10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were meet very warmly. The location of the place is ideal for visitors of neighboring tourist attractions such as Etretat, Honfleur etc. Excellent breakfast with home made jam (delicious) and local produce. Rooms were spacious, clean, nice and well equipped as well. The most quiet place through our entire Normandy trip. We have more than enjoyed our stay here.

Pros: A lovely place to sleep on the way to Etretat. Very comfortable, very nice owner that helped with everything we asked for. Clean, large and comfortable room. Great yard. Breakfast served when we asked for it, and the food was very fresh, local and very tasty. Overall a great place to stop at.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is very cosy homestead, typical to Normandy. The interior is nicely furnished, spacious inside, very clean and comfortable. The Host Marie deserves all possible compliments for her hospitality and French elegance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved Marie's place very very much. We had a nice drive to the french countryside and it was pretty easy to find her place with the signage outside her house. We were greeted warmly by Marie upon arrival and she promptly showed us our room and also took time to explain to us the various amenities in the room. The room was extremely clean and neat, and was very well furnished. Marie offered much needed advice on the places to go around, and was very accommodating to whatever requests we had. The place was quiet and peaceful, and she has 2 horses who were really friendly. For breakfast, Marie prepared an amazing spread of french bread, jams, butter, fruits. It was one of the best that we had! My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much, only hoping that we had more time in the french countryside. We hope to visit Marie again very soon!
Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect!

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was great. The host was very nice and it was in a quiet area, which was exactly what we wanted. There are three rooms in a separate building that also has a kitchen in the common area, so if you want to cut expenses and cook yourself that’s possible. Everything (common room and the room itself) is very clean and comfortable. The isolation is good so you don’t really hear the other guests. Since it’s so quiet around, and the windows have blinds (automatic metal type you can close with a button) that make the room nice and dark, we slept like babies. The breakfast is really nice as well. Each morning we had some pastries, pancakes and French bread as well as homemade jam (which we absolutely loved and consumed in large amounts) plus the usuals (yoghurts, fruits, cheese, coffee, etc). Around the place there is plenty to do. The host asked us what we liked to do and gave us plenty of suggestions, which we followed. We had a great time. Absolutely recommended, would definitely come back.
Cons: There’s nothing that we didn’t like. It was a perfect weekend getaway. One suggestion - though I know French people feel different about it - is some nice French cheeses or deli meats for breakfast for the people that have less of an appetite for sweet stuff in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent host, very friendly, really wants you to have a nice stay. Great breakfast. We really loved the place and would recommend it to everyone! Rooms are nice and clean, very lovely garden with animals. If we go back on a holiday in Normandy we would book here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Breakfast and host.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is a large garden area, with appropriate furniture for guest use. The dining room/kitchen area is spacious with comfortable seating. The breakfast provided was a typical selection of fresh bread, fruit, cheese, yoghurt and coffee.
Cons: The village is almost entirely residential. If you want an evening meal you must provide your own or travel to Fecamp.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, very nice location for a relaxing weekend or holiday. I fully recommend this place!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Grange is the perfect place for who wants to relax and discover the Haute-Normandie. The owner is a very nice person, who helped us making our stay the most comfortable possible, suggesting places and cities to visit and restaurants. Our stay at La Grande was wonderful, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was rich and full of traditional food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great authentic experience in rural France, in a quiet and lovely area. The house and the garden were charming, the room was clean and modern, breakfast was very good, with homemade food. We loved it! A lot of destinations along the coast were easily reachable by car.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place and accomodation, delicious breakfast and very charming host! Not far from Etretat, a place to visit again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Richard is the best host ever - super friendly)) it’s a fairy-tail place, relaxing and beautiful. Location is perfect - if you’re coming with the car - it’s only several minutes from cliffs of Étretat. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room, you can try local products. It’s one of the best hotels we have ever visited!
Cons: There is no air-conditioning. Also it would be nice to have a mini-fridge in the room, so we could enjoy cold cider and peace of Camembert on the beautiful terrace meeting sunset.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Owners were very helpful. Room was beautifully decorated. Upstairs deck offered a perfect place to sit and look out toward the water.
Cons: No Wi-Fi. Do not follow your GPS to this property unless you follow from Etretat. We were initially taken to a "road" which seemed more like a path. Roads from Etretat were better but there is only room for one car to pass at a time so you need to be mindful of places you can pull off the road if someone comes toward you.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: It is a beautiful house with a very nice yard. Located in a very peaceful neighbourhood, still very close to Etretat. The owner is very pleasant, friendly and thoughtful. We appreciated the way the room was furnished and styled. Huge TV works great with your Netflix or Amazon prime account.
Cons: The walls in the bathroom were a little moldy. The mattress was a bit too soft for us (it's ok but consider it if you have back problems)

Pros: Celine and Nicolas, who are the owners of the house, are the loveliest and kindest couple in Normandy! They were so helpful, friendly and supporting, that during my stay I felt like at home. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts! Even made us a (bio) Normand salade when there was no place in the nearest restaurants. And we got some great homemade cidre of the host :) Great hospitality & service. It's quiet, and (great!) breakfast was in de garden (if weather allows it... )

4.6 Okay
Pros: The only good thing was the swimming pool
Cons: Everything. Bed was damp. Bathroom rubbish small. Door with a communicating room that we didnot want could not be locked etc...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quiet place
Cons: Swimming pool and tennis
4.2 Okay
Pros: Bathrobes in the bathroom was a nice touch. Super friendly dogs.
Cons: Chateau? Personally I love all French chateaux and for me it was just an old, not renovated building which needs more care, attention and good housekeeping. Even for French standards, the level of hygiene at the place was disturbing. Funky, fishy smell in the building was unexpected. The smell from the bathroom could be improved as well. Cleanses of the bathroom was poor. Size of the shower cabin was unexceptionable. The host was OK until the moment he showed me how to use a remote control for the TV set. I found it hilarious ;D I was lucky he didn't show me how to use the bathroom. I noticed that the owners dog (small York) had some inflammation in the eye and it wasn't taken care. The dog needed some grooming as well, especially with head hair. I guess the money goes somewhere else. Highly not recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay. We felt like we were welcomed to the Chateau as if we were family. The Chateau is quirky and different which we loved. We were able to fully relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings with arguably the best views in the house! The fresh bread, cheese, and home made fruit puree in the morning were my favourites. And the apple cider which we think was home made was the best we've ever had. Would definitely go back again. Easy driving distance to Rouen and Honfleur.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place will go into my top list for sure. Charming, authentic, calm. Good breakfast included and everything needed is in a room. For a reasonable price you live in a real chateau with very relaxing atmosphere. This place can be great for organizing weddings
Cons: All was more, then perfect. The only thing is that there is no good places around for a dinner. Need to go to Etretat (20 km) or Honfleur (30 km). But dinner there was nice!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fabulous building and the rooms had lots of character. Bed was very comfortable and en suite had lots of hot water and all one needed. Didier was very attentive, the Table d'hote food was fabulous. Breakfast was also lovely with lots of home made touches. I would definitely return.
Cons: There was nothing I would change.

Pros: It was quaintly Norman. Beautiful setting. Lovely staff very friendly and helpful. I’ve already booked a return trip. A charming place.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location excellent heated pool. Our host was very accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Substantial breakfast with homemade produce and facities to make drinks 24/7

Cons: We arrived , early evening , tired and hungry after a long journey from England. There was no mention of booking meals in advance when we booked the hotel. There was only one other restaurant and a snack bar open in the village . The hotel is advertised as 'all rooms have a kitchen' There was no kitchen in our room and we did not see a bar. Our room was accessed from outside and up three flights of winding stairs .

Pros: Excellent restaurant meal, top quality, beautifully presented and good value. Pros: The property was very beautiful and is located a few minutes drive from Etretat. Run by a lovely old couple, this property gave us an impression of living in a castle and in vintage style. Hosts were extremely warm and friendly. Room was huge with a large bathroom. Parking was easily available.
Cons: The bathroom had towels and a hairdryer, but toiletries were not provided. Breakfast could have been better. Only bread, crossaints and tea/coffee were there. No warm breakfast though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: If you'd like to stay in an old fashioned mansion this is your place.
Cons: They did not accept credit cards.
7.9 Good
Pros: If you have read the other reviews you will notice they state that the floors creak and some even say it is a bit run down. However if you wish to go back in to time when life was more leisurely then this is the place for you. The host is an amazing elder French woman (and as far as I know does not speak English) yet is able to communicate quite readily. the house is an old manor and full of antiques, look past the fading wallpaper and creaking giant staircase and go back to the 1940's. We had just come from a 5* in Chalon and I can tell you this was a refreshing break, Although a bit strange having breakfast at a 12 seat table with only 2 of you, however the breakfast consisted of breads, cheese, homemade jams, yoghurt, orange juice and choice of Tea, Coffee or Chocolate. The house has ample free parking and is in a quiet location, Church bells excluded, however we were there on a Sunday and it was the twelve day of Christmas (yet they were not the worst we have endured). There is a local pizza but no other restaurants, a shop is right outside the property gates where you can get most things, to dine either go to Etretat or Le Havre. either is only 15 minutes away. Point here. we found that restaurants in Etretat do not open their doors until 19:00 so stood out in freezing cold for 30 minutes. The Lady of the manor requires payment in cash, even though the booking states it has been secured by card. I think that maybe WIFI was a leap into the future and card machines a No-No. bank is opposite property just in case, Wifi was hit and miss but in a place like this I was grateful to have limited access to the real world such peace and quiet. Rooms are really large have period beds so be prepared to snuggle up. Loved the place and hope you do too.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Unusual experience and realisation of a childhood dream - to spend a night at the house on a tree
Cons: The apartment was smelly, windows were dirty, and the bed was very hard. Also no kitchen and electricity at the house. Lots of animals were found at the house when we woke up in the morning. We didn't took risk and take a shower as it was cold and dark. I think it could be more comfortable to sleep in our own tent instead.

7.1 Good
Pros: Nice place for weekend with Familly. Lots of free space to play. Great park, kids walked on the trees. Tree houses provide great interest to children
Cons: The staff speak mainly French, it is very difficult to communicate in another language. It is not worth buying breakfast, there is almost nothing there. Unless it's French style. Toilets in poor condition
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, eager to please.
Cons: It wouldn’t take much effort to make the treecamps comfortable. There are plenty of LED battery/solar lamps for example that would provide a minimum of comfort. Also bringing up a couple of lounging chairs instead of just 2 stools, or even a café set of dining height table with 2 chairs, would allow us to actually enjoy the tent, watch the sunset or sunrise, have a little snack, play a game or cards... 99€ for just 2 beds and no lounging/gathering space is below my expectations. However, right next door is an ATV track offering all kinds of electric vehicles: this was a great experience with most friendly staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good value for the money, excellent choice when you need a one night stay.
Cons: May get quickly cold at night and maybe not that comfortable.
5.8 Okay

4.6 Okay
