The place seems very new/clean. Breakfast had a good variety. Owners were nice. Passed by the location three times, and was almost next to it when I finally got out and asked someone where it was. It's just off the "main" avenue through town (so no need to stray far), but the sign doesn't jump out at you.
Convenient location, with parking places. Very friendly staff. Bed springs squeaky. Would have liked an armchair to sit in
Cleanliness welcome modern and nice rooms
the restaurant was excellent,
a new, very clean en very nicely decorated hotel! Very friendly staff no
Room I stayed in had been renovated with modern facilities but still retained older feel. Food at restaurant was of a high standard.
All the nice atmosphere, New, clean and modern rooms, Delicious breakfast
It's nicely located in a small friendly village, beautiful countryside. I liked the cosy bedroom and breakfast was very good. I especially like it that the price of the room includes breakfast, it's more motivating to book a room when it includes rather than when it excludes services/breakfast, etc... I would suggest having dinner somewhere in the adjacent villages, although very friendly service the quality of the food didn't respond to the price. And there are plenty of other places in the region that do offer that.
Excellent loicartion, friendly staff, nice walks in immediate neighbourhood, brand new, ... The room was indeed not very warm
Nice and friendly staf (but only if you speak french). Nice design, cosy feeling. Well worth a visit. Parle vous Francais? The breakfeast is not up to the rest of the hotel - is rather simplistic.
good restaurant, friendly staff No
Nice looking old style charm. Large dining areas and cosy bar. Gastonomic dinner was excellent. Hotel felt cold in areas. No shower curtain in slippery bath. Had to open toilet resevoir to fix it.Mimimal lighting in room. Minimal Staff (2). Was way too expensive @ 127 Euros even with a balcony with wooden floor that was green with algae, so also slippery. Matress also needed re-newing. There are much better hotels for around 80 Euros, especially the PIP Magraff in St. Vith. ( Best this Year.! )
The hotel owner and the food were both superb
the food is really first class, and the welcome excellent n/a
wonderful restaurant, very good food - tres grande cuisine... Accueil tres attentif
Food good quality, if a little expensive. Owners very friendly and helpful and the garden area good for the children, although the swing / climbing frame may not survive much longer. Somewhat dated fixtures & fittings. No shower curtain.
Peferct location for our purposes. Not so far from centre of the village. Very good restaurant. Nice breakfast. Pleasant staff. The room furniture was correct but looks a little bit poor for a 3 stars hotel. Parquet flooring too much noisy. Room not quite soundproof.
Booked 2 X 3-bed rooms - on arrival only one available. Hade to have single, double and triple for 4 adults and 2 small children.
The comfort and helpfullness of staff.
Dinner was very poor for the price. Vegetables were not cooked properly and not preserved in the right way. For example ice cold tomatoes in a salad. Early breakfast was not possible. No solutions were given for the breakfast problem, though the manager wanted to arrange the pay part immediatly: not customer friendly. Result: we still didn't had breakfast at sunday 7:30. Thereby, when we wanted to leave at 7:30 (which we told the manager the evening before), no staff was available and all the doors were locked. We had to leave the hotel through the windows.
nothing After a 500 mile trip, an all night party
The proprietor, aware that we had not stayed at a fortunate time, provided us with transbaggage service to our next destination at no extra charge. We were disappointed to find the restaurant closed. The hotel's website advertises a gourmet restaurant, making no mention of days on which it will be closed and accepted our booking without informing us that the restaurant would be closed for our visit. It is at some distance from the center of Paliseul and we were on foot. Facilities expected of a hotel such as a reception desk and staff are lacking. Access to our room required us to enter the restaurant building through its kitchens, having first secured a key from the proprietor's home across the street. Next to the entry door was a large, stinking garbage bin awaiting collection. At breakfast we were initially served curdled milk for our coffee.
Evening meal. The location, it was a bit remote from the village.
Excellent rural location. Very good food. A warm welcome. Nothing
