4.6 Okay
Pros: The property gives you an opportunity to have an authentic French experience in a small non urban setting. The hotel was clean.
Cons: The location was far from the city but the bus ride going into the city was frequent. There is no internet. The fan was inadequate to cool the room and the furnishings old. I came a few hours early and was told that in order to allow for an early check in they would state to booking.com that I was a no show and they then proceeded to collect the money from card. I was confused! I am grateful that I was allowed to check in early but to date I don’t understand why I was considered a no show. Anyway I am writing a review because I don’t think this hotel offers much for the traveller.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are simple and clean. Staff is kind and helpful. There is parking.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room size was big.
Cons: Hand held shower was frustrating. Room was too hot and fan inadequate. No kettle. Had to ask for one. Metal frame of bed unsafe and got hurt.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Efficient
Cons: Could not pay cash after using cc for deposit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value a stone’s throw from the airport. Ideal for a very late arrival and car hire pickup the following morning. Lovely hard mattress.
Cons: There was a sign for the hotel at Terminal 2 arrivals which was confusing. I ended up taking the navette/free connections bus to Terminal 1 and finding the hotel bus there, as advised by the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Convenient, pleasant staff, and well orientated for travelers
Cons: Nothing not to like. Budget but clean and tidy
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet place and bedrooms 10-15min walk away from the airport. Pasta boxes, sandwiches and salads available from vending machines. Good breakfast.
Cons: Amenities are basic but comfy enough. Wifi is limited, for instance doesn't allow WhatsApp calls, which is a bit of a pity. Happy overall.

Pros: Good cheap option if you're needing to fly early or flying in late

5.0 Okay
Pros: the location cannot be beat.
Cons: the wifi is terrible, unless perhaps if you pay a higher rate for premium service. but this is supposed to be a 4star hotel and the room rate is not cheap. i expect better than that.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms were large and very clean. We had been travelling a long time and needed a good rest which we got
Cons: We only stayed 1 of the 2 nights as our urgent flight out of the country to the uk due to Corona virus was changed. We checked out at 5am on the 18th. The receptionist said she would speak to her manager to get us a refund for the second day as it was exceptional circumstances. We have heard nothing.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Absolutely appalling service in the bar / restaurant. Food was horrible: old bread and spaghettini with curry sauce and stir fired vegetables and half cooked and then burnt chicken. Same night the hotel was hosting a very noisy music festival - for a hotel which is across the airport to keep people awake all night before early flights is unacceptable.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location Comfortable beds Architecture
Cons: Light bulb outside bathroom kept flashing. No USB jack in room to charge Iphone. Tea bags only had one per variety. No milk for tea. We paid for a buffet breakfast but were given a pack of croissants, pastries, yogurt and fruit. The croissants were inedible as were the pastries. Some butter and jam would have helped. Will any refund for breakfast be available?
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel did everything to make our unplanned stay comfortable and the staff were excellent.
Cons: A little pricey but was in superb location for the airport.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: 5 min walk to the terminal for a very early flight. No wash cloth
Cons: No wash cloth.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: included mini bar, dinner at the restaurant was good, room was very nice
Cons: light at desk did not work
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient for airport Friendly and helpful staff Pleasant decor and ambiance Good quality furniture
Cons: Shower fitting did not keep the shower in position properly (shower head kept tilting downwards and fitting could not be tightened) Toilet was not completely clean
7.9 Good
Pros: I checked my 18 yr daughter travelling back home alone from college, into the hotel on Tuesday 17 March for a flight the next day.. only for the flight to be cancelled within 30 minutes of checking in. She then had to search and book a new flight and managed to fly back to Ireland via Paris on Air France! Glad to get her home but no time to enjoy even the briefest of stays.location great the score in fairness not reflecting of the Hotel.
Cons: Not tested.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge during limited hours, and free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super helpful, on the phone and friendly at the hotel. They gave me good tip: to take the busd 47 for 2.20 euros instead of the navette for 7 euros.
Cons: There was one dirty q-tip on one of the stairs outside between the second and the third floor. Getting off bus 47 at night there could have been a street sign indicating the direction of the hotel, because it is behind a huge industrial post office and it was a bit difficult to find without any street sign.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Its a good location to stop en route to the slopes
Cons: The door to the room didn't close properly even though it was locked....could hear traffic and plane noise through the door. Didn't feel safe and left a chair behind the door.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Airport shuttle was convenient but only every hour.
Cons: Located in a remote and spooky industrial area, the hotel will offer poor quality service. Unfortunately my room door would not close without forcing and shaking half of the building. Electricity in the bathroom was blinking. Wifi connection poor... The neighbourhood was noisy (planes passing-by, factories and trucks next door...).
6.3 Good
Pros: Rooms are clean
Cons: Checking in with automated system
7.1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Very basic

6.0 Good
Pros: Whilst hotel is tired and in need of decoration and upgrading if us exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Very close to the airport but it is quiet plenty of parking. It has a bar
Cons: Breakfast wasn't great especially for the money. Items were not all in one place or easy to find it became a but of a game of hide and seek to find things such as cutlery, napkins tests. Some was on one side of the to othe which was lined up on the bar. No staff to help in dining room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to the airport, reachable by foot and also with a regular shuttle service in the main hours.
Cons: The walls are sensitive

Pros: It’s 2 mins away from the airport by car. Perfect over overnight stay. The Receptionist was very nice and welcoming. The room was very clean. The bed was warm & comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. Breakfast was good.
6.7 Good
Pros: The proximity to the airport was an advantage. Regular shuttles to and from the airport. Reasonable internet. AC in the room was a plus
Cons: Room had cigarette smell. Hair in the towel. Could have been cleaner.
7.9 Good
Pros: Value for money.
Cons: We chose it because your description said there is a bar and restaurant. However we had to drive somewhere else to eat and drink because their restaurant and bar is only open weekdays. No mention of this in your description, so false advertising!
7.0 Good
Pros: Absolutely convenient to Lyon St Exupery Airport and train station. Can walk to terminals and the TGV. Free airport shuttle bus with frequent trips. Great hotel for extended layovers.
Cons: Small rooms. Halls and elevator reek of cigarette smoke. This is a big problem. The hotel must address this with cctv or patrolling. Room also has the smell of old cigarettes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I arrived late to the hotel (10pm) and the staff was very helpful when I told them I had to drop off my rental car at the airport. They sent their shuttle over to the airport and picked me up which really made things simple for me. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs.
Cons: The hotel was nice overall and I have no complaints - like most hotels in Europe the rooms seem small in comparison to what I can expect in the US. Overall great stay for price and location!

Pros: The food (dinner) and staff were lovely, they even let me take fruit for breakfast because I had to leave at 5am the following day. Particularly appreciated the snacks with the aperitif and was impressed how many languages the waitresses could talk.
Cons: Finding pubic hair in the bath and also realising it couldn't hold water I had just run so I had to put my foot on the plug for water not to escape. Also a very small bath so not relaxing. A bit far from the bus stop for me to walk to with my suitcases.

Specific requests to have both rooms nearby, one with a double and another twin, and a children cot in one of them - were all executed perfectly. Check-in and out were a breeze. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay if you are on a business trip and if you want to be out of the city noise. Perfect communication with the city. No traffic jams! Just 20 min to Lyon.
5.0 Okay
Pros: when booking the hotel didn't reply back and told that the hotel could not deliver dinner in the evening. So we couldn't cancel without having to pay full for the stay
Cons: the hotel is in no way recommended. The hotel should be quite honest from the start. but the hotel is NOT.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Simple room as advertised and in accordance with the price. I slept one night after not finding any other alternatives as all hotels in Lyon were full due to women's world cup. Also positive was the attention of contacting me to give instructions in how to get the key of my room as I would be arriving after reception was closed.
Cons: I wasn't expecting a shared toilet (maybe my bad). However, what was definitely terrible was the room temperature. It was steaming hot. Although it had a cooler, it didn't work (I had to work out to drain the water as it was totally full), but also didn't have a vent to the outside, so the hot exhaust remained in the room. Something that clearly could be improved.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Only one decent thing in this place was WiFi.
Cons: Hygiene below any standard. Leaking from ceiling. Breakfast so Old that is not acceptable to eat. Moisture funges on walls and on Windows frame. I could not recommend it even for enemy.
4.2 Okay
Pros: No food available but there were millipedes travelling through the bedroom in the early hours of the morning which didn't lend for an easy sleep. Was not too sure about the cleanliness of the bed either.
Cons: Sorry as above.

Pros: The team. Very nice. The bar very good service.

Pros: The breakfast was very good.
7.9 Good
Pros: Booked at very short notice for an unexpected extremely night arrival time (after midnight). Courteous and friendly staff, reception open all night, clean with good shower, conveniently located with secure parking so didn’t have to unpack the whole car.
Cons: Only downsides were hard beds and strong scent of atomisers/air freshener EVERYWHERE. Got the impression they are trying to mask odours of past smoking in room/corridors.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast is very poor, only one ham to chose from, hardly anything in bufet and I'm not fussy it's hardly anything there. Save yourself money and go for bfast 5 min away to the restaurant same price way better food and short walk. Coffee in hotel is dreadful. No fridge in the room No minibar Vending machine has some crazy prices
Cons: Clean room, comfy bed, extra soft pillow. Amazing Pizza in the restaurant and I mean it's epic.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and polite staff. The rooms where clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine although the last hour not al the food was supplemented. That could be better. But overall we had a very comfortable stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were exceptional. Picked me up very late at the airport, graciously welcomed me and provided a gluten-free breakfast before taking me back to the airport in the morning. I can't say enough about them! Would love to come back. Very unique property.
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful friendly reception. Well equipped. Early breakfast. Good cold supper Convenient for airport.
Cons: Hadn’t appreciated lowness of beams in attic bedroom. Height of short corridor leading to it ( well less than head height; crouching necessary) narrowness / steepness of spiral staircase . Bathroom located floor below. Probably my fault for insufficient attention to details of the property before booking . But posing significant difficulty for someone with an arthritic hip / balance issues. Quirky and interesting for the younger able-bodied......but I survived!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property. Pleasant, accommodating hostess. Delicious breakfast, coffee, juice etc. Comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again. A+++
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people Very welcoming and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hosts ever ! On my way home from Aime La Plagne I got on a wrong train and was so scared. I sent a message to my hosts asking for help. They were incredible. Told me where to get a tram , where to get off, reassured me and told me not to worry. So I did what they said and it was easy. The local knowledge was invaluable. The property itself was stunning, even better than the pictures. The fresh homemade dinner, vegetarian at my request was delicious. The best lasagne I've tasted. Missing home and my dog, it was lovely to relax there sitting with adorable, calm little Enzo the Westie and intelligent conversation from the hosts. Only 5 minutes from the airport it is outrageously good value for money.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to Lyon Airport but in a quiet village away from the flight paths. The hotel looks and feels like a French Chateau. Continental breakfast is included.
Cons: There's nowhere in the village for dinner on a Monday night and we were without a car until our friends met us the next morning.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful period property and yet all mod cons too. Wonderful sitting/diningroom - a memorable place for a delightful and delicious breakfast. If back in the area, it will be top of our list!
Cons: At first seemed a wee bit difficult to get in (door codes etc) but it wasn't really a problem
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice decor, friendly staff
Cons: Long drive across town to reach this place unless you pay for multiple toll roads. We were the only people staying in an empty house (end of Sep/early Oct) yet were made to sleep in the attic room up some really steep stairs, which was very stuffy unless air con left on all night. When I asked for a ground floor room (as we had large bags to pack for our flight out next morning and the room we had booked did not specify 2nd floor location), we were offered the ground floor room only if we paid 22€ more, but at 89€ it was already one of our most expensive stays and the breakfast was the least generous of our 14 days in France. No crispy baguette or croissants, just homemade bread from a breadmaker like we have at home and some tiny triangles of tired looking cheese. Fresh fruit and juice good but yoghurt with apple puree very sweet (like baby food) and homemade biscuits soft from being left out too long. Nothing open in village when we arrived after a long drive at 7:30 pm (Monday!) so had to eat one of the “gourmet” meals offered by the B&B for reheating, but the 13€ carrot soup was bland and tasteless and there was no salt and pepper anywhere in the dining room to add to it. Didn’t want to have to go back to the owner’s house next door to ask for some s & p after already needing her help to reheat the meal, so had to eat it as it was. Probably very healthy and looked great, but tasted like baby food! A disappointing end to 14 days of otherwise excellent B&Bs. Host very friendly but inflexible about room allocation. Failure to disclose true location of room was the worst aspect and the reason for the low value-for-money score. Garden looked good. Might be a nice place for travellers with children, but can only comment on our experience and in comparison to what we experienced elsewhere. Host should be more honest about what room is offered at what price!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Within reasonable distance from airport for both arrival and departure. Quiet location with character and helpful people. Would choose again when flying in/out of Lyon.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, super comfy beds, very clean, and a-mazing homemade breakfast. Will definitely stay again!
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: good welcome from fellow Dutchie. Nice bed and clean room. Only the water in the shower should be a bit more warm. Rest is fine!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All ok, nice services to access on the house, room clean and tidy. The owners very kind and breakfast very nice.
Cons: Nothing to say
