La Casona de Ucieda stands in the center of town that takes its name. Recognized throughout Cantabria for being the head of the beech forest that nurtures the Natural Reserve of Saja-Besaya, Ucieda is perhaps as well known or more, as the capital of mountain stew, one of the jewels of the Cantabrian cuisine. The house dates from the seventeenth century, was restored in the mid-90 to make it one of the first rural houses that began to offer their services in the region. On 3 floors, La Casona offers 10 rooms decorated in rustic style, each with individual bathroom. The middle floor houses the main hall, where every morning we will serve breakfast for you face a packed hard day experiences. All rooms are double occupancy and have their own bathroom. In case of families with children, they may notify the time of booking, so that it can be conditioned room with an extra bed.
