Grear food great wine great service by senor Carlo
The building and interior garden are nice through their age and arhitecture, The staff is very friendly and nice. The food is very good, feels like the chef running the kitchen is doing an excellent work..
Cleaning service, the room was not cleaned up properly, When was windy there was a noise coming from the chimney, from the rotative part on top of the chimney. In some parts of the property there is some old/closed window smell.
Wow, amazing little property in the heart of an Italian town, courtyard was wicked! If you stay here, you MUST, have their 5 course meal £35PP, the waiter explains all dishes perfectly and reccomend wines for you.
Only downside was getting a car to this property, have to be a experienced driver to use the right roads. Nothing else going on in the town, recommended for one night stay and meal In hotel.
Quirky yet comfortable accommodation & amazing food.
73 steps from the restaurant to our bedroom!
This was an extra-ordinary place to stay! The B&B is an 'albergo diffuso' which means there are several different buildings, all of which have been exquisitely renovated and furnished. It is very much a family business with plenty of heart and soul as well as style. Lucilla was very warm and welcoming when we arrived (hot and tired from our walk), and she helped us with our onward travel arrangements which was much appreciated. Breakfast was amazing - well beyond the usual Italian offerings, and everything fresh and home-made. We also had dinner there and it was by far the best meal we had in Sardinia. It is worth visiting Santu Lussurgiu just to stay at Antica Dimora del Gruccione!
Located in Santu Lussurgiu, Antica Dimora del Gruccione is a 1-minute drive from Museum of Farming Technology and 5 minutes from Sos Molinos Waterfall. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
