Chambres d'hôtes La Gargaille is set in the Petite Montagne du Jura region, just 10 km from Lons-le-Saunier. It offers wooden chalets with a private terrace, surrounded by 100-year-old trees. The chalets also include a living room with an LCD TV and an en suite bathroom with a separate toilet. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the entire property. You can enjoy the traditional-style breakfast in the main house, which is 50 metres away. The hosts can also prepare evening meals made from local products if you reserve in advance. A playground and free private parking are also provided at this property. Clairvaux Lake is 18 km away and and Oyonnax is 50 km away.
Pros: The cabins are cozy and quiet. We enjoyed a picnic dinner on our front porch. We loved staying by these immense trees and the kids had a big playground area to practice their soccer moves. The breakfast in the main house included fabulous fresh bread, local cheese, croissants, jams, and more!
Cons: It was a little snug with teenage boys but we all loved it.
Pros: The chalet was very clean and cleaned and tidied every day. Breakfast was good and with lovely homemade jam's. The chalet was warm and had everything we needed even flannels, towels and toiletries. The host couple were very welcoming and helpful. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend staying here.
Cons: Nothing bad to say about our stay or the property.
Pros: We loved the wooden cottage. The owners were very friendly. And the breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: For tall people like us, the bed should be bigger.
Pros: Fantastic lodges, great hosts that gave us a very warm welcome. Home made jams at breakfast were a delight
Pros: Lovely kind people who look after you very well, breakfast is great and loved the homemade jams.
Cons: Great spot sat in the sun amongst the trees.
Pros: Friendly and kind staff. Comfortable, stylish, peaceful surroundings. Breakfast delicious. Location excellent
Pros: Fabulous breakfast. However, for those who think breakfast should include cooked beans, mushrooms and tomatoes, this is a continental breakfast: (Great) local cheeses, 7 types of homemade jam (we loved the pear and cherry), coffee, bread croissants and yoghurt. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. They fall over backwards to serve. By all means have at least one dinner on-site!!! The chalets are homey and (we were there in winter) warm and were built by hand by the owners from trees logged nearby. The location is wonderful if you want a base from which you can explore the Jura. But, if you want to be close to services and restaurants, this may not be for you. And, note well... This is a Chambre d'hôte, not a hotel. So, do not expect hotel services.
Cons: A duvet would have been a nice touch. But, was not required for warmth, just coziness.
Pros: The hosts are a wonderful and helpful couple. The chalets are really comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing with lots and lots of local products. We will definitely come back!
Cons: Everything was fantastic. Really nothing to complain about.
Pros: Everything was excellent and the breakfast was superb
Cons: Nothing to improve

Les chalets de Jade is 74 km from Les Rousses Ski Resort and 100 km from Bourg-en-Bresse.
Pros: Lovely quiet location, very friendly host, super breakfast great value for money.
Pros: The chalet had been beautifully designed to cater for three pairs of visitors. The village is fairly remote but is in peaceful surroundings. The host was extremely friendly and keen to chat. The breakfasts were from local and home made proucts. There is a well equipped kitchen for those who wish to prepare their own meals. The only issues of minor concern would be sound proofing, but this seems to be the problem with chalets in general.
Cons: no wifi
Pros: Breakfast was exceptional. Beautiful, quiet location. Quirky pets were amusing. Shared kitchen facilities was useful. Owners speak little English but it’s not an issue as they are friendly and engaging
Pros: Owners of the place are great, the home built from wood is really nice. The quietest place ever. I will come back. Breakfast is home made and better than an hotel.

Pros: Newly renovated with all mod-con. Great staff, fantastic local cheese and cold cuts at breakfast. Onsite restaurant a bit pricey but very good quality.
Cons: Room a bit on the small size.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean and had a lot of space. We didn't have a go at the restaurant but the breakfast had a lot of choice and a lot of what was available came from local producers. If you need a restaurant, there's a delicious pizzeria just around the corner, which I recommend. Hotel has a free parking nearby, very helpful too.
Pros: We were made very welcome The room was spacious. Shutters to keep out the summer light and sound. Great shower and comfortable bed.
Pros: Nice restaurant with good food, a nice room, great beds, breakfast was ok
Pros: Excellent hotel with a lovely terrace and restaurant. The location was ideal and with secure parking.
Pros: The staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. Shower worked well. Breakfast was good.
Cons: There was only one chair in the room. The air conditioning was rather loud. The coffee was not good. Illy coffee that was once available at this establishment would be better.

Pros: Nice village and quiet hotel
Cons: The bed was not confortable, the double bed was in the middle lower then outside. The menu needs some inspiration and caring
Pros: Really good value for money. Owners are very friendly. Very clean.
Cons: It's more a deception than a dislike, but I was hoping for a more better breakfast with local specialities like cheese, but it was just some bred, butter and a small coffee
Pros: The road to the hotel was nice, little village, lacs, forest...
Cons: Booked the room on Booking.com, priced 60€. Hotel regular price is 69€ full board. End up paying 100€ for room and a salad
Pros: The welcome especially as a cyclist. The patron is a keen motorcyclist and understand s the needs of those en route
Cons: Really nothing
