The hotel is across the street from the train station, making it very convenient. The front desk does not open until 7:00 in the morning, so one cannot check out of the hotel to catch, say, a train leaving at 6:10. The floors are hardwood rather than carpeted.
We particularly liked the uniquely furnished suite and its quiet location. It was quiet, private and most comfortable. The reception staff were also very helpful to us as foreign language speakers and this was also very much appreciated.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere. The convivial and exceptionally helpful staff, particularly teh restaurant staff who could not have done enough for us. They really went out of their way to accommodate our two young children at mealtimes.
It was the worst night in a hotel ever. We were in a room right next to the train station that was active all night. Neither of us slept at all.
The staff were pleasant and the restaurant (dinner) was good. Continental breakfast was fine. Very close to train station which was very convenient. Option to pay for secure parking was good. Ability to book a family room was good (double and bunk beds) but the room was in need of redecoration Mould on the bedroom and bathroom walls. Bedroom quite noisy due to water pipes from other rooms running through room walls.
Tirano is a good stop-over for the Stelvo Pass; hotel is central in Tirano, next to railway station Very noisy next to station, started at 5:30am. Room we had was basic, nothing like the elegant rooms in the internet gallery
The location was perfect! Right across from the train station! Perfect for catching an early morning train through the stunningly beautiful Bernina Pass. We had a wonderful dinner there and a great breakfast!!
1,Morning buffet was wonderful! 2, Good location (just in front of the station) 3, Clean room and bathroom.
Every thing was ok. None of my credit/debit cards would work; no other problems with cards during week away!
The hotel had an excellent location in the main square next to the Bernina Pass train station, very good for those travellers doing the Bernina train ride. There was no food available after 8 p.m. anywhere.
warm atmosphere, gentleness and readiness to help from staff none
the location of the hotel is great, it is what you expect from a 3 star hotel. It is simple and gives you what you want for a good price. Nothing special no luxury The towels are thin and the bathroom is small.
Varied breakfast good for Italy! Had a room at the back of the Hotel it was a bit dingey.
I liked the location and nearness to the train station for the Bernina Express. The staff spoke only a few words of English. The waitress/waiter were invisible and it took over 30 minutes to get water when they finally realized they had a customer. Very, very poor service.
The hotel service was professional and everything went very smoothly. Good breakfast, ok look. The hotel is a bit old and the equipment of the cheaper rooms little old and destroyed, but of for short stay.
nice hotel. poor breakfast
everything! it was a dream! no
Bathroom is very comfortable
Restaurant had great food and was well priced. Bar and lounge area was comfortable and all the food and drinks were fairly priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. There was a large selection of food. You can order eggs or omeletes at no extra charge I could not get the wireless internet to work with my computer.
Great staff All good
with going out of season it was very quiet, just what we were looking for no
Everything was perfect. Staffs were friendly and helpful. When my son and wife were ill, they were very kind. Breakfast was nice, and Restaurant was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. It is the best hotel that I have ever stayed in, and good value for price absolutely. We stayed for 5days. We could go to ski only for 2 days since it was raining, but we enjoyed staying at Borno for all 5 days.
Friendly and helpful staff is the main feature. The dining experience was good and staff very helpful at making sure you got what you wished for despite having no Italian. Seems to manage right degree of formality in the dining room yet it was relaxing with good food reasonably priced and seemed to be very child friendly. No TV with English in rooms - however had free (fast) WIFI in bedroom.
Clean and warm rooms. Good value for money. Staff was great
Lovely and friendly hotel in the fantastic little mountain village of Borno. Our room felt quite luxurious at the price and the atmosphere is quite charming. Good restaurant.
excellent friendly &helpfull staff reception&bar
Really enjoyed our stay. Staff very welcoming and helpful, dinner in dining room available until midnight which was terrific after late arrival of our flight to Milan and food really great quality Only negative point is that road in front of the hotel is quite busy although double glazing excellent so kept noise of traffic to a minimum
Good location , free private parking
It was wonderful being in such a beautiful place and to be there with friends and family who were all going to the same wedding. Staff and others there were wonderful to us. No complaints.
Hotel situated behind a trafficed road and above a slot machine bar, doesn't exactly reflect the impression one gets from the pictures og the hotel. Standard rooms are all located at the back og the hotel with poor view. The ventilation system is also quite noisy.
A lovely hotel in a beautiful location and very friendly. What more could you ask for.
Clean, comfortable with polite and helpful staff. Good restaurant.
large and clean room with aircondition view over the parking
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Excellent service from the hotel staff. Very nice view to the Lake Isio from our rooms with balcony. We travelled with a wheelchair user and got a good and functional room for him. Dinner in the evening was good. Breakfast a bit simple but good enough for our needs.
Good location, good views from rooms with balcony. Good restaurant. Breakfast was disappointing, small choice of food.
The rooms were fantastic and the staff excellent, I would highly reccommend anyone to stay there.
The hotel appears to be newly built, and the rooms and interior ot the hotel are lovely, even if the colours in some bathrooms are a bit bold. The staff are friendly and spoke good English. This was the most expensive hotel stayed at in Italy, but was not the best value for money by any means. The breakfasts are tasty, but the selection not as good as some hotels; for example, only one type of cereal is available to choose from. Evening meals are essentially a fine dining experience and correspondingly very expensive (especially for Italy) for not a lot of food, even if overall the courses were delicious.
Very personable and friendly Hotel, this was during the off peak season so not fully functioning menu wise etc but more than adequate.
Impressed with the hotel and staff but personally find modern hotels a little souless and was expecting something a little more traditonal. Would recommend this hotel and will stay there again if in the area
The staffs in the hotel are very kind and helpful. The room is clean. The spa close at 7pm, which is early for us and its facility is less numbers.
Most things were good. The front staffs were not understand English much. The distance from train station was a little bit far though there were no taxi or no taxi call no. could be found. The hotel might be suitable for driving guest.
The hotel is modern with very pleasing decor & design. The restaurant has beautiful views over the lake & the cuisine is of a high standard. The breakfasts were not up to standard for a 4 star hotel. The minibar had only soft drinks (although there was a bar next to the reception which was open for long hours)
This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip to Italy. The staff were very polite and friendly. There was plenty of space to park and the hotel was in a great position. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great location away from main tourist areas yet access to Pisogne is only minutes walk away with the whole of lake Iseo available for exploration by car. Spa and pool are welcome diversions with very friendly and accommodating staff. Great access to foothills of the Alps
location, friendliness of staff, great view
Family room was spacious, staff very helpful (there was no TV in a room, but on request it was brought to our room). Breakfast was very solid. The hotel is near the church, so the bells rang every 15 minutes (except from 23 to 7 (from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.)) and traffic noise starts spreading very early in the morning, therefore it is impossible to sleep well. Another minus that shower was without any curtain, so there was always wet in a bathroom.
The resturant The out-dated rooms
A very nice family run hotel with delicious food. Bossico is nicely situated just 30 minutes from Lago di Iseo. A perfect place for easy hiking and the place for a relaxing stay.
Very friendly and accomodating staff, where nothing was too much trouble. Excellent personal attention that comes with well run small hotels. The scenery is breathtaking especially the nearby park with views overlooking the lahe. The rooms don't have air conditioning and so were a little hot in the height of summer. Opening the windows was not an option as the hotel is situated right on a road and the traffic noise was worse than the heat (With the windows shut it was very quiet
Excellent breakfast :)
It is situated in a very little village The bathroom was very little and did not smell very fresh in our room. The bathroom in our daughter's room was very good and large. The rooms near the street are rather noisy when the window is open. No airconditioning in the room so we had to sleep with an open window.
Beautiful setting, well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent cuisine. Bathroom very tiny, with a microscopic shower. The room itself was very small.
Wery kindfull staff (probably the owner). Clean. View was beautiful. Food->exellent.
clean, friendly and nice facilites
