Pros: 100% will return!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Kind staff with great suggestions about where to eat and drink
Cons: Breakfast was just ok but healthy
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is absolutely great! Staff very helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was only served in the room and with very few options and somewhat restrictive. Also laundry delivery at 11.30pm was not ideal.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind and helpful, very spacious room, very convenient bathroom, excellent location
Cons: The default breakfast was not so tasty, but the kind staff accepted our special requests for the next days and then it was all good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super cool industrial vibe and decor. Really large rooms. Small boutique feel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast included. Great area. 0 complaints Would go back again in a heartbeat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome spacious room. Every detail updated. Full kitchen with 2.5 bathrooms. Easy to get just about anywhere. Really helpful and courteous staff.
Cons: Only little downside is the level of noise that can sometimes be heard from an enthusiastic group of people overindulging in drink. Gratefully we had a room on the side of the building with much less foot traffic and bars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are pretty big and modern for the staying in Chiado area
Cons: Nothing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Croissant is good.
Cons: Very noisy can’t sleep at night. It was noisy till 4 5 am. Toilet paper and water were not replenished, needed ya to request. Breakfast has very limited choice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good staff, interestingly quirky hotel with interestingly quirky furnishings in the public areas and in the room. Very large room with kitchenette and two toilet areas. Okay shower.
Cons: Breakfasts were poor with almost nothing worth eating. Having breakfast in the room - a new feature - is considerably less convenient than having it in a public area. Despite everything they do to reduce the noise, it is still noisy, so if someone needs quiet, this is not the spot.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a large, quiet, clean and comfortable loft near central Lisbon.
Cons: I can’t think of anything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience was very relaxing and we enjoyed it immensely
Cons: All was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous classic hotel. There aren't any small meeting rooms, so I upgraded to a suite to use for meetings. The spacious, stylish sitting room was completely separate from the bedroom and much better - and cheaper - than most normal hotel meeting rooms. Service was impeccable and the price great for a five star experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the rooms to the location to the little treats left in my room, the breakfast and the staff, every aspect of this hotel was 5 star! I’m so happy that I was able to stay here!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Old world elegance, excellent breakfast, fine complimentary concerts most evenings
Cons: Evening front desk staff which blatantly pushes guests to restaurants which pay them for referrals.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff, the little perks in the room and the lovely breakfast made this stay at Valverde hotel definitely worth it! Will absolutely come back!
Cons: The only thing that bothered us in the room was the airconditioning and how it blew really cold air in the room and if you switched it off it would immediately become really warm! But that was it :-)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent, extremely polite and helpful at all times. The location was fabulous and breakfast was excellent. The drivers arranged by the hotel for airport transfers and full day tour exceeded all expectations and are highly recommended. A fabulous boutique hotel. Thank you!
Cons: There was only a limited supply of toiletries in the room, although more were provided on request. There was no kettle or tea bags or milk for tea drinkers, although a coffee machine and capsules are provided - but this had no instructions.

Pros: Service. Aesthetics. Bar area and spa.
Cons: Drink prices were expensive. Sometimes service was over attentive. A little removed from the city center.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel in a great location! walk outside and turn left and find a heap of bars/cuisines to eat along with a huge shopping centre 10-15 minute walk away. Views from sauna room and gym are fabulous.
Cons: There was no outside pool or sunbathing at this facility
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have visited Lisbon before and really enjoyed the renovated Universal Exhibition area especially the aquarium. We saw the Myriad hotel like a huge sail and decided that if we came beck we’d like to stay there. We really enjoyed walking along the waterfront, taking the cable car, visiting the aquarium again, hanging out in the lounge like cafes. We visited the traditional heart of Lisbon by bus and by car (which we parked so we could walk everywhere) - both easy - and loved the atmosphere but were glad to come back to the calm and the huge view over the river. The best of both worlds. The service is truly excellent and very friendly. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We didn’t have time to try the pool and spa - next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds. Amazing breakfast. Tasting menu with wine , very nice experience.

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly - food very good. Not sure about the open-plan bedroom/shower situation. The grey/red/black colours in the room are not my thing. But clean and very comfy bed.
Cons: The breakfast area was chaotic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and style of the hotel. Hotel was so sleek and contemporary in design but, the staff was warm and very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the spa as well.
Cons: Menu items were limited. I think they could have a few more choices.

Pros: Wonderful spa, fantastic breakfast. Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive bar at the pool
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Front desk and restaurant staff was terrific and helpful, breakfast was excellent quality and offered a great selection.
Cons: Television made loud, crackling noises on several channels, upholstery on a chair was extremely worn, carpet had a bad stain.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean hotel, delightful staff in a different location providing a different view of Lisbon both figuratively and actually.
Cons: Roof top bar rowdy, check in issues requiring 3 visits to the front desk, previous customers' mini bar usage on our bill, bed saggy in the middle & a little worn, just a few of the niggles....
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with great choice communal areas and lovely excellent restaurant and breakfast.
Cons: The lighting in the room is over- complicated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the hotel!! Amazing decor, great rooftop pool, lovely spa, tasty breakfast, beautiful big room and fantastic staff!
Cons: Loved everything but we were a bit disappointed that we left the room at 9 am and they were cleaning it at 6pm! They then came back to clean the bathroom when we were in the room!! But such a small thing for such a lovely hotel :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The decor, the staff and the bathroom were all excellent. Breakfast is also brilliant, they have everything you could possibly want. I requested some blueberries , and the waiter returned with a variety of berries for my wife and I.
Cons: The only negative experience we had was having to ring reception 3 times to get fresh towels to our room. We stressed that we needed them asap however over an hour and a half passed and still no towels. After ringing a third time, the receptionist seemed shocked that our request had not been addressed by housekeeping who she had instructed to bring us towels. The secretary did apologise but this was no good to us as both my wife and I had to go out that evening without a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel - wonderful breakfast, luxurious room, attentive and professional staff, amazing roof-top pool

6.2 Good
Cons: When we (group of six people) book with paid in full and check in to hotel, we DID NOT know that we have to pay the taxes 2 euros per day and the person help to check in did not mention that either. After we signed our name on the card which we DID NOT see the taxes 2 euros per day on the card, but when we check out someone put that taxes 2 euros per day on the card afterward. THAT IS NOT RIGHT. IT IS THE MATTER OF PRINCIPLE. They can put any amount on the card after we signed. We REFUSED to pay the taxes. I hope that the hotel do not charge us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super hotel. Alles klopt
Cons: Alles was top
7.5 Good
Cons: Messed up my reservation despite booking weeks before. Double booked our suite so ended up with 2 adjoining rooms- not the suite I paid for. No goodwill gesture, just offered to cancel my stay and refund me - after I had arrived!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Not an easy access to the reception for handicapped and elderly people
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful!
Cons: N/A
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything, good breakfast, sky bar
Cons: A bit if mess up with our room
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great property all round including rooms, lobby area, great gym and outdoor pool. Location is very central and it is an easy walk to historic areas and central square
Cons: Staff were generally great however a few could be a bit more cheerful. Elevators could be a bit slow at times
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant sevice, great food, stunning rooftop bar and restaurant. Staff were very helpful and a perfect location to see the sights and sounds of Lisbon.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location is fantastic! It is right on the main street and within the walking distances to all key monuments, businesses and restaurants. It has a lovely lobby and plenty of meeting rooms
Cons: Rooms are old and tired. I did not like the pool which is kind of oddly designed and outdoor. I think because it is so highly occupied, there isn't enough free time to do a proper Capex which is much needed for this property.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Clean and location
Cons: Staff is ok, but the so called lady executive mgr was not friendly and not try to solve problems. She did not try to make a six dollar error on a 3 nite stay. She said that mistake had to make by their executive DIRECTOR . That six dollar had to charge when we check out( they did not tell us when we checked in. And our was a PREPAID stay). The washing sink basin was made of kind of soft pastic( in a 4, 5 star hotel ??).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was fabulous. Staff very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine Omelette stations needs some work.

7.0 Good
Pros: good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room

Pros: Everything is good

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, palace and outdoor swimming pool
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel without being pretentious
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The palace itself has been restored to its original condition with wonderful public areas whilst the accommodation is in two modern attached wings. We were upgraded to a suite which was vey spacious and comfortable. Meals were outstanding if a little expensive. All staff that we dealt with were very courteous and helpful. The quietness and seclusion of the location makes the slight inconvenience of a taxi ride into Lisbon worthwhile.
Cons: Having to dine in the bar on our first night due to a private function booking out the restaurant. A hotel of this class should have an exclusive dining area for house guests available at all times.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The building itself of course, a wonderful travel in the history of Portugal, Pousadas are not to be compared with any luxury hotel, they are far beyond as they provide a unique historical experience. The welcome of the people working there, their elegance and dedication, with a special mention for Rita and Manuel who took great care of us and made our stay trully wonderful.
Cons: The first room was a bit noisy because close to the air conditioning system
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Superb breakfasts!
Cons: Under flight path to Lisbon airport so aircraft noise always in back round.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: very opulent...
Cons: the sauna and steam room areas are not the best. and steamroom was not working at all...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The gardens were a refresher from the city. The palace building is beautiful.
Cons: The facilities need updating. Also, renovation to the palace will give it a better look and feel. It feels now as a museum more than a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful. They gave us an upgrade on arrival and let us have a late check out the next day. Faultless.

Pros: Great place. Good rooms. Great view.
Cons: Pool was under renovation. Which they did not inform us before we arrived. They had a high rating for cleanliness. But they did a very poor job cleaning our room and bathroom, Picking up trash from the room and they didn’t clean the ashtray in the balcony. For the price we were paying close to 600 dollars a night per room the stay was very poor.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Indira at reception Pedro,Livio Ariana Anna in dining Luis,Danielle in concierge put the hotel over the top for us!we vacation often and loved our experience here Room was great overlooking park, breakfast was extensive and relaxing. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything works! Anything you need is catered for! This is the Four Seasons standard wherever you go.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location , very clean rooms , professional staff
Cons: It's not that i absolutely disliked it but the fact that i had to pay for parking and breakfast at least 75 euros/ day added up to the already 680 euros/ night i had paid , i would expect from a budget hotel or something simillar , not Ritz/Four Seasons, in addition to the fact that we are talking about the luxury of a 90s high-end hotel , nowadays outdated for what Ritz/Four Seasons claims to be.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The property is a bit old and smelly
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was one of the Best I have ever seen after staying across the globe in the best of hotels!!Right from the front desk, to the concierge, restaurant staff, housekeeping!!I think the warm ness of the staff makes it a 7 star property

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful service, great location and spacious rooms. We were treated very kindly and received very responsive help as we had some sick members in the family. Thanks a lot
Cons: Small pool area and gym
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideally located close to the centre of things with possible views of the Tagus River. Staff were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.
6.3 Good
Cons: Décor & Visual ambience. Breakfast room was emotionally grey and dull. there was nothing to inspire you and say wow that was amazing.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, very clean.
Cons: It is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel to have such lack of bathroom privacy. It is essential to have proper walls and doors that separate bedrooms from bathrooms and not just a glass wall and door that doesn’t close properly. The rate they charge for this hotel is inadequate to the product you are receiving. In addition to that we were woken up at 9am in the morning by a very loud cleaner in the next room moving furniture.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Well appointed rooms and spacious with high ceilings. Cool, contemporary bathrooms.
Cons: The mattress was al title firm and the pillows not very high quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel, peaceful, lovely restaurant and breakfast room, pleasant, helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The concierge Ines was extremely helpful, as was Jorge the valet. The customer service was outstanding. We only had a few days to enjoy as much as we could, and this Pousada made it happen. The location by the Praca do Comercio was very close to so many sights within walking distance.
Cons: Our stay was too short!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was like a cloud and the room was very modern and nice. Beautiful sophisticated hotel with incredible staff, especially Inez.
Cons: The bathroom could have been a bit larger.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were wonderful and the apartment was amazing! Location perfect for exploring the city and nightlife.
Cons: Everything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so very helpful and kind
Cons: Our room was much too dark. We called it the dungeon. The designer should have thought of light boxes or light wells to get natural light into the room somehow
5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff is lovely, helpful and responsive.
Cons: This cannot be a 5 stars hotel. My rating would have been different if it were presented as a 4 stars at best. Had I known this, I would never have booked this hotel. Unlike the pictures, the rooms are actually dark with little windows (I had my room changed once). There is a major renovation project next door, so be prepared for noise, but most importantly, workers walking on scaffolding right outside your window!! The SPA is clearly an afterthought: the Turkish bath was not working and the light was broken. The sauna is tiny and you have to turn it on yourself and wait for it forever to heat up. You are provided with only one towel and there are no hooks around to hang anything. The treatment rooms are not properly sound insulated (I could hear the conversation from the adjacent room).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Having breakafast at the rooftop bar is really wonderful and remarkable ... nice and charming service and delicous fresh food ... hoping the area around we not be flooded by drunken tourist at night and stupid souvenir shops with annoying restaurants ....
Cons: Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room and kitchenette. Super tasty welcome drink on the rooftop deck. Dinner on the rooftop was good too, although expensive.
Cons: Room was dark (mine was on the first floor). Construction and portapotties outside of window. Outside view did not enhance room at all. No bathtub.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff Great location Great view
Cons: Amenities could be better given the price we paid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice friendly hotel with attention to details. Helpful stuff and great location as well . Will be back
9.5 Excellent
Pros: No swimming pool and no kids club
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and the decor was great. Rooftop was also lovely.
Cons: Small bedroom and bathroom- service can be better as it is not consistent. Service at rooftop and spa were great, front desk not so much (with the exception of Ines and Goncalo who were great!)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and room.
Cons: Wished there was a view from the room.

Cons: Really not applicable.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The complete guest house are extremely clean and neat. The breakfast very good and the host are going out of his wat to assist. Even with Google Translater nothing was to much asked.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is run by a very attentive couple, Sr. Faustino and his wife. The staff, Ana is very nice, too. They are always ready to help with travel tips. The location is very strategic for who is looking for visiting Sintra and Cascais region. Very close to Carcavelos. The guesthouse has the service of a hotel. I recomend.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The breakfast was ok for the place. One of the best offers off fruit juice that I ever found!! The place is extremely clean and the rooms were a enormous surprise. 100% "Hotel". I truly recommend this place. Mr. Faustino is a humble gentleman, what a pleasure.
Cons: The lobby could be more visually "warm". The isolation (in the room facing the road) could be better.

Pros: Gorgeous hotel with spot-on amenities. Fantastic and very friendly staff. Breakfast was very well done.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Browns was a small boutique hotel in downtown Lisbon. It’s location made exploring easy and the staff at the desk and the bar were amazingly helpful and always happy. The room, although small (small room with street view) was perfect. All the little details and extras made up for the lack of size. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.
Cons: If I had to find anything to dislike it would be trying to get in room the first time. There was a little trick to opening it with the key.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent and the room had everything we needed.
Cons: The breakfast could have been a bit more better, especially offering some more gluten free things. They just had bread.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the quirky decor. Bedroom felt luxurious and the bar was a great place to unwind. Central location was perfect for exploring Lisbon.
Cons: Don’t expect a quiet location as it is straight out the front door onto the busy streets of Central Lisbon. However, once inside the front door it was easy to unwind and relax, ready for the next adventure.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location & staff professionalism
Cons: Requested 3 double rooms and only one had a double bed
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location and some of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Cons: Some staff were dismissive when we asked for bedding that was to perfumy to sleep with. They never delivered new sheets as many guests requested, we ended up sleeping with wool blankets and turned the A/C very low as it was July.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good
Cons: I had the hotel call for a hotel private car to carry me to the airport / it was not on time - so I got a taxi - the hotel didn’t offer to find a taxi for me and it was raining
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed mattress and the shower head.
Cons: Slow house keeping service.
6.3 Good
Pros: Look & feel
Cons: Bad staff. Terrible service
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location just a few steps away from central Lisbon's many attractions.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good, but the staff was a bit snobby.
Cons: Some of the staff were so wonderful (and some were unresponsive to a request for bedding that was too fragrant to sleep in) or downright rude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything. The location, the staff, the amenities were all great. The room was very modern and spacious. Would definitely stay again if I return to Lisbon and recommend to anyone!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Overall good value for money. Good breakfast. Very nice service at the reception.
Cons: We chose the suite apartment, however it is not worth it, as most of the space is occupied with a long corridor. There is very little space in the closet, as half of it was occupied by the kitchenette. The quality of the room in terms of curtains and sound isolation was very good, but so what if the designer chose to fill in most of the space with mirrors which maybe help pretend the room is bigger but in fact are magnets for multiple lights and LEDs from switches which are impossible to turn off. Therefore it is not possible to make the room really dark at night - can be bothersome. As they say, 'design is how it works, not how it looks' - which I guess makes the room poorly designed:)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff Services
Cons: Cleanness

5.8 Okay
Pros: The concept is very cool, the bed was comfortable, location was quite good

Pros: View from room. Friendly and accommodating service from staff.
Cons: Ambulances constantly (it seemed) going to nearby hospital using sirens during day and early evenings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place is very clean and pleasantly quiet, staff extremely friendly and very helpful. We went for a dinner and we enjoyed it so much. Salmon and mushroom risotto were top notch. Singing in the shower were brilliant. Sound were out of this world ^_^. Location of the hotel was perfect you have a Tram 28 stop and a Metro Station (Intendente) literally 50 meters away from the main entrance.
Cons: What's the story with he pillows? They are so balloonish ;).

5.5 Okay
Pros: Rooms a good size Good breakfast Helpful in booking taxis
Cons: Double charged at check out and unhelpful in rectifying the situation Husband accused very aggressively of not paying bill at rooftop bar , he had receipt in wallet- no apology for accusing him of same
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s location and excellent customer service
Cons: The bistro staff,
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Every one of the staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful.
Cons: The air conditioning did not cool the room properly. Reported this and they did respond quickly and sent someone to fix. Still too warm though and we could not leave the terrace door open for cool air due to construction next door.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. Very nice staff, also the restaurant is good !
7.5 Good
Pros: location and reception, bar staff the room also nice
Cons: the breakfast was really poor and staff not nice, also the refilling of food that was over ba, bad selection or options to offer. Unfortunate that a Hotel like this has such a poor breakfast Also the room service poor, one day we left early morning and came late night a nd the bathroom was poorly done or cleaned, it has the same stain in the toilet that we left in the morning so obviously the bathroom was not done, unacceptable
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and friendly staff. Nice sized indoor pool. Healthy but doable walk to scenic areas and metro.
Cons: Has the "modern" room set up with a glass door bathroom, so the other person is disturbed by the light shining through. Beware that you will be charged 2.5 euros for each coffee pod beyond the two offered! Gym is small but workable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, staff friendly and very helpful. Great facilities.
Cons: Nothing not to like
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in a very good area of Lisbon. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a cake and bottle of champagne. The location is great just 15 mins walk to city centre. Swimming pool facility was really good.
Cons: Breakfast was overly priced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful palace built by a 19th Century cocoa importer made a Count by the King. Magnificent building, professional and friendly staff, excellent breakfast included, comfortable rooms and good (not great) fitness center, spa and pool.
Cons: Not as many drawers for clothes as would be ideal; no facecloths in bathroom (only towels), location is 1+ mile away from the main activities so cabs are required.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Comfortable room. Excellent restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff .
Cons: We ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay. On the first night the service was excellent - staff were very attentive with all our needs met quickly. By comparison on the second night the service was much poorer. Staff not so attentive and food and drink service much slower.
4.5 Okay
Cons: Poor service! A five star hotel is not just a nice piece of real state on a hot location. It's about people making your experience a top one. Rude people at front desk, sloppy service....BAD!
Palácio do Governador - Lisbon - Building
17
9.1 Excellent (2,000 reviews)
Overview Reviews
It’s not just another hotel in Lisbon. It is the Palácio do Governador (Governor’s Palace, in English), with 60 different rooms, near the Tagus river in the historic centre of Belém, one of the most beautiful and emblematic areas of the Portuguese capital. Built on the site of the former house of the governor of the Tower of Belém, exquisitely restored, on top of roman ruins probably from the 1st to the 5th century, the Palácio do Governador is a palatial building with a reception that once was a chapel, a restaurant with original domes as ceilings and contemporary SPA that’s linked to the ancient thermal traditions of Mediterranean cultures. Close to the Tagus and national historic monuments, Palácio do Governador is the natural choice for anyone who wants to be in Lisbon, near everything, from culture to leisure and far enough from the frenzy of the city centre.
6.3 Good
Pros: I liked the location, staff was very polite, design was pleasant like you would expect but......
Cons: When you see a 4 star hotel you would expect more than this: -Breakfast was really bad, if you go to a supermarket across the street you will find better pastry, not to mention that in nine days nothing changed at all. -Coffee is really bad if you order it from staff during breakfast. There is luckily a coffee machine, but it is still like a coffee from your car service, nothing special. Coffee in the room is charged 2 euro per peace, or something like that (nespresso). -Inside pool was really shallow, outside one is deeper but not so big. You also need to pay 5 euros for a swimming cap for the inside one, if you do not have one of course. This cap is not from the material you would expect, it is so bad that they should give it for free. Around the pool, for me at least, it was extremely slippery. -If you suffer from allergies, you will be disappointed to know that in every room there is a carpet. Plus considering that in Lisbon weather is hot and moist, carpets are the worst combo. The smell in our room on the second floor and the corridors is unpleasant at most. - Furniture in the room was old and chipped. Door from the closet didn't want to close, we asked them to fix it they didn't. In the end we learned a trick how to close the door. I was asking myself the whole time i was there how was it possible for this hotel to have such a high score on booking. How? I can not recommend this hotel. For the prices that they have this is unacceptable!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charming building with beautiful azulejo panels and original walls / ceiling. Very close to attractions in Belém district and not far from Lisboa downtown. Helpful and solicit staff. Large and comfortable shower, separated from toilet seat. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Gym equipment is not good. Lighting in the room is confusing. The air conditioning system in the room makes your skin/hair get really dry. Lisboa downtown is not close by walking distance, but we knew this in advance. When trying ti open bed sheets, I accidentally lifted the mattress protector and found a hair there. Not a deal breaker, as the rest of the cleaning was fine and cleaning staff was polite, but raises yellow flag to management.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the complimentary breakfast, the staff, the public rooms, and the ease and frequency of public transport 1 block away. Also, they gave us lots of little complimentary “extras”... free bottle of wine with dinner, discounted spa services during “happy hour,” free welcome drink, etc.
Cons: Can’t really think of anything.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty to choose from. Excellent spa facilities! Valet parking service included!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great spa facilities, pools, bed in the room was great!
Cons: Well for a 5 star hotel a few things were a bit annoying. Check in they didn’t really explain anything about the hotel, breakfast times etc. They gave me the room key card, I went up to the second floor and twice it didn’t work, had to go back down. Then i was charged 12 euros for 2 waters which is ridiculous!! I believe that it was wrong because there was food on the bill and I never ordered food. The hotel itself is huge, with great facilities but directions within the hotel is quite confusing. The communication in general was very confusing. One last thing, the lights switches should have some kind of label or something. It was so confusing you don’t know what light is corresponded to which room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location for music festival was great, staff were more than helpful and rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: This was the second time that I have been here and due to it being busier on this occasion, there were issues. The breakfast buffet plates had grease on more than just one plate, and it took a few plates to get a clean item. Some tables were not ready for service, still had plates from earlier residents, could have been cleared for re-use quicker.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed was fabulous, room and hotel spotless, decor throughout is beautiful. Great location. Some staff were particularly helpful.. Karla and Marguerita in the spa, Tiago in the bar was excellent and Marcos on reception was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Breakfast buffet is not 5 star, very little choice of fruit, would have loved some berries and nicer granola, more options at the cheese counter, may some tomatoes etc. we had our tea served in milk jugs on one morning!! But most of all we brought some guests to the bar for lunch, there were 8 of us and it too 1.5 hours before we got our food. I don’t know why the lone waitress could not have called some more staff to help, there seemed to be plenty of staff in hotel and we were the only guests in the bar!! We were very embarrassed. We only met a manager when we were checking out, otherwise there were lots of very young and very nervous staff, especially at reception. I know that they are probably in training but they should be still thought to acknowledge guests and tell them that their colleagues will attend to them as soon as possible
9.3 Excellent
Pros: - The staff was excellent in every detail - The comfort of the bed - Inside pool is beautiful - Caribbean Rain Storm simulator shower - The breakfast was fabulous
Cons: - To use the jacuzzi you need to pay 35€ per person - The room was very hot all the time even with the air con turned on - The number of chairs in both pools was too little for the amount of guests in high season
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This wasn't my first stay in the hotel and will not be the last, definitely. This is a beautiful place with an ancient charm. Located in the historical Belem, far from the noise, which gives you the possibility to relax, but with very good public transport connections that make travelling around the city easy. The facilities of the hotel are superb, great outdor swimming pool and delicious breakfast. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Cons: Not the cheapest place to stay, but totally worth it. A building site nearby is sometimes noisy in the mornings :/
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel . So close to everything in Belem region
Cons: Everything great . Room , pool , food , staff all excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Really kept you going through the day. The roof terrace was a hit with both the kids and the grown-ups. (Wasn't the cheapest drinks in town though.) Location was good, just around he corner for the old bullfight arena. The area itself wasn't that interesting I guess, but the Metro was just 20 steps from the hotell entrance, and took you to any area in Lisbon in just a few minutes. (A day pass made the journeys very easy.)
Cons: I have no complaints. We were kept waiting for service at the roof top a couple of times, without many guests around, that was a bit annoying, but that's it really.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good Hotel, nice infinity pool, friendly staff and good location outside of the usual tourist spots in a charming residential area. The breakfast is huge. Good for families with kids too.
Cons: A bit noisy at night due to the proximity to one of the main roads. The tube is closed by but you need to change line to go to the center. There are also plenty of buses that bring you to the center. A taxi to the center is roughly 6,5 euro. You can find a supermarket just on the other side of Avenida da Republica. There are plenty of cheap and good tascas (small family restaurants) in the neighborhood.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: ajj good staff especially
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pool area. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: 45 minute walk to main attractions. Expensive breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms with very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Very good breakfast
Cons: A bit too far away from the centre to walk, however the metro is in front of the hotel and brings in 10 minutes to the centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooftop bar and gym
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself is gorgeous. The staff were lovely. The bed was huge and so comfortable. There was a rain shower in the bathroom in the room. And the rooftop pool and bar area was lovely. You could watch the planes dropping over the city.
Cons: The location was quite far outside where you wanted to be in the city, there wasn't a lot around. It wasn't a big issue as we just got Ubers everywhere for less than 5 euro but meant you had to plan where you were heading each day. The indoor pool was 12 euro each to go into per day. It is really nice and relaxing but the price is a bit steep for a swim. Breakfast was also a really expensive addition to the room so we didn't opt for it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff & breakfast very good.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good facilities, awesome poolside music in the evening and gym was suitable for a decent workout.
Cons: Expensive for food and drinks etc.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good nights sleep in a quiet and comfy room. Nice pool area on the roof with friendly staff serving nice drinks and food.
Cons: Not informed most of the spa was under renovation. Bar lacking atmosphere
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge bed! Best hotel complementary breakfast I’ve ever had. Very clean.
Cons: Parking garage sign needs to be more visible.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved the spa, roof top bar, overall simply lovely!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The style, cleanliness and service. The staff was very good, especially at reception and at the restaurants
Cons: No iron board in the room and lacking hooks to hang the towels in the bathroom
8.0 Excellent
Cons: location is far from main touristic attractions and not much around (walking distance)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel which exceeded our expectations. Little one loved it. Lovely breakfasts with live pianist! Good location; 5 mins walk to metro and mainline station so very easy to get around town and day trip to say Sintra. Would highly recommend.
Cons: I'm probably being veeeery picky here. I'm used to there being a kettle in the room so I can make a cuppa, however there was no kettle for tea making within the room itself. Had to call room service and they delivered our tea (with pastries, which was nice actually), but would have preferred to make it myself at my own convenience to be honest! There was a coffee machine with sachets in the room for coffee lovers! May not be an issue for most people though I suspect!

Cons: The location isn’t close to the center of Lisbon
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It had good conference facilities.
Cons: The location is in a dull, out of the way district. The rooms are too small. The small amount of counter space was cluttered with overpriced offerings for food and drink. The check in and checkout procedures were inefficient and time consuming .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is just excellent!
Cons: A bit noisy because of the airport proximity, a bit far from the center of Lisbon (but there is a Subway line 5 minutes away from the hotel).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow!Tough question especially when the product is first class and ran like a "well oiled machine".
Cons: There is nothing I can say to improve perfection

Cons: Bathroom is small. Space on the sink sucks. Elevators are bad, take too long and always one was stopped (broken)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in a very convenient location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The entire staff was great. Not only were they extremely helpful, but were nice and fun. They helped us to park, recommended a great restaurant, made reservations for us, and sent birthday sparkling wine to the room. Our friend had to stay an extra day on her own - I felt comfortable knowing that she would be in good hands while staying at the hotel. Special mention to Paolo at front desk and the young man who also helped us (only 18, but such a professional!). Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Not a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is very well organized, and in my three stays with the hotel, the food is always of quality. I enjoyed a light supper in the bar for the first time and enjoyed that as well.

Cons: We were charged twice - but they corrected it quickly.
