new and beautifully appointed Heating hard to understand . It would have been nice if there had been some tea/coffee sachets available and some detergent for the dishwasher
Dining in the resort was excellent. The indoor and outdoor pools were also very enjoyable. Nothing
The Monte Santo resort had only been open for one week prior to our visit so was still experiencing "start up" issues. However, this in no way spoilt our enjoyment of the holiday. Staff were very accommodating and informative. Service under the circumstances was excellent.
Wonderful resort, very luxurious.
The quietness We are sure it will be nice but it was so deserted it was like being on a desert island.
the view to ocean and the wonderful room nothing, all o.k.
The resort itself was lovely. The apartments and poolside were well kept and beautiful. Our fridge, iron and central control system did not work
I loved the quality and design/layout of the apartment and resort itself and could easily have moved in and stayed there!!! The staff were delightful too. I would have liked more equipment in the gym - a cross trainer, would be good.
Service and comfort. Good breakfast. Location too far from the beach. Rental car required.
Everything was of an excellent standard. A great place for families.
We stayed in September 2010 when the hotel was new and some facilities were not available. The accommodation was excellent and very spacious. The pool was lovely and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. The food at breakfast was good though sometimes slo in being replenished Although the food at breakfast was good and the staff were very nice service was very eratic. There were lots of staff milling around at times but they were very disorganised and sometimes there would be a long wait for tables to be cleared of food trays to be filled. The hot water in the villas was provided by a hot water tank and if all four of us tried to shower one after the other the hot water would run out.
top rated hotel in every aspect, simply wonderful. You must come with a car though, otherwise you need taxi to/from hotel to town or back. none whatsoever - all was perfect.
The quality and the price (77 euros per night). your normal prices seem extravagant
The accommodation was new and much larger than usually found. The accommodation is in self catering villas. The spa treatments were too expensive to make use of.
The location was good and the layout excellent. The apartment was more than we had expected from the web site information. We were disappointed with the second evening meal we had at the restaurant and it was not up to the standard of the one we had earlier in the week.
The breakfast was great with a wide selection of choices and the apartments were beautiful, fully equipped.
Beautiful location and setting. a very nice resort. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Superb breakfast buffet, good restaurant, lovely pool, suites very comfortable Breakfast times could be extended - this might help with seating difficulties. Definitely need more sun umbrellas as it gets very hot.
Very little, the hotel was closed and the facilities were very limited. It is great in the summer but a no no in the winter, avoid at all costs Deserted, no facilities. Poor location if everything is shut
Location to Beach, Breakfast included was a bonus. We had booked a TownHouse and from the website looked to be a modern, bright airy property; on arrival it was old, dark and damp; with bronchial problems in the family we have to move; 3 options later! We upgraded to a beautiful villa at extra cost of e2500 above that already paid! A expensive but good experience in the end.
The garden...and location...and service The old furniture and plastic terace equipment ...this is in contradiction to the general standards of the" luxury collection" ....really disapointing
The location and excellent facilities Not really a complaint but the restaurants on site are very expensive
The big room, perfectly equipped kitchen, the big bathroom, parking nearby. The quiet place suffices Very expensive access to the Internet, and thus, very low speed
Really great accommodation and very family friendly. The swimming pool and playground area were ideal and the whole resort was very safe and pleasant for strolling around. A short taxi ride brought us to Albufeira to the lovely beach during the day and the great restaurants in the evening. The restaurant and bar were disappointing, it would have been nice to socialise in the resort in the evenings but there was nothing to encourage us to do so. However we really enjoyed our evenings in Albufeira town where there were many lovely restaurants. The day-time shuttle bus service could be improved as the resort is a little too far from Albufeira to walk. An evening-time shuttle would be very convenient also.
The resort was excellent. Our apartment was equipped with all needed. We had nice rooms and nice kitchen and living room. Better than we thought. The facilities of the resort were very good, staff very helpful and we consider this hotel as one of the best we had had.
Everything about our stay there was excellent. Rooms, Pool areas were all spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I liked how close it was to old albuferia, only 17min walk, and how close it was to the beach. also liked the private beach they took us to. Very quiet and clean. The apartments are just brilliant. Well equipt, plenty of hot water. there are 3 pools at the resort, would of been nice if one of them was left for adults only. The bus could of been a bit more frequent to and from albuferia. The apple bar has absolutely no atmosphere, better off drinking in the town. If your mainly english speaking, the Tv was a no no. nearly all german channels.
Standard of accomodation was excellent. Spa facilities excellent. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Cleanliness excellent Standard and comfort of accomodation. Friendly, helpful staff. Location, although 15 mins walk from centre it was much more tranquil.
