Pros: Nice quiet location, family run business, free coffee. The bed was comfortable and the room was at good temperature even without air conditioning. It was an enjoyable stay.

Pros: The room/apartment was fantastic and super well equipped. Everything you could imagine was there and it was nice and clean. You could easily live there for a while. In hotel comparison I would say its equivalent to a junior suite. Very nice place, friendly staff.
Cons: We didn't order breakfast up front, but tried to order it early in the morning but by the time we finally woke up the owner it was too late for him to make breakfast before we left. He was very friendly and tried to find solutions though.
Pros: Very attentive welcome. Very well equipped/presented facilities. Excellent breakfast.
Pros: Amazing place to stay. Lovely apartments and the owners are really nice people and helpful
Pros: Everything was perfect. You feel like in your old family house. Room with books on shelves, nice decoration, fancy lightning, feel super cozy. Wooden floor, terrace... a bottle of wine and a bowl of nuts for welcome. Great! I wish i stayed there longer to start emptying the mini bar with a collection of local beers and wines. In addition to all these spiritual things, the room was really well equipped, starting from a piece of eco-friendly soap, a hot water bottle (SIC!) to the convenient power plugs and USB chargers next to bed. No hotel would even think about thst. And all that done with good taste. Super cozy, definitely worth booking. Ah and breakfast!!! Make sure you order it beforehand. It waits at your door in the morning.
Pros: Amazing place, a hidden gem really. You just don't wanna leave... The studio had all one needs, confortable bed, kitchen, nice bathroom. spacious, terrace, etc. Totally recommended!!

Pros: The staff, food and location are excellent..we had a number of excellent meals in the wonderful garden..
Cons: 35 degrees and no air con..
Pros: Food and the service was excellent.
Cons: It was few hot days and so the room was very hot as well. Was not a surprise and I guess every hotel without aircon has the same issue in those environments.
Pros: Like the atmosphere and the kindness of the people. Very special decoration, you don't feel like an hotel, quite cosy and relaxing.
Cons: Nothing special to mention here.
Pros: Everything is just perfect. Felt like going into a fairytale. Each room has a theme. Staff are the best. Felt just like home
Pros: The hotel owners are very nice and wlecoming.
Pros: Everyone very friendly and ready to assist where required. Very accommodating.
Cons: Not a complaint, just a suggestion to have a kettle in the room for coffee and tea. I was in Switzerland for studies and sat late nights working..coffee would have been great. Again, only a recommendation. Everything else was great.
Pros: Staff was exceptional.

The Burghalde Bus Stop is 50 metres away, and Lenzburg Train Station is 800 metres away. Zurich is 30 km from Hotel Ochsen.
Pros: The patio on the property was great to have a family event with people of all ages, including kids running around. The staff was well versed in English, besides German and French, which worked well for our extended family.
Cons: Internet access was spotty and slow.
Pros: The room was nice and clean but quite warm without air-conditioning
Pros: Very close to Lenzburg old town, walking distance. Free parking for hotel guests right across the street. Very good restaurant in the hotel, with a lovely terrace and delicious food.
Cons: Rooms towards the street are incredibly noisy, as it's a busy road that stays busy until late and early in the morning- really not enjoyable. Checking in was slow and tedious.
Located in Lenzburg, Barracuda offers 4-star accommodation with a bar and a terrace. Featuring a restaurant, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. A continental breakfast is available daily at Barracuda. Guests at the accommodation will be able to enjoy activities in and around Lenzburg, like hiking and cycling. Zürich is 38 km from Barracuda, while Luzern is 48 km away. The nearest airport is Zurich Airport, 40 km from the hotel.
Pros: The best part is the Great location next to train station and within walking distance to the city center, bars and restaurants! Love the happy hour specials with snacks and 2 for 1 drinks. Restaurant was also good with good food. The room has a small kitchenette with refrigerator and stove top to give flexibility for food and drinks.
Cons: The hotel lacks a workout gym and pool. Also there’s no AC air conditioning which gets hot in the summer months, especially in the rooms. The staff did provide a fan for my upstairs bedroom, since there was only one window that could opened for ventilation. This made sleeping more bearable but the fan was noisy.
Pros: A little difficult to find, but a great hotel, bar and restaurant. Anyone with a design interest will appreciate the way the hotel has been retrofitted into this old industrial building and retained the industrial aesthetic. The mezzanine bedrooms are great.
Pros: Quite rooms, good bed and pillows, excellent location and very good restaurant. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Poor breakfast choice, cleaning service should knock on the door before coming into the room. Why such a late check-in hour, if the rooms are cleaned so early in the morning?
Pros: Easy parking, comfy bed , close to transportation
Cons: No power points in the bedroom, no open window.
Pros: The beds were comfortable and the facilities modern. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. There were slippers and a dressing gown provided and towels and toiletries were replenished daily.
Cons: The hotel was really a restaurant with a hotel facility. The reception is in the restaurent and guests walk through to their rooms. There was little interest shown by staff when I arrived as it was Saturday and everyone was busy preparing for the evening meal including the receptionist. I felt all requests were seen as a nuisance. Language may have played a part as it is a small town and English poorly understood. A kitchen is advertised and was one of the reasons I chose the hotel, but it had no cooking pots or utensils, although there were two rings. They seemed to be just for show. There was not even a kettle although tea was provided and on Sunday you have to make your own breakfast as there are no staff. Food is provided, including raw eggs, so when I pointed out this problem, the staff were unsure what to do, but eventually provided a frying pan. I ended up providing my own saucepan for boiling water, as they only had a coffee machine. My stay included breakfasts and there was an option to eat in my room so given I seemed the only guest, I prefered this to sitting alone in a large empty dining room. Every day I told the receptionist I was a vegetarian and every day she offered me a platter of mainly meat with a little cheese. She would then remove the meat, leaving the remaining cheese on the same dish, no fruit or vegetables were ever offered. The bread reduced daily and the juice on the last. I had to repeatedly ask for milk and eggs. It didn't encourage me to dine there, although I asked to see a menu when I arrived. However none was provided during my stay, so I eventually decided not to bother. Regarding the room; it was not indicatated the sleeping area was up a steep flight of stairs, so anyone disabled could not stay in the hotel. It would also be difficult for some people to have a bathroom on the lower level, if they have to get up in the middle of the night.
Pros: Brand new rooms, I loved the design and all the amenities. The room was like a mini loft apartment. Excellent facilities.
Pros: First stay but will defiantly being staying there again. Staff were particularly friendly and could not have done more to make you feel welcome - even showing you to your room upon check-in
Cons: The hotel is very new so a couple of area's they should consider. The rooms are duplex with a small kitchenette and bathroom down stairs with the bedroom on the second. In the bathroom they could do with providing a hook to hang your towel/bathrobe. In the bedroom there was no plug sockets available - at least none that I could find, to charge phones/laptop, despite there being a long desk - just a couple of minor points but the later is quite an omission.
Pros: What is very nice and up to 4 stars: a) The people of the hotel and restaurant are super nice and helpful b) The little balcony – terrace in front of the restaurant is pleasant c) The restaurant’s decoration is superb and very different d) The rooms are very well equipped with a kitchenette, Nespresso Machine, Toaster and a nice bathroom
Cons: What should be improved: a) The GPS (Volkswagen) brings you in the little street in front of the hotel entrance, which is correct, but the information panels pointing out the main entrance or indicating the parking are either too small or missing b) No information on booking.com or on your site about a staircase inside of the room to reach the bed. It is very important to indicate that on the room description! We had to ask for another room (equipped for handicaped people) c) Breakfast was brought in the evening to our room and put into the fridge as the restaurant was closed on Sunday morning. The squared white bread was disgusting and it was no knife anywhere in the room? Had to put butter on a toast with a spoon! d) How do 2 people eat breakfast at the same time with only 1 chair in the room? One must sit on the bed? e) As said previously, the restaurant being closed Sunday morning, we went outside through the side door and had to reach the garage trough the car ramp. I know that another way inside of the building exist but is certainly not clearly indicated by a panel! What is totally inadequate for a 4 stars hotel: a) The room description clearly indicates AC in the rooms. As a hot day (30°C) was announced, we booked this hotel specifically for that. However, the air conditioning is a disaster and is not refreshing the room. It would have been much better to be able to open the windows as it was cooler outside than inside
Gasthof zum Schützen offers a restaurant, free WiFi access, and free parking on site, 600 metres from the centre of Aarau and 1 km from the train station. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a bathroom with a shower or bath and a hairdryer. The restaurant on site serves traditional and seasonal dishes. A buffet breakfast is also available at Gasthof zum Schützen. The Ifang Bus Stop is 50 metres away and upon request, a shuttle service can be arranged for a surcharge. The Aare River and a public pool are reachable within a 5-minute walk. It is 50 km to Zurich.
Pros: Excellent restaurant, cosy interior, friendly staff, very popular with the locals Good breakfast, beautifully presented
Cons: Everything was good. A simple, comfortable, family run hotel, not luxurious but very pleasant
Pros: It was conveniently close to my family
Cons: It was noisy (sandwiched between the railway line and a busy road) and the room was tiny. A hotel delivery truck was being loaded at 01:15 right outside our window and the staff talking at the tops of their voices.
Pros: The room and facility were very nice, the restaurant for dinner was very good, however, the breakfast was very disappointing.
Cons: Usually there are some sort of egg selection and cut fruit, in addition, no toaster for bread. Water had to be requested and the coffee was very weak. This was kind of strange, I have stayed at several other hotels in the area. The facility offers an excellent restaurant for dinner.
Pros: Very nice staff and service is excellent! They always look for ways to help you and show genuine effort to make guests feel great! The restaurant is excellent and they let taste on of the greatest red wines ever!
Cons: Not Applicable

Pros: Excellent location and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Very nice location close to city center. Room was great with everything in the right place Super gentle staff and good breakfast
Pros: The hotel's location is great. You don't need a car as the city center is just one minute away. If you have a car, there's a parking lot just across the street.
Cons: Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have any parking, i.e. it becomes rather expensive.
Pros: Modern architecture. Location. Professionalism of staff. Quality of food. Ability to rent bicycle. Design of the room.
Cons: Tad expensive. Worth it to me for this short stay.
Pros: Loved the breakfast!
Cons: room towards street noisy, could not open windows during warm night

Pros: Staff courtesy
Pros: friendly and extremely helpful staff, excellent breakfast, convenient underground parking - simply everything was great!
Pros: Decent value for money
Cons: Dusty rooms, shower head came flying off. Very basic bathroom facilities
Pros: Everything especially staff was so helpful
Cons: Noise from club
Pros: The staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. It was in a very good location. We liked the fact that there is a garage for the car.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning in the room on the top floor.
With a stay at Landgasthaus zum Hirschen in Obersiggenthal (Baden District), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Langmatt Museum and Kultur und Kongresszentrum Trafo Baden. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Our room was large and had a large shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and surrounding area was very clean. The breakfast was nice. Our dinner was nice, of course it being Switzerland the prices are higher. Nice area to walk, felt safe.
Cons: There was street noise as multiple buses passed by on the narrow road below the window in our room. I didn't expect this as the hotel was out of Baden and not on the main road.
Pros: Very clean and modern room. Convenient for local travel.
Cons: No tea and coffee making facilities and no seating area to get comfortable. Breakfast was very basic.
Pros: Both very good.
Cons: The Wi-Fi was difficult to use as it went down quite often. The church bell ringed for long tie at 7.00 A.M. I do not know if this is usual in Switzerland.
Pros: Good ( twin ) beds and nice shower . Wifi worked fine . Breakfast " okay " and the food in the restaurant as well . Outside seating possible . Parking nearby . Sleeping with open windows not possible because of passing traffic .
Pros: Very nice location, really intimate. The staff was nice and the room was clean and quite weel organized.
Cons: The Wi-Fi connaction was so weak and impossible to use in the room; it worked just on the restaurant building... The bathroom was very tiny with no place to locate toilet stuff.
A stay at Hotel Lenzburg places you in the heart of Lenzburg, a 3-minute drive from Lenzburg Castle and 7 minutes from Wildegg Castle. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Planning an event in Lenzburg? This hotel has facilities measuring 151 square feet (14 square meters), including a conference center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel really gave value for money: the bed was a dream, there was a coffee machine in the room with free capsules, there was free still & sparkling water, free wifi and a free apple ;-) Breakfast was rich and staff very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
Pros: Food was good if you knew what you were ordering. Water and coffee machine in room. Hotel very well maintained and kept to a high standard.
Cons: Pillow was way too big. No menu in English and staff not very helpful in translation, still managed to guess well and the food was excellent, but like the whole of Switzerland it was expensive.
Pros: The comfort of the bed was good
Cons: Bathroom too small and a poor layout
Pros: - central location. walk distance to old town, shops, hiking trails and the nearby castle. - We met with the most helpful, capable/efficient and friendly staff one could think of. - enjoyed the breakfast buffet and also the evening bar support - Liked the initial room assigned (#19) that was recently upgraded. Looked cozy and functional. However, it was facing the busy street side. Since there is no AC in the room, liked to open windows,. but noise level was too much. Staff was able to move us to another room (#35). Much larger, more features (eg kitchen, balcony..), not facing the street side. However, it had not been upgraded yet, which was noticeable, especially in the bathroom. No show stopper at all, but noticeable. - free of charge wifi access - the food the restaurant prepares is outstanding. We experienced the hotel catering to a wedding of about 100 people and foot preparation was outstanding and service superb.
Cons: - room #35 should be upgraded, especially the bathroom. In the meantime, make the bathtub - also serves as a shower - less slippery. - service the shower head so that it does not spray all over the place
Pros: Great location, extremely welcoming staff, lovely dinner

Pros: Very friendly owners, made us feel very welcome!
Pros: very good breakfast
Cons: nothing to note
Pros: Very conveniently located close to the train station, wonderfully kind couple that runs the hotel. Impeccably clean.
Cons: The hotel is clearly a bit dated, but clean and comfortable.
Pros: The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the owner even showed me his model railway. It’s rare to feel genuinely welcomed when traveling on business.
Pros: Very friendly an cheerful staff. Lightened up my day with good sense of humour. Also: free beer every night! Very civilised.
Cons: The only thing that really bugged me is the bed was creaky. Creaky enough that when I rolled over in the night, the noise woke me up!
Pros: The Breakfast was good enough. Very nice staff. The location is very good.
Pros: The hosts from hotel were so nice. I would say, a rare quality I have witnessed in europe. Highly recommended!
Cons: I would be happy to have two pillows, they had only one.
Pros: I liked that I could leave my car on the hotel parking lot, while I walked to my client each day. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The room itself was spotlessly clean. Would go there next time as well. Although the bed was a single bed, it was closer to a small double bed, so it was still comfortable.

It features a historic wine cellar and 2 restaurants. The rustically furnished rooms provide free WiFI access, a flat-screen TV, and a bathroom. Free private parking is available on site. Pros: Very traditional chalet style.
Cons: No lift but not many floors.
Pros: Excellent food in the Gourmet restaurant and the Champagne Garden. Several nice open air areas for meals. Very friendly staff except for one who lowered the overall rating. Quiet location and a pleasant balcony (the only one in the hotel?) see photo.
Cons: Welcome: we were not expected and the member of staff on duty was very offhand and continued throughout our stay to act as if guests were only to be tolerated. eg did not offer us the option of the Gourmet restaurant on the first night but put us in the 'Stube' - did not offer eggs or extra drinks at breakfast.
Pros: The woodwork and stone made it feel old world and charming. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Not enough available electric outlets in the room.
Located in Suhr, Hotel zum Kreuz is within a 5-minute drive of Suhr Museum and Aargauer Kunsthaus. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and an elevator. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Room is bigger Breakfast OK
Cons: washroom shower water too small
Pros: The hotel itself was quiet, comfortable, clean, the breakfasts were good and the staff welcoming and friendly. The outside of the hotel could do with smartening up and the bathroom facilities updating. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would not be put off staying again despite our observations.
Cons: The shower facilities : we had to be careful when showering as not paying due attention could have resulted in flooding the bathroom because part of the shower screen was missing.
Pros: Very good morning coffe. Spirit of the house.
Cons: I am traveling alot cross the whole Europe, but what happened to me here was CRAZY. I arrived at 22:45 and on the website was written, reception is open till 24:00. Because I was traveling 2 days in a row, I was booking this hotel when I was driving and about 6 hours far away from the hotel and I wasn't sure, if I will get there before 24:00 so I sent a message throught the booking to hotel to expect me around midnight - NO answer. When I arrived I was waiting 1 hour on the reception and trying to reach the receptionist with the help of booking.com. After 1 hour receptionist came and told me, people are calling police to me, because I am loud during the calling and that he will not give me a room, because he doesn't want someone like me in a house - it was absolutely out of the line. After a long discussion and proving, it was his fault he gave me a room and next day morning, was everything OK, but I guess, he should work much profesionaly and don't react like this. BTW: booking hotline was useless in this case,...
Pros: all is OK
Pros: The quietness of the room and the bed, very comfortable. A great place where to stop
Pros: Great place and very friendly staff !
Pros: Old style of hotel especially the key for door
Cons: Everything at the hotel was perfect but the town location very expensive.
Pros: Very friendly staff, good beds, good breakfast.

Schinznach-Bad is located between Brugg and Aarau. From the Schinznach-Bad train station you can reach the Kurhotel Im Park within a 10-minute walk.
Cons: For old sick people
Cons: The hotel and booking.com misrepresent the services of this hotel as they list it under the "airport shuttle" filter for Zurich airport (on the first page of results!). The hotel DOES NOT offer an airport shuttle. The hotel is too far from Zurich Airport to take an über (90 € minimum) or taxi (upwards of 100 €) and the only option they gave me was to take a train to a nearby town, where they would pick me up at the train station. This was not a good option as I was carrying luggage, I am not familiar with the area, and the train ticket was also not cheap (32 € - a price I would have happily paid for an actual airport transfer, but not for a complicated trip with stops, with a big suitcase in tow). Despite providing inaccurate information in the listing, neither the hotel nor booking.com provided a satisfactory solution (a reduced cancellation rate? a voucher? something!), and I had to pay for a hotel room I did not use. Being a frequent traveller with booking.com, I am extremely disappointed at how they dealt with this. The hotel is STILL listing an airport transfer service, featuring this icon on booking's results pages.
Pros: Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel is well organised to address all needs. The rooms are beautiful and equipped.
Cons: You have to look hard for things to complain about, if some one does it is definitely complaining on a high level. Perhaps is the price a bit high, especially for the breakfast. I'm sure it must be very good but almost 30 euro pp is even in Switzerland expensive. Some parts look antique and are defnitely luxurious. Still the atmosphere like a private hospital. The shower with curtain did not fit the scenery.
Cons: nothing all was perfect
Cons: This hotel design for visitors who are speaking Germany language only , the ones who do not speak that language will not be able to have a good stay
Pros: the junior suite on top of the roof of Habsburg building - with its vaste terrasse and private whirlpool - is just stunning! We will come back for sure!
Pros: No faults, absolutely fantastic
With a stay at Sorell Hotel Aarauerhof in Aarau, you'll be a 2-minute walk from Naturama Aargau Museum and 6 minutes by foot from Aargau Art Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great upkeep, fantastic breakfast and customer service. So many nice touches ... yoga mat in room, Rituals Cosmetics and plenty others. Great spa!
Cons: The house is a bit dated, but in a great shape!
Cons: The bed sheets were too warm.
Pros: Very comfortable beds, great breakfast, helpful reception staff and perfect local for the train station.
Cons: I loved it all.
Pros: Hotel is right next to the station.
Cons: Rooms look dated
Pros: Location is great, right next to the railway station.
Cons: No possibility to lower the heating in the room. At arrival it was very warm in the room and sleeping with the window open is uncomfortable with all the city noise.
Set in Brugg, Hotel Gotthard has a bar, terrace and free WiFi throughout the property. There is a restaurant serving European cuisine, and free private parking is available. Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Brugg, like cycling. Zürich is 35 km from Hotel Gotthard. The nearest airport is Zurich Airport, 37 km from the accommodation.
Pros: Just location near Brugg station
Cons: - Hotel very old & hot - Nothing inside room only 2 bed - small room & really bad cleaning maid. She knocked my door over 5 times even i told her im gonna check out now. Too rude! - Many better hotel around with same pay - Never back again for sure!
Pros: Calm and clean place. Has a restaurant downstairs.
Pros: Clean comfortable bedding Able to make it dark
Cons: You can hear the neighbors and everyone extremely well There was a strong cigarette smell at the entrance through the restaurant that pulls up to the first floor
Located in Suhr, Hotel Baeren is in the business district, within a 5-minute drive of Suhr Museum and Aargauer Kunsthaus. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. This hotel has 3 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Pros: Friendliness of personal
Cons: The room was tiny! I think the smallest room I has in the last 20 years I had! Luckily my dog was not with me (notwithstanding this was foreseen and also requested). Correct that I requested also a parking place but the Hotel didn‘t need to do anything, I found a place and they eben didn‘t asked. However they should have advised that at 4 am Street working started on Sunday Morning!!!! So loudly that I nearly gelt out of bed! And the exit the Main roads was closed! I had to leave at 5:20 and there was no deviation no indicazioni at all!!!!! Cannot tell you how many they and error easy I had to do intim I going a way out!!!! Therefore I came to late for my appointment at 5:30 at the Show!!!! Also the foreseen additional costs of 50 francs per dog per night on top of 160 Frans per Night for no extra service for the dog at (Even no sufficient place for a Kennel in this small room) all is close to ‚rubbery‘ .... not acceptable at all! So glad that my dog was not with me!
Pros: Hotel with most helpful staff at a great location to visit Aarau (train 1min away). Also enjoyed the breakfast.
