5.8 Okay
Pros: Staffs are well behaved
Cons: They don't have any restaurant and we booked a room with extra price...it was supposed to be pool facing but they gave a room which is not pool facing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, always ready to help. The rooms are big and fully equipped.
Cons: The repair works in the cafe nearby disturbed a bit.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great , they renovated the Beach Restaurant just in time for my arrival, LOL; It used to be called Coconut Grove and Jermaine is still the best!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in one of the cottage with my daughter and boyfriend. We loved being able to walk out of our cottage and barefoot to the beach.....location...location..location. We traveled around the island a bit in search of other beaches, but we loved our beach. Dickinson's Bay... beautiful calm from sunrise to the magnificent sunsets each evening outside our door. Thank you for a relaxing stay. NYC
Cons: The music from the coconut grove restaurant became a bit annoying. It started some mornings at 7:00 am until 10.00 pm. They could face the huge speaker away from the cottages and to the other side.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent accomodation and location. Well kept in nice garden, next to the beach. Very friendly staff, early check-in no problem. Quiet location (off season).
Cons: Beach area belonging to Buccaneer beach a bit small, but left and right on beach a lot of alternative locations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was wonderful. The staff were super nice, a feeling of comfort and friendliness is all around, you get to know the staff also which just feels homey and comfortable. They did everything to make sure I had a good stay, even answered all kinds of stupid questions I had (I was travelling alone, sometimes it's possible that I just wanted to talk). To me, this was a better place to be than in an all incl. resort. Also, as someone mentioned here in the reviews, the rooms look SO much better than they do on the pictures, very well kept and super clean everywhere! The beach front was cozy. There are some restaurants/bars around, but also a huge supermarket not so far from it. I think a taxi was around 12 USD to go to it and shop, but a walk is also not bad at all. Takes around 20-30 minutes each way. St John's is also not far, not sure how much a taxi takes, but I took a local bus for 3 EC and was great (You just have to wait for the bus and get lucky). Highly recommend this place.
Cons: Right now there is construction work right next to it, it's not so bad with the noise, and it should be done very soon. This is not a minus, just a note :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quaint place, the staff from the maid to the manager were the friendliest, most helpful staff of anywhere we’ve ever stayed.
Cons: That the restaurant next door was being torn down and loud construction. It will be great as soon as they rebuild the restaurant, no restaurants nearby, you have to taxi everywhere unless you have a car.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff are lovely especially Oscar and receptionists. Lovely gardens with orchids grafted into palm trees. Humming birds. Effective air conditioning and spacious clean cottage/room. Beach beds. Free ice. The whole place is quiet and peaceful.
Cons: The building works next door. Lack of eating places in close walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and comfortable- I will return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious accommodation set in beautifully kept gardens. Right on the beach with plenty of loungers. A perfect spot for viewing the sunset each evening! Great pool and a BBQ area that you could reserve. Staff were very helpful and went out off their way to make our stay more enjoyable- the guy looking after the beach loungers even returning my camera to me when I left it on the beach!
Cons: It was all perfect!

7.0 Good
Pros: Wonderful location
Cons: Dining room buffet with birds allowed to peck on the food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a (Brit) family owned resort and they are very hands on - Director flies out very regularly to check everything is just right. The results show, and by good comparison with the big corporate chain resorts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff could not be more friendly or helpful! Fabulous place and incredibly well run
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful garden ,nice views, Tranquility with style. Also it’s still a high class family hotel! A lot of upper class hotels in Antigua are boring “adults only” hotels in the meanwhile . So,even when i‘m alone travelling ,I would prefer such a normal nice atmosphere. Breakfast was very good!
Cons: At the front desk ,Alicia was incompetent and unfriendly. When I asked for a room ,she told me ,the hotel is full. I used wifi from the hotel to book than my room there via booking com... Afterwards she let me obviously waiting a long time until I got the room. When I asked her if there is a welcome drink offer ,like usually everywhere in Antigua ,she told me „off course“ But she didn’t do anything, that i get something to drink... Kind of rude!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were outstanding. Cleanliness was top notch. My daughter and I do not drink, so were on the bed/breakfast plan which does not allow for lighter less expensive dining. I would suggest a revamp of the menu and more availability of less expensive lighter food with more of American options.
Cons: Menu and cost of food if you are not on all inclusive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, the staff and the ambiance. Absolutely perfect size. Staff friendly and professional beyond bounds. Commend staff members Bella, Derah, TJ and Tario John the head gardiner was wonderful
Cons: Suggestion for the future ... avoid using so many plastic water bottles. Supply visitors with a recyclable water bottle that is branded and have water coolers around to fill up during the day
4.3 Okay
Cons: Cove Restaurant Food was bland and tasteless for this level of establishment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They are very kind and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals were great!!! Especially the grilled eggplant!!!! Beds were great also !!!
Cons: I didn’t like that we were ONLY there 8 DAYS!!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff and service were excellent in a very warm and friendly way
Cons: Wi-fi was only good in main areas, poor in the rooms

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cecilia is an AMAZING cook! She is a strong believer in the slow foods movement, and her food is absolutely wonderful! Her sourdough bread was so delicious, and her pancakes were amazing. Definitely eat here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cecilia is a wonderful host! The property is gorgeous, and incredibly clean. It felt like a home away from home! The room was very large, and because the property is secluded, it was very quiet at night. I also enjoyed that the Blue Bay is located away from the areas where tourists congregate. All in all, an amazing week in a beautiful bed and breakfast!
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: They were very engaging in any conversations and help and attentive to any of our needs no
Cons: No beach access
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host Cecilia was amazing! The a la carte breakfasts were a perfect way to start the day. She even did a few early morning breakfasts on days we had early morning scuba diving plans. Her recommendations for restaurants and beaches were always spot on. She was also helpful with making dinner reservations and setting up tours at local attractions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the remote location and the amazing views. We had the king suite. It was comfortable and spacious. Cecilia was a lovely hostess. She helped us arrange a rental car which they delivered directly to us. We enjoyed the full use of the kitchen. There is a mini-market nearby and also a wonderful take away restaurant with homecooked meals (and also seating outside). It is walking distance from both Stingray City and Antigua Paddles but otherwise you must have a car to get around the area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great friendly helpful staff; perfect location next to the ocean; swimming pool; tasty breakfast; comfortable bed; stingray city is nearby; quiet beautiful place; close to the nature; no crime!
Cons: towels need renovation; no TV and AC (but you can sleep on open windows and read book) :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a wonderful focus on healthy, delicious and locally (either Antiguan or regional) food. So relaxing to sit by the pool on a deck chair and soak in the view, or cosy up for a read in the living room. Perfect for a rejuvenating retreat!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Simplicity of the place a home away from home with all the traditional features of a Caribbean house. Very cosy and authentic. Cecelia and her family were lovely and welcoming. I loved the natural and eco friendly approach of the B and B. Their cats were lovely, the goats too. Very peaceful.
Cons: Antigua is overpriced and expensive compared to what you can now get in other parts of the world. Value for money is therefore an issue. Whilst a lovely lovely place, it is expensive for what you get.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cecilia is an amazing host and the property is beautiful!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Blue Bay Antigua is a charming, quirky place to stay. Cecelia was so friendly and helpful! The pool and surroundings were stunning. It's best to have a four wheel drive vehicle to stay here (or use taxis) and the restaurants are a little further afield, not next-door. The pretty beach of Long Bay is close by and if we had more time we'd have done the canoe trip to explore the coastline.
Cons: Rough half-mile track to the property but it's not a problem if you have four wheel drive!
Villa Touloulou - English Harbour - Building
5
9.3 Excellent (81 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Villa Touloulou in Falmouth Harbour, you'll be on the waterfront, within a 5-minute drive of Nelson's Dockyard and Leeward Islands. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great find Villa Touloulou was! We stayed in the red passion top apartment with amazing view over the bay. The apartment is massive, bigger than our flat in London..it's clean, beautiful and has everything you need and it's perfect if you are an independent traveler who don't like big resorts. It's perfectly located at the entrance of English Harbour (the only meaningful place to stay for nightlife) and you can easily get away to the beaches on the west or the east of the island. But the best thing about Villa Touloulou is without a doubt your host Calvin. Once you meet Calvin, you will want your kids to be like him one day, or actually you will want every human being to be like him! These are just a few of the amazing things Calvin has done for us: - welcomed us with a basket of drinks and nice treats - gave us a mobile to make calls locally - after a couple of days he brought us a bottle of wine - fixed internet - helped us with our travel arrangements to Barbuda - let us checking out late (4pm) after returning from the beach before our flight - gave us plenty of good tips - smiled every minute So don't look any further. This is the best place to stay in the island!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from my room was great and with a the enclosed outdoor kitchen and huge sitting area just made for an extremely relaxing time.
Cons: I loved all about this property not a single complaint.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Calvin was lovely to deal with. He met us at the property to give us the keys. The apartment had everything we needed for a 9 night stay. It was nice to have a few supplies in the fridge & a washing machine. Great to have air con & fans in living room & bedroom. Nice balcony to enjoy the view from. Walking at fast pace we could walk to Nelson’s Dockyard or the Antigua Yacht Club in about 20 minutes.
Cons: The ceramic cooktop needs a good clean, maybe a scrap.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were exceptionally clean - with a regular maid service if required. The kitchen had a few surprise items (juice, water etc) already in stock: so we could settle in before heading off to the shop. The location was excellent, with a great view over Falmouth Harbour. On being met, Calvin gave us a quick tour of the area: recommendations for local hire car, restuarants etc. Very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were met by Calvin. He was very hospitable and helpful. Managed to sort out adapter plugs for us as we forgot them. Showed us around the area and nothing too much trouble. Fabulous views from accommodation. Very relaxing.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent room/balcony/kitchen area with nicely stocked fridge containing basics. Comfortable bed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fantastic balcony with amazing views. Very spacious. Great host. Use of bikes to get into town and explore
Cons: We absolutely loved our stay. The only slight negative was if the apartment underneath was having a late night you could hear the chairs scraping on floor as people moved around. Sounds silly but it really echoes to the top floor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect location! Wonderful view, loved having breakfast out on the patio. A quick drive to the English Harbour area and the beach. Will definitely return!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Showers did not have cold water! Also the location was not ideal and the description of the location was quite misleading!! Falmouth Harbour was a good 25+ walk.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic design!
Cons: No where to hang a bathrobe!!! As I said great design by architects but not for living in!!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. the room was bigger than I needed. I would have preferred a 1st floor but as it was just for one night, I did not ask to change. the restaurant is extremely good, and the location great and convenient to get to the marina by foot
Cons: no complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property exceeded our expectations . All the rooms come with a sea view . The rooms are impeccable , clean , comfortable . They are furnished in a contemporary manner . The room are very large . They also have a fully equipped kitchen . It is ideal for short and long stay . The Food in the main restaurant is delicious . We had sushi on one night and italian on another night . Both food was great ! The staff and the owner Mr Jef Hadeed are very welcoming , attentive and efficient . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished our holiday did not come to an end . The location of the resort is good and central . Close to a lot of restaurants and the English harbor . The resort also provides a secure parking to their clients . There is a very nice beach 10 mns walking from the resort .
Cons: Nothing ...! We thoroughly enjoyed to stay . It is not my first time or stay in the Caribbean . I stayed on other resorts . This one I rate the best so far .
7.5 Good
Pros: Impeccably clean, safe, convenient to restaurants, lovely pool.
Cons: 1) Breakfast only until 10:00 with very poor selection. 2) I slipped and fell on wet marble outside my room and staff didn’t seem to take me seriously. Some Eastern European guy who didn’t introduce himself told me to “keep flexing it”! 3) Restaurant sushi quality frighteningly poor. 4)Can be loud in the evening because of live performances.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are great! The two bedroom apartment was perfect for two couples to stay. The kitchen was superb.
Cons: For the price we paid which is expensive, but not as expensive as other hotels with similar star ratings, I think we were very satisfied.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is superb - Penthouse suite was excellent overall (but showing some areas which needed attention - painting)
Cons: We were only advised just before our holiday that the hotel restaurant and bar were closed due to 'unforeseen circumstances' On arrival we found out this was due to the hotel being empty - this was great in many ways as we had the pool to ourselves for four days
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Position was amazing.
Cons: Lighting was very dim. Difficult to read on balcony at night. Bathroom light low, difficult to see to put makeup on. Internet dreadful. Had to keep putting in password.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Love location it was perfect! Elegant Water front great view from balcony overlooking the marina also loved the extra large size of the room ! Very clean .around the clock security
Cons: Did not like that Hotel has no beach on the property a 10 min walk away down a dirt road to pigeon beach . was not offer any tour or information of what to do on the island
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. If anything could be improved it was the offering at the restaurant during the day which did not cater for light lunches.
Cons: Restaurant at lunch time
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location.
Cons: Not enough light on terrace, it was too dark to read or play games in evening.

Pros: Setting and historical buildings.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location right in the harbour with historic buildings all around. Nice friendly staff and manager, all of whom were eager to help out. Room was simple but fine. Nice bathroom.
Cons: The bed was way too firm for my tastes.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and staff and the food was good as well.
Cons: Food offered was a bit pricey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast superb Location superb
Cons: the shower facilities and air con systems need improved other than that everything is above expectations
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely period property in good location. Great pool. Great friendly staff who were always available to help.
Cons: Restaurant was good, however for value for money there are better options nearby.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location in nelson's Dockyard. Breakfast was excellent, cocktails were very good
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The setting is amazing stashing in a piece of history
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in beautiful condition and well looked after. It is a part of a UNESCO world heritage site - making it a very atmospheric and interesting place. The hotel is based over two sites, on two different sides of the harbour. On one side is the Admirals Inn and the Pillars restaurant, and the other site has the Gu powder suites and Boom restaurant. The hotel provides a shuttle boat to take guests between sites - usually driven by the lovely Cecil. We stayed on both sites - 6 days in the Admirals Inn and 3 days in the Gunpowder Suites. Both rooms were very nice and clean. The Gunpowder Suites are much more spacious and larger bathrooms with more powerful showers. The food at both restaurants was tasty - and as I am a vegetarian I was worried I might not find it easy to find food for me - but there were a variety of options. The staff were lovely - couldn’t be more helpful. They went out of their way to help us have a good holiday - organising boat trips, taking us round to a local beach on the shuttle boat.
7.0 Good
Pros: The history of the property & surrounding area The excellent museum & tidiness of the whole area
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old world charm in beautiful setting.
Cons: The restaurants were in lovely locations but very expensive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Food was great. Boom was excellent! My massage was Devine.
Cons: Wish the menu was more extensive; more options. The room had no TV and the bathroom was very small.

Nonsuch Bay Resort - Freetown - Bedroom
9
8.8 Excellent (258 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Nestled on the beach, this Freetown property is just steps from Leeward Islands and Nonsuch Bay. Brown's Bay Beach and Harmony Hall Art Gallery are also within 15 minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you step into nonsuch bay you feel relaxed. We had such a wonderful time staying, the staff are just fabulous. The suites are huge and very modern and the views of the beach and the bay are just gorgeous. Loved the water sports on offer, the food is good, I enjoyed most of the meals there. There is a guy who comes round to take drink orders, the cocktails are delicious and the bartenders even remember your favourite drink. Also good recommendation for a taxi driver to take us on a tour of the island, Richie was brilliant and also took us to Shirley Heights on the Sunday evening.
Cons: The food was good but I think breakfast is basic and could be improved. Not a problem for us but I would say the resort is a little far away from anywhere on the island so you have to get a taxi or hire car to other beaches. Also very hilly so bear in mind if you don’t like walking up hills but more of an observation than a problem for us. I think a beach bar could add to the facilities.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: As above , in particular the sailing . Food consistently good and generous with the drink and of good quality
Cons: Right out on a limb so quite isolated . Limited inclusive facilities . No spa, wellbeing classes or gym. Set on a hillside so very pretty but limited movement
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The suites were huge for two people. Our room 801 overlooked the lower pool, I suggest asking fir a room with an upper floor for a full sea view. The food and drinks were great value. the staff were excellent.
Cons: You only benefit from water sports if you stay during the week, they charge at the weekend. Everything closes down after about 9.30 and it’s quite remote.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Unspoilt location Generous rooms Good food - improved since last visit
Cons: Further development A few grumpy water sport staff Some staff shortages in restaurant at times but coped well
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff at Nonsuch Bay were amazing! Everyone knew your name and were so courteous and willing to go out of their way to meet your needs. The room was beyond expectation, and the grounds of the resort was beautiful and maintained to a very high standard.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was the issue of seaweed in the ocean (which was obviously out of the control of the hotel), but it seems that all the beaches on the East coast (which is where Nonsuch Bay is located) were affected. As such, to get the typical blue water, white sand beaches which Antigua boasts we rented a car and drove to the west side of the island. One disappointing aspect of Nonsuch Bay is how expensive taxis are at the resort, which I think should be factored into the cost, given how far it is from a lot of tourist sites.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very large well appointed rooms. Great staff. Good food. Great sailing.
Cons: Small beach and not enough shade. Not enough comfortable seating around public areas. No beach bar.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Sailing facilities were good and the food was nicer than you would expect in an all inclusive, particularly the a la carte dinner. Snorkelling on green island was fab, saw lots of turtles. Room was absolutely massive and really well equipped.
Cons: The seaweed situation at nonsuch right now is terrible. The staff are doing their absolute best, and the hourly trips to green island mean you can still get to a beach but it’s not a great view from the restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful setting allowing plenty of space for all.
Cons: Nothing.
6.5 Good
Pros: Spent the weekend kiting there and everything accommodation related was great. Clean, spacious, well set up little cottage.
Cons: The bad. Went to dinner one night, buffet was all that was offered which is a shame - usually the restaurant is excellent and actually worth the price. Not this time. The food was mediocre cafeteria quality at best, and the price was outrageous. 130 USD for two plates of rice, beans, and some chicken wings. No alcoholic drinks, no service, just the most expensive rice plate on the island. Is what it is. But I felt that the price of dinner buffet should have been mentioned before the meal and not been a surprise after.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Service was impeccable. The resort is gorgeous, well maintained and grounds are always immaculate.
Cons: There was a seaweed issue, which means we did not get to enjoy the beach onsite at all during our week stay. They tried to accommodate by providing buses to another beach, but I wasn’t very interested.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff helpful, nice accommodation but quite hilly
Cons: Nowhere to walk, beach not great for swimming

Pros: The room was very clean, everything necessary for stay provided.
Cons: We were only at the resort two nights, it appeared well run, so have no complaints.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms, clean , great staff
Cons: No issues
6.8 Good
Pros: convenience,
Cons: The Villa had workers doing work on the property every day for the entire week except wednesday. Even though the work was exterior work, the hammering/ painting and the work men being in a space that was supposed to be quiet and peaceful. No paying customer should have to endure this anywhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a one bedroom Villa, Very nice! Over looked the pool and a great view of the ocean. The property was beautiful, the beach was clean and the water a beautiful blue, close to the floating bar, water activities and places to eat and a grocery store. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking and we cooked in room a lot. Even a blender for my Pina Colada’s. The gas ran out for the stove one night. We reported it to the office and it was immediately replaced. Housekeeping was very accommodating.
Overview Reviews
Nestled on an island of 365 beaches, one for each day of the year, the hotel will steal your heart with its magnificent gardens and tropical flowers, which line a path to the clearest of aquamarine seas.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff and atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming
Cons: I was booked for the spa and after the service was done then told I had to pay and the amount was really costly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The meals were great. Liked the Japanese meal and those who served there. The friendliness of the staff. Interestingly they welcome you back and many remembered your name.
Cons: Did not play prompt attention to: Some dishes were left outside along the way with so many staff walked by without removing the dishes.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cafe de bistro, the pizza, barefoot restaurant, courtyard cafe, the big pool, the beach, the clean well maintained area, the photoshop,
Cons: The fact that because of the weather, we were unable to go snorkeling, some of the drinks were not as expected, food options for breakfast could have had more vege options, the cats
6.8 Good
Cons: Attitude of younger staff. After many Stays at this property this one was the most dissapointing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Food, staff and hospitality were good. Night entertainment was great
Cons: Bathroom in the room we stayed in needed upgraded. Tiles looked old and dirty. Mixed matched colours, a cockroach was seen in the bathroom at night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room services were excellent and the food was great
Cons: Loved everything
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room, no robes, no spirits in room. had to pay up front and stated payment would be made at the property.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: On Friday the 12th of January my finance was sat in a bar chair when a female guest walked over and struck her from behind with a glass knocking her unconscious. The incident happened just after 23:45pm. We had never seen this female before or spoke to her before. The attack was completely unprovoked. The female then left the bar and proceeded to smash more glassware and assault other guests on site. The police were called out and found the female on site. The female was around 5”6 with shorts, a tattoo on the lower leg and a vest top. My finance has sustained serious head injuries and bruising. If you have any information about this attack or witnessed it please can you contact the hotel immediately to help the police enquiry. Thank you
6.3 Good
Pros: The cats, reasonable no of restaurants and decent pool close to the beach!
Cons: Given its 6 star rating (by the resort) I would only give it 3.5 star. Took 1 hour wait to check in, our bags were ‘rifled through’ before they got to our room & overall service was incredibly slow, no pool service and difficult to get a sun lounge lounger. We only had a 3 day stay to ‘test the water’ and pleased I did would not return
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location was excellent, weather was excellent
Cons: Room was tired and in need of repair. Linens were only provided when demanded, including beach towels. Staff's outlook on service was the poorest I have experienced in 35 years through out the region. The Club level is a "fraud" in terms of adding any additional level of attentiveness. Clearly the hotel is mismanaged from the top.

Pros: Place to drop out
Cons: Incessant steel drum music
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful. The room was exactly as described and very comfortable with a wonderful sea view.
Cons: The bathroom although functional with a good walk in shower needs upgrading, not a lot of room to put toiletries in the waterfront room bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach & grounds! Very clean rooms Excellent staff : all very e& courteous. Delicious food!! Great resort! Highly recommend it!!
Cons: Lights much too dim in room ( ones hanging over beds.)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of our room located above the pool by the Tickled Turtle bar was great, quiet and secluded!! The staff were amazing. The location of the beach was great as you could snorkel right off of it. The laid back feel of the resort was great. The nightly music entertainment was also fantastic.
Cons: The fact that many days of our stay we didn’t have hot water in our shower and more than 4 nights of our stay we didn’t have water at all in the shower. Other guests also voiced they didn’t when speaking with them. To give them credit when staff were alerted they did try to fix it, however it was an on going issue in the 400 block of rooms that needs to be fixed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location . Well laid out Perfect beach with plenty of sun beds Some staff exceptionally helpful and friendly Comfortable beds
Cons: Shower was a disaster . Low power and temperature impossible to control. Some food not great often recycled in main buffet Lack of seating in main lounge area Some staff not friendly

Pros: The staff, amenities, food and event of activities. The beach and location. We met lots of return guests and we plan to be one of them also. The beautiful property landscape.
Cons: The seaweed. Its not your fault and the staff did an excellent job clearing it off the beach.

Nestled on the beach, this Mamora Bay property is within 1 mi (2 km) of Leeward Islands, Mamora Bay, and Willoughby Bay. Bat's Cave and Dow's Hill Interpretation Center are also within 3 mi (5 km).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and relaxing resort and amazing calm beach Great activities Staff is excellent
Cons: Food is OK but less impressive than the level of service of the rest of resort.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: The bed was squeaking
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and informative. Clean and comfortable room. Very good options for dining and the food was consistently good. Service was also consistently good and the concierge service at Royal Suites was excellent. Grounds are lovely and the facilities are very well-maintained, neat and clean.
Cons: While there were plenty of places to get a drink, overall the skills of the bar tenders were not up to even a modest standard. Bar keeping was very inconsistent. Some did not stock the back bar well and were often missing essential ingredients (Rose's Lime, Rye Whiskey, potato vodkas come to mind). Now I will admit to be a bit of a cocktail fanatic. If all you want is a beer, a glass of wine, or a strong rum/cream/juice concoction, you will be fine. Just don't ask for a Negroni or a properly made Manhattan with a solid-performing rye as its base.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Property and location fine
Cons: Nothing wrong with the property - most of the staff were fantastic. That said I thought the evening waiting staff at the Rainbow Gardens had an attitude problem ...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I had to pay for Internet access to my Room at $10 a day absolute rip off
Cons: The A la carte food was less than satisfactory I had to pay for Internet access to my Room at $10 a day absolute rip off
4.3 Okay
Pros: The food was amazing
Cons: The bathroom was dirty, the iron left Burt black mark on my clothes. The air dryer was dirty also the bath tub
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were polite, friendly and made our trip even more memorable. Chyralyn (Rainbow Garden), Vincent (porter), Orlando (porter) and Sabriya (Grande Suite Bar) provided us with exceptional service! The staff all round were great but these members in particular went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The hotel and the grounds are well kept, the beaches clean and the restaurants Eleven, Picolo Mondo and Coco had great food and service. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.
Cons: The in-room WiFi should be complimentary and the WiFi in communal areas should have better range. Water bottles in the rooms should be replenished each day. The Docksider restaurant should serve better food - this was a common complaint from most guests we spoke to. There needs to be more evening entertainment and more choice of water sports or at least more information as to where we could go and jet ski etc. guest services and the water sports services were unhelpful, luckily the captain of the catamaran that took us out snorkelling recommended a place to go jet skiing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyable stay at St James Club. Staff very helpful and friendly, good restaurant choices, excellent beaches, comfortable rooms
Cons: Room accessible wi-fi at an additional charge just seems like penny pinching at an all inclusive resort. Good coverage in public areas to be fair.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beaches and pool area. Some off the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Water sport options
Cons: Entertainment was poor
5.0 Okay
Cons: 1980s bathroom staff very unfriendly had to leave early and they were not at all Interested in our problem (a close bereavement) hardly any entertainment
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great beach, friendly staff, good standard of food.
Cons: Club standard rooms very tired, a refresh well over due, to neglect your lowest standard room is not the way to create a difference between club and premium rooms.

Pros: Superhelpful and professional staff, accurate pictures and great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the friendliness, helpfullness and how courteous the staff were. I loved the ease of the location;it was close tiki the beach, close tho great hiking, easy to grab publuc transportation and easy access to resturants.
Cons: My short stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the convenience and the staff was fabulous!! They hauled us up and down the steep, steep road to our room each time we needed them. The view is outstanding (that's why we needed"hauling"....we were up very high on the property.)
Cons: The room is extremely bare - in the photos there are flowers and what appears to be a full kitchen. There was no bottled water and had to purchase a case to bring up the hill. There was only enough coffee pods for two days and no condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, cream) if we wanted to cook we'd have had to purchase everything! We were able to get beach towels from the front desk and extra towels were left when we requested.
5.0 Okay
Pros: View
Cons: Reception staff very hot and cold in their attitude No drink making in room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the location, the restaurant, activities, hotel views, all of it.
Cons: A few times I had to wait to find staff to ask them to replenish the coffee supplies in the courtyard. Nice to have it available all the time though.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is ideal if Falmouth Harbour is your destination. And the rooms are quite nice with large balconies and commanding views of the harbour.
Cons: There is no restaurant, no snacks, no breakfast at all. They do have a table where a pot of coffee is made around 7AM and then ignored for the remainder of the day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location. Many nearby restaurants to explore
Cons: No pool
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super friendly and helpful, the location was great for most of the sightseeing we wanted to to and we were fortunate enough to meet locals and holidaymakers on a number of occasions which made the experience exciting. Our room was spacious and looked right onto the harbour. The Gym catered to our needs. Pigeon point beach was close, quiet and fun.
Cons: No complaints
7.5 Good
Pros: Great staff who were super welcoming . Ran a minibus down to English harbour even outside the advertised hours . Help yourself tea and coffee in reception There for sailing week so location perfect
Cons: It’s on a hill - so if you don’t want to climb get a lower room.

Cons: Our stay was perfect from customer service to comfort of accommodations with spectacular views! Couldnt have been any better!

Pros: The staff was excellent. Our waitress for lunch and breakfast was personable, efficient and fun!
Cons: It would have been nice to have milk/creamer on hand for morning coffee.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Massive room. Beautiful historic building. Far better than we expected.
Cons: Mosquitoes were troublesome and hard to spot against all the dark wood.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historic building. Clean, spare, spacious and comfortable. Continental breakfast was simple but adequate
Cons: Shower
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff with good beach and activity recommendations. Great historic building. Walking distance to several restaurants. Pigeon point - a gorgeous beach - is walking distance.
Cons: Would have loved more help in anticipating how fast some of the tours fill up and in knowing when tour reservations desks closed. I felt like some staff members were great and others seemed uncomfortable giving basic directions etc.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The studio up several narrow steps inside the room (after opening the door with a key) was beautiful and spacious, giving a nice historical feeling, especially with its polished parquet floor. Good beds. We enjoyed the location inside Nelson Dockyard. Staff at reception was very friendly.
Cons: A nightmare was the engine noise, which made the bed vibrate and turn the studio into a torture chamber for certain periods at night, Too many mosquitoes in the room and not very good light. That there is no balcony in a historical building is understandable, but there is still a problem to hang out wet bathing suits and bath towels (not provided by the hotel) to dry.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good.
Cons: On the information we received, it said breakfast included. Upon checking out they wanted to bill for the breakfast. They intended only the continental breakfast was included, not the ones we ordered. They did removed the charge. We were not told by the waitress either. But everything worked out and I was very satisfied.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can not fault anything
Cons: Our check in was delayed due to room not ready, but not a real problem

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is wonderful! If you want time-out from the world then this is the perfect place. My room was great, loved the shower with a huge window to the water and the balcony, loved the breakfast, Federica and Anna were super great. The location was great, it's true that it's a bit away from "civilization", but that's what I came there for. Also, a walk to the supermarket for example or to English Harbour is not so bad.. an hour+ walk, an enjoyable walk also. Highly recommended place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was incredible!! What an amazing find. Very happy!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view was panoramic and amazing The View from jacuzzi was beautiful Housekeeper very friendly
Cons: Could have had a fridge in room and kettle No WiFi signal in room. European sockets not Antiguan so adaptor needed changing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dolcevita was a slice of Heaven on Earth. Our caretaker by the name of Fredricka was outstanding and would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wishes to escape all worldly responsbilities and touch the rays of the sun!
Cons: There was not a thing that I would change about this place. The beds may need some updating, but other than that this place is made for royalty. I hope to be back very soon and pay my new "home" away from home a visit.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Dolcevita Cliff Resort and Spa Pros: • VIEWS!! • Inclusive breakfast • Secluded resort • Hot tub overlooking The English Harbor Breathtaking views on both sides of the resort. The view from the hot tub was by far our favorite, it over looked the English Harbor. The views every morning for breakfast were just spectacular as you could see both sides of the cliff. Federica was the only property host and she was the sweetest! She was your point of contact, cook and room service person. We were greeted with two complimentary glasses of wine. She cooked breakfast every morning which consisted of: Ham, Sausage, fresh eggs, fresh delicious fruit (pineapple, kiwi, strawberry, banana, star fruit, and melons) cereal, yogurt, toast, coffee, water or juice. There was butter and a fruit jam for your toast. The best part, it was included in the nightly price. Lunch and dinner is also available on site (additional charge). The rooms were all very private; we stayed in the Jr. Suite at the end of the hall which provided a great deal of privacy. The property was uniquely designed throughout as they had walls cut out to expose the side of the cliff. Our shower in the room had a large window where you could see the ocean and the other side was the rocky cliff behind a glass door. The bath towels were very nice and soft. The beds were extremely firm and very uncomfortable. The pillows were great and the linens were just fine. There are no TVs in the room, which is ideal if you want to unplug from the rest of the world (we did). There are also no American outlets in the rooms, which would have been nice to know prior to our arrival. The night before our departure, Federica provided us a converter. There was only ONE U.S. outlet throughout the property and it was located next to the pool on the main floor. The pool was very small, but still a nice feature to have on site. There were plenty of lounge chairs and outdoor seating available.
Cons: Cons: • Very stiff, uncomfortable beds. • European electrical outlets
6.8 Good
Pros: Its a wonderful house with fantastic views.
Cons: Its not a resort by any stretch of the imagination. Its a lovely house with a swimming pool stylishly decorated but a long way from restaurants or any facilities. You must have a hire car it takes about an hour to walk to civilization... all on unmade roads.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Frederick was a delight- very hardworking and happy to please.
Cons: Instructions of how to get there were nonexistent! Very difficult to find.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The road leading to the resort There were no signs and no one knew of the resort had ask at least 10 taxi drivers before someone knew the location
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views
Cons: Bed was really uncomfortable

Located in Willikies, this beachfront property is in a national park and within 1 mi (2 km) of Leeward Islands and Devil's Bridge. Long Bay and Nonsuch Bay are also within 10 minutes.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything the same as previous visit (5 years ago). All changes are improvements.
Cons: We don’t like bbqs so didn’t like the pool party.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the Manager for Seabreeze he’s very polite and friendly also the staff. Receptionist are lovely! At dinner they welcomed me and song happy birthday I cried! Definitely coming back
Cons: The grill and bar open and 11 and check out is at 12. They took 30 minutes just to bring the food and I asked if we could carry it to our room cause were checking out soon they said no. So we had to leave the food there. The lady was giving attitude saying there is no foil paper.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Family friendly, great choice of food and daily variety, kids club personnel was really nice
Cons: Some apartments are really far from everything and you likely need a shuttle frequently (which is a bit inconvenient)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts very good. The staff were all wonderful and the cleanliness everywhere was excellent. Thank you.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was outstanding.
Cons: The bed sucked.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort spread out over a wide area so did not feel busy at all. Units are large with plenty of storage space, lovely large bathroom and balcony. We were right next to the pool and restaurants/bar, so could hear the evening entertainment quite clearly, but as we were so tired every evening and in bed by 9pm (due to time difference), the noise did not affect our sleep in the very comfortable bed. Food was excellent and a great selection - as were the drinks at the bar. Staff were all polite and friendly.
Cons: Lack of soundproofing between bungalows so can hear all the goings on next door!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The 'All Inclusive' is such, no hidden exceptions, my needs were fulfilled - beeches, food, entertainment, fitness room, caring staff and the weather.
Cons: Too much noise in main restaurant, why do Americans have to shout when talking? Small children at the beach too noisy, some older children also noisy, why are they not in school during term time?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well planned resort, with good food and facilities. Staff very helpful
Cons: Poor wifi and service in one restaurant was slow
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the omelet station daily! While we enjoyed sight seeing, we would be happy to stay on the resort and enjoy all of the amenities!
Cons: A few supplies could have been offered near guest services in addition to the gift shop at the reception area.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good food, loved the water actives and live music.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to beach and restaurants, close to town
Cons: Everything ok just missed the restaurant which was closed for a refurb, whuch we were ore warned of.,
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and courteous.
Cons: It was confusing to find the reception office because of the construction going on. It was like a maze so they should try to make the grounds more appealing for their guests. The pool area was not very appealing because of all the bushes. There were no ammenities such as hand soap or toothpaste in the room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Close proximity to the beach. Very nice updated rooms, friendly staff.
Cons: Restaurant was closed.
6.8 Good
Pros: Room was great as always.

7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: Sharing bathroom with other guests
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Prince is a wonderful host, he can pick you up at airport and will also help you to some nice tours on the island. The guesthouse is very nice and clean, close to supermarkets and city center. I had a perfect stay in Eko Cozy Guest House.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was huuuuge. House was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a supermarket just up the road. You can easily walk to both bus stops if you want to take public transport to beaches or you can easily rent a car from the kind owner. This place is ideal for independent travelers or people on a budget. You really get a feel for the local life here yet you can go sit on a beach very easily too if you take the cheap bus. The neighborhood was safe and I felt fine as a woman traveling alone. I saw other reviewers comment that the neighborhood felt unsafe but I need to disagree. Sometimes things look rough around the edges but this is common in lots of urban areas in the Caribbean and I don’t think it should be used to measure whether or not an area is safe.
Cons: You can’t really adjust the AC and I was a bit chilly. Even with the windows closed there was a lot of street noise like loud music from cars or zooming motorcycles. It didn’t bother me but I could see how that may bother someone who isn’t used to it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Prince is an excellent host always with a smile. The room is spacious clean and the bed is the biggest and most comfortable we found in similar places in other Caribbean islands. It is a convenient located 10 minutes walk from the city centre.
Cons: It was not clear during the booking that the bathroom was shared. Breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was simple and tidy, very clean. Quiet and no noise. Was not in the greatest place but foe what was needed that didn't matter, so no complaints.
Cons: No support from the travel connections. The service is taxis were bad and unhelpful. I luckily made my own arrangements as the booked taxi never turned up.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This place is great , especially for that price! The owner Prince is super friendly and helps where he can. It's actually a small and very clean house with two rooms, a kitchen , bathroom and a nice balcony to hang out. The house is in a local area with friendly neighbours.its a 2 minute walk to the nearest supermarket or restaurant, also in 10 minutes walk you already at the market place in St. Johns, close to the cruise ship port, restaurants and tourist shopping We stayed there 4 nights and had a great time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Eko Cosy is as the name suggests, cost, very fresh and clean. The room is very much on par with what you may get at a decent hotel. It's conveniently located just on the outskirts of town. Great for the budget traveller.
Cons: Not a thing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host, Prince, was extremely helpful and also provides a taxi service which was very convenient. There is a small grocery store a few blocks away which was handy. The kitchen is complete and it's easy to make meals.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner and daughter, helpful at all times. Well situated close to town, buses and shops. Lovely big room in a house with all facilities.Wifi and netflix good.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Prince and his daughter were very good host always no hand to help they were both very friendly people
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like it but the main road is close by and could be noisy at times but not all the time

Pros: Privacy comfort location friendliness
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The villa is in the most perfect location to watch Antigua sailing week. Perfectly peaceful and quiet. Absolutely loved the villa, thoroughly enjoyed the outside shower area, perfect in the tropical climate. We spent several hours a day just sitting outside taking in the beautiful surroundings and noises of the birds and insects. Absolutely loved using the bbq area and jacuzzi area at this property, would highly recommend anyone use these facilities. The owners Mike and Shonnie were an absolute delight to speak with and nothing was too much trouble for them. Always on hand if you had a problem or question to ask. I cannot praise this villa high enough.
Cons: Parking was a tad challenging if you did not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, driveway was very steep and took some getting used to.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed. Hosts were always available. Views fantastic. Beach perfect. Spacy villa, fresh even in the hottest part of the day. Sense of security. Nearly private beach with turtles feeding a few meters away! Hosts are always open to give advice on where to go or eat.
Cons: If I was to pick something I suppose the frogs singing at night might be a small issue. We are in the tropics and nature is everywhere but if you are a light sleeper then some ear plugs can be handy! The villa is in a league above our usual affordable price range but I would repeat and probably will! You do need transport to move here and there, to buy anything or go out to eat but our hosts and the local taxi drivers are always nearby and the distances are very short and fast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Shonnie and Michael are really astonishingly kind and knowledgeable hosts. The property is spotlessly clean - unusual for Caribbean - and being a detached 1 bed villa, gives privacy with a view from the large terrace to die for! Steps and a slope down to the wonderful beach - 5 mins walk - and the calm waters and lovely sandy beach are very seldom busy. This is the very best location on the island - with lots going on in English harbour within 5 mins drive of the property.
Cons: We didn't like leaving!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful views over Galleon Beach and the harbour. The fresh breeze, sounds of the insects and wildlife. Hosts Shonnie and Michael were pleasant and interesting to talk to.
Cons: Bed was a little soft.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing stay. We stayed in three properties across Antigua and this was the best. Clean, in great condition, stunning views and very comfortable. Shonnie the host and her husband were lovely as well.
Cons: Unfortunately there isn't much in Galleon Bay so for shops, restaurants etc we needed to travel into English Harbour. It isn't far but without a car it is a bit of a trek.
