Pros: An amazing location and a very warm welcome was waiting for us at Fontamil, we would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to our friends and family, especially enjoyed the evening meals - thank you :)
Pros: Host were super friendly, food was home made and amazing and rooms clean and cozy. Will com back. 10/10
Pros: Incredible views, friendly cats!
Cons: Ceilings/floors seem to be a single plank thick, and the guests above us were very noisy from 0430 onwards.
Pros: The advice and care given by the staff was incredible, we all felt really welcome all weekend. The breakfast with homemade jams and eggs from their own hens was amazing. We stayed in one of the apartments with the dog for a weekend and it had everything we needed and was incredibly comfortable. Everytime time we had a question it was answered by the staff with complete care and attention. I couldn't recommend a stay here highly enough.
Pros: The family were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable and well-equipped. Food was excellent. Surroundings stunning.
Cons: No lift and a lot of steps from the car to the room - a bit of a challenge for our ageing muscles!
Pros: Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy beautiful nature and really amazing house with kind hosts!

Pros: Great location with fantastic views from the balcony. Dinner on the veranda was very special. Wonderful breakfast, picnic lunch and delicious dinners. The owners and staff are very friendly. I thought everything was reasonably priced.
Pros: Magnificent view from the room.
Cons: The drive up through the narrow tunnels is not for the faint-hearted. It’s very much worth it though
Pros: My second stay. Good bedroom tastefully decorated as was the bathroom .The heating came on at the appropriate time and the hotel was warm. Good food , breakfast , dinner and one of the better wine lists I've seen ; all kept in temperature controlled cabinets. A well patronised hotel especially at lunch time.Excellent views from bedroom .
Pros: The decor of this hotel was a refreshing change from the totally neutral decoration of other hotels. Good quality furniture. A wine list featuring many decent wines.
Cons: I thought that the chef needed to cook his crinkly chips a little longer.
Pros: We liked Casa Anita because it is the perfect place to stay when you want to go hiking in the breathtaking nature... We also loved the great variety of birds of prey, absolutely stunning. Best thing to do is to first visit the tourism office in Plan (2 km from the hotel), there you can learn more about the hiking trails in the neighbourhood. Breakfast and dinner are good for a really good price (menu between 16 and 24 euros for three courses). The room has a good size, is very clean and we really liked the bed and the pillows.
Pros: The hotel is impressive, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and in a lovely location. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. We wanted to see the lammergeier (Bearded Vulture) whilst we were there. The staff phoned a local birder who suggested where we should look and, bingo, first stop and we found them. Great service and we were delighted. The restaurant was good, food and service excellent. We had a superior room with a balcony overlooking the valley and village. We loved it. We were told that the wifi might be a bit flakey outside the public areas but it was absolutely fine in our room.
Cons: Probably the first review I have written here where I can't think of anything!
When you stay at Hotel Boutique Mediodía in Plan, you'll be on the waterfront and steps from Gistaín Valley. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Unique well renovated hotel run by delightful staff
Pros: Set in the Spanish side of the Pyrenees, the location is beautiful (although our room looked out over the parking). It is quite remote and there are not many choices for dinner - I would, however, recommend Casa Ruche. Small, quaint bar and restaurant serving local lamb dishes and excellent wines!
Cons: Floorboards were very creaky, which made it a bit noisy. It would have been great to have a room with a view of the mountains - ours was the car park and a bit drab.
Pros: Outstanding breakfast. Wonderful location in the heart of the Chistau valley. Excellent value for money
Pros: Nice location with fabulous breakfast.
Cons: Cleaning could be a bit better and bed very soft which is more of personal preference and an issue.
Pros: Amazing hotel , with awesome view

Surrounded by Pineta Valley, Hostal Restaurante Asador Pañart is located in Bielsa, on the foothills of Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. The charming hostel offers a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. The stone building features colourful rooms with a private bathroom including a bidet and hairdryer. There is a TV and a balcony with impressive mountain views. The property is located by Cinca River, in the Aragonese Pyrenees. The Piau-Engaly Ski Slopes in France are 30 minutes’ drive away. Huesca is 130 km away, while Boltaña is 49 km from the property.
Pros: Value for money. Very helpful staff. Generous portions of food. Good breakfast. Easy to walk into Bielsa. Easy to locate hotel & to park.
Pros: This is the first time we are giving a perfect score on booking.com. The location is great to explore the eastern side of the national park Ordessa y Monte Perdido. We hiked in the Pineta valley and visited the Escuain gorge. The rooms are of decent size, perfectly quiet, very clean and comfortable. In another review, someone noted that there is no air conditioning and no fans, and we were worried it would be uncomfortably warm in the summer. But, it seems they read the reviews and redressed the issue. There was a nice ventilator in our room during our visit. The staff was very warm and friendly in a very relaxed, genuine and rural sort of way. We had our breakfast and all our dinners at this restaurant. It's just excellent! and they expertly worked around our food allergy issues. Google asked us questions like if this place has "live music", "game rooms", "yoga lessons" etc. The answers are all no, and in our book, those things would be "anti-features" for a mountain retreat. If you need those things to feel relaxed, this place is not for you. If you love mountains and wildlife (Lammergeier, griffon vultures, royal kite ...), this is a perfect place to stay.
Cons: Nothing that the hotel can be blamed for, e.g., it's around 90 km from the western side of the Ordessa national park.
Pros: Simple, straightforward and in a good place. A taste of rural Spanish life.
Pros: The staff are the nicest we ever met. Beat that! Breakfast à la carte - choose as much as you like.
Cons: Impossible to cool the room during the heatwave.
Pros: Pleasant hotel. Friendly staff at hotel and restaurant. Very good breakfast (special service when we had to leave very early) Great value for money
Pros: Lovely location by the side of the river & a short stroll in to the village. The room was basic, no thrills, but what you expect for the price. However the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had everything you need & the staff were friendly. We enjoyed freshly cooked eggs for breakfast. A good base for exploring the Eastern end of the Parque Nacional De Ordesa
Pros: ... and a very good evening menu:) Nice, helpful owners, nice room, good wifi, easy to reach from the GR11
Pros: Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the value for money is excellent.

Pros: The reception staff were very helpful and let us keep our room a hit longer so we could walk in the area.
Pros: Everything - great room and nice hotel. Incredible for the price.
Cons: The bath was maybe a little small but I am a very tall man.
Pros: Easy to find right in the road place isn’t modern but was clean enough . Good parking for the motorcycle . Put my bags in my room at 4 needs something to eat but nothing till 8 ! Couldn’t wait that long went up the little town . Everywhere was shut . Found a tiny supermarket which wasn’t the best . Hotel was good for me as a transit stop all was good
Cons: It was noisy , had the worst neighbours banging around half the night . Luck of the draw
Pros: Clean and friendly
Cons: Nothing all good
Pros: The room, bed and bedding are extremely comfortable-I always sleep well here. The decor of the rooms and hotel defies the price - it feels like a much more expensive hotel than it actually is. The staff speak English and will go the extra mile to help you. Bags of car parking also which is a plus and Bielsa is a nice place to stay.
Cons: Honestly - not a thing. They only serve breakfast and dinner - if you want food at an odd time you’ll need to find a cafe (of which there are many in the area)
Pros: Nice room, comfortable bed and very clean. Terrific breakfast and very helpful and accommodating staff. Also ample car parking.
Cons: I liked everything about it.
Pros: The room and bedding are very comfortable - I always sleep well here. The price is excellent and it’s great value for money. The hotel feels like it should cost more than it does. Dinner and breakfast are good value add ons. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging. Nothing is too much trouble.
Cons: Nothing at all. It’s my “to go” to hotel in the Pyrenees.
Pros: A great base to stop en-route north or south by the Bielsa tunnel. Clean, comfy, slightly old-fashioned roadside hotel. Excellent value for money and the evening set menu was only 17 euros for 3 courses and wine. Good food, well presented and served.
Pros: Very welcoming host - no common language but no problem at all - hand signals for the win! Supercute town, good restaurant recommendation.
Cons: Street was easy to find but a little hard to identify which house on the street.
Pros: A lovely and very helpful family. Lovely mountain views from the bedroom

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location is perfect, national park is in 100 meter. Breakfast, dinner is also great
Cons: Staff was not always friendly
Pros: The food both for breakfast and dinner was very good . Room was also very good
Cons: Which every way you used it the shower sprayed water over the bathroom floor. A top class establishment and they can't get the basics right. The wine list ; for the single traveller who does not wish to have a full bottle there are only three half bottles on the list two red one rose .
Pros: We skipped breakfast after a bad experience at dinner. We went back into St. Lary for Crepes and loved it. Although the food was mediocre, the setting of the hotel is exceptional and beyond spectacular!! The hiking is filled with natural beauty and was truly awe-inspiring.
Cons: Our dinner was almost inedible, and the staff was unattentive and curt. It was far better to sit out on the beautiful deck and enjoy a beer while soaking in the changing lights on the mountains as the sun went down. Went into Bielsa for Tapas the second night and loved it. Worth staying at this beautiful hotel, but eating elsewhere.
Pros: Clean hotel with pleasant staff.
Pros: Gorgeous location at the very end of a valley of the Pyrénées. The rooms are at the same time simple, rustic, but very comfortable. It is feels very confortable considering the location. The view on the mountains is simply stunning. The restaurant and breakfast are typical of the Paradores standards.
Cons: I wished that having a real dinner on the deck would be possible in the summertime. It is either snacking outside or proper dinner inside. It feels unfair to have to make this choice with such a beautiful view.
Pros: Very well renovated Parador in a end-of-world location in the Pyrenees. Stunning views of an interesting countryside and nature. Lovely terrace, very good restaurant. Rooms have sufficient space though not very large. Very friendly and competent personnel, easy check-in and -out. Free parking on the premises.
Pros: The room was lovely with stunning views.
When you stay at Mesón de Salinas in Tella, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Pineta Valley. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Loved the room and sleeping with the sound of the river. We enjoyed chilling at the pool. The location is awesome for investigating multiple national parks and villages. Good beer and sangria, friendly staff at the restaurant!!
Cons: The pool should be accessible until later in the night, at least 10pm for when its hot and guests come back from a long hike. Wifi signal could be stronger in the rooms.
Pros: Right in the middle of the mountains views were amazing , rooms very nice and spacious, swimming pool and small park for kids, staff very nice a big thank you to the waiter who gave us some tabbaco as we had run out and couldn't get any nearby. Fantastic hotel will definitely return if we pass through again
Pros: Lovely greeting on arrival, a safe place to keep my bicycle overnight and a lovely ensuite room. The breakfast was very good and the location very convenient for exploring the surrounding, stunning, area.
Pros: We enjoyed the pool and area for the kids to run around and play. The cafe always served food and the staff were very helpful! The travel cot and beds were really comfy! It was a very relaxing few days there and we will go back!
Cons: The rooms were loud and the windows dangerous for children who could fall out if we didn’t keep them always closed which was annoying! The breakfast was a bit expensive for what they offered- next time I would get breakfast in the cafe instead.
Pros: The place was excellent. Great location, clean very friendly. Amazing staff very warm people. Great view
Pros: Secure parking for my motorbike the view from my window was outstanding free wifi private bathroom the room and bathroom was clean
Cons: Breakfast not included in the price tea coffee facility would have been an added Bonus

With a stay at Hotel Badain, you'll be centrally located in Tella, within a 15-minute drive of Pineta Valley and Dolmen de Tella. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Kindness of the workers
Pros: Although small, everything inside was fully renovated and new. The landlady was super nice, provided washing up services for no extra charge, gave us recommendations on hikes and restaurants, changed our room when asked for 2 beds instead of one, all with a smile! Thank you Carmen!
Cons: Rooms small, no nets on the windows and lots of flies coming in. Breakfast was simple.
Pros: The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and functional.
Cons: The staff could have been more available during the day. When we arrived we had to wait for 5-10 mins whilst someone was called to book us in. The Breakfast was adequate, toast, cheese, meats, eggs, one choice of cereal, fruit juice plus cake, but this was not consistent. We ate at the hotel on our first evening, but we found the food and atmosphere in the restaurant so basic that we decided to eat out there after. With regard to the rooms they were very clean, but some of the electric wall sockets were not secured to the wall and therefore making them very dangerous to use. There was an outside seating area for drinks but this was untidy with bushes and plants over grown and in need of pruning. As a group we have stayed at many Logis, unfortunately this particular hotel in our opinion was not up to the normal standard.
Cons: The hotel restaurant.

Located in Plan, Hostal Pallaruelo is a 1-minute drive from Gistaín Valley and 13 minutes from Pineta Valley. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The bed linen smelled clean and freshly laundered. The location offered superb views and tranquility.
Cons: Evening meal was 1 hour late being served. The entire place was tired and in desperate need of modernisation. The bar area was dingy with many of the light bulbs not working.
Pros: The only thing I could say is a good location
Cons: It was the worst stay I have ever had anywhere! First we arrived and they had sold our room to somebody else, they then after a 2hr wait put us up in a member of staffs bedroom. The bath room was ok but when I was in the shower that was held together by clothes pegs the celling started to leak water...a lot of water! Once we then got into bed in sheets we where not 100% sure that where clean there was a local party going on. LIVE MUSIC an till 6:30am with then more music afterwards!!! By this time we had had enough without a winks sleep we packed ours bags an left to find another place that would put us up for the rest of the week. Not recommended for anyone!
Pros: Staff was super friendly and supporting. Beautiful surroundings.
Cons: Only spanish speaking
Pros: Lovely hosts, slow pace, simple food done well, great views, very rural
Cons: Nothing we didn't like at that price!

Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's in a beautiful location.

Pros: Spacious room. Pleasant staff
Cons: Excellent base for touring the Pyrennes
