Pros: Sublime view
Cons: Nothing but praise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First and foremost, we loved every single part of our stay! The owners have done an absolutely great work in making the place feel like home (a dream home, that is!) and on top of that, Florian is a very nice and helpful man. We had a car which also made it easy for us to visit Biarritz too during our stay but even staying in the area itself was more than enough for us. The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the ocean and had close and easy access to the beach. You could even enjoy the amazing views from your bedroom. Sunset view from the jacuzzi area was the best. We were lucky to have such great sunny weather in February but again, even without it, I believe we would have had a great stay anyway. We also loved the orange juice served at breakfast! Thank you for the beautiful weekend!
Cons: -

Pros: We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Villa L’Arche. This was our first holiday with our 4 month old baby and the staff were so kind and accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights and had such a relaxing time, exploring the local village and beaches. The room was perfect, light and airy and very clean. The property as a whole is beautiful with a sea view from the pool and lots of green. We would definitely return!

7.1 Good
Pros: Nice hotel in the centre of Bidart. Clean, comfortable, nice balcony off the room and friendly staff
Cons: There was no information about prices. We thought breakfast was included so was shocked to find they charged €14 per person for a cup of tea or coffee, a small glass of orange juice and a selection of bread!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed over New Year's Eve and had a wonderful time! Friendly and helpful owner and staff, elegant yet warm atmosphere. We loved every minute! Quiet rooms · Helpful concierge · Romantic atmosphere · Great hotel bar · Historic building
Cons: There was nothing we did not like. We were wondering how the hotel would feel in Winter, as it is a beach location, but the heating and isolation worked fine, and we were warm and comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner was incredibly friendly. I had to call her because we got stuck in a traffic jam and therefore would arrive very late. She was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us the room. The room is just what you need and the shower is probably the best shower I’ve been in. The town is 100 meters from the hotel and is picturesque and calm.
Cons: The price of the hotel is quite steep but in the area you will always pay a lot for something decent.

Pros: I love the property is close to the sea and in central Bidarte town. Lots of lovely restaurant around. We had the room with terrace and balcony and it was so lovely to have evening sunshine in our terrace.
Cons: I thought it was but expensive , but also was the beginning of August meaning prices hike this time of the years. The breakfast €14 ? You’re better off to go nearby Boulanger is in the piazza and have your nice little breakfast there for €10 2 pax.

Pros: The rooms we had were wonderful with large balcony and great view. Rooms were cleans and modern. Car parking was included on site.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Pool area and garden was really nice. The decor everywhere was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting and staff were excellent. The gardens were beautifully maintained. Perfect secure parking and great service.
Cons: There was no air conditioning. However we were able to open the windows wide and there was a lovely breeze. There was no separate shower it was a handheld shower in the bath!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The building, it’s decor and surroundings all beautiful. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Comfortable bed and pillows and everywhere super clean.
Cons: It didn’t have air con which I had already read on another review and read the owners response which was understandable. The other benefits of the room and surroundings out weighed this sacrifice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, courteous, sympathic and discreet! A perfect experience.
7.3 Good
Pros: The whole experience was wonderful - from the look of the manor, to the staff, to the owner chauffering us in his Rolls to our dinner reservation. The staff is extremely attentive, without being intrusive. The room was luxurious, but comfortable. A very special place.
Cons: Price per person for breakfast seems high.
7.2 Good
Pros: Very nice romantic place but not for the long stay
Cons: It would be so nice if they made the territory much more!
7.6 Good
Pros: Super friendly staff. Beautiful and very stylish hotel.
7.6 Good
Pros: Gorgeous room, fab bath and shower, absolutely charming staff, stylish hotel.. Great touches like a huge bowl of gorgeous fresh fruit in reception, and breakfast was great - lovely table, prompt service and delicious.
Cons: But don't order dinner there - at least not on a Sunday night. Our dinner experience was not good. Firstly we waited ages and ages. The choice was limited but that was OK, except the food wasn't ok. It was strange bordering on bizarre and really not very nice. We ordered some cold starters (amongst which was a serving of 'green' asparagus which came limp, soggy and almost brown in colour - obviously tinned and frankly inedible) and one hot starter. All the cold starters were served together - there were 6 of us - but the one hot starter only came ages later with all the main courses. The mains were local dishes and really not very nice, weren't hot enough and certainly not up to standard. Shame as hotel otherwise is gorgeous.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: No bad points
6.8 Good

Hotel Du Palais Biarritz - Biarritz
8
9.0 Excellent (866 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A living memory of Biarritz history, theVilla Eugenie, now Hotel du Palais, was built in 1855 by Napoleon III for his wife Eugenie de Montijo, now among the most famous historical resort in France.
6.3 Good
Cons: Tatty old rooms with a strange odour, broken A/C, exorbitant price which filled us full of hope that we would receive extreme luxurious treatment only to be sorely disappointed. Ordered late room service and had to reject every item due to poor quality. After being told we could entertain guests anywhere in the hotel the pool attendant handed me a bill for €EUR450 for the visitors who came and sat with us for an hour by the pool even after us spending €EUR300 on drinks!!! Which I promptly refused to pay. After very little sleep I tried to complain and received a small discount on the bill, but 1 night still came to €1,800!! There is no way this hotel is deserved to charge that kind of money for the return in property standards and service. I will be taking this up further with the hotel an Hyatt group.
7.9 Good
Pros: Super location. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Everything relating to food and drink was very expensive. Lunch-time menu would have benefited from a few more simple options.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting
Cons: Very expensive . Breakfast is inside whereas the pictures lead you to believe it will be served outside
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast. Smoked salmon was highest class and croissants were very tasty. Superb view from our balcony
Cons: I was disappointed by very late swimming pool opening hours. I always like to have a swim before my breakfast and pool is open here just 0930! Latest time since I am traveling long years!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cocktail Bar atmosphere with singing. Restaurant food, décor and atmosphere. Room views over the bay. Gardens and pool area.
Cons: One waiter on the terrace in the afternoon/early evening when busy was not enough. She did an excellent job but needed help to give the expected levels of service (cleaning tables when people leave)...NOT a criticism of her at all.
6.2 Good
Pros: location and view from dining room
Cons: place is showing its age, and its cost for rooms and meals are far too high. breakfast for 1 person was 50 euro, about $60 USD. the ocean view room i reserved from kayak was $550, and the only view of the water was from a side window; you had to right up next to the window to even see the water or beach. when i complained, they said that since you can see the water from the window, it qualifies as ocean view. we got misled from the check in girl as to when our room would be ready, and got fast double talk as to what happened. there also appears to be some wiggle room between what we learned about the room from kayak and what the hotel provided. kind of a bait and switch. we won't be back.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had been spruced up after the G7 so that was good
Cons: The staff had an imperious attitude
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is perfect, the views are magnificent
Cons: The building is outdated, needs renovation badly, the inside pool was cold
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location is great
Cons: The service was really bad. The room is not very clean
7.9 Good
Pros: New room of the same category was excellent but the first one (I booked deluxe room with partial ocean view) was given to me has inner yard view with a bad smoking smell. However, new room was 365 Euro more expensive per night.
Cons: Some staff attitude at the check-in
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: It’s tired and needs to be refurbished. Too expensive for what’s in offer.

Cons: Noisy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is ideally situate. The decoration and the building is full of charm
Cons: The bathroom in both bedrooms were not really clean. There was lots of long black hair on the balcony which needed a good clean.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good area; very close to most things
Cons: staff didn't speak ANY english which made asking questions difficult
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful mansion style hotel in good condition, with great city center location, only two minutes from the local food market in the restaurant and shop packed ”Les Halles area” of Biarritz. Five more minutes walk and you’re at the Grande Plage. We took a swim and hung out at the beach every day, and the hotel felt close enough for us to quickly return to when we wanted to take a shower and change clothes afterwards. It’s not a seaside location, but it is close. The friendly staff here greets you with big smiles every morning. They are really nice and service minded! The room was very clean, and though it was a bit stripped down in terms of decoration it had everything you could want in terms of space, nice bathroom, comfy bed, big wardrobe and a good refrigerator (wich came in handy, since that food market tempted us to buy delicious cheese, butter, croissants and all sorts of fruit most every day). Last but not least, the Maison has a nice little secluded garden with beautiful flowers, trees and that ivy, wich gave the mansion it’s name (Lierre), clinging to the walls. The setting is complete with a little water fountain and generous seating for both catching a bit of sun or to sit down and have a bite to eat. I will definately return here. We really enjoyed it.
Cons: Close the windows at night or you will get mosquitoe bites for sure. No biggie though. The ceiling mounted fan will keep the room nice and cool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so lovely and gave great guidance, not just about the area, but about our next destination in Spain. Rooms were beautifully laid out and the whole hotel was just gorgeous. The atmosphere was great and felt open and airy, despite not being a very large building.
Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super super location, central and near the market/interesting shops and cafes but away from the noisy bit nearer the beach. Right by the bus stop to the airport or station. Small room/tiny bathroom but cleverly laid out with a lovely balcony and charming view of the garden and street below. Super friendly helpful staff. Bright breakfast room (on the ground floor with views), nice garden to sit in. Very chic. Definitely staying here again.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that the coffee at breakfast was from a machine (Nespresso or whatever) and not very good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great customer service, very clean and modern facilities in a beautiful old building. Breakfast is good. Location was really good for both sightseeing, beaches, markets, buses etc.
Cons: Air conditioning rather than the ceiling fan would be better for hot weather. 3.30 check-in was quite late if arriving to Biarritz early in the morning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and helpful checkin
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the centre of the old part of Biarritz, near a nice park and in walking distance to many restaurants and bars, the beach etc. The staff was very nice and friendly, very helpful and also spoke good English. The building is a beautiful old house which has been tastefully decorated and modernised and has a nice garden/patio. Our room (standard category) was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was functional and clean. You can book a parking space in a carpark nearby (just 1 minute down the street) for 14 EUR per day.
Cons: In the morning it was a bit noisy with banging and squeaking doors (maybe some oil would help for the latter) - but I guess that is the case in many hotels and earplugs do help. The rooms wasn't exactly big and had only one chair. For the rather high price (170 EUR) one would expect at least a second chair or an included breakfast - but maybe that's just what prices are like in Biarritz in the summer...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, not over the top in personality. Helpful in recommending restaurants & sights to see. Loved that it was a small boutique hotel and close to Les Halles and great bars.
Cons: A small fridge in the room would have been an advantage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts, wonderful garage for my bike, spotless room, great breakfast, british tea with fresh milk, beautiful town and unbeatable view!!
Cons: Church bells 3 times an hour
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Murielle and Philippe were great hosts and were able to provide information about walks, eating places, things to see. Philippe met us in the village square and led us to the house as it was dark when we arrived which was most appreciated. The view from the bedroom over the garden and countryside was just lovely.
Cons: We had an ensuite bathroom within our room but our private toilet was outside our bedroom which was OK but not ideal. Sadly the croissants for breakfast weren’t the best in France but the bread and jam / yoghurt and honey were great!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the foothills of the Pyrenees in a quiet part of a characterful village. Parking was immediately outside and the owners an appropriate mix of friendliness and providers of local advice while 'leaving one to get on with things'. Choice of restaurants within easy walking distance that were all open on the Sunday night we stayed. Very French breakfast.
Cons: Hadn't taken on board that we needed to advance pay a deposit (done very easily via Transferwise). Also the fact that the loo was outside the bedroom was a minor niggle.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location in town and good for exploring local area. Hosts, daughter and mother, very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable. Parking in public car park nearby.
Cons: All good.

Pros: Continental breakfast were enhanced with homemade jams, yoghurt and cakes. The location to the village and the b & b's views of the surrounding area.... Simple amazing. The Basque region is certainly a place to visit. There is something for every bodies taste in vacationing abroad. Ooooo, just to mention the food of the area....wow! Cake, cherry jam, cheese, bread, wine, cider, to name a few...( expandable clothes necessary).

9.6 Excellent
Pros: For us a good size, comfortable bed is essential and in our ‘superior room’ it was great to have found a hotel that met our needs and expectations - would that other establishments offered king size beds 180 cm wide! Good quality bed linen and towels. Room was a good size, too, with plenty of storage. Excellent shower with lashings of hot water. Breakfast was a good standard with plenty of choice.
Cons: Minor things: could have done with two or three colourful pictures; number of toiletries a bit limited for a two night stay - I suppose we could have asked for more.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: If you don't like packed-up touristy places just 10 km from towns and beaches, simple and clean traditional hotel in the middle of authentic Basque village. Nice shady ànd sunny terrace, super friendly staff, good price-quality.
Cons: Front plaza rooms might be a little bit noisy (but still ok).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent family room- 2 very big connected rooms, lots of storage. Nice location on square in Ascain.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Owners are great. Friendly and helpful. Gave us a lift to save us paying for a taxi. Lovely village

9.2 Excellent
Pros: we had a brilliant night in Ascain, the staff were great so friendly and very helpful the hotel is well placed next to a basque hand ball court, we we're entertained all evening definitely go again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super hotel in the heart of a very interesting town. If you use car park 2 you will be parked immediately behind the hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff and a wonderful breakfast. Lots going on in the main square throughout the afternoon and evening and a great selection of restaurants and bars. It was cloudy whilst we were there so we decided against taking taking the little train up La Rhune - still, there's a good reason to return.

6.3 Good
Pros: Clean facility. The little yard in front is ok.
Cons: Not a central location. No fridge in the room. No remote control from the air conditioning system could be found :) The room is small, the walls are thin - all noises can be perfectly heard. Super expensive for the off-season

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast!! Beautiful village close to the cost and the mountains
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Overpriced in every aspect! and not worth it!
7.5 Good
Pros: The place and the charming decoration of the hotel. The family is very nice. They adjust their timetable to give us dinner service.
Cons: That they didn’t mention that breakfast wasn’t included in the price of the room at any time. They offer you to have breakfast but prices are erase from the menu. We asked a waiter and she said it was included in the price. I can’t understand she didn’t know the deal accepted in each room price, moreover with the some many online booking options, but prices should be at least marked on the menu or somewhere else while you are there. We paid 12€ per adult and 7€ per child.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel with a nice view in the central square of Sare. Clean, comfortable and classic room with clean bathroom. The owner was helpful and polite. Served our coffee in the room. The restaurant of the hotel is a must do with delicious French cuisine and elegant environment. Highly recommend for your stay and to visit pays basque.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming. The owners run the hotel, and they were fabulous. The hotel has character that was unforgettable. Sara is a quaint little place to stop and relax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: just a beautiful village with lots to see.....amazing restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming and superbly run hotel. Perfect location and elegant room. Breakfast on the terrace was perfect. No more to say except that it’s been a while since I stayed in such an excellent hotel - but at a fraction of the price of the Four Seasons, LA! A 5-star rating.
Cons: See above.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and relaxing, nice choice for a romantic weekend. The staff were friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, smack in the middle of town. Even though there was a five-day festival in progress, with music, drinking, and dancing into the night, our room faced the quiet garden out back and so we heard only a murmur as the festivities continued after we'd retired. The lobby was comfortable, the dinner excellent, and the breakfast ample. We especially appreciated (since our French is somewhat limited) the courteous attentions of the staff. I should also note that, when we made the reservation, the manager was thoughtful enough to notify us in advance of the street party that would last into the night. (We considered it an honor to be present.)

7.9 Good
Pros: The place is cute and owners are nice. Parking was practical. The pool and the garden looked really nice but the weather conditions didn't permit me to enjoy it.
Cons: I stayed several days and was given a room on the ground floor that was very small and had a strong smell of dampness. The window was actually opened when I checked in. I believe it had not been used of a while. Despite the cold weather, I had to open the window to breath fresh air every time I was back in the room. The price was too high for that particular room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hosts, great breakfasts with all local produce, lovely furnishings and everything immaculately cared for.Nothing was too much trouble and led to a brilliant four night stay for us.
Cons: The weather!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely & room comfortable
Cons: Tea & coffee in room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our privilege room had a terrace and a view of the swimming pool. There were plenty of sun beds. The bed was comfortable and the fittings all worked. Breakfast was continental and featured homemade jams.
Cons: There were no restaurants open in the village on a Tuesday in September.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The garden room was lovely, with a terrasse overlooking the swimming pool. Breakfasts were excellent, with homemade jam, fruit and a good jambon de pays.
6.7 Good
Pros: Quiet. Private
Cons: Breakfast fairly basic but expensive. Staff friendly but maybe could be a little more attentive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location fine, breakfast excellent. The rooms were excellent and the proprietors were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: All the facilities were excellent.
6.3 Good
Pros: There is a very convenient parking, and a heated pool which is supposedly great.
Cons: The room we had was TINY for the price we paid, we almost couldn’t fit in the bed so don’t think of booking their standard room if you’re 1.80m or more. The other rooms are more spacious for like 20€ more per night, and those rooms are probably worth their price, but the one we had was way too overpriced. We were supposed to have a garden view, I’ll let you decide by yourself trough the picture if this is what you call a garden. We were pissed about the price charged so we looked at the reviews to see if it was just us. It wasn’t. When we checked the answers from the owner, he seemed to complain that people didn’t tell him directly was had gone wrong, so we decided to talk to him face to face politely : it didn’t change a thing, judge by yourself in his comments to see if he seems open to suggestions. He said all the rooms in the region were priced like this, we told him it wasn’t the price that was the problem but the size of the room offered for it. We toured the region and spent like 6 days in 6 different hotels, so I think we had a pretty good knowledge of what the prices are in the region, at this period of the year. I dont comment to ruin the reviews of the hotel, most of our comments are positive/great. This experience wasn’t. If it had cost like 70-80€/night, I would have given a 8,5/10 so this review is not to say the « hotel » is bad, just that their standard room is not worth the price you’re charged for it (tiny bathroom, tiny room, tiny bed, view on the parking, for 109€/night).
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff and garden where nice
Cons: Value for money. Cost should include breakfast. To add €22 for two limited breakfasts is a bit much. You would like ham or cheese, add €3 for each per person. Too much

Pros: Great location, high standards of hygiene and very friendly staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very good location. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: More plugs (around the bed) to charge devices by night.
4.6 Okay
Cons: The room has about 9 sqm ² , Room 303 with sea View , Price 280 € /night. The room is a little larger than the bed. The architect was so clever to do a glass shower in the middle of the room to make it look larger. Also washing place without privacy, who the f.. has designed that ? I have jugded about 100 hotels in the last years via booking ( mostly 5 stars) , but this place has by far the biggest price gap between standards and prices . You just feel cheated when staying there . So no recommendation at all .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is really nice! Close to everything in Biarritz, it takes you 2 minutes to get to the beach and up to 10 minutes to go for good cafes and restaurants! The staff is nice and helpful! And breakfasts were very good as well! Highly recommended :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice.
Cons: The hotel must be renovated.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Highly recommended. Very helpful and friendly services. Optimal location near to beach and city centre. Brilliant and delicious breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: The view! Bed comfy
Cons: The air conditioning didn’t work and it was the midst of summer. They could have mentioned this when booking as they contacted me about something else. At night it was too noisy to keep the windows open so it was a very uncomfortable night. I was promised a proper discount and all the managed to take off was 10%! Over 300 euros for a room with no airco in the midst of summer is really not on!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, next to the beach. Very good breakfast
Cons: No parking Small room

Cons: Bathroom amenities had to be requested. No mini bar in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast with local products Perfect location, just at the entrance of the city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small cozy hotel right in the middle of the old city. We did not eat there, but the hotel restaurant looked excellent.
Cons: Very small rooms, but that is what we expected for something in the old city.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location and good parking facilities.
Cons: Breakfast is not included, there is no safe in the room, plastic glasses in bathroom and the shower screen is not big enough, when you shower the floor gets wet.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and very spacious, considering it was a single, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It had simple but tasteful decorations and looked out onto a nice yard surrounded by picturesque houses. Although it got a bit noisy in the afternoon, when customers had drinks in the yard, the noise died down later in the evening, so sleeping was not an issue.
Cons: The ventilation system in the bathroom didn't seem very efficient. As my room was just above the breakfast area, it got a bit noisy quite early in the morning. On the whole though, the hotel is highly recommended.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location was excellent on a square in the centre of this pretty town. The hotel was very small but attached to a bar/restaurant where the atmosphere was good. The young staff were very friendly and helpful. Good beaches were 5 minutes walk away.
Cons: Although there is a car park adjacent to the hotel, when we arrived it was full, as were other car parks nearby. We had to put the car in a side street a good ten minutes (uphill) walk from the hotel. The bar was not accessible from the hotel rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location. Beautiful vistas from room. Balcony was perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is great and during the off season its really easy to find free parking. The staff is great and the rooms with the patios offer amazing views. Td offers he restaurant down stairs is great and offers outdoor seating in the square. The rooms were large and accommodating for us, a baby, stroller and surfboards. It was very cozy and we didn't feel cramped even with all our things.
Cons: We were on the first floor overlooking the square and it was a bit loud at night until the bar below closed. We had a baby who sleeps fine through noise but it could be problematic for families with kids or light sleepers. Also one of the window coverings was missing so we couldn't make the room very dark at night (there was a bright light right outside the window). When I tried explaining it the woman didn't speak english or spanish so i couldn't explain the issue. I imagine they will replace this but it was a bit bothersome. On our confirmation it listed checkout as 7:30am-12:30pm as there isn't someone at the desk full time. When we were checking out they told us that checkout was actually at 11:30. The didn't make us pay extra but it was a bit rushed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view from balcony-super comfortable bed-very friendly &helpful staff
6.3 Good
Pros: No reception you have to call and wait for somebody to come, your booking is processed and they leave, no more contact. We had no bath plug, and because nobody was on site we had no means to solve the problem, the next morning we just left, reception area empty. The room was clean, and comfortable, location good. The meals were taken next door at a cafe / restaurant, the food was good, staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent. Room and continental breakfast and taxes 114 Euros.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom, shower had dirty water for the first 2 minutes
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Be aware the nearest car park is public - charging €6 for 4 hours stay.

Pros: If you're wanting to enjoy the food and drink of the city this is ideally placed right opposite the food market. Pretty spot with nice design and good parking. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Pricey, even for a standard room, and no menu for drinks which proved to be extortionate! Still, Biarritz is an elegant coastal resort so I guess you get what you pay for.
