Pros: On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Joaquín, the owner of the hotel. Even though we arrived rather later than we'd planned, we were provided with a delicious lunch. The hotel is surrounded by meadows full of wild flowers, woods and streams. In the distance hills and mountains rise up. The views are magical and the air is crystal clear.
Pros: Great place, great service.
Pros: Room was very large, nicely decorated and had a beautiful view on the mountains. The environment is very lovely, with many possibilities for sightseeing. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Amazing place in the middle of Madrid's mountain, just 1h away from the city center. Nice owner, nice environment. I would definitely recommend it
Cons: It would've been great to be able to use the chimney on the room
Pros: This hotel was the best i have been in for a long time
Pros: The tranquility and rustic charm were wonderful. We feel we have found a hidden gem! The one man service from the proprietor was quietly attentive. The lack of English spoken part of its charm. Would highly recommend.
Pros: The location was beautiful and really dog friendly
Cons: I booked a non-smoking room but the smoking smell was awful!
Pros: Arrived earlier than we expected but we received a very warm and friendly welcome. Large bedroom tastefully furnished and decorated with good sized ensuite. Evening meal of roast lamb (recommended by previous reviewer) was superb washed down with a lovely bottle of Cava. Lovely atmosphere in beautiful surroundings.

Cons: Noise from the road and view over garage forecourt
Pros: Hotel was lovely reception welcoming surroundings beautiful. Would recommend Hotel but dont eat at this Hotel.
Cons: Food 3 steaks cost €88 which were full of gristlle dripping in oil fries full of oil and 1 slice of red pepper also dripping in oil actually unable to eat sent back twice as asked for well done one in particular was dripping in blood. Did not stay for breakfast.
Pros: We were just looking for a convenient place to stay on our journey from Malaga to Pau. Although adjacent to the motorway our room was quiet. The evening meal and breakfast were both fantastic. Well above our expectations. We had a dog with us but this was not an issue as the hotel were extremely accommodating and welcomed dogs.
Pros: Friendly and welcoming staff. All of them were trying to speak in english thats been much appriciated by me(Spanish non speaker). Awesome breaky and dinner as well. Clean and tidy room with a luxury bathroom and nice view. Amazing location- it is in the heart of mountains but at the same time near the highway. Swimming pool for free to use, Parking places with a roof and has been closed over the night. Gas station just next door. It is a really nice place to stay. I'm definetely reccomending for everybody :).
Cons: Price could be lower however due to summer season and last minute booking it was understandable.
Pros: Nice hotel large bedrooms basic but fine. Not at all noisy. Very welcoming. Good facilities.
Cons: We had a dog ‘room’ which at first smelt nice and clean but we found dog hairs all over the floor and now on our stuff. We have non shedding dogs so a bit annoying.
Pros: Food was excellent in the restaurant. Waitress was especially helpful and attentive. Rest of staff also very friendly. They have had a refurb since we last stayed and the result is very good.
Cons: Nothing to criticise.
Pros: Swimming pool even if it is covered in summer
Cons: Very noisy next to highway, very expensive for what you get
Pros: Regular comfortable stopover, convenient to A1. Decent food but not inexpensive - when compared to other locations in the north and south. Good parking.
Cons: Only a la carte dining option. Sad no interesting value menu of the day/noche representing the area. Unusual for Spain and regular visitors to Spain. Breakfast cereal option very limited this trip.. Staff also appeared stressed.
Pros: We have stayed there quite a lot, most years it is 2 times we use it to break our journey up on our way or from our apartment.

Pros: Great location 50 mins outside of Madrid. Staff very helpful, room excellent size and very clean. Excellent food as restuarant clearly liked by locals.
Pros: This was an overnight stop on the way home (having stayed here last month on the way to our holiday villa) staff although not English speaking and us not having much Spanish, are very helpful and do what they can
Pros: The room and bathroom were clean. I ate in the cafe rather than the restaurant, but it was all excellent value. Proximity to the motorway was excellent, but without any noise.
Cons: The room and bathroom were a bit cold - the radiators didn't give out much heat, but as I was travelling very much off season, and was probably the only guest, this was not surprising.
Pros: went akiing in 2015 in La Pinilla, and stayed in Langa. We liked so much that I came back this year
Cons: bathroom not clean. some dust in the floor
Pros: Nothing positive
Cons: Had e mail confirmation saying late arrival was ok but when arrived hotel in darkness waited outside whilst phoned numbers finally opened hotel 1/2 hour later 01.30 in the morning. Bathroom was poor and a disgusting smell Beds very uncomfortable
Cons: Great place to spend a night
Pros: We had an excellent room, with a beautiful view to Sierra Nevada. We loved the place, has an incredible restaurant (already tried it before), very convenient price. Next time we will try to stay again to rest after our flight from South America and before going to Bilbao. Beautiful place, very nice town
Cons: Only a minor problem: since it was tuesday, it was the staffs day off, so there was no breakfast.
Pros: The position was very convenient, good bar.
Cons: Very noisy- didn’t sleep at all-some machine kept coming on outside the bedroom window. Wouldn’t recommend.
Pros: I liked the ease of access, of the hotel, from the main Madrid - Burgos road. I loved my room, which was warm (underfloor heating!), colourful & comfortable with loads of hot water for a great soak in the bath! Great after a long drive. The hotel was very clean & tidy & looked well presented.
Cons: I found it quite difficult conversing, with the staff, as I have little Spanish & they appeared not to have any English. I'll just have to get on with learning the language! Reviews about the food were mixed &, as I didn't eat in the evening, I can't comment but what I had for breakfast was fine. Always another restaurant over the road.
Pros: Pet friendly, great staff pets welcome, good beer and tapas
