Pros: It was welcoming without being fussy, comfortable without being luxurious and you got what you paid for without pretending to offer more.
Pros: Initial reception from the husband and wife owners was very welcoming.
Cons: Had to prepay the bill for overnight stay and once paid the initial warmth of the owners evaporated. Wanted a drink at the bar at just after 10pm and we were rushed into finishing it so they could close up. We had two rooms, both of which were very run down. They were clean, but only in the most basic sense. Beds were uncomfortable and I was not tempted to use the shower. Overall, cheap but not very cheerful.
Pros: Clean hotel with friendly staff, we were made very welcome.
Pros: Food excellent and good value
Pros: friendly staff & helpfull
Cons: Damp mould on walls but OK as 1 night stop
