the location is near to almost everything it doesn't have a disco to go at night and the area is somewhat risky at night
very nice modern style, well organized and operated well no buffet breakfast included in rate, seperate charge of R$26.00
The hotel is modern and up to international standards for a business hotel. The staff aim to please and are generally quite helpful The hotel is located in a poor neighbourhood. If you are there for a convention or business meetings you will probably not even notice but if you have plenty of leisure time on your hands the immediate area is very down at the heels. It gives the impression of being rather unsafe but I didn't experience any problems other than tripping over homeless people.
Nice people, clean room, good location for business (sao paulo downtown) Rooms a bit too noisy, no indication of the hotel's name
nice hotel, comfortable room, convenient location no buffet breakfast included in rate, seperate charge of R$29.00, internet although free, only at a very very low 64k speed which is useless
Weekend(Sunday) room rate is high. This will become an issue for my next hotel choice if the same conditon(higher rate on Sunday) will remain.
The staff could communicate effectively in English, which was a tremendous help to non-Brazilian Portuguese speaking guests like me. The location is central to the city. Housekeeping cannot be reached at certain hours (for example, between 7-9 pm in the evenings). The calls to this department will go unanswered. Some of the towels are not inspected for quality checks and they are stained from use. I encourage the hotel to conduct thorough checks and discard those whose stains cannot be removed from normal laundry washes.
Nice breakfast, helpful staff, excellent central location
very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and perfect for recovering from my eleven hour flight from the Uk. A great location, very near the metro. It was difficult to switch on the air conditioning unit. Maybe it was broken??
brealfast buffet ok included in piece of room location location location in tenderloing area not safest at night.
A kind of wierd place... it seems as if they took an old hotel and tried to make it `funky`, kind of loft style... it hasn´t yet worked! Staff were not at all helpful- eg couldn~t be bothered to call a cab for us. Internet is via prepaid vouchers in a very loud bar area.
Good english-speaking stuff, free Internet connection, quite good brekafasts. Noise from the street, smells from the kitchen in the morning - due to very poor window condition. Problems with invoice - but it was general in Brazil - not prepared to the European tax system.
Located near tourist attractions and good restaurants and bars. Good price. Room was spacious by urban hotel standards. Room was clean. Good internet. Spacious bath. I would stay again given price I paid of US$50/night No English-speaking staff. None. And some of them were not very friendly or respectful of my poor attempts to communicate in Portuguese. Foreign travelers should be warned. Learn a little Portuguese if you want to stay here. For room size, there was only one little chair, so not terribly comfortable to relax. Breakfast was average or slightly below. AC seemed hit and miss. Comfort in the room went up and down. Hotel was advertised as 5 star. It was OK but I would peg as 3-4 star.
The room is clean and new. I loved the bed and the pillow. It clearly is an executive minded hotel. Really good bathroom with a great shower. It is also located besides a movie theater. The rooms facing the street are noisy. Elevators are few and small. This hotel has a very central location in São Paulo - which means the neighborhood isn´t great.
This hotel is located in the city centre which is not very safe and there is no safety deposit box in the rooms. The rooms include a bed and a table. This hotel is more suitable for locals that are familiar with the area and speak Portuguese.
Near the Repblica Square. Many restaurants choices nearby. Almost all staff don't speak English. No airport shuttle bus. The servant opens the door without knocking.
Normally I stay at Marian Palace Hotel close by which is being renovated but I willseriously consider staying at the Shelton Planalto in future
The location as well as the comfort in the room
The location of the hotel is very close to the subway station and bus station for airport shuttle bus. Unfrendly staff and manager. Despite the fact that we payed the room with breakfast included for 3 persons, the staff denided to give us anything in the mornig because we left too early.
Good location, near the metro station, clean rooms, staff was very helpful on late check-out, altogether very affordable hotel with no flaws if you need just a solid room with breakfast
Hotel Stuff can not speak english well, not very helpful
Good location, right beside a metro station and Praça da Republica. Reasonable rates.
The breakfast is outstanding. The staffs, particularly Edson, are wonderful. The location is very close to the Metro station. The dinner is also pretty nice. May be they can remove the 10% service charge. The other hotels don't charge that.
Good lighting in the room. Friendly staff. Located in the down town area which is not safe at night.
Cheap price. Not much else too desirable. Room was less than clean. Old hotel, although the lobby was nice.
Nice, efficient hotel, friendly staff with varying English capabilities. Located right downtown at a decent price. Nice breakfast.
really comfortable and peaceful hotel near, very near Placa Republica metro in Sao Paulo. Clean and cool.
Staff was great, really helpful. Food was also really good.
The staff was really kind, and really tried to fullfill my needs. The breakfast service was also really good The rooms were really ugly for the price. Also, the location is dangerous and ugly at night. The rooms were not very comfy, nor was the bathroom.
Staff very helpful and flexible on checkout time. This part of the Centro area is a bombsite after dark; hoards of street people appear when the stores close and rip the garbage apart looking for food, but the police presence makes it more intimidating than dangerous and it's interesting to watch (for a non-Brazillian) from the relative safety of your hotel window.
Nothing! Everything. There was a horrible staff! Not recommendable!
Pleasant, good value for money Good break fast
bad neighborhood and room very basic
It is near from every places that I've been and I was welcome restaurant
The hotel is very near the subway and the city center. The street is noisy and the room is very basic.
