Pros: The hosts Stefania and Carlo were very welcoming and friendly, attentive to our needs and always ready to chat or give advice regarding the local area, places to eat and attractions. The breakfasts served on the terrace were a delight and the house a gem in the Tuscan countryside.
Cons: We liked everything about our stay.
Pros: We loved everything about this fantastic historic place. The views seemed almost unreal they were so beautiful. Our room was huge and so unique. Breakfast was lovely. The hosts were so wonderful! We immediately felt most welcomed. We sent pictures home and everyone thought it was amazing.
Cons: Can’t think of a thing other than letting you know it was up in the hills a little ways out of town. However, once you are there, you are so enthralled with the views that it doesn’t matter.
Pros: Beautiful house, interior, breathtaking views at breakfast and of course, breakfast itself - extremely tasty. The hosts care of us was personal, nice and pleasant, we felt welcome as good friends. It was an experience. Thank you for everything Stefy and Carlo.
Pros: Palazzina del Chiasso is the perfect Tuscan escape. Perched on top of acres of pristine bosco, the views of the valley from the balcony are breathtaking - particularly at sunset. The Palazzina has been painstakingly restored with wonderful, eclectic interiors and luxurious touches, such as the locally-sourced bed linen. The surrounding fragrant gardens add to the natural beauty of the landscape and made our stay even more magical. Carlo & Stefania are exceptional hosts and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable, providing local recommendations, including the best gelateria for kiwi and salty pistachio ice-cream! Overall, our stay was the highlight of our Tuscan holiday and we cannot recommend the Palazzina enough - if you're dreaming of the set of 'Under the Tuscan Sun' this is it!
Pros: The beds were the best I have ever slept in. The view to die for.
Cons: I did not like going home so soon
Pros: Every detail from the interior design, the comfort of the bed, the bed linen, the breakfast to the views from the house was both unique and exceptional. The attentiveness and friendliness of our hosts was also fantastic!
Pros: This old lodge was absolutely charming! Beautiful on the inside and out with lovely views of the Tuscan Hills below. the inside is filled with lovely antiques and the rooms are delightful. Ours was very spacious with a bedroom, 2nd room and private bath. The proprietors are very accommodating. They helped us with the luggage and if you let them know ahead of time, they make a delightful breakfast for you in the morning. They also referred us to a restaurant close by that had fabulous ribs!
Pros: I wonderful place on every level. Our hosts were a joy, the suite was positively magnificent.
Cons: The breakfast was indulgent. Our only minor criticism would be that we should have appreciated being serve before 9.15 which was the usual time.Almos5 the
Pros: We had the most amazing four days at palazzina del chiasso. Our hosts Stefania and Carlo were two of the most beatiful and accomodating people we have ever come across! They went over and above what was required by booking winery tours, car hire and even organising a candle lit dinner in the cellar which was one of the best experiences we have ever had travelling. Could not recommend highly enough and cannot wait to come back!
Cons: Having to leave!
