The very high standard overall, cleanliness, welcome, location and generous breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend. Ground floor room overlooks shared patio/grounds - blinds or nets would ensure privacy.
The rooms do have a very high standard (compered to price) and the staf is very friendly.
Excellent clean well presented hotel, superb ammenities and really friendly Owner/Manager.
Friendly staff, quality accommodation and excellent location. The room was lovely and the owner was very helpful (even gave us a lift to a restaurant). Will certainly return to this hotel.
Excellent hotel. No food on Sunday evening but host will recommend places close at hand. Superb breakfast served in modern room. Would recommend and use again
very welcoming, very clean and relaxed, friendly atmosphere, central to village and lake
The owners couldn't have been more helpful. The location is excellent.
The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. Breakfast was absolutely great! No Double Bed. Only Twin Beds for 2!
Easy to find,modern,staff very friendly.
Very helpful staff, excellent food and service, nice accessible location, quiet area. No difficulties with returning late from the Spa racetrack. Main language spoken in the hotel was german, staff coped very well with our limited german and most spoke very good english
The quality of furnishings and fittings was very high. The set dinner was extremely good and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We would happily return. The hotel was an excelelnt overnight stop on our way to southern Germany
Furnishings and decorations of my suite (holiday flat). Owner of the flat, very kind and well-mannered. Breakfast room is a sort of candy. Delicious cuisine. Silence and tranquillity. Pity this nice hotel has a so very small garden.
This is a very nice, orderly organized and decent hotel. The staf was friendly and serving promptly. Room/bathroom was fine - all other facilities are wunderfull with a mix of old school wood and proper design. The silence at night is amazing. There is no shower in the bathroom and the bed could have been better - but no real complaints.
no shower curtain
swimming pool & sauna. food.
I liked the ambiance, quietness and the wonderful swimming pool area. I received an update for a better room without asking for. The temperature in the sauna area was a little bit cold, not in the sauna itself.
Wonderful owners/staff. We had missing luggage and staff was very helpful, even with language barrier, in helping us with phone numbers, etc. Large room/suite in guesthouse down the street. Excellent restaurant
Superb hospitality...Finest facilities...Delicious food...very clean...Just Excellent!!
Personnel were pleasant and very willing to help. The delux room had an amazing panoramic window; there are walks starting right outside the hotel although the senery was not too impressive. gastronomic dinner. Gosh! We paid 45 euros per person - quite pricy. The volume of food was enough to feed 3 people but unfortunately, we could not taste anything gastronomic about it. Food was fresh but unimpressive and did not justify the price. We ate much better the following day at the restaurant just outside the center, for half the price (called Bruls???). In addition, it took 3,5 hours - too long even if you are enjoying the food; Bathroom was dated and did not have heating, it had a portable electric heater.
Friendly staff, perfect breakfast.
A good breakfast and friendly service during the breakfast, Beautiful environment Our reception was less than friendly as was our check out. The room itself was average but ok. However the room we were allocated the Bathroom was tiny. There was a bath but being quite tall I could hardly fit and even though there was a shower attachment with the slanted rood only a child would be able to stand in the bath.
Nice personnel, no nonsense room The hotel is somewhat outdated w.r.t. its facilities (like a 10€ per hour internet access). But everything is functional
friendly, accommodating staff on reception
- the owner was very friendly and even gave us a room of a higher category. - the breakfast was very good - the restaurant was not what it seemed to be from the outside. Much too expensive and at an inadequate quality
Friendly welcome, ambience, cleanliness, ease for car parking
Great location. Took our mountain bikes with us en drove around the lake with the kids. Afterwards we could lock the bikes in the hotel's garage for free. Really nice complete, fresh, all choices, all you can eat breakfast buffet. Very friendly reception, first in English, then in Dutch. The terrace / cafe only opens at 16u00. Around the whole lake we only past one terrace / cafe.
Just one night. In the morning a nice walking no nothing
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, and we had a wonderfull stay. The lady of the house is extremely friendly and helpfull. She made our stay very comfortable. Whisky, her dog, is adorable!!! We certainly recommend this hotel!!!
Very good value for money, very nice room and very clean and excellent restaurant!
Nice classy rooms. Lovely swimming pool with nice temperature. Sauna. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Value for money.
Friendly owners and staff. Didn't have wireless internet in the room.
We stopped at this hotel on the way home from holiday. The beds were comfortable and the room was well-maintained and equipped with good quality furniture and fittings etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was OK. Not the cheapest option for an overnight stop, but worth considering if the budget will stretch.
The breakefast and the staff
Central position in town; friendly staff Relatively expensive; coffee at breakfast comes too slowly ;-), no hairdryer in room, smoking was allowed in hotel
Very clean, excellent location with friendly staff. Hotel has available a lot of materials for activities in the area.Very nice swimming pool and sauna for relaxing after good walk or cycling. The prices for using steam room and jacuzzi could be written in the hotel guide.
The Hotel was friendly and efficient providing excellent service.
The hotel is not far located from our company. You feel at ease. no complaints
The personal was very frindly.
People were very friendly. The room was rather small, clean and like the total hotel of a particular old fashioned home style. A warm difference with the cold, clean style of to days modern hotels. The diner was excellent and reasonably priced. Beautifull surroundings. Friendly staff, typical family runned place.
very good service
Lovely atmosphere and very nice staff
Very relaxing, welcoming, comfortable small hotel in an exceptionally beautiful setting with ponds, garden, statues, etc. Quiet and ideal for a weekend break and particularly suitable for older couples rather than families. We certainly intend to return when next passing through Belgium.
Within walking distance of St. Vith but with a country feel Ideal position and service for our dog Would definitely recommend the hotel for an superb country break
The location is lovely. The hotel is situated in in a peaceful pine encircled oasis next to 2 small fishing lakes. We arrived in early spring when few plants were in leaf or bloom but it was still very pleasant to enjoy a drink on the terrace. The restaurant is good with dishes well presented and served by accomodating staff. Our room was supposedly for 4 people but we were shocked by the state of it. It was dark and smelly, the double bed was a sofabed and the shower attachment didn't work so you had to shower holding onto the shower rose. It was years away from the romantic room with four poster bed which we saw in the marketing materials. The evening meal and wine were quite expensive in relation to the quality - I've eaten much better for the price in the more cosmopolitan parts of Belgium. Although from an outstanding year I found the best wine on the menu disappointing (probably due to poor cellaring). Breakfast was rather basic after the efforts made at dinner.
I liked everything. Very cosy and romantic. Also the food was excelent.
The extremely friendly staff, the restaurant
I loved the appearance of the hotel, the dining area, the rooms, and the lovely landscaping. The room was a good size and very comfortable. It was a bit difficult to use the Internet. I had to borrow a special device (which worked great, by the way), but I couldn't do it from my room.
I stayed there before in 2000 and enjoyed it then. I wanted to take my wife to enjoy the food, location and hospitality, even though it was just a 1 night stopover. It was just as good this time.
The hotel staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful thoughout. The hotel has been renovated with very good design style while remaining sober.
The location. The atmosphere. One small thing, the room we had only had a bath tub, did not have a shower. I do not know if all rooms are like this, but for future reference when making reservation ask for a shower if you prefer to shower.
Pool and Spa excellent Location 1.5km to closest little town. Lake empty. Waiter very slow.
We received a very warm welcome from the charming proprietors. The hotel is small, cosy and well appointed, but not grand. The location is very pretty, and convenient for exploring the Eifel, which was our purpose. The food, no choice, was very good. The restaurant was closed one night per week. Not a disaster, but a little odd in a residential hotel out in the country.
magnificent food, friendly owners, perfect wellness massage... to many flies in the hotel
very personal service, wonderful set meal, really delightful
kindness and helfulness of staff no à la carte menu
We did not get the room we expected. The hotel has only got a few refurbished suite rooms as pictured on the website, but the classic rooms are very old and dull, old wallpaper, old pictures on the wall, very old bathroom, twin beds and no double beds.
An excellent hotel. Very good kitchen. Good rooms. Nice playground / swimming pool / river for children. Immediate access to biking and hiking trails. In short, excellent place.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Owner was very attentive to our needs and ensured a very happy and enjoyable stay. We will return if at all possible and will recommend to our family and friends
service and food excellant
Very pleasant and welcoming manager and other staff. We liked it very much. It was slightly more remote than I had previously perceived and in fact is in the hamlet of Lascheid rather than in Burg Reuland, as expected. But after initial surprise this was not a problem.
Location was very pretty We arrived at 20:30 and could not get an evening meal
The location was ideal for a very quite relaxing time. It is situated in an area which is ideal if you wish to travel by car and visit many sights. We managed to stay at the hotel on a special summer rate. If you stay at the normal rate the standard of the hotel is below average.
The room was very comfortable and quickly cleaned. The staff were very friendly and the food was top class. An excellent location for walking and touring generally.
Good location for where we wanted to visit. Good quality facilities. Owner/manager? helpful. Plenty of parking.
Good location. Bathrooms were very small. Strange bedhead with lights that were of no use. Overall musty smell pervaded the hotel.
nice clean room with a very nice shower, excellent food, idyllic location sauna and jacuzzi not open after dinner, early dinner
Dinner was superb! Considering the price, breakfast was below expectation.
Food at the hotel was good, staff friendly, and rooms reasonably comforatble Jacuzzi and sauna in hotel had an additional charge of 10 euro for just half an hour!
Quiet location in a beautiful landscape, good meals, friendly female innkeeper Double-bed inconvenient and separated by a hard shelf, tight bathroom, bad towels, unfriendly male innkeeper. Acceptable for some nights but definitively not a 4* hotel.
Attractive location. Very good food. Comfortable room.
Dinner and breakfast were very good. The 2 seperated beds . The shower was not comfortable . No aurconditioning
Balcony and view Bed a bit low. Shower a bit small
Ideal base for visiting the Ardennes in Belgium and Luxembourg (and some interesting German cities, such asTrier). The 4-star ranking appears really exaggerated. Its looks like a clean, recently refurbished 3* star hotel. Unfortunately, the bed was horrible and the pillows particularly uncomfortable. The "double bed" is in fact two single beds (with seperate mattresses). Also, the village where the hotel is located, Ouden, turned out to be quite uninteresting, even from the countryside point-of-view.
The food was excellent, well prepared and delightfully served. We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary and the ambiance was just perfect. As I am not a great wine aficionado I asked the staff to serve their selections and it really worked out nice. I would recommend this chef and this hotel to anyone!
Not many places to eat in the area and the hotel dinner was overpriced.
Truly outstanding meals and very original menus! Excellent service and very friendly. One of our best meals in some years we will go again. No.
Position ,plenty of local information. We were given an upgraded room, much bigger .Staff seemed very well trained.lovely bathroom. breakfast did not start until 8:30,fine for gourmet but if passing through,no good, we were offered voucher for the local bakery. Our .upgraded room was lovely(furnishings etc) but very noisy and very hot.For a gourmet experience we are sure it is great, to stay overnight en route it is not.
realy nice people, excellent breakfast
I have travelled many places, seen and lived quite a wide range of hotel accommodation worldwide and the experience I had to undergo at this place was without doubt the worst ever in my life to date. Albeit the hotel as such being pretty much ok (though a suite should have a king sized bed instead of two smaller units + one expects shampoo to be present in the bathroom) for a rather modest and rural place as Weywertz, the real and 'beyond common sense and belief' troublesome issue is the extremely (customer)unfriendly, almost dictatorial attitude of the hosts, a couple of ageing rural 'chiefs' (M/F) who's main goal in life seems to be to make their 'paying' guests to fully obey -at all times-their micro-style, narrow minded housekeeping rules 1. No shampoo, 2. Extreme customer unfriendly and utmost 'arrogant' behavior of the hosts (couple M/F), 3. Stifling 'army style' micro-‘housekeeeping’ rules, 4. When kindly requested no flex whatsoever when it comes to dining in the hotel's restaurant, 5. No flex whatsoever when one wants to be seated elsewhere in the resto during breakfast, 6. When requested no flex whatsoever in terms of beds (Suite with separate beds??), 7. No CCard/bancontact/debit card payment facilities (three star hotel and we are 2010 not - so?)
Nice hotel, nothing special, and close to the circuit of Francorchamps! Our room was quite noisy, just above the kitchen and restaurant.
I liked very much the food. It was very nice and well-prepared. It was not cheap but still fair. I think the bed could have been better.
Not good not bad. Value for money. I would come back. Not friendly staff. Room old, but clean (which is most important)
Very good food Food a bit pricey
The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Very clean and the owners were very nice. A little difficult to find.
We stayed at the Lindenhof for three nights during the Belgian grand prix weekend. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and altogether pleasant. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. I would recommend this for visitors to the Spa Francorchamps circuit, as the journey is relatively straightforward.
Hotel owners very friendly. Food was great. Room very spacious and the bathroom was particularly nice. Always very clean. Don't try contacting the hotel by email as you will get no response. Otherwise the stay was great and I would highly recommend this hotel.
Quiet village. Nice nature environment. Room large enough. Good breakfast. Any similarity between the photo of the room in the webpage and the real rooms is purely coincidence. The real rooms are much simpler and modest.
Spacious A frame bungalow and quiet location
Great location, value, and the apartment was excellent. Parking fees were high.
All I can say is that I loved it. Food was expensive for the lobby sitting area for dinner.
Very relaxing as we could come back in the afternoon after a heavy program of touring the Bulge battle areas Poor wi-fi
Very helpfull staff, clean room/pool/surroundings. Very nice hotel, I would recommend this. Shower head pressure in room was to weak, difficult to control hot water in the shower.
This hotel meets anybody's requirement, from Family and Budget to Business travellers. Relatively cheap in price we strongly recommend this place. There were no bad points about this hotel, just all Positive !
the area around the hotel the blankets stink, too small room,"poor '' breakfast for 4* hotel
wonderful location, helpful and courteous staff, clean facilities
Hotel staff were very kind and always give service with smile. One morning we were late for breakfast and the staff were kind enough to reserve a table for us with food. Swimming pool room were too hot and stuffy with a weird scent. There was no curtain or a door in our bath door so if you come with families it is a bit weird.
we would have liked some tea/coffee making facilities in the room
location not far from circuit Francorchamps very small and not lively bar. More a hotel for elderly people
Food standard was very high
Room was comfortable; plenty of free parking space The staff were not friendly; especially the unsmiling receptionist
Very good restaurant. Bar shut very early on occasions.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent parking facilities.
Pleasant personal service. Nothing.
Breakfast and dinner Cant think of any.
Very clean room. Excellent shower They were building large house next door. We asked hostess where we could eat. She said we'd have to go back to the town. We asked whta bout the village? She said- all closed Monday and Tuesday. As it happens the cafe in the village was opne and we had ameal there..
Welomemed very well as I could not speek French.Good food and service. Bed too small,no air conditioning very hot even with both window and doors open, lighting was like a heat lamp and not enough,
Good place to stay for several days in an ideal envirnment to relax and to enjoy nature and a bit of biking and hiking. They servve a good meal and the restaurant oposite the hotel is execellent anbd close to a micheline star for an very accepatble price It would be welcomed of they had protection against mosquitos in the windows so we could let some fresh air in the room during the warm nights.
