Location, friendly staff, a nice bar which does not close at 20.00 The carpets in the rooms were not very clean (lots of dust in the edges), and the food in the restaurant was very basic (unlike it's price). But that's a general problem in Dutch hotels.
The foresight of the Staff to have the extra bed already made up for my 5-year old daughter.
Good location, good breakfast Too few road indications to reach the hotel, the description on the booking confirmation was badly needed after the sunset.
The outdoor swimming pool would have been nice if the weather wasn't so awful The hotel seemed to be mainly for conferences , and was rathertoo impersonal for our taste .
We noticed first how kind and helpful the receptionists were. Second, it was practically steps away from the beach and from the city center. Third, we could rent bikes for 3 hours for free! Fourth, heated indoor and normal outdoor pool was great. Fifth, sauna facilities were also good. Room cleaning was not taken seriously by the cleaners. We had to hang "please clean the room sign" twice in one day.
Facilities for (also disabled) guests, very helpful and friendly staff, colourful and clean design rooms, excellent food at a very fair price certainly in comparison to all the fast food in Renesse, private parking, sea and beach at walking distance, clean hotel and environment, availability of enough towels at the pool.
the quality of the food (dinner) was good the not functioning of the sauna, the absence of a mini-bar, the service during dinner due to lack of personnel.
Great location, you can walk from the hotel across the dunes to a beautiful wide beach. Very helpful staff and a well organised hotel with good facilities.
Very good price for a good hotel The complicated system with the separate card to have your drinks registered
The hotel is very good and beautiful. The location is perfect, the staff is helpful. With great pleasure will come back next time.
Very clean, very friendly staff and great meals Becuase it is so new, the landscape is not well established yet. I can see the potiential though!
Everything ok, no Minibar
Surroundings - atmosphere - service - restaurant
The staff was very polite and helpful and the atmosphere of the hotel was very nice
Beautiful place, very quiet Tiny rooms, too small for two persons. Only one chair available. No hooks in the bathroom to put clothes or towels on.
Took the suite which is just an average room in size but had a fantastic bath and a king-size bed instead of the two single beds in the normal rooms! Decoration of the room was nice and trendy. Locks on the doors of the rooms are tricky
Nice location outside of village, direct close to the dunes and beach. Good restaurant. Free parking. Free wireless internet, although had to ask the reception for the password. None
Friendly staff - quiet location
service clean small rooms
the hotel was very good but not quite 4 stars; very good resaturant; spacious rooms ideal if you have a big dig with you; all rooms have sitting area a bit spartan for 4 stars (no fridges or tea/coffee facilities and an ancient hairdryer)
Good size rooms, friendly staff Paying high price for Wifi
Good location, staff is kind and rooms are quite spacious. Free bikes for hire. Relatively fair value for money. Many rooms face the big parking lot. Particularly annoying especially if room is located on the ground floor. Furniture a little cheap for a four-star.
Price and good quality for money. The breakfast, even though we had to rush, because they started to remove it very early. The location: it was a pure nightmare to find it. Addresse on the gps did not not match.
We liked the large room, and excellent bathroom, and found it very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our one night here. Breakfast was also especially good and plentiful. On arrival, we passed this hotel twice, for it is actually called fletcher duin hotel burgh HAAMSTEDE,and we thpught that there must be another one in the area without the duin in the name.
-it was nice that we could hire bikes at the hotel to get around. The room and bathroom were quite spaceous and we had a quiet stay. Brakefast and dinner were very nice. it seemed that there was not enough staff, it was always waiting at reception until somebody came.
de ligging de zon iets te vroeg van het terras verdween
Price for pets is high
Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices of food and drinks. Had dinner at the hotel the first evening, which was very good.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Secure parking; bicycle storage; swimming pool, sauna and fitness.
The staff are amazing!the location was great,if you want beach promximity.atmosphere was cosy and family-hotel-like.LOVED The shower (i´m pregnant and it was easy to get in and out of) The beds were a bit soft and the walls are pretty thin (although we were lucky - our neighbours were quiet)
Kindness of staff, great breakfast.
The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. The rooms were nice. The pool was nice. The atmosphere was excellent, especially in the breakfast room. Breakfast was very nice The evening meal was overpriced and not good. We had steak and it was probably the worst meal I've ever paid to eat.
All in all a good stay The walls are far from being sound-proof and we had quite noisy neighbours who kept us awake almost through the night... Check out at 10:30 am is a bit early in my opinion (given the price) and compared to other hotels...
we enjoyed the position of your hotel being quiet no road noise and good facilities none
friendlyness at reception. Good meal rooms are too clinically clean,
It is a clean and new hotel located very close to beaches. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was a very nice room with a perfect view, nice breakfast and kind staff. Sounds from the hallway were just a little too audible, no problems during the night though.
Very nice furnishing, design etc.! Obliging staff! Very nice, quiet location! Parking space! Overall recommendable!
The personal attention and good advice for a restaurant from the manager Not at all.
Quiet place. Green environment. Staff help with attention and smile. Good value for the environment but small things could make comfort higher.Quality of juices for breakfeast could be better.
Everything was great. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The restaurant in the castle is just great and the food was very good. The same goes for the breakfast. Everything you want in the morning and it is served in a great room with a lot of atmosphere. Great hotel and I would come back anytime The only thing I didn't like was the price for internet access. Such a class of hotel has to offer free internet. That is a must! 5 € per hour is simply too much.
The excellent staff and the nice location on the landgoed Moermond and the excellent restaurant and nice breakfast. We did choose this hotel for the combination nature, quiet location and the welness facilities. Unfortunately the sauna is not in use anymore. If you're not interested in the sauna then the hotel is a very good choice
Very friendly staff. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms with terrace looking out on the fields, lovely breakfasts. Easily accessible, great for cycling.
The breakfasts were generous and the owner was extremely nice and very eager to do a good job.
The lady was friendly & welcoming. We were cycling through Holland, and were able to leave our cycles inside. The breakfast was good. Our room was a converted garage, the shower & toilet facility was shared. We felt that the price of over 100 euro's was far too expensive.
Warm welcome, nice room, beautiful garden - I arrived too late to try the swimming pool, but it seemed interesting
great location, good breakfast buffet grumpy service in the restaurant
The hotel is well situated, the rooms are clean and comfortable, ample parking at the hotel, lovely breakfast buffet and lovely restaurant honest and good food and ever so friendly stafff
Comfortable and clean. A short walk to the downtown area, but quiet area.
The country area of the hotel
Walls are so thin that you can here all the noise from other rooms. Rooms were not heated, so it was quite cold during the night.
My dog was welcome and we were close to the shopping area. There was a packing place We were welcomed by a drunken hotel manager/owner who could not speak English. There were no plugs in the two basins in the bed room and kitchen. We had to shorten our stay because at two in the morning a noisy group of guests came in after a party and were so loud and drunk and after two hours and two complains to the manager/owner who did nothing about it, we had to call the police.
We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and its' location. Great to have so many restaurants near by. Also, proximity to the beach made the hotel an even better stay. We wished the breakfast had been available. Apparently a cook was ill while we were there.
offroad parking and central to town Booked because Booking .com said in blurb 'Wake up with a wholesome breakfast buffet' no breakfast given, no bar, no relaxing lounge, no hotel staff after 6pm. Not so much as a hotel as an endurance test
Realy well situated Hotel, friendly owners. Very clean and nothing too much poblem.
All of the rooms are individually decorated and have a small terrace to take the sun and relax.
Excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect.
Very wellcoming. Large and comfortable room. Internet. Superb Dutch breakfast is freshly prepared by the friendly husband and wife owners. Table service - not buffet. The B&B is in a former farmhouse and has a lot of character. Surrounded by typical Zeeland coutryside: wide open spaces, farmland and sea nearby. Nothing really.
Friendly & helpful owner. Location. Price. Free WiFi. Good breakfast
Excellent B&B. Lovely people running it. Best breakfast we had in the Netherlands. Tastefully decorated rooms with outside sitting area for every room.
Very hospitable owners. Comfortable accommodation. Peaceful and interesting local area. Good restaurants in local villages
The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very good, and the breakfast is excellent. The Villetta is in an excellent location for touring the area.
Very friendly staff and a nice room with good sized bathroom. In a lovely rural location
nice and quiet...........in the village but also near the beach/ sea and walking areas
Diner and breakfast were very good. The staff was kind and friendly! The entrance of the hotel was not clean! The stairs to our room were dirty. The room was very basic and not his price worth!
Easy access throughtout day/night with own key to outside door. With the restaurant closed whilst I was there (Wed. night), the owners decided to have a private barbeque with some 20-odd people right outside my window, stinking out my room with clearly audible "banter" going on till about one o'clock! ....which was worse than the regular bell-ringing of the town's church clock....
The steps are too steep to go up
breakfast was good, location was good, nice restaurant included very simple room, dark bath,
Hotel Perenboom has four nice rooms, bright, clean, and simple. Right across the road is a superb bakery. It's wonderfully quiet in the small village of Burgh, but you can walk to the larger village, Haamstede, and then very easily rent bikes. Once you have bikes, the whole island is just minutes away. Fantastic beaches and restaurants. The rooms are simple and ample, full of light. The doors automatically shut, so watch out, they will slam! I stayed in room 3, and I think it's the best room in the house. The breakfast is just fine, and the restaurant is also excellent in the evening--with a simple menu in the back (cheaper) and a more elegant one in the front. When I saw the other hotels, I was very happy that I'd chosen this one.
