8.0 Excellent
Pros: Romantic location, rooms very clean. This place had kept the charm of the eighties. The whole village is so frenchy, but sadly very empty. The place has a tremendous potential, very nice location, but the area seems to become a ghost town. If you like the athmosphere of a thriller movie, this is the perfect spot.
Cons: Smell of cigarette and cuisine in the whole building, including inside the room. No warm water in bathroom, at best water became slightly warm after running for 5 straight minutes Asked for a whiskey at the bar, got a bourbon. Restaurant was sadly empty on a friday night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Superb friendly staff that made you feel really welcome. Dinner was great and our dog loved it!! Highly recommended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: just outside a tiny town, in the woods. Rooms very utilitarian. Breakfast lovely, dinner on site- very good wine, excellent dessert. Wifi great. didn't charge for the dog- host spoke great English. hostess did not, but she was very friendly! an old house ruins on site! would definitely recommend.
Cons: nothing, it was perfect. I don't know what you'd do in this area for an extended stay, but great great spot for a stopover on the road!

Cons: Nothing to not like
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Their cooking is just very light, modern and environmentally conscious! A true "ecological" dinner, good wines, pumkin soup, for a main course we had aardperen, buckwheat and duck combined. And the dessert was also wonderful: ice cake with little red fruits.
Cons: It was excellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location near the main road. They have just opened after the Covid restrictions so we where lucky to get the whole place to ourselves. The dinner and breakfast was superb. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were exceptional
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The best stopover on the way to the Alps or South of France. Excellent B&B with exceptional food!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here on the way to the Alps. It was a short notice stay but the welcome I received was superb. The property is beautiful, situated close enough to the main road to Dijon to. E easy to access, yet far enough away to feel perfectly remote in a quiet village. The room was incredibly comfortable, beautifully furnished, the bed very comfortable. I arrived late so only had breakfast at the property, and it was delicious. I wished I could have eaten more. Croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, charcuterie. All perfect. I wished I could have stayed for longer, but will return to experience the local delights of wine, food and history. Places like this are rare and should be supported as much as possible during such a difficult time for the tourism industry.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient for the autoroute. The meal was superb, room very comfortable and our hosts charming. All in all an excellent break in our journey
Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the room was perfect for us and our 3 children and the dog!!!!...... very clean and friendly staff. we had dinner in the restaurant that was also very good.
Cons: breakfast wasn't great and we originally thought it was included in the price
5.0 Okay
Pros: In a sweet little village. The building is lovely.
Cons: The 3 rooms I booked were obviously in the older part of the hotel, the decor was atrocious, my room was dark and dingy. I had one tiny velux for light. As for the food, well it was awful overcooked steak. Plenty of snails on the menu, menus were filthy and sticky. My friends room had an advocado bath, no shower screen and the shower attachment would not fit in the wall bracket, so you couldnt shower. The overflow was taped up with packing tape. The room smelt of cigarettes. If you stay here make sure you dont get room 7 or 4.
7.9 Good
Pros: Plenty of space in the family room. Nice, if expensive, restaurant downstairs. Gorgeous French village.
Cons: Our room facing front had noisy traffic from early morning.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice hotel, room for 5 persons is not spacious enough, but OK to stay for one night. Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere of the village.
Cons: Car park was full, so I had to park the car on the main road. WiFi didn’t work. Restaurant on site is good, but overpriced. Breakfast is very basic.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Mattress was too soft, Mentioned it to staff.
7.0 Good
Pros: The town is very pretty and so is the building. Rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant looked nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also really liked the breakfast.
Cons: The rooms and furniture are a little dated. A couple of lights didn't work and the furniture is quite basic.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was good but no Espresso in breakfast room although available in adjacent bar-but not offered !
Cons: Just about everything ; The room (1) was awful .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything you wanted in an hotel.Very friendly staff and locals, had a great time.
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was basic but adequate. location is good - although it took us a while to get there off the motorway, the road is actually parallel and going North or South back onto it is easy. the host was very friendly
Cons: the decor isn;t in good condition - especially the shared WC - which was disappointing
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Walls are falling apart, you cannot climb the stairs with the light on. Fungus in the bathroom. No clean sheets. If you request a baby bed, you get a defective baby bed which the owner says he cannot set up. But of course no one can since it is broken. There is a gross shared toilet. The owner is not surprised when you say: "I cannot stay here". All he does is reply "No good?" and "bye". I think he makes most of his money by getting paid for the rooms he does not rent out because they are a hazard for anyone's health. I thoroughly encourage you not to rent a room here. If you have young children and have somehow booked, please cancel since you are putting your children at risk. This establishment is clearly not run by a professional or anyone with passion for the hotel business.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Jean-Cloud is a super friendly host and great cook! The room was simple but clean. The food was DELICIOUS. Merci beaucoup! Vielen dank! ;)
Cons: The nearby road can be a bit noisy.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Landlord very friendly and helpful ,good location
Cons: One of our sons family room ,the double bed had leg missing and pile of books held it up ! Stifling hot ,our room had shutters permanently closed with no way of opening for air , extremely noisy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully charming host - with a few pleasant surprises. The cuisine of the restaurant is excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The patron is just lovely. Our stay was just a mid-point on a journey and we chose the cheapest but he turned it into a happy, memorable time, just by being so sweet. I would choose this over a faceless IBIS Budget (despite loving how immaculate they are) any time because a friendly encounter is a lasting memory. We never tried the food (arrived too late) but hear from the locals that it's very good.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very friendly welcome they stayed up until 12;30 am to welcome us, the beds were clean
Cons: its a bit of a rural backwater and the general condition of the hotel was quite run down, lots of peeling wallpaper, generally pretty poor condition although cheap, we'd have expected very cheap or much better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very nice every thing that you need
Cons: nothing

Pros: I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the size and cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was good. The room was quiet.
Cons: The room was cold. The central heating wasn't working and the installed electrical heaters were insufficient to heat the room. The WiFi in the room was super slow, barely usable for text-heavy sites. The reception of the TV-channels was not always stable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a lovely stay. The staff were helpful although there was a problem with rooms as we’d changed our reservation some time before arrival. Restaurant is not cheap but so good and charming. Please support places like this - it’s so worth the extra small amount.
Cons: Staff Charm Surroundings Restaurant

Cons: Food a bit pricey for children with few vegetarian options.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: If you like quirky, then this is the place for you. A very old building in a beautiful village. Lots of nooks and crannies, oak beams, and not a right angle or straight line anywhere to be seen. The best part was the food in their restaurant, really top class. The room was clean and adequate, and breakfast fine.
Cons: One of our beds creaked!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ideal stay with our 2 young kids in the Family room, very spacious and comfortable. We stayed just for 1 night passing through on our way further south and it was nice to be able to have dinner in the restaurant.
Cons: The food was pricy and not great (perhaps due to Valentines day the kitchen was overwhelmed, but the coque au vin was so dry we didn’t even finish it). We had called beforehand to enquire if we could charge our electric car, but when we arrived they only had a regular power cord that didn’t work and we had a 2 hour delay the next day having to find a nearby charger and get the car powered up. If we would have known the real situation we would have chosen another hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A little of Autoroute has attached restaurant stayed twice. Has nice grounds. Travelled with our pet. Felt welcome Better than chain

Pros: Nice old property,
Cons: Breakfast. As a prerequisite I booked "gluten Free" option, and there was nothing but clementines as option. . The breakfast my wife had, as she is not celiac, was basically a piece of bread with fruit jam, and a slice of plain madeira cake. Coffee was pretty nice though...
5.4 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable, and the host was pleasant.

Cons: Property and grounds were not at its best in terms of older pictures
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Situated in large grounds, excellent for walking our dogs. Proprietor very helpful, upgraded room to one with direct garden access and phoned local restaurant to book for us
Cons: Out of season we were only guests and no restaurant available, so stayed on a B and B basis. Charge for dogs a bit steep at € 15 each. Hot water not very hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming château hidden away in its park. A very wam welcome from our hosts and we arrived just in time for dinner, which was all homemade with local produce. Delicious ! Despite being near the railway, our room was very quiet and comfortable. Reading the negative comments about the restaurant I think it’s important that people understand that they are booking a “chambres d’hote” with tables d’hôtes not a 24/24 hotel. Understandably if only one room is rented then the kitchen may not be open so I would advise to call before you arrive. Don’t get put off by the negative comments it was delightful !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were travelling through France during the Covid-19 crisis. A difficult task. The couple who run the hotel were exceptionally kind and attentive. They deserve every support in these difficult times. A beautiful and charming place.
Cons: The plumbing is rather dated.

Cons: Restaurant not open even when I asked in advance of the booking if we were OK for a meal reading previous reviews. Pool not in operation either Tidy but tired rooms with zero water pressure in shower At £150 a night I expected better

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming. Loads of space. Great breakfast! Highly recommended.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Before dinner (please inform the owner in advance in order to prepare it), we had a refreshing swim. The earlier comments were correct regarding the fact that on the way back from the swimming pool, we had to pass through a broad staircase (from the terrace to the living room) and through the marvellous and spacious living room in order to go to the shower and, later on, to our room upstairs. But we really felt free and didn't bother much about that, due to the fact that 1) nobody but us made use of the living room (FYI: it was a Saturday evening), and 2) Stéfane, the owner, was very welcoming, so even if he and his family would have been there, we wouldn't have minded passing, and 3) personally, I love to see how other people live and this living room was awesome. Regarding the night: we have slept very well. The bed was lovely and it was very quiet. The owner told me in the morning that the mattress was new, so I guess that several earlier comments can be disregarded. Breakfast: fresh croissants with jam, fresh baguette, fresh jus d'orange (orange juice), fresh coffee. Mmmmm. Milk for coffee and chocolate drink was hot or cold on request, so all in all perfect. Only a slice of cheese for the baguette would have been appreciated, but maybe that's due to the fact that originally I'm from the Netherlands, the cheese country ;-) Geographical location: exactly halfway from mid-Germany to the Côte d'Azur, so it was a perfect location to spend the night for a single driver with a 5-year-old child.
Cons: Rien - nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Choice to dine with local french products
Cons: Toilet and bathroom not on the room's floor
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were made very welcome on arrival. Nice comfortable room. Lovely breakfast. Stephane was a wonderful host. My wife fell in love with Popeye the cat!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The host was very friendly
Cons: The private bathroom was on another floor. This was explained but the lights in the corridor were off during the night and I did not.want to wake the host not his family so decided to wait to use bathroom until the morning. The breakfast was very simple, juice, coffe, croissant, bread and jam.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very warm welcome, good pool and nice room. Very good stay and great value.
Cons: We drove past it initially, the driveway had a large lip at the front not good for low cars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful place. The dining/living area was huge and wonderfully decorated. Our room was large, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The shower room was big, clean and modern. We were offered a meal on our arrival which was 4 courses true of the region made by the host with local produce. It was delicious. The hosts were warm, helpful and incredibly friendly. On our departure we were given a bag of walnuts from the tree in their garden.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We opted to have an evening meal. Great decision, excellent we also bought a bottle of the red wine perfect with the selection of cheeses. And our host was really attentive. Also the parking at the property.
Cons: I missed somewhere the bathroom not being en-suite this was down a flight of stairs and for our use only. It was not a problem in the end. We felt there could be a better selection of food for breakfast and maybe an option for people with special diets. It’s one area which can be improved as it’s your last memory prior to leaving. No mirror in the bedroom, women love to do make up and check their look. No where to hang clothes wardrobe was locked. Could also do with a TV and maybe tea and coffee making facilities. That said our stay was comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely house and charming hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, great pool, beautiful house. Excellent evening meal. Lovely coffee. Breakfast was good. Very quiet place to stay. The room was very comfy. Lovely views over open countryside.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious bedrooms, good continental breakfast, easy access going north/south from A31

6.0 Good
Pros: The room was very clean.
Cons: The hotel has recently been refurbished. Although everything was clean and new, there was an overwhelming chemical smell in the room as a result of the work. I arrived too late to ask for a change of room, but the rooms really need to be checked and aired out before placing guests.

7.9 Good

Cons: A coat of paint in room wouldn’t go a miss
