Pros: We travel with a kid then we enjoy the swimming pool. Also for this reason the hotel gave us a room upgrade because in Berlin kids for 2 years do not pay but the business suite was small for the 3 of us. The location is excelent and the service also
Pros: Great room, very helpful staff allowed us to check in early, simple & quick WiFi
Pros: Excellent staff, wonderful room; they upgraded us to a suite at no cost and a free breakfast too!
Cons: It sure is not a five star hotel. Lots of noise from the street and you need to walk forever to get to your room.
Pros: The loccation is the best! The staff was very helpful and the hotel was neat and clean.
Cons: The room is clean and nice but is not a five stars hotel room, neither the space nor the facilities. The metress is not a luxury hotel metress.
Pros: Very good location. Near public transport and nice spa in hotel
Cons: No early check in options (required me to upgrade to a more expensive room)
Pros: Size of room was generous (Business Deluxe). Wifi worked well. Bathroom was splendid.
Cons: Room was hot. AC was not available in October. Windows only open up a crack. Street noise when they are open is annoying. Location is kind of out of the way now that Berlin is reunified. Hot tub is just pool temperature. TV reception dreadful.
Cons: Room service was mediocre. Exhorbitant price for extremely tiny portions. I am used to expensive meals at high-end hotels but the portions were laughable.
Good city hotel with good staff
Pros: Large room and great swimming pool.
Cons: Need two arm chairs in room instead of one sofa
Located in West Berlin, this modern hotel is next door to the Europa Centre shopping complex and within just 500 metres of the bustling and cosmopolitan Kurfürstendamm.
Pros: No surprises, good or bad. Very good location. Room was nice. Shower had great water pressure. "Free" internet isn't free because you need to pay a small fee unless you are very minimally using it.
Pros: Great location, thoughtful front desk staff, beautiful room. But all the accolades go to Sam the concierge

Designed by award-winning Berlin architect Jan Kleihues, the luxury hotel is characterizedby elegance and understatement. The exclusive interior design is enhanced by an elegant lighting concept, warm tones and modern art.
Pros: Gorgeous decor and incredibly friendly and helpful staff - they were so good to us! We arrived well before the check in time started and they were still able to get us settled in to our room within minutes.
Cons: For some reason, we were put in a room with two single beds? But honestly, we were so jet lagged it didn't really matter. The beds were VERY comfortable as well.
Pros: Great value for my money and nice facilities.

The booking did not come through for 48 hours.
The hotel is conveniently located in Berlin, has comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast, with vegan options.
Pros: Standards of finish and cleanliness exceptionally high. Nice rooms - well equipped.
Cons: Whilst the bar staff were nice, they were unable to mix cocktails! The Negroni cocktail is made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso, and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel. It is considered an apéritif.
Located in Mitte, this luxury hotel is within a 10-minute walk of German Historical Museum, Gendarmenmarkt, and Galeries Lafayette. Berlin Cathedral and Museum Island are also within 10 minutes.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning, though I gather that's usual for Germany.
Pros: We loved the hotel...great location, beautiful decor, comfortable and clean, plus the Aqua Dom view was outstanding! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat (and we will be back!)

Pros: I have stayed at the Grand Hotel Esplanade since it was built and it has maintained a high quality product; all rooms are comfortable and the staff is very supportive. The 100 bus stops a block away and will take you to touist destinations, get a transit pass at the train station to cover the days you will be going around.
Cons: Although the hotel has enlarged the gym, it did so in removing some of the amenities such as the aroma therapy room, the juice, etc. bar, and the pool was too cold this trip. I also miss the frendly and delicious rstaurants that were previously available. Nevertheless, I would likely opt to stay there again.
Cons: The pillows were a little thin.
Pros: The bed was lovely, the room spotless and the staff helpful to a fault. Harry's bar was also a lovely place to sit outside and relax with a drink.
Cons: The view could've been a little better. Paid for a view of the canal but got a room overlooking the glass roof over the forecourt and could barely see the canal.

Pros: Thanks to the location of this hotel, I visited Wannsee conferenc area.
Cons: I thought by mistake that this hotel was convenient to visit central Berlin by public transportation, but it is not at all! To use this hotel, automobile is indispensable. In case of useing taxi, it costs a lot, even around 100 Euro per day, much more than hotel charge.
Pros: The stuffs in the evening and early morning were great!
Cons: The staff that checked me in was not that friendly. I supposed it was the hotel policy, I was asking whether can I check in earlier since they have room available, however she told me a half day room needs to be charged! So far I have travelled to many countries, even today I am in London, I was here before check in time, the staff was happily to checked me in because they have room available! I was wondering since I will be the one to use the room why half a day of the room charge is needed? Are they changing the bedsheets and replace another room for me????

Pros: Staff members greeted us warmly and the lobby looked very luxe, so it was a good first impression. We found the room and bathroom to be very clean and of a good size for two people - not spacious, but pretty similar to most American budget chain hotel room sizes. The bathroom had a large countertop area for toiletries, and it was great to have some chairs in the room, too, so we didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. Sure, the carpet looked worn, but nothing else looked shabby and it didn't affect our comfort level at all. We always hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door overnight and were never bothered by housekeeping. Plus, the location was perfect - a block in one direction to the metro, and a block in the other direction to the bus. It was extremely convenient to get around, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do and see. We got an excellent deal on .Price..line. and were very happy with our stay.
Cons: The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit during peak showering times. Also, the mattresses were harder than I'd like and thus not that comfortable for me, but that is subjective. Pillows were quite flat, but they happily sent us more when we asked.
Pros: I liked the pool and that they had bikes for rent. It was close to a lot of things which was very nice.
Cons: Housekeeping woke us up every morning at 10 am. When I'm on vacation I don't want people coming into my room and waking me up. Any other hotel I've stayed in they don't start housekeeping until noon or so but I guess that's how it is here in Germany. The shower wasn't draining but they fixed that the last day we were there.
Cons: The hotel room smelled like smoke despite the staff leaving the window open. The room was tiny and the bed was practically a pull out. I use Kayak to book hotels and was disappointed by this choice especially considering the extremely high price I pay of over 350 dollars for a small twin bed.
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: Cigarette smoke smell
Pros: Thhe Breakfast Buffet was fine!
Cons: The Hotel is really old and you see it in any corner! The carpets are from the 70´s the curtains were so dirty and even damaged! It was difficult to close the curtains to get darkness in the room to sleep. Even the uniforms of the staff were obviously used and old like the carpets! Not a good feeling to stay in that house.
