The hotel is well located only a few minutes north of the Lisbon airport. It offers an economical way to begin or end a stay in Portugal.
staff very helpful
Good hotel, good breakfast.
It is a great location, close to the city but located in a small town. The room was very modern, comfortable and clean. It was difficult for the kids to see the pool in the backyard and find out that it was not part of the hotel and therefore they were not able to use it.
The easy acces to Lisboa and the airport. The location of the hotel itself is on the edge of the village and in the middle of a traffic junction. You don't notice that in the hotel.
The Hotel was ideal for access to the Moterway Network
Very comfortable and good location for our overnight stop. Evening meal and breakfast very good. Overall good value for money. lack of staff in the bar areas - had to go to reception to ask for someone to service us
Was a very comfortable hotel good location and great breakfast
Very convenient for Lisbon Airport. Parking. Close to railway however the trains were not running during the night so our sleep was not compromised
The price and the location.
Excellent, well run family hotel. The design and decor of the renovation work has been well thought out. Staff could not be more friendly and the menu is very good with a leaning towards fusion but at very reasonable prices.
Very modern and neat. Great design. Would stay there again. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very good considering the three stars level. No reservation was received at the hotel. The "Active Hotels" did not worked. If a previous contact were not made we had to move for an other hotel in last minut. There was no reservation made on our nanes.Very bad service.
Simply excellent in all ways! Very friendly staff, excellent en affordable food in a trendy yet cosy design. We couldn't recommand you the Benavente Vila Hotel more. On top of all: ask the manager for his wine and tourism tips: a real gourmet!
Friendliness of staff, secure underground parking Not advised beforehand that restaurant closed Sunday evening and all day Monday
Central location in Alcochete makes for easy walking to town attractions. Great view of the waterfront. Great location proximal to Lisboa. Very clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Spacious accomodations. Nicely done! Great value for the money. Would recommend to others.
Free garage parking, helpful staff. The WiFi connection was very important to me, but it was found to be impossible to connect, despite the efforts of the staff.
location, near but not in lisbon,we had no problem with noise fronting the main road the pool did not open to 10am,during high (hot) season, great pity as myself and other guests would have liked a pre-breakfast swim. Coffee at breakfast was a rather odd flavour from self serve machine
Free baby cots for the babys. Free parking. Big room. The elevator was broken the day when we go. All bags and baby/children down by stairs.
Comfortable & well located for golf nearby & easily accessed from Lisbon, it proved good value. Alcochete, being so near Lisbon, still provides a real taste of Portugal only miles from the tourist path. Front desk staff were miserable & staff in general appeared suffering from low morale as the hotel was very quiet, only 2 or 3 others staying apart from our 2 rooms.
I loved the location of the hotel and espicially happy with Ms. Susan at the reception desk who was incredibly helpful and kind. no complaints ;)
The hotel is nice looking, the personal is pleasant and helpful. Located not far (walking distance) from the town center of Alcochete. The river side at this place is OK but not too nice. The noise of the road is disturbing. The window does not shut well and does not provide isolation from the noise of the road (it is not a big road, but you hear every single car passing loud). There was a light just outside the room and the curtains do not cover the window very well, so it was not dark in the room. The hotel is OK if you bring your own mask (for darkness) and earplugs (for the noise of the road).
the swimmingpool yes,the breakfast is not good
The hotel was clean and welcoming with a good buffet breakfast, the staff friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay.
The room was beautifully decorated with high-end furnishings, and it had a refrigerator. The staff, particularly Joao, was pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant is closed, apparently permanently, and there aren't many other options in the little village. Despite the hotel website's claim that there is free internet in all rooms, there is no internet, and it's apparently only in the planning stages. As a result, we cancelled the second night we had booked and moved to another hotel.
Nice decorated rooms with retro style. We have to change the room, because the bath was leaking water, and after a shover the bath floor was covered with water and the water could flow in to the room if we wouldnt stoped it with towels. We had also some troubles in the second bathroom due to the pure maintenance. The location is also not so good at the crosing of two main roads, but the windows are good so the noise outside is disturbing.
