Palazzo Montalbano is a grand 4-suite bed and breakfast in the heart of Scicli, a UNESCO World Heritage Baroque town in southeast Sicily. We recently refurbished the Palazzo in the original Sicilian Baroque style from the late 18th century with beautiful antique furnishings. We have added luxurious modern touches such as high-end toiletries, large comfy beds and modern ensuite bathrooms. If you stay at our palace you really will feel like royalty and get a taste of old Sicily. Our bed and breakfast suites start from €120 per night and accommodate 1-4 people in each. Two of the suites have interconnected bedrooms that sleep two extra people and one suite is a mini apartment with its own eat-in kitchen. As part of your stay you will have access to a grand communal lounge and private dining terrace where you can enjoy your sumptuous breakfast on warm days or a glass of Prosecco on balmy evenings. Couples and families can book one suite or groups can book more. The four suites sleep up to 12 people. Palazzo Montalbano has been in the family for centuries, and is at the heart of Scicli, a chic town that has some of the best restaurants and bars of the area. And of course it is the place where The Inspector Montalbano (the novelist got the name from us!) works and lives. The beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean are 5km away to enjoy during the day before you return to our historic sleepy town to enjoy your evenings. Scicli is the ideal location to explore the rest of the Southern part of Sicily: Syracuse, Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Agrigento. and participate in lots of activities like cooking, wine tasting, hiking, cycling, surfing, kite surfing. We can help you book all the things you would like to do in Sicily. Renting a car would give you flexibility but we can organize all local transfers and airport transfers too.
