Pros: Very nice hosts, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. One morning we went hiking very early in the morning, and they prepared a generous package with breakfast, so we don't miss our meal. In evenings there is an extraordinary dinner served. Highly recommended.
Cons: Just a small suggestion for the bathroom: s shelf in the shower would help, to have somewhere to put shampoo and shower gel bottles.
Pros: The breakfast, the room, the yard.
Pros: - Tasty food - Good location - The owner was really kind and helpful
Pros: Peacefull place near church. Great place to go to Transfagarasan and Transalpina
Pros: Nice host, very accommodating. Very good breakfast. The room was clean and tidy.
Cons: We were on the first floor, and could hear chatter coming up from the ground floor.
Pros: All. Location, food, hospitality.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like
Pros: Great hospitality of the hosts, delicious homemade food. Room very clean, cozy. A perfect place to rest and as a base for visiting the attractions of Transylvania. Best regards to the owners.
Pros: Wow!! Would best describe this beautiful family run pension. Located in a quiet and safe village a couple of miles off the highway standing adjacent a 300 year old church you will note how the old family property has been so lovingly renovated, bright white paint an endless display of colourful flowers serve as a “you have arrived” notice. Inside the large courtyard surrounded with more flowers and tables for outside dining. The new block with a/c and balconies mountain or forest views will remind one of a mountain chalet. To the rear a smallish swimming pool, ideal for summer in these parts. The hosts greet you and take delight in ensuring your every need is met. First class WiFi is on tap, we were provided with the details as we entered. Our round the village walk was followed by a half carafe of superb home made white wine. Then comes dinner, all you eat is from their own garden, land etc. Three courses with wine and liquer, a truly great and satisfying meal. Then it is to bed, we are in the section of the old house and it lacks for little. A most comfortable bed and a great nights sleep! Breakfast is as expected by now, all again based on the hosts home grown fare, so filling that the various cooked options were rejected, we had no room left. Yes a stay here will be memorable for all, we have travelled the world and our one night (we only wished we had time for more) stop equalled any we can recall. It was so very enjoyable in a lovely village, a beautiful house and with two hosts and their family who worked tirelessly to ensure all guests left with nothing but treasured memories.
Cons: Maybe a fan or a/c in the bedroom but we were in the “old” section of the property at our request and suspect most guests will find first class a/c in the rooms of the “newer” building.
Pros: We chose this hotel as a location for our ''rural'' part of the trip in Romania and did not regret it even for a moment! Located at the heart of picturesque village, authentic style, comfortable and clean rooms. Hosts are very nice people.
Pros: very interesting location in the old romanian village, very friendly owner.
Pros: Very pleasant people. Nice home environment tastefully decorated with comfortable well appointed room. Home from home for the weary traveller .
Pros: Beautiful location near the Fagaras mountains. Breathtaking scenery. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Room was very spacious and well appointed. Generous breakfast of whatever you wanted. Traditional cuisine. Hosts were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.
Pros: Very comfortable, very clean and homely. We were treated like members of the family. Highly recommend.

Pros: The comfortable place with a familiar atmosphere. Very hospitable and friendly hosts. I recommend staying at the guest house!
Pros: Very nice and helpful host. Good breakfast. Nice authentic village
Cons: Furniture a bit too simple/ old. Rooms a bit too noisy
Pros: Very friendly people, clean room and nice garden. It was good place to stay. We were satisfied.
Pros: The house is beautiful, with flowers and other facilities, but we didn't have time to check them. The room was nice looking, with a table and flat TV. The view and surrounding nature were excellent. There was a parking at the front for four cars. We actually got the keys very fast, because we were in a hurry for a festival opening. Only the young lady of the owners spoke English (just enough).
Cons: 1. Internet was awful, at room #1. There were 2 routers, one open and one with pass. The open one was working, but with bad signal and very slowly, at best I measured 12 Mbit download / 0.8 Mbit upload, with external antenna! The other one was connecting, with stronger signal, but there was no Internet at all. We really needed and expected a perfect Internet (because of comments of another guest). We had to upload pictures and videos from a festival, but there was no way with this connection. Very disappointing. 2. We had to take each evening a key from the house door and return it every day. It's so easy each room to have a key for the front door, and not to share a single key... Why? 3. The hot water was a problem - you have to wait 5-10 minutes to come and the last day there was no hot water at all. 4. It was actually too noisy at day time, but luckily we weren't there. At night was quiet. 5. There is no fridge at the room. 6. Only one person from the owners was speaking English.
Pros: Beautiful location, view, and house with courtyard. Lovely and unusually helpful hostess. Authentic village feeling.
Cons: Sheets could be softer.
Cons: No credit card payment
Pros: Very nice remote location.
Pros: The host was very understanding and let me in after 1 AM, following my unexpected 5 hours trip to the emergency room in Sibiu. The rooms we rented were clean and cozy. The host was very helpful and accommodating.
Pros: Room was clean and nice. Quite and beautiful place.
Pros: Amazing host! Valentin came to pick us from train station at night! Great place, great breakfast. Highly recommended!!
Pros: Lovely property , rustic in country side , peaceful and the owners were great and friendly
Pros: Good facilities in the shared area, minimarket
Cons: Very small room (barely any space to move around)

Pros: Photos on booking.com are well representing what you get when arrive. Room was clean and well sized. The restaurant is available at the property and pretty popular amongst locals. We were very satisfied with the breakfast provided.
Cons: Extensive road work underway into Avrig, which was a boredom. However it is possible to get to hotel from another side of a town.
Pros: Good people
Pros: Good restaurant inside The best place to stay before visiting Transfăgărăşan road Best staff: we've fogotten earings there. Asked staff to look for them, after not long waiting, they were found and sent to our home adress (Thanks a lot!)

Pros: Great location. Warm and spacious room.
Pros: Clean and tidy. Everything was perfect.
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Food was excelent. It's quite accesible and there are many tourist attractions near by (for instance we went to Bâlea Lake via Cârțișoara; we visited Fortress of Făgărași and Brâncoveanu Monastery).
Cons: I've expected it to be located much closer to nature. In fact, it is near the main way that goes to Brașov. However, there are many flowers that make up for it.
Pros: Everything was perfect (warm&cozy, lots of towels, good TV reception) and the staff was really kind (they even treated us with beers).
Pros: The staff, especially Ovidiu. He was more than helpful with everything we needed. Very clean rooms. We arrived late at night and the chef was all ready gone, Ovidiu cooked for us 5 portions of food and all different! He made the extra bed I have requested... all in one this guy Ovidiu was the only one employee, but he given perfect service.
Cons: First : very difficult to find the property, specially the entrance. Don’t go forGPS instruction because it will take you in gipsy neighborhoods, scarring! Second: I called the property 7 times on the phone and no answers! Finally I spoke to someone and ask for the extrabed. 3rd: after I asked 2 times by phone for a written confirmation for extra-bed, I got it! At arrival did not had the extra-bed!!! 4th: the management do not inform the employees what they have to do, they just have to guess and adapt! The management should give more attention to employees because they are very good!
