but that quite suited so not really a ‘don’t like’.

Pros: Large room with beatiful landscape view, home made sweets for breakfast
Pros: The family that run the hotel are really nice. Rooms are neat, modern and confortable.
Cons: Not much variety at breakfast, no eggs or ham. Although the available food is really good.
Pros: We arrived late owing to confusion with the GPS, but we were still welcomed with open arms and even given a coffee although we were an hour latter than the time prescribed! The owners are very kind, warm, hospitable and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this B&B.
When you stay at Casa Lieta in Subiaco, you'll be 12 minutes by car from Monte Livata. Free self parking is available onsite.

A microwave and fridge are also featured, as well as a kettle and a coffee machine. The nearest airport is Abruzzo Airport, 109 km from Garibaldi33.
Pros: This location was outstanding. Lots of activity and helpful neighbors for those of us that don’t speak Italian. Funky old building with now modem facilities.
Cons: All was fine.
Pros: Lovely hosts, room and breakfast.. immaculate
Pros: Classic italian house, very close to the train station and the center of Avezzano. The owner of the house was also really helpful and kind.
Pros: Proximity to the train station was great.
Cons: The breakfast was not very good. Just some old cookies, granola and cake. Normally there is yogurt or boiled eggs, etc, this was all carbs.
Pros: The hostess is a wonderful lady. She is so caring, always there to help you, give advice. The location is perfect, less than five minutes from the railway station and the bus station and eating places are nearby. Thank you so much!
Pros: Good value, cleanliness and location
Pros: big room
Cons: poor breakfast; no A/C; at the noisy street
Pros: Excellent location, very nice host, easy communication, really clean and stylish rooms. If you travel in this area, it’s good to stay here for overnight – the hotel is located just near the station, and close to the town centre. The host reacted to all our complaints, and almost every problem was solved.
Cons: Poor WIFI connection in the main part of the hotel, I wouldn’t relay on breakfast included – just coffee or tee, sweets, jam, juice. We travelled in February – it was cold for us as in the room as in the corridor, where the breakfast was served. There is heating and good one, but it is switched off during the day time, so sometimes the temperature outside was wormer than in the room. In the check out day we planned to leave at 10, but couldn’t stand the coldness in the room and left at 7 am (considering that we were leaving for two days earlier than our booking allowed, we were really disappointed).
The Hotel Velino is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Famous attractions Fragile and Pinguino Village are just a short taxi ride away. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. The Hotel Velino is one of the top accommodation choices in Avezzano.
Pros: By sheer accident I arrived at Avezzano. As a tourist there is hardly anything interesting(although, i didn’t do an in depth research). Then arriving at this hotel is wuit a surprise. Excellent value for money.
Cons: Nicely updated room. Nice staff.
Pros: Hotel is very central; a few minutes walk takes you into the town centre. Beds are big and comfy. Hotel is stylish inside. Staff are keen to help. Their English is limited (but not as limited as my Italian!)
Pros: Staff was very helpful. Close to town square and many restaurants within walking.
Cons: parking is hard to find.
Pros: The Lobby and corridors are good. Breakfast was good enough Staff was fantastic and I felt welcome. Location is also very good Although you don't have parking from the Hotel, it is very easy to park around. Having free Wifi, although it could be faster and with better signal.
Cons: The room isn't very good and has nothing to do with the rest of the hotel. Looks like the renovation stopped outside the room. Very dark and old looking. It looked clean but needs an urgent renovation. Also would be good to have something to eat in the Room. Bigger television.
Pros: Nice and very reasonably priced
Cons: A bit outdated
Pros: Excellent restaurant
Cons: Very small room - we had ordered a triple for more space but there was a dividing wall. We couldn’t get the air conditioning to cool below 26 so we cooked!
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Shower drain clogged and air conditioner did not work
Cons: The pillows too flat
Pros: The hotel is across the road from Avezzano railway station and nest door to a good restaurant. The staff are very pleasant. It's good value for money.
Cons: The bathroom is small.
With a stay at Hotel Holiday in Magliano deʼ Marsi, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Amphitheatre of Alba Fucens and Tacliacozzo Municipo Building. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Paulo was excellent, very helpful & a wonderful host.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like
With a stay at Nido del Nibbio in Subiaco, you'll be in the mountains, and 9.6 mi (15.5 km) from Monte Livata and 11 mi (17.8 km) from Abbey of Saint Scholastica. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The house and the location are gorgeous. The couple managing the place is extremely friendly and gave us a lot of tips on where to go for hiking in the neighboring area and which restaurants to chose at night. I would definitely recommend the place
Cons: It was not very clear who we should refer to for check out as on the web-site there is a different number (the brother of the person we met at arrival) and therefore we spoke to the 2 brothers without them communicating to each other. However, it is just a small logistical problem and everything went really smoothly both at arrival and departure
Pros: the kitchennet is comfortable
Cons: the house gets very warm in the summer due to the big windows. it is uncomfortable to stay in.
Pros: The owner and her English speaking friend were very friendly and accomodating. We got a room which, even though it didn't have an ensuite bathroom, had a bathroom we didn't have to share just a few steps away.
Cons: We were disappointed that there was no "shared kitchen" as mentioned in the description. However the owner did let us put our perishable food in the fridge in the breakfast room, so it worked out fine.
Pros: Spacious, clean and with excellent parking in a nice Italian town.
Cons: The loud Pub with live music directly below the bedroom (might not apply to week days, but I can't be sure).
Pros: Spacious, warm and comfortable
