Friendly staff, excellent location to walk to everything!
All of the staff except for one woman was very helpful and friendly. You can borrow their bikes which is a great way to explore the waterfront. Ask for a room that faces the alley. Otherwise you will be subject to loud buses, cars, people yelling, and a street piano. Bring earplugs and a sleeping mask (no blackout shades) if you are a light sleeper.
Loved going to large room off lobby to have a very relaxing experience seeing the water and mountains at the same time. Was with my sister and we were able to visit Pike Street Market and the downtown several times (even in light rain) because of the hotel van amenity. was hard to get ride to ferry using the hotel van as it was on the hour schedule.
I've stayed in better economy type inns. Cool location , but way dated and a need for up dating. The price didn't match the facilities
The elevators are fast and the location is perfect for Seattle sightseeing- Space Needle and Pike Place Market are blocks away. We loved the close proximity to the best restaurants in Seattle: Lola, Dahlia Lounge, Dahlia Bakery, Etta's, Palace Kitchen, Serious Pie. The room was comfortable and large. We liked the split bathroom with bathtub/toilet on one side and sink/mirror on the other. The heater was inconsistent- when it was blowing, the room was too warm, but when it turned off the room was a bit chilly.
I was charged $16 additional parking for coming to the hotel 2 hours before check in. On top of the $30+ I was already paying for parking there.
Central location, luxury hotel, fantastic views from rooftop bar. Small 'cruise liner' sized rooms. But very nice small rooms.
new. Clean. Good location. Bellman didn't offer help with my bag. Front desk and entry are more "nightclub" than hotel. Late night menu very limited. Shampoo and conditioner smell very masculine. Seems like a bar and restaurant with a few rooms rather than hotel. The W twenty years later.
Nice hotel. Good restaurant. A little on the pricey side.
Our room was spacious and well-equipped. The design was modern and attractive. The food in the restaurant was high quality and interesting but perhaps more limited in range than you would ordinarily expect from a hotel catering for international travellers having a strong Greek/North African theme. I think the hotel should seriously consider making wi fi internet access complimentary - its ridiculous to charge ten dollars a day when you can cross the road to Starbucks and get it free when you buy at coffee. I also think they should stop importing mineral water from Scandinavia, which is contrary to their environmental aspirations.
Location, comfort, service, outstanding!!!
Nice clean hotel at an excellent location. Terrace with an excellent view. Friendly and helpful staff. This is not a dislike, just that I don't know if a map with a walking tour of restaurants (many of which are excellent in the vicinity), cutural and childrens event/sites, etc. exists. We had the general Seattle map and walked through less admirable locations trying to find all the good things in the area.
Great location, very clean rooms, and we'll maintained for an older building. Very quaint and good for travelers going sight seeing. Older building with small rooms which are still comfortable. Could use larger televisions and maybe more in suite ammenaties such as coffee.
Loved the lobby, loved the roof top garden Tv didn't work, bed rolled all over the place, no decor. Ultimately too basic for the nightly rate. It felt like it should have been an "hourly rate" motel.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, storage was excellent. There was a great range of breakfast foods available and the period of time it was available was suitable for all. Awesome location, so easy to wander out and about, perfect place to base yourself in the middle of Seattle.
Very kind staff. Reeaaaaalllly uncomfortable bed.
