Pros: Friendly staff - I felt very welcomed here. Great sauna and relaxation rooms. The location is good to stay for a few nights and explore nearby lakes and mountains. Koenigssee that is 30 min drive from the hotel is a jewel and must-see. Great breakfast and the views from the hotel are second to none! The only thing I wished is staying here for more nights. 1 night was not enough :) Book the entire weekend here folks!
Cons: No fridge in the room. No WIFI.
Pros: huge selection
Cons: wi fi
Pros: Everything was good
Pros: The surrounding is great.
Cons: It was a "Superior" room. Well, I have other ideas on a Superior room. The balcony was above the terrace of the restaurant so it is not quiet. No wifi in room and the registration process for wifi at other places (in house) is too complicated. (asks for a username not provided in advance - no free picking of it) Mobilnet is not an option since the surrounding mountains reduces the signal. (Of course this part is not the place's fault)
Pros: Just perfect!
Pros: Very welcoming and helpful staff. The room was excellent, with a spectacular mountain view, and the sound of the stream rushing through the valley below the hotel. The hotel was outstanding in catering for my special dietary requirements, and it was easy to arrange this in advance. The restaurant was excellent. I felt very welcome at this hotel and enjoyed my stay.
Pros: The hotel is extremely cute, in wood-traditional style, with a very confortable bed , nice view of the mountains, very good breakfast, nice staff and free parking area. They also gave robe and towels to enjoy the sauna and the "relaxing" area.
Cons: Just 2 little things: It would be nice if there was a fridge in the room and if the restaurant was open till later (they serve dinner only till 20h30).
Pros: Location Staff Cleanness Viewing
Pros: Fabulous breakfast, beautiful view, lovely staff. This is the second time we stayed in this hotel, we will surely come again.
Pros: We liked very much the traditional architecture , decorations , flowers, the location. The team was very helpful and the food very tasty. At last, but not last, the apple strudel was a dream :)
Cons: We really missed air conditioning - we travelled in the most hot period of the summer.

Pros: Friendly authentic atmosphere and location
Pros: We had a really nice big room. Felt very cozy and had wonderful views overlooking snowy mountains. The food was nice but a bit too pricey. Breakfast was very delicious. Staff was helpful and nice.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Friendly staff!
Cons: Looks a bit better on the pictures than "live".
Pros: The male waiter who tries very hard. He is friendly and competent. We had been going to restaurant with a large group for a couple of years before this trip and had enjoyed him. The prices are reasonable in the restaurant. The hotel prices are low but again, there are places with similar prices where you feel welcome.
Cons: No Bavarian hospitality here! The staff were surly and abrupt. The breakfasts looked adequate but not fresh. Rooms were not cleaned during stay and no new towels (said it was because of dog - but they didn't knock or ask when we would take dog out, like at other hotels) The room incredibly hot and radiator couldn't change much. Rooms are old, tiles cracked in bathroom and toilet at a slant! Walls are thin and you can hear everything in next room. The family room configured very oddly, small, and very dated. Bunk beds are too hard while normal beds overly soft. In the winter, it's hard to manoeuvre in with boots, jackets, etc. Must always wait for someone if you need help at reception. At checkin and checkout, needed to wait until someone came. The restaurant is OK and the male waiter is the friendliest person in the whole hotel. On whole, food is fine (except the Spinat knödel) but you can find much better food nearby. It snowed a tremendous amount while we were there but they didn't plow enough. He really tired to plow around the cars in the morning but by evening it was hard to park a car in the few spaces available. At the end of the stay, I gave feedback and said we probably would not stay again because they didn't even try to make our stay nice... She said "I hope I never see you again"
Pros: Neat apartment, easy checkin and good breakfast
Pros: Location was great, food was very good. Hotel staff are all very nice.
Cons: Noisy at night due to proximity to the main road.
Pros: Very frendly and helpful staff. Great location easy to explore the area and direct bus to Salzburg. The restaurant was ok, delicious traditional dishes! Great, thank you!
Pros: Good Internet speed, good choice of home made jam in the morning
Cons: Pictures don’t show, how old the room furniture and the bathrooms are. Hotel is right beside a really busy road with a lot of traffic already from 6 am until late in the night. Despite non-smoking rooms, the smell of cigarettes is all over the place as is gets in through the open doors, also during breakfast and dinner. No drying room available, quite difficult to dry wet hiking clothes and boots. Quite a lot of money for that little luxury.
Pros: Very nice place, and nice host. We highly recommend this place. Their tablet-sightseeing solution are brilliant and inspiring.
