10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely warm welcome from Marion and Dominique. The accommodation is fabulous - all done up by Marion over the last couple of years. Our room was very attractive and spacious, looking out on the central courtyard. We arrived too late for local restaurants on a Sunday night, and Marion very kindly made us a delicious salad from local ingredients. The peaches at breakfast were also from their own garden. It was very easy to come off the motorway on our way north and stop here and return the next morning to our journey.
Cons: It was all very good. Our satnav took us on a very eccentric route (the vieille cote de l'eglise is not passable) so we arrived hot and bothered, but our hosts were very welcoming.

Pros: Superb stay here - loved the stylish rooms. The air conditioned house had plenty of room to relax in the lounge and around the pool and in the garden. Florence was the perfect host. Always around to help but stays quietly out of the way. Felt like we were the only people in the whole place. Would highly recommend would love to return. A nice walk into town where there were a few restaurants to choose from - and our host, Florence, kindly gave us a lift in.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Old palatial building with quirky yet comfortable rooms. The host, Isabelle, was as accomodating and friendly as a host could be. Excellent breakfast in the ancient breakfast room. There's a swimming pool in the garden as well.
Cons: The only available restaurants were around a 30 minute walk.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was amazing! Better than the pictures and the owners are the most welcome people you can meet! We were really happy that we chose that place!
Cons: No restaurants near. So you had to go by car or walk 30 minutes.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quirky but nice, clean, friendly and a good breakfast.
Cons: The property was great, the village in which it was situated has died, there is almost nothing left. Had to drive to the nearest town for dinner, which was nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is beautiful! We were offered drinks on arrival, and Nadine had everything we wanted - for us sparking water and diet Coke! The outdoor garden areas are lovely and there is a very nice pool and chairs for relaxing. Our room and bathroom was enormous, with several windows, nice bedding and elegant setting. The rain shower was such a joy after a day of walking. The breakfast was delicious!
Cons: I can't think of anything.

7.0 Good
Pros: Good location. Quiet, overlooking river (L’Adour). Convenient for town restaurants and bars. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Adequately clean although glasses in my bathroom had some kind of dried crystallised gunge in the bottom! Goid value for short stay. Fine for travelling pets.
Cons: Outside hotel looks a little tired. Cleanliness adequate. Breakfast minimalistic.

Pros: This was a really nice place for a days rest. The pool was wonderful and a short walk to restaurants and shops.
Cons: We had 2 lights that didn’t work and the bathroom light was pretty noisy. Easy fixes.

Pros: Check in staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, not super comfortable but that wasn’t the purpose of our visit. Breakfast was very generous. View over the river was lovely. Terrace area was a relaxing place to sit for a late afternoon drink.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: A few more sun loungers would have been ideal
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice clean place. Rooms have AC and are large and comfortable. Is a bit out of downtown but actually is a beautiful walk in. Nice people working there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, professional and flexible staff. Rooms are sparkly clean and well maintained despite being a touch dated. It was nice to get a rate for 1 person only, instead of paying the same price as a couple. Ample parking and only a few minutes walk away from the town centre. The bar is open all day long.
Cons: The mattress was way too soft for me, but I'm peculiar that way and I didn't ask to rectify it ;)

7.0 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Confusing because of language issues. Room was small. But worst was they stated a balcony and though technically it was a balcony, the area was completely walled off with no view and with one plastic chair. Also I booked this hotel specifically to eat at the restaurant, but was told on arrival that the restaurant was closed that night. HUGE disappointment.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome from owner. He kindly upgraded me from a standard room to a more comfortable room at no further cost. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and there was a spotlessly clean ensuite. A good continental breakfast was offered in the morning. I wasn't able to have a meal in the restaurant as it was closed (public holiday). Highly recommended for pilgrims on the trail to Santiago de Compostella. Good value for money
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a family hotel and really felt like one. We were walking the GR 65 and needed to leave very early in the morning. The hotel went out of its way to make this possible, They trusted us to get our own breakfast and coffee at the bar, which is not really set up for self-service an hour earlier than their normal start time. We were really delighted by the way they accommodated our special needs as walkers.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Simple, family hotel with great restaurant. The room was simple but clean with a comfortable bed. The rooms are above the family restaurant. We ate our meals in the restaurant both nights of our stay. Excellent food with friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This must have been my tenth visit to Chez L'Ahumat and it only gets better! Make no mistake, this is not about 5* hotel luxury, this about Gascon food. The rooms have been upgraded from old fashioned to simple, that is there are now showers and a w.c. in the rooms we had (as opposed to using the communals on the landing as in yester year). No, Chez l'Ahumat is firstly the restaurant, secondly the restaurant and only then come the rooms. On a cold, damp MONDAY night in April, the restaurant was nearly full with only four residents and twenty locals. Enough said.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No fan or air-conditioning in room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great family business, ell organized, very nice staff, Hotel + bar + restaurant + parking + terrasse outside.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Hotel was located centrally in the town and secure parking provided for our motorcycles.
Cons: During the day of the booking, I was contacted and asked to arrive earlier than the expected 7.30pm. With the language barrier, I took this that the restaurant was closing earlier. On arrival, the restaurant was closed and didn't appear to have opened that day at all. It seemed like the owner just wanted to go home which ment we missed some of our planned trip. There was no toilet in 2 of the rooms and the 3rd rooms toilet was old and very noisy. Hotel seemed grubby and didn't appear to have money invested in a long time. In the shower, the shower head had to be held in one of the rooms as there was no where to hang it on the wall. On leaving and during breakfast, the staff were very pleasant and helpful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was nice and quiet, staff very friendly. The restaurant menu looked good and we would have liked to stay for dinner, but had arranged to meet friends at another restaurant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value and comfortable but a little update would be nice
Cons: Plumbing not very good.
