Wonderful place to stay if You come by car to Munich Real closter fresh air real beer
neither good nor bad. difficult to asses. rooms clean, spacious but "cold". Beer from local brewery - perfect. far away from the highway. breakfast could be better but maybe the price make it : so-wie-so.
Proximity to Airport Accomodations Friendly Staff
The staff at the front desk and the cleanliness of the room. Bathrooms were well equipped Staff at the bar wasn't too nice and seemed a little overwhelmed with not that many customers
How easy it was to get there and to public transportation. The rooms were really clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. There was no small store nearby to by things we forgot (baby items, soap etc)
Expensive parking (21 eu p day), close to airport but not AT airport. Need to take bus to get there.
quite They don't have free shuttle bus from airport.
Convenient location and helpful and friendly staff Expensive
So clean, modern and welcoming all around. Parking is insanely expensive and breakfast at 21 euro per person does seem over the top. On the plus side, the breakfast was good.
I think that this hotel should have shuttle to the airport. Breakfast is good but very expensive.
Price for parking is very expensive. Internet connection is very low and poor.
Very good location if you have a very early flight out of Munich. The bus stop was less than 100 meters from the exit and the total bus ride was about 5 minutes to terminal 1. A shuttle would be nice, but the bus comes every 20 minutes. The non smoking room was clean and was more spacious than expected. While this is probably a no-brainer for the seasoned traveler, the 25 euro buffet for dinner was unsatisfactory. In hind-sight we should have ordered room service with the fee, it would have been cheaper and possibly more palatable.
Proximity to airport, modern, clean, typical Novotel business hotel It's not quite at the airport, no shuttle. You have to take a city bus from the airport to get there and it takes you 15 mins - inconvenient. The internet wasn't working well or at all, which, for a business hotel, is not acceptable.
Just very convenient for our trip to Munich Rooms at the back had loud road noise if you like to sleep with window open
I loved the hotel I would stay there again, they spoke great English and were very nice. The room was beautiful and had a pretty nice tub. The breakfast is amazing!! Eggs, bacon really everything but a biscuit! I like how quite and peacefull it was! There was no pool and it's about 20 mins from down town Munich a little far away for my liking,
We really liked staying at the Ampervilla Hotel. It was a little off the beaten path, but the town was nice, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I definitely recommend it. It would have been nice to have a pool.
The room is spacious, clear and decorated in elegance. Breakfast and internet also include in room price that is economical. The room we were gave is near by the cross road. The cars came in and out all night. Indoor is stuffy and have to open the window. I couldn't sleep until wear the ear plug.
Better than I expected!
The staff were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty. We were late for a flight and the staff checked us out quickly and phoned ahead to the airport on our behalf.
Very good and romantic restaurant. Staff really nice and helpful. Two course(fish soup plus meat) dinner with wine, coffee and dessert for two came to 65 euros (tips included) which is fantastic. Breakfast was great experience. Room with bathroom was big and very clean. Decore of room was lovely (stayed in queen room). Overall design of hotel is impressive. There was also a reading room with sofa and coffe machine. Parking is not a problem. Very close to the airport. My partner would have loved a small kettle in the room.
Wifi in the entire hotel, staff
The hotel and staff no
Comfortable, clean and access to the international air port.
It's location. It is a few miles from the airport, but easily accessible bu bus and much closer than Munich. It is in the charming small town of Freising.
It was close to the train station, Friesling's city center, free breakfast was good, decor was nice and the beds and room were very comfortable. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. There was a shuttle for a reasonable price to the airport which is what we needed. They did not clean out the garbages and ash trays outside of the elevators so it stunk when you got off the elevator, the hotel had a pool party the first day so you couldn't swim that day and they were very unfriendly. They promised food and there was none to be seen.
Very overpriced relative to other local hotels. It's not really near the airport (20 min drive) so expect a 25 Euro cab fare. My room was clean visually but had a strong mildew smell. I didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast so I can't really comment on the food, but for $200 bucks you're much better off staying either in downtown Munich or closer to the airport, depending on your needs.
Great staff and very comfortable. Nice little town with a good train service to Munich. It's not that close to the airport - around 15 mins drive, although there is a bus service.
The bed and pillows Long wait for service for dinner, even by European standards, the head waiter was apologetic and I had not even made a complaint, breakfast too expensive
wellness facilities are great
Emergency response by staff during a citywide power blackout.
the hotel is good for familly
Great Marriott facility, convenient to Muenchen airport.
Staff very very nice. They helped me for everything I needed. the position of the hotel very near to the center, station, restaurants. the possibility to have breackfast 24 hours per day no babybed avalaible. One 4 stars hotel without bar/eating isn't possible (bar service only in sommer or better....by summer wethear!!! )
Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable Room became very hot in the middle of the night, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by opening the window.
Hotel decor was attractive. Bed was covered with a duvet intsead of a bed spread, making it easier to provide a clean bed for each new guest. Breakfast buffet included a variety of fresh foods and hot entres and the coffee was freshly brewed. Two minor things. There was no coffee pot or hot water pot in the room, and only one English language TV channel. I was there in June and the weather was cool, but in late summer, the lack of AC might be a factor to consider before booking.
not liked at all. I sent a complaint email to the hotel, they sent a rude reply letter. This is so unhappy to see a service-sector company at 2010, they are running the hotel with an ancient mentaility and not customer oriented.
It is classified as an airport hotel, and Booking.com labels it as 6.3km away from the airport, in fact it is more than 10km away; also, the offer called "Park, Sleep & Fly Offer - Double Room" included an airport transfert for one person only and a charge of €18 for the other person, which is exactly the price for a taxi ride, so we eventually paid for the transfer of both of us, which can't be considered fair practice!
Very nice staff. Easy access to hotels, train, and the airport.
The staff was excellent, accommodating and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent - it is an easy walk to the university, to the downtown area with bakeries and restaurants, and also to some of the sights of Freising. the room didn't have air conditioning and it was quite stuffy on several warm days, but was relatively easy to cool off at night with the open window and the fan. As a business traveler, I also prefer staying in a hotel with a gym, but I didn't look for/check on this before hand, so this was my own problem. That said, there are some nearby trails where you can go walk/exercise, which is probably even nicer than a gym, anyway.
the service was great and the care for detail was really noticeable, hence the feng shui name.
Breakfast was delicious and versatile. Service Personnel at breakfast very professional as actually most of the stuff too. Very harmony like business hotel.
The Reception and Restaurant staff were very obliging and helpful with a pleasing personality.
Compact but very good room planning
Great location. Good breakfast. No elevator. No alarm clock. Very noisy at night with drunken people in the street between 12:30 am - 3:30 am all three nights. Side note about village. No shops or resaturants accepted USA credit cards. (Hotel accepted credit cards) Brewery Tour cancelled. Terrible Gift shop at Brewery. No free tastings. Traveled 4,000 miles. Stayed in Freising for that reason.
The hotel was lovely. The breakfast buffett was great. The owners were charming. I could see myself going back. I was most disappointed that they did not have a transfer to the Munich airport. I would have chosen another hotel, if I had known it was going to cost me another 40euros to get me back to the airport.
The design and the modernity of the interior infrastructure... I don't see a self-distributor of drinks or snacks...
Hotel was everything as described, and Wi-Fi worked well in our room. Convenient location lust off autobahn, and good breakfast. Nothing - all ok.
staff is helpful, room is clean, comfortable and spacious, breakfast is very delicious. room price is too high, if breakfast is not compulsory will be better
Everything was tip - top No
The staff was great...they made you feel at home. the only down fall is that the hotel is really far from Munich City and the buses stop running around 8pm. other then the public trnasportation avalibility the place is a great place to stay. I would love to stay there agian. Not a hotel for young kids not much to do around the hotel itself.
Nice, quiet hotel, typical Bayern style, friendly service, located close to Munich and the motorway. Perfect for one night stop. Typical Bayertn Gasthof / restaurant with local dishes just 100 m from the hotel.
Hotel was in good location, close to munich airport but still in countryside. Lovely walks along the river close by. Hotel was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable with everything we needed. Wifi available free throughout the hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food (breakfast and dinner) excellent. Couldn't have wanted a better hotel.
They say "location is everything" and that is why we chose Hotel Waldhof and it's proximity to the Munich airport. But we so pleased with everything else about this hotel as well. The restaurant is great, the rooms very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful! It was a pleasure and we'll look to stay here again!
...the moment we left the hotel... ...the restaurant had a day off in Monday - so unusual - we had to search for a place to get a food...The room had no heating - in January we would prefer to have a warm room :) Poor English - difficult to communicate with the hotel's staff...
We love 't Nothing
Very nice breakfast area well decorated. Very friendly staff \ owner. Restaurant hapenned to be closed the night we stayed there.
Clean and very nice staff. Easy to find and good place to rest while traveling to Austria. This Hotel wass a passthru stopp for us. No problems at all
We were very satisfied with the rooms and also that there were a parkingplace for our car close to the hotel. First of all it was a bit difficult to find the hotel. Also even if it was a Sunday breakfast room could be open as a normal weekday and when we came to the breakfast not everything was ready.
Very nice, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Convenient city bus to RR station.
The rooms were large and clean. We arrived very late and the owner was so gracious to get out of bed to let us in. It was a great find!
Gasthof Lerner was easy to find, clean, had every amenity and the staff were more than helpful with all we asked. Definately recommenable.
Very nice Hotel, nice location and easy to find. Breakfast was great and would gladly stay again
Very big and clean room, nice bathroom. We got the 3 persons room, the standard 2 is of normal size. There is no airco in the room, only on the hallway, so sleeping was next to impossible with the 30+ Celcius that we had.
Excellent food in the bar/restaurant. Best vegetarian meal I have had for a long time and the potatoes with onions - great. Lots of it too.
Nice size room and convenient lay out
It a very nice hotel with nice bar and restaurant. You have to reserve the shuttle between hotel and airport. if not it takes 20 min to get it.
The available information, friendly helpful staff and that there is a pleasant restaurant or pub where one can relax We had an unfortunate experience with a taxi ride to the hotel - It would help if information about options of transport from hotel to airport or the train station could be spelled out when a booking is made, espesially for overseas visitors
The room is too small for people with luggage
Friendliness of staff, food was of a good quality and room was very well presented. It was a little costly.
Visiting nice Freising I was really disappointed when living in such an expensive hotel that I should have paid 20-25 EUR just to enter their Internet access for reading mails. Secondly, the breakfast was not worth additional 19 EUR.
A nice hotel with a good bar/restaurant. A little expensive, but normal for an airport hotel.
rooms very modern, roomy and clean. restaurant next door absolutely excellent, breakfast also brilliant. train tracks right outside, busy road outside.
Room very clean and staff nice Room too warm. Breakfast too expensive
Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Very nice modern rooms at a good price.
Of all the hotels we've ever been this hotel was the best. Unbelievable clealiness, exclusively beautiful decor, fairy-tale service. comfortable room, convenient location - everything was perfect. But the most etraordinary things were the professionalism, warm attitude and charm of the hosts.
Host and cleanliness were the stand out features also great design
great decor, good room with facilities, loved our two hosts, fabulous breakfast
nice clean rooms, exellent service, good food, nice and quiet, friendly enviroment and commfy beds. no coments
The owners were very friendly and both my husband and I felt very welcomed; everything exceeded expectations, from breakfast to cleanliness. It is also very quiet, being a bit isolated from the main road. If I return to Munich, I will certainly book a room at Villa Rosa.
Really nice and beautifully designed rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.
