Good location. Large room. That's all! Staff unfriendly and unhelpful ( apart from Reception Manageress). Service very poor. Room shabby.Every day something missing when room serviced e.g no hand towels, bath mat, tea & milk
Very good hotel, room excellent, food ok, good position. poor service in dining room. Not a great choice of food.
the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was fabulous. The room was clean. AND WE REALLY LIKED HAVING A DOUBLE BED INSTEAD OF TWINS. view from window
A reasonable cost for that time of the year. The staff are unfriendly The room is very basic and small
The hotel is very good for short stay. Clean and nice, friendly staff. Small rooms but really very clean with everything necessery.
Nice town and central location No car parking as stated in details.
it's in netanya, and the toilet is OK, not very far away from the sea. the view is what you need. in meditereanean countries, I think carpet is not a very good choise, especially that's the carpet that never clean and feel dusty for years. and the furniture and decoration also seems shabby and old. the hotel management seems not so flexible in customers need, all they care is money.
Going down to the beach; eating at the many nearby restaurants; strolling into city centre for relaxing and shopping and sitting in cafes.
It's relatively close to the beach and the shopping area. Free public parking spaces nearby. The toilet is flooded everytime after shower. Breakfast could be better.
It was very close to the elevator which takes you down to the beach in Natanya. It was a great value for its location, which is near the beach and independence square with its restaurants. It's also 2 blocks from my sister's apt. the elevator stops between floor landings. This means you have to lug your suitcases up a half a flight of stairs to the elevator and then down a half a flight to your room...bizarre!!
It was comfortable, the staff accommodating and pleasant The breakfast was rather simple, and the scrambled eggs were left to cool off
Great location. Staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. Especially the front desk.
My first stay at this Dan Hotel. While the hotel lobby, public areas and rooms are a bit dark and dated, it is a well-run facility with good staff and attention to detail. All areas as well as the room were well maintained and clean. The staff was very helpful with driving directions and well informed as to area sights. For the immediate area around and near Caesaria this is a great hotel. On the golf course and a great looking pool area. All very quiet and relaxing. Ours was a short stay as we were up and out very early in the morning for the airport. Nice and quiet!
Breakfast was beautifully served and complete. Room was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub.
The food in the dining room was excellent although overpriced. The hotel has no elevator so we had to climb, with heavy suitcases, 2 floors from the road to the front desk and another 3 full flights to the room! Not the kind of adventure you will enjoy. Five flights everytime we needed something from the car or left the hotel for meals. The shower had no lip to prevent water from flooding the entire bathroom, very tight fit in the bathroom. No tub. No clean towels on second day. Ants were marching all over the bathroom and maybe more. No microwave. Breakfast was the usual Israeli salads and yogurt. Internet in hotel cost outrageous but there is a free internet cafe in town.
The location. Some of the staff were very nice, some a little less so
Highly recommended! European-style family hotel. The view from the breakfast terrace is incredible - we had a relaxing 2 hour breakfast overlooking the seacoast with gentle harp music piped in the background, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were simple but spacious and comfortable and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The reception closes at 9:30 pm and is replaced by a combination lock, so contact them in advance if you plan to check in late at night. We didn't mind, but there are steps up to the hotel and also inside - so not for the the physically-challenged. There were families with strollers who seemed fine with it.
It was interesting to somewhere used by 'locals' instead of an 'International Nothing' Hotel. Position was good for visiting the town and Caeasaria if one has a car. View was super. It was certainly a 'change'- and, for all its faults- we enjoyed our stay. Quite a nice and very acceptable breakfast. Steps!!!!! Up to the Hotel itself, up to our room on the third floor- they were helpful carrying bags but, in the heat.... no joke.... they need elevators desperately. The room was very spartan and a small. Its a small town and, as the Hotel was a couple of kilometres from the centre- dead at night and a bit hard t find.
Near the beach and shops. hotel needs updating - very shabby.
The view was good and its location. Hotel would suit a low budget family. The plastic tablecloths, dirty window ledges in the dining room and scale covered shabbat urn were disgusting. All these things could be attended to with little expense. The room and corridor carpets need a good 'soap' clean
Sea view -
just the location family
Room and refrigerator were dirty. (with bugs). Breakfast and location are very good. The hotel needs "renewal works" .
excellent staff and great location, free internet in lobby a little outdated
The hotel has very good location, near with a lift to the beach and city center. The staff of the hotel were very nice!!!
wonderful helpful staff, 24 hour hot drinks, beautiful room, clean
Very good Hotel for money! The location and staff were very good. Very good location - in the very center of Netanya! Very good breakfast is provided, fresh and testy. Thank`s a lot to Mr.Baloulou Ephraim-The restaurant manager, Ora-The tourist manager. The sea absolutely nearby. Coffee, tea, water - all the day! Family hotel! Very kind relation. Очень долго лифт ждали все время, приходилось пешком ходить.
Very good breakfast is provided, fresh and testy. Included in the price for the room… none
It was conveniently situated in Netanya, near the square and the beach. Transport faciltiies by train and bus were good also. We were cheated by a taxi driver who took us to the train station and gave us change witwh a dud 50 shekel note.
staff were very good in supplying extra hangers and towels people smoking in front area of main entrance
we particullarly like the friendly atmosphere which is generated by the staff and the reception and restuarant staff It would be very helpful if a recepticle was placed on eavh table in the dining room at breakfast so you could place empty butter packs used tea bahs etc
The staff was very straightforward and friendly. They let us stay an extra hour without any problem. We at the last 30 minutes of breakfast but other people came much later and noone gave them a hard time. It was nice how relaxed everyone was. The place was beautiful, great location, modestly designed (which I find tasteful) and the food was great.
Hotel was clean, the staff were very helpful & our stay was most pleasant. Thank you
Wonderful view from the windows: we could see and hear the sea.
Location, dining room staff In desperate need of overall renovation
Clean well located
The room had a beautifull view on the Mediterranean Sea. The bed was OK and the breakfast was OK, but not very luxury The hotel could use some redecoration
i liked the location near the beach and near city center. the promenade was nice. small parking and no security.
good breakfast, very closer to the beach small bath rooms two small beds together instead of one queen bed
There are only three reasons to stay at this hotel: beach, beach and beach. there really is nothing else to recommend it. You can take the escalator to the beach, and the place to rent jet skis, kayaks, etc is right there. Thankfully, I see some new hotels are being built in the area, so this one is going to have to be forced to compete. The rooms were furnished with furniture 40+ years old, the breakfast food was the absolutely worst I have ever eaten in Israel -- of the poorest quality imaginable, and some of it rotten (eggs). There are no amenities. Some of the staff really tried very hard -- the dining room manager/waiter in the Residence Beach (hotel without the reception desk) was very accommodating. On the other hand, the head of reception -- Duke -- was nasty, sarcastic, immature, and started complaining about me to other hotel reception staff in front of me. How this guy got his job I have no idea. What he was making a big deal about was that I had been "upgraded" which meant a smaller balcony, when a larger balcony was important to me.
renovated bathroom, view
.First room we were given was filthy floor was in poor condition air conditioning was broken, no soap or shampoo, we heard phone conversations from adjacent rooms. This would qualify for a minus 3 stars. Second room was slightly better at least the air conditioning worked. If you are rally desperate sleep in your car.
