Pros: It was clean the the lady was very nice, she helped out with any doubts and was very polite
Cons: It was quite basic and the breakfast wasn’t great. You had to ask for more coffee instead of it just being there. The food was nice, homemade cake but there could have been more choice
Pros: Beautiful location, walking distance of several good restaurants, host was charming and tried hard to speak to us in English. River view room was lovely, spacious and very clean with stunning mountain views. Nice easy walks close by. Breakfast was simple but well presented.
Cons: It was all lovely
Pros: Posada with a lot of charm, very nicely furnished and decorated and a lovely garden to spend end of evenings. Location as well is very interesting and proved to be very easy to join both the Ocean coast, wonderful beaches and the interior with gorgeous Picos de Europa for example. I spent an excellent time en la Posada Fuentona and much of it due to the lovely host Esperanza.

Pros: This really is a fantastic place lovely people who can't do enough for you
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: Location perfect for our journey to Santander to meet the ferry. We were met by Brenda and later by Michael the owners. The other reviews were right and they couldn’t have been more helpful welcoming and accommodating. Local restaurant was closed so Brenda took us to another in her own car. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast plentiful and views were great. Thanks M&K
Pros: Made to feel very welcome by both Brenda and Mike. Best nights sleep i've had for a while. The local knowledge passed onto me both for travel and local info - i can only say was brilliant - thank you.
Cons: Nothing could have been better
Pros: lLovely house, spotless. Our hosts were out to greet us before I was off the bike' exceptional room and a welcome coffee. The nearby restaurant was closed on the day we visited so Mike ran us up the mountain to another that I would like to revisit one day. Good breakfast
Cons: The weather was bad when we arrived and I followed the sat nav over a wet and foggy mountain . There is an easier way through the valley. but is a great place to stay and worth the inconvenience
Pros: Mike and Brenda are the perfect hosts, they couldn't do enough for us! The rooms and the breakfast were great. Mike has a vast knowledge of the area and is happy to impart his knowledge which is well worth hearing. Excellent!!
Pros: Excellent service, excellent breakfast. They could not do enough to help with any request.

Pros: Beautiful location so handy for the Santander ferry. All of the staff were so friendly- good restaurant and bar. Excellent parking facilities.
Pros: Diego was an absolute star . The hotel is unique in the best possible way . Lovely restaurant . The Rain Gin was the icing on the stay .
Cons: Having 2 attic rooms was great !
Pros: Only around an hour from Santander, just far enough to travel when you get off the boat late. It has character and all the rooms were individually furnished and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant but seemed to flap because they could not speak English and we have little Spanish but we managed. Turned out there was no electricity the following morning and they were trying to let us know
Cons: Restaurant was a little limited due to only having a room service menu in English.
Pros: The rooms are beautiful, a treat for the senses. Out of this world, quirky, imaginative and tasteful. Very special.
Pros: The building is a very fine and interesting old building in a pretty setting. Our room, bathroom and balcony were large
Cons: The public areas weren’t cleaned after a function even by the next morning. The restaurant had a very limited selection of dishes and was overpriced. Breakfast was disappointing, most of the items on the buffet looked like they’d been there for a long time, the fruit was rotten. We had a large bathroom but it needs refurbishing as the shower unit is very small, plastic and old with a dangerous drop as you step out of it. It also has a huge quite old round bath even though there’s a sign asking you not to use too much water!
Pros: EVERYONE CHARMING. EVEN CAME OUT ON TO THE ROAD TO GUIDE US IN. OUR SAT NAV GOT US ALMOST THERE BUT WE NEEDED HELP FOR THE LAST QUARTER OF A MILE. SUITE COMFORTABLE AND DECOR DELIGHTFUL. GARDENS BEAUTIFUL. LOVELY SOFT JAZZ PLAYING IN THE BAR...WE ATE FROM THE A LA CARTE MENU. SHARED WARM FISH SALAD WITH CHEESE SAUCE. ALSO SHARED DELICIOUS TBone STEAK..OVER A KILO! WE ATE IN THE FIRST DINING ROOM WHICH IS SMALLER. AND MORE INTIMATE. WE HAD A VERY GOOD BREAKFAST IN THE LARGER DINING ROOM. THE STAFF MADE OUR TWO LITTLE DOGS VERY WELCOME. OUR FERRY WASN't UNTIL THE EVENING SO WE SPENT A VERY PLEASANT DAY INTHE GARDEN AND LOOKING AT THE VILLAGE. SO NEAR SANTANDER...A JOY. THE ROOMS HAVE ALL BEEN DESIGNED INDIVIDUALLY.....AS WE WILL CERTAINLY RETURN WITH FRIENDS WE LOOKED AT ANOTHER SUITE. THIS HOTEL IS A CREDIT TO THE FAMILY WHO OWN IT.
Cons: WE ARE DISCERNING TRAVELLERS AND LIKED EVERYTHING.
Pros: Everything was great!!!
Cons: Nothing not to like!!

Pros: The peace: everything very hushed and tranquil: reception, lounge, restaurant, room: staff spoke softly. The customer attention- from reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff The standard of the food The comfort of the bed The spa bath The really really really excellent massage- WONDERFUL
Pros: the staff were very helpful
Cons: the rooms were a little dark and the hotel is off the beaten track. Ask for a room away from the road.

Pros: The hotel is a charming old building that has recently been renovated. I would certainly stay there again. All good and happy!
Cons: The breakfast was a bit basic.
Cons: Confusing information about payment through booking.com
Pros: Good breakfast, very nice room. We bought sufficient for an evening meal from a small supermarket just up the road.
Pros: Nice burger and chips next door to hotel
Cons: Nothing really it’s a peace to getaway very little to do in the area but that was the point of the trip for me spiritual garabandal up the road
Pros: Freshly squeezed orange juice, fabulous coffee, lovely toast done to perfection.
Cons: Would have liked a little more to the breakfast, than orange juice, tea/coffee & toast. Maybe some eggs or fruit as well please, would be nice.

Pros: A wonderufl warm greeting- lovely place to stay - highly recomend.
Pros: Very attentive staff, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast.

This pleasant rural guest house is located within the Nansa Valley in Puentenansa, Cantabria. It features a terrace, free Wi-Fi and comfortable rooms, 1 hours’ drive from Santander. Pros: Owner allowed Motorcycles to be placed in his garage, 50m up the road. This saved them being left on the roadside. We were fed and watered by our host, the local wine was rather nice.
Cons: B.com did say english spoken , take google translate it helps emensly as they do not.
Pros: I booked for 4 nights but had a miracle. I was recognised by a friend as I left the church and ended up staying with her. Amazing - it was my aunties doctors wife. It’s a small world.
Cons: I thought it was in Garabandal when I booked it but it was 7km from there. Pleasant accomodation though.
Pros: Very nice check-in experience. Inexpensive bar next door. Cute little town.
Pros: Water pressure in the shower was xcellent. Great stopover in the mountains during my cycling tour of northern Spain
Pros: This place is the best for your money if you rent a car. All members of staff are helpful and will go at great length to ensure you enjoy your stay. They speak English very well and will instruct you what are the best destinations. It's family owned and with the price of a hostel. Except it is cheaper.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. The cantabria area requires you rent a car in order for you to visit the beautiful mountains along the main roads. I recommend you rent a car from youSpain.com and obtain it from Santander. You will not regret it.
Pros: Helpful staff. Let me park my motorcycle in their garage overnight
Cons: Some noise from street but not that bad
When you stay at El Roblón De Cabuerniga in Valle de Cabuerniga, you'll be in the mountains and 8 minutes by car from Saja-Besaya Natural Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Breakfast was terrible
Located in Valle de Cabuerniga, Arha Reserva del Saja is within a 15-minute drive of Saja-Besaya Natural Park and Pozo del Diablo. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location. Green credentials. Bar staff
Cons: Reception staff weren’t that helpful
Cons: My rooms had uneven flooring - wooden flooring warped with sharp edges.
Pros: The location and the breakfast are good and the area around the hotel is very claen.
Cons: You must pay for the pool inside, outdoor pool is not kept clean properly,no chairs on the balcon of the room. Rooms are small.
Pros: Wonderful location and landscapes. The hotel is environment-friendly and very nice.
Cons: The outdoor swimming pool only opens at 11.00.
Cons: This was a very expensive stay as we had mistaken the cost per room for the total cost of the hotel and when we checked out the total cost was therefore double what we had budgeted to pay. It cost us £600 for a 2 room 2 night stay!! What annoyed us most was the fact that this did not include breakfast or use of the indoor pool or Spa - everything was chargeable on top. We felt that we had been completely "ripped off". Whilst this was a nice hotel, it was no better than any of the other 4 star hotels we had stayed in this holiday which had averaged out at 60 euros per room per night, one even including a super breakfast. We would not recommend this hotel or stay there again because of this.
Pros: The staff were very welcoming, the rooms clean and the hotel very well designed
Cons: The bar did not open (but we did not ask).
